ABSTRACT
Resumen Introducción: los fisioterapeutas y fonoaudiólogos como profesionales de la salud generan impacto en el rol educativo realizando acciones dentro de sus competencias de detección temprana y oportuna de las alteraciones que se presentan frecuentemente en educación inicial y preescolar a nivel de los procesos motores y comunicativos. Objetivo: realizar una reflexión sobre el rol del fisioterapeuta y el fonoaudiólogo en la educación inicial y preescolar de niños en Colombia. Reflexión: es necesaria la inclusión de los fisioterapeutas y los fonoaudiólogos en el sector educativo, formando grupos interdisciplinares en conjunto con los docentes, familias, e instituciones educativas con el fin de impactar positivamente en el bienestar comunicativo y desarrollo motor de la población que se encuentra en educación inicial y preescolar. Conclusión: se resalta la importancia de incluir a los fisioterapeutas y fonoaudiólogos en el equipo interdisciplinar en el sector educativo, con el fin de abordar de manera temprana las dificultades que puedan generarse a nivel comunicativo y en el desarrollo motor.
Abstract Introduction: Health professionals such as physiotherapists and speech therapists, within their competences, generate an impact on the educational role by carrying out early and opportune detection actions of the alterations that frequently occur in initial and preschool education at the level of motor and communication processes. Objective: To make a reflection on the role of the physiotherapist and speech therapist in the initial and preschool education of children in Colombia. Reflection: It is important to highlight and recognize the importance of including physiotherapists and speech therapists in the education sector in such a way that it can impact the population that is in initial and preschool education, forming interdisciplinary groups together with teachers, families, and schools, to impact the communicative well-being and motor development. Conclusion: When making the reflection, the importance of including physiotherapists and speech therapists in the interdisciplinary team of the educational sector is highlighted, to approach the difficulties that may be generated at the communicative level and in motor development in an early stage.

Spine disorders are the leading cause of disability worldwide. To promote social inclusion, it is essential to ensure that people can participate in their societies by improving their ability, opportunities, and dignity, through access to high-quality, evidence-based, and affordable spine services for all.To achieve this goal, SPINE20 recommends six actions.- SPINE20 recommends that G20 countries deliver evidence-based education to the community health workers and primary care clinicians to promote best practice for spine health, especially in underserved communities.- SPINE20 recommends that G20 countries deliver evidence-based, high-quality, cost-effective spine care interventions that are accessible, affordable and beneficial to patients.- SPINE20 recommends that G20 countries invest in Health Policy and System Research (HPSR) to generate evidence to develop and implement policies aimed at integrating rehabilitation in primary care to improve spine health.- SPINE20 recommends that G20 countries support ongoing research initiatives on digital technologies including artificial intelligence, regulate digital technologies, and promote evidence-based, ethical digital solutions in all aspects of spine care, to enrich patient care with high value and quality.- SPINE20 recommends that G20 countries prioritize social inclusion by promoting equitable access to comprehensive spine care through collaborations with healthcare providers, policymakers, and community organizations.- SPINE20 recommends that G20 countries prioritize spine health to improve the well-being and productivity of their populations. BACKGROUND: The Bolsa Família cash transfer Program (BFP) aims to break the poverty cycle by providing a minimum income to poor families conditioned on their investment in human capital (such as, education and health) and currently is the largest Program in the world in terms of the number of beneficiaries. Because there is a scarcity of reviews grouping studies on the impacts of the BFP, the objective of this scoping review was to identify and describe studies which evaluate the impact of the BFP on poverty, health, education, and other related outcomes. METHODS: We searched for quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method articles that assessed the impact of the BFP on any aspect of the beneficiaries' lives between 2003 and March 2021. We included quantitative articles that used experimental, quasi-experimental or pre and post comparison designs. We excluded articles that analyzed impacts on political outcomes. There was no age restriction for the participants. The search was done in seven electronic databases. RESULTS: One thousand five hundred forty-six papers were identified and 94 fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Poverty and health outcomes were the most common outcomes studied. We found consistent evidence of the positive impact of the BFP on poverty reduction, as well as employment outcomes. We also found positive impacts in relation to mortality rates for children and adults, school dropout and school attendance among children and adolescents, and violence related outcomes such as homicide, suicide, crime, and hospitalization. However, we also found some evidence that BFP increased intimate partner violence and gender stereotypes among women and no evidence of impact on teenage pregnancy. CONCLUSIONS: Overall, the studies included found that BFP showed positive impacts on most poverty, health and education outcomes. More studies are needed to confirm some results, especially about violence and stereotype against women as there were few evaluations on these outcomes.

In recent years, there has been significant growth in the development of Machine Learning (ML) models across various fields, such as image and sound recognition and natural language processing. They need to be trained with a large enough data set, ensuring predictions or results are as accurate as possible. When it comes to models for audio recognition, specifically the detection of car horns, the datasets are generally not built considering the specificities of the different scenarios that may exist in real traffic, being limited to collections of random horns, whose sources are sometimes collected from audio streaming sites. There are benefits associated with a ML model trained on data tailored for horn detection. One notable advantage is the potential implementation of horn detection in smartphones and smartwatches equipped with embedded models to aid hearing-impaired individuals while driving and alert them in potentially hazardous situations, thus promoting social inclusion. Given these considerations, we developed a dataset specifically for car horns. This dataset has 1,080 one-second-long .wav audio files categorized into two classes: horn and not horn. The data collection followed a carefully established protocol designed to encompass different scenarios in a real traffic environment, considering diverse relative positions between the involved vehicles. The protocol defines ten distinct scenarios, incorporating variables within the car receiving the horn, including the presence of internal conversations, music, open or closed windows, engine status (on or off), and whether the car is stationary or in motion. Additionally, there are variations in scenarios associated with the vehicle emitting the horn, such as its relative position-behind, alongside, or in front of the receiving vehicle-and the types of horns used, which may include a short honk, a prolonged one, or a rhythmic pattern of three quick honks. The data collection process started with simultaneous audio recordings on two smartphones positioned inside the receiving vehicle, capturing all scenarios in a single audio file on each device. A 400-meter route was defined in a controlled area, so the audio recordings could be carried out safely. For each established scenario, the route was covered with emissions of different types of horns in distinct positions between the vehicles, and then the route was restarted in the next scenario. After the collection phase, the data preprocessing involved manually cutting each horn sound in multiple one-second windowing profiles, saving them in PCM stereo .wav files with a 16-bit depth and a 44.1 kHz sampling rate. For each horn clipping, a corresponding non-horn clipping in close proximity was performed, ensuring a balanced model. This dataset was designed for utilization in various machine learning algorithms, whether for detecting horns with the binary labels, or classifying different patterns of horns by rearranging labels considering the file nomenclature. In technical validation, classifications were performed using a convolutional neural network trained with spectrograms from the dataset's audio, achieving an average accuracy of 89% across 100 trained models.

En Colombia, las tasas de empleo de la población con discapacidad visual están por debajo de las de la población general; sus ingresos también tienden a ser más bajos. Orientar los procesos de inclusión laboral se dificulta por la ausencia de instrumentos adecuados que permitan caracterizar e identificar sus necesidades. Se presenta un estudio dirigido a diseñar y validar el contenido de un instrumento para la caracterización laboral y productiva de esta población. A partir de la experiencia del Instituto Nacional para Ciegos, se diseñó una primera versión que fue sometida a validación de contenido con tres expertos que evaluaron su claridad, coherencia, relevancia y suficiencia, además de aportar observaciones y sugerencias. Se realizaron dos rondas de evaluación. Se estimó el grado de concordancia de las evaluaciones con el Coeficiente Kappa de Fleiss y se consideraron los aportes para ajustar el instrumento. Se obtuvo una versión final con 47 ítems en tres dimensiones: información general, académica y laboral, y productiva. El diseño, validación e implementación del instrumento reúne esfuerzos de la academia y el Estado para caracterizar a la población con discapacidad visual en diferentes ciudades del país y aportar a la reducción de las brechas de empleo e ingresos.
In Colombia, employment rates of the visually impaired population are below those of the general population, and their income also tends to be lower. The absence of adequate instruments to characterize and identify their needs makes orienting labor inclusion processes difficult. A study aimed at designing and validating the content of an instrument for the labor and productive characterization of this population is presented. Based on the experience of the Instituto Nacional para Ciegos (National Institute for the Blind), a first version was designed and submitted for content validation by three experts who assessed its clarity, coherence, relevance, and completeness and provided comments and suggestions. Two rounds of evaluation were carried out. The degree of consistency of the evaluations was estimated with the Fleiss Kappa Coefficient. Contributions were considered to adjust the instrument. A final version was obtained with 47 items in three dimensions: general, academic and employment, and productive information. The instrument's design, validation and implementation combine the efforts of academia and the State to characterize the visually impaired population in different cities of the country and contribute to the reduction of employment and income gaps.
Na Colômbia, as taxas de emprego da população com deficiência visual são inferiores às taxas da população em geral; sua renda também tende a ser menor. A orientação dos processos de inclusão laboral é dificultada pela ausência de instrumentos adequados para caracterizar e identificar suas necessidades. Apresentamos um estudo com o objetivo de elaborar e validar o conteúdo de um instrumento para a caracterização laboral e produtiva dessa população. Com base na experiência do Instituto Nacional para Cegos, uma primeira versão foi elaborada e submetida à validação de conteúdo com três especialistas que avaliaram sua clareza, coerência, relevância e suficiência, além de fornecerem comentários e sugestões. Foram realizadas duas roda-das de avaliação. O grau de concordância das avaliações foi estimado por meio do Coeficiente Kappa de Fleiss e as contribuições foram consideradas para ajustar o instrumento. Foi obtida uma versão final com 47 itens em três dimensões: informações gerais; acadêmicas e ocupacionais; e produtivas. Epilepsy is a chronic disease characterized by recurrent epileptic seizures that can affect the perception of stigma and compromise the quality of life of those living with it. In addition, sociodemographic factors such as employment and maintaining a job, education, and the autonomy to drive vehicles are often impaired. OBJECTIVE: To assess the social inclusion of adult women with epilepsy in relation to the perception of stigma and quality of life, and the clinical aspects of the disease. METHODOLOGY: Data from 70 adult Brazilian women with epilepsy regarding aspects related to their social inclusion were verified. Such data were linked to clinical aspects and scores from the questionnaires: Quality of Life in Epilepsy Inventory 31 (QOLIE-31) and the Epilepsy Stigma Scale (ESS), with a significance level of p < 0.05. RESULTS: Average age of 45.5 years, 40 (57.1 %) women were divorced/single/widowed, 31 (44.3 %) women had less than 10 years of formal education, 32 (45.7 %) women had no income, and 57 (81.4 %) did not have a driver's license. The age at the time of the first seizure was 18 years, the seizures were focal in 46 (65.7 %) cases, and 26 (37.1 %) cases were seizure-free in the last year. A high number of women reported that the diagnosis of epilepsy negatively influenced aspects of autonomy such as the possession of a driver's license and going out alone. Longer duration of epilepsy was associated with lower education, not having children, and lower scores on the QOLIE-31. Higher scores on the QOLIE-31 were correlated with lower frequency of seizures and with the age at the time of the first seizure. Values in the dimension - energy and fatigue of the QOLIE-31 were significantly lower in the group with less independence compared to the other two groups with more independence, in latent class analyses (ANOVA, adjusted for age 42.1 ± 35.6 vs 57.2 ± 28.4 vs 73.9 ± 23.8, p = 0.0295). DISCUSSION: Clinical aspects of epilepsy and having a partner, autonomy, and independence such as driving vehicles are factors that contribute to social inclusion and to the perception of a better quality of life for adult women with epilepsy. CONCLUSION: It was observed that having a partner, autonomy, and independence such as driving vehicles are factors that contribute to social inclusion and to the perception of a better quality of life for adult women with epilepsy.

OBJETIVO: Este estudo teve como objetivo propor um modelo cognitivo/explicativo que represente as mudanças que podem ser incorporadas à vida de jovens de baixa renda, a partir de sua primeira experiência de emprego formal. MÉTODO: A amostra do estudo foi composta por 25 jovens beneficiários do Programa Primeiro Emprego/BA, que participaram de grupos focais on-line. Para a análise, as falas foram inicialmente categorizadas por meio da análise de conteúdo temática e, em seguida, visando uma sistematização e o estabelecimento de uma relação entre as categorias adotadas, foi utilizada a técnica do mapeamento cognitivo. RESULTADOS: A partir da análise das falas dos jovens, foram identificados 29 núcleos de sentidos, distribuídos em torno da tríade indivíduo- trabalho-sociedade. Entre as mudanças pessoais percebidas, destacam-se a valorização e o crescimento pessoal, assim como questões financeiras. Nas mudanças laborais, o aumento da empregabilidade como resultado da maior qualificação profissional e das novas habilidades técnicas adquiridas foi amplamente citado. Por fim, no que diz respeito às mudanças sociais, a percepção de alteração do status social ficou evidente. A maioria das mudanças observadas foram positivas e indicaram um aumento na qualidade de vida dos jovens de baixa renda. CONCLUSÃO: Conclui-se, portanto, que para uma modificação dos padrões de reprodução da força de trabalho juvenil, baseados na precarização e na subalternidade, é necessária uma transformação da realidade laboral dos seus atores.
OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to propose a cognitive/explanatory model that represents the changes that can be incorporated into the lives of low-income young people, from their first experience of formal employment. METHOD: The study sample consisted of 25 young beneficiaries of the First Employment Program/ BA, who participated in online focus groups. For the analysis, the speeches were initially categorized through thematic content analysis and, then, aiming at systematization and the establishment of a relationship between the adopted categories, the cognitive mapping technique was used. RESULTS: Based on the analysis of the young people's statements, 29 nuclei of meanings were identified, and distributed around the individual-work-society triad. Among the perceived personal changes, valorization and personal growth stand out, as well as financial issues. In terms of job changes, the increase in employability as a result of higher professional qualifications and new technical skills acquired was widely cited. Finally, with regard to social changes, the perception of change in social status was evident. Most of the changes observed were positive and indicated an increase in the quality of life of low-income youth. CONCLUSION: It is concluded, therefore, that for a change in the system, a transformation of the work reality of its actors is necessary.
OBJETIVO: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo proponer un modelo cognitivo/explicativo que represente los cambios que pueden incorporarse en la vida de jóvenes de bajos ingresos, a partir de su primera experiencia de empleo formal. MÉTODO: La muestra del estudio estuvo compuesta por 25 jóvenes beneficiarios del Programa Primeiro Emprego/BA, que participaron de grupos focales en línea. Para el análisis, los enunciados fueron inicialmente categorizados a través del análisis de contenido temático y luego, con el objetivo de sistematizar y establecer una relación entre las categorías adoptadas se utilizó la técnica del mapeo cognitivo. RESULTADOS: A partir del análisis de los enunciados de los jóvenes, se identificaron 29 centros de significado, distribuidos en torno a la tríada individuo-trabajo-sociedad. Entre los cambios personales percibidos se destacan la apreciación y el crecimiento personal, así como las cuestiones financieras. En los cambios laborales se citó ampliamente el aumento de la empleabilidad como consecuencia de una mayor cualificación profesional y de nuevas competencias técnicas adquiridas. Finalmente, en lo que respecta a los cambios sociales, se hizo evidente la percepción de cambios en el estatus social. La mayoría de los cambios observados fueron positivos e indicaron un aumento en la calidad de vida de los jóvenes de bajos ingresos. CONCLUSIÓN: Se concluye, por tanto, que para modificar los patrones de reproducción de la fuerza laboral juvenil, basados en la precariedad y la subalternidad, es necesaria una transformación de la realidad laboral de sus actores.

Introducción: la educación inclusiva constituye actualmente una preocupación para investigadores, docentes, organizaciones internacionales, regionales y nacionales, aunque la toma de conciencia sobre la necesidad de concretar escenarios escolares y sociales inclusivos, ha sido un proceso lento; a pesar de los ingentes esfuerzos de autores reconocidos, instituciones comprometidas y experiencias exitosas, no se generalizan sus resultados, de ahí las motivaciones para la realización de este estudio. Objetivo: actualizar concepciones teóricas sobre la educación inclusiva y su incidencia en un modelo educativo inclusivo contemporáneo. Métodos: se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura disponible en sitios web y revistas especializadas, así como artículos compartidos en redes sociales académicas y públicas durante los últimos cinco años, en español e inglés. Se realizó la revisión detallada de autores y la actualización de las referencias bibliográficas utilizadas. Resultados: la educación inclusiva necesita una relación con la propia familia, con una escuela que integre e incluya para lograr una sociedad, un estado y gobierno que no solo vean a su población por lo que les separa y diferencia, sino por lo que les une en la diversidad, mediante aulas inclusivas y un currículo moderno. Conclusiones: ante los retos que se le imponen a la educación frente al panorama mundial, caracterizado por la exclusión social de índole diversa, entre ellos, la desmotivación con los currículos que se ofrecen a los estudiantes, los sistemas educativos se enfrentan a una urgencia: ofrecer una educación de calidad e inclusiva, en atención a la diversidad.
Introduction: inclusive education is currently a concern for researchers, teachers, international, regional, and national organizations, although raising awareness about the need to create inclusive school and social scenarios has been a slow process; despite the enormous efforts of recognized authors, committed institutions and successful experiences, their results are not generalized, hence the motivations for carrying out this study. Objective: update theoretical conceptions about inclusive education and its impact on a contemporary inclusive educational model. Methods: a systematic review of the literature available on websites and specialized journals, as well as articles shared on academic and public social networks over the last five years, in Spanish and English, was carried out. A detailed review of authors and updating of the bibliographic references used was carried out. Results: inclusive education needs a relationship with one's own family, with a school that integrates and includes to achieve a society, a state and government that not only see its population, so it separates and differentiates them, but even though it unites them in diversity, through inclusive classrooms and a modern curriculum. Conclusions: according to the challenges imposed on education in front of the global panorama, characterized by social exclusion of various kinds, including demotivation with the curricula offered to students, educational systems face an urgency: offer quality and inclusive education, in attention to diversity.

RESUMEN Desde finales del siglo XX los debates sobre la inclusión social y educativa han crecido al calor de la puesta en acto de políticas y prácticas tejidas entre procesos excluyentes. En este trabajo y en diálogo con la Red Charting Inclusive Education Geographies, presentamos elementos para una cartografía de la inclusión en escuelas públicas de gestión estatal de la Región Metropolitana de Buenos Aires, Argentina. La perspectiva cartográfica asumida desde una mirada interseccional permite una aproximación a las dinámicas de inclusión que no se presentan como homogéneas sino, más bien, multilineales y yuxtapuestas. A modo de hipótesis sostenemos que las dinámicas de inclusión involucran fuerzas centrífugas asociadas con la sedimentación de la exclusión y centrípetas que pujan por el acceso al saber y la escuela. Nos referimos a fuerzas que permiten comprender los efectos rebote que atraviesa la inclusión e involucran grandes líneas molares del poder y sus micro detalles.
ABSTRACT Since the end of the 20th century, debates on social and educational inclusion have grown in the heat of the implementation of policies and practices interwoven with processes of exclusion. In this work, and in dialogue with the Charting Inclusive Education Geographies Network, we present elements for a cartography of inclusion in public schools in the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The cartographic perspective, adopted from an intersectional point of view, allows an approach to the dynamics of inclusion that are not presented as homogeneous, but rather multilinear and juxtaposed. We hypothesize that the dynamics of inclusion involve centrifugal forces associated with the sedimentation of exclusion and centripetal forces that push for access to knowledge and schooling. We are referring to forces that allow us to understand the rebound effect that inclusion undergoes, involving large molar lines of power and its micro details.

Dentro de 30 anos, duas de cada cinco pessoas serão maiores de 60 anos e mais de 80% dessas pessoas viverão em países com rendas econômicas médias e baixas, por isso é urgente que esses países implementem políticas para reverter essa situação. Este estudo teve como propósito identificar o impacto da qualidade de vida dos programas sociais nos idosos em condição de extrema pobreza. Este estudo foi do tipo explicativo-transversal, trabalhando com 634 idosos entre 66 e 97 anos, nas províncias de: San Román, Puno e Azángaro na região de Puno. A escala de Fumat foi construída para avaliar a qualidade de vida, seguida pela análise de regressão linear múltipla com um nível de significância menor que 0,05. Os resultados indicaram que o Sistema Integral de Saúde é o programa social que mais contribui na qualidade de vida (ß = 0,341; p < 0,001) em comparação com os programas sociais: Fundo Energético para a Inclusão Social (ß = 0,024; p < 0,05) e o programa Penção 65 (ß = 0,018; p < 0,05). Manter uma boa qualidade de vida e uma boa saúde na idade adulta é decisivo para desfrutar de uma vida plena e satisfatória.
Within 30 years, two out of every five people will be over 60 years old and more than 80% of these people will live in countries with medium and low economic incomes, so it is urgent that these countries implement policies to reverse this situation. This study aimed to identify the impact of social programs on the quality of life of elderly people living in extreme poverty. This study was explanatory-cross-sectional, working with 634 elderly people between 66 and 97 years old, in the provinces of: San Román, Puno and Azángaro in the Puno region. The Fumat scale was constructed to assess quality of life, followed by multiple linear regression analysis with a significance level lower than 0.05. The results indicated that the Comprehensive Health System is the social program that contributes most to quality of life (ß = 0.341; p < 0.001) compared to the social programs: Social Inclusion Energy Fund (ß = 0.024; p < 0 .05) and the Pensión 65 program (ß = 0.018; p < 0.05). Maintaining a good quality of life and good health in adulthood is decisive for enjoying a full and satisfying life.

ABSTRACT
Este artigo tem como objetivo descrever as experiências de comunicação sobre saúde, desenvolvidas com comunidades quilombolas na Amazônia, através de mídias sociais durante a pandemia de covid-19. A disseminação de mensagens educativas foi uma das alternativas utilizadas pelas organizações quilombolas e por seus parceiros, para proporcionar informação e orientação sobre saúde. São apresentadas experiências acumuladas a partir das ações desenvolvidas por voluntários, no período de 2020 a 2022. Entre as mídias digitais e as estratégias utilizadas, destacam-se os cards digitais produzidos e distribuídos, principalmente, por meio do aplicativo de mensagens WhatsApp. Refletimos sobre a importância do uso das mídias sociais como instrumentos de comunicação educacional para a promoção da saúde e prevenção da covid-19, em uma era tecnológica que potencializa trocas intensas de informações e conhecimentos. This article aims to describe the health communication experiences developed with quilombola commu-nities in the Amazonia through social media in the covid-19 pandemic. The dissemination of educational messages was one of the alternatives used by quilombola organizations and their partners to provide health information and guidance. Accumulated experiences are presented based on the actions carried out by volunteers in the period from 2020 to 2022. Among the digital media and strategies used, most important are the digital cards produced and distributed mainly through the WhatsApp Messenger. We reflect on the importance of using social media as educational communication tools for health promotion and prevention of covid-19, in a technological era that intensifies intense exchanges of information and knowledge. In the case approached here, health education through social/digital media proved to be an essential tool for minimizing the impacts of covid-19 on the quilombola population
Este artículo tiene como objetivo describir las experiencias de comunicación en salud desarrolladas con comunidades quilombolas de la Amazonia a través de las redes sociales durante la pandemia de covid-19. La difusión de mensajes educativos fue una de las alternativas utilizadas por las organizaciones quilombolas y por sus aliados para proporcionar información y orientación sobre salud. Se presentam experiencias acumuladas a partir de las acciones desarrolladas por voluntarios en el periodo de 2020 a 2022. Entre los medios digitales y estrategias utilizados, se destacan las tarjetas digitales producidas y distribuidas principalmente a través de la aplicación de mensajería WhatsApp. Reflexionamos sobre la importancia de utilizar los medios sociales como herramientas de comunicación educativa para la promoción de la salud y la prevención de la covid-19, en una era tecnológica que potencia intensos intercambios de información y conocimiento. En el caso relatado, la educación para la salud a través de medios sociales/digitales demostró ser una herramienta esencial para minimizar los impactos de la covid-19 en la población quilombola

Introducción: Experiencia de una comunidad de barrio capitalino (Asunción-Paraguay), movilizada por la grabación de un corto documental a cargo de estudiantes de cinematografía, que inician un proceso de participación para mejorar la calidad de vida de una persona con trastornos mentales y discapacidad psicosocial en situación de calle, logrando su inclusión social. Objetivo : Identificar los elementos claves que favorecieron la participación comunitaria, derivando en el proceso de reinserción social de una persona con trastorno mental y discapacidad psicosocial para contribuir con estrategias innovadoras de modelos de atención basados en la comunidad con enfoque de derechos humanos. Materiales y métodos: Estudio cualitativo de diseño narrativo, utilizando datos de la historia de una persona y la experiencia de una comunidad para describir, analizar e identificar elementos que se consideran claves para los resultados logrados. La experiencia comunitaria fue observada y registrada de cerca durante más de 4 años. Resultado: Participación comunitaria activa en torno a un objetivo colectivo impulsado por un proyecto cinematográfico logrando la reinserción social de una persona con trastorno mental o discapacidad psicosocial que se encontraba en situación de calle. Conclusión : El cine o arte generan un impacto emocional y sensibilizador que acompañados con estrategias sostenibles; facilitación, tecnología, recursos económicos, lugares de residencia o acogida, acompañamiento; permiten aprovechar y movilizar recursos comunitarios, con participación y enfoque de derechos humanos. El resultado en este caso es la inclusión social de una persona con trastornos mentales y discapacidad psicosocial, que se encontraba en el extremo de exclusión social: vida en calle por más de 20 años.
Introduction : Experience of a community from a neighborhood of the Capital City (Asunción-Paraguay), mobilized by the recording of a Short Documentary by cinematography students, who begin a process of participation to improve the quality of life of a person with mental disorders and psychosocial disabilities who are homeless, achieving their social inclusion. Objective : Identify the key elements that allowed community participation and the social reintegration process of a person with a mental disorder or psychosocial disability to contribute with innovative strategies of community-based care models with a human rights approach. Materials and Methods : A qualitative type study of narrative design, using data from a person's story and the experience of a community to describe, analyze and identify the key elements to the results achieved. The community experience was closely observed and recorded for more than 4 years. Results : active community participation around a collective objective driven by a film project, achieving the reintegration and social rehabilitation of a person with mental disorder who was in street situation. Conclusion : Cinema or art generates an emotional and sensitizing impact that, accompanied by sustainable strategies; facilitation, technology, economic resources, places of residence or reception, support; allows taking advantage of and mobilizing community resources, with participation and a human rights approach. The result in this case is the social inclusion of a person with mental disorders or psychosocial disabilities who was at the extreme of social exclusion; street life for more than 20 years.

Abstract Several studies have shown that, in the school setting, speech-language therapy has a significant impact on the detection, promotion and approach to the processes inherent to human communication as a basis for learning, participation, and inclusion. Despite this, recent regulations on education in Colombia do not clearly define the work of these health professionals in this scenario. Considering the above, the objective of this paper was to present a critical analysis of the role of speech-language pathologists in the context of inclusive education in Colombia. The first part of this article analyzes the problems regarding the denomination of speech-language pathology and the relevance of its functions. Then, the role of these professionals in the educational setting is addressed. Finally, some actions are proposed to vindicate the role of speech-language pathologists in equity and inclusion in education in terms of the elimination of environmental barriers and the strengthening of capacities according to the individual characteristics of students.
Resumen Varios estudios han mostrado que, en el escenario escolar, la fonoaudiologia tiene un impacto significativo en la detección, la promoción y el abordaje de los procesos inherentes a la comunicación humana como base para el aprendizaje, la participación y la inclusión. A pesar de esto, las disposiciones normativas recientes en Colombia no definen claramente el quehacer de este profesional en este escenario. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, el objetivo de este artículo fue presentar un análisis crítico sobre el papel del fonoaudiólogo en el contexto de la educación inclusiva en Colombia. En la primera parte del presente artículo se analizan los problemas en la denominación de la fonoaudiología y la pertinencia de sus funciones. Luego, se aborda el rol de este profesional en el contexto educativo. En la última parte se proponen algunas acciones para reivindicar el rol de los fonoaudiólogos en la inclusión y la equidad en la educación en términos de la eliminación de barreras del entorno y el fortalecimiento de capacidades de acuerdo con las particularidades de los estudiantes.

Abstract This article examines the discursive approach adopted by Radio Nikosia, highlighting its crucial role in the recovery of people diagnosed with severe mental illness. It examines how putting social representations aside has enabled Radio Nikosia to render agency to these social actors, acknowledging their capacity to construct, reconstruct and change their own identities. The geographic scope of the study comprises the Autonomous Community of Catalonia while the methodology followed is qualitative in nature, analysing programme audio and transcription, reports, academic articles, theses, and a participant interview. The aim of the analysis is to examine the significance of discursive practices in Radio Nikosia in modifying the permanence of identities anchored in severe mental illness. The results illustrate the practical use of radio as a powerful tool that both promotes social inclusion and impacts mental illness identity.
Resumo Este artigo examina a abordagem discursiva adotada pela Rádio Nikosia, destacando seu papel crucial na recuperação de pessoas diagnosticadas com doença mental grave. Examina como deixar de lado as representações sociais permitiu à Rádio Nikosia dar agência a esses atores sociais, reconhecendo sua capacidade de construir, reconstruir e mudar suas próprias identidades. O escopo geográfico do estudo compreende a Comunidade Autônoma da Catalunha, enquanto a metodologia seguida é de natureza qualitativa, analisando áudio e transcrição do programa, relatórios, artigos acadêmicos, teses e entrevista participante. O objetivo da análise é examinar o significado das práticas discursivas da Rádio Nikosia na modificação da permanência de identidades ancoradas na doença mental grave. Os resultados ilustram o uso prático do rádio como uma ferramenta poderosa que promove a inclusão social e impacta a identidade da doença mental.
ABSTRACT
This research aimed to understand the role of after-school sports programs in social inclusion processes in culturally diverse contexts through a multicase study within two locations. The first location was in Spain where immigrant and Spanish students were enrolled, and the other was in Chile with Mapuche-Huilliche students, immigrant and Chilean students. The implemented programs at both sites were similar in their educational focus on socio-educational values, and teaching models (hybridization of teaching games for understanding and cooperative learning) that enhance social inclusion. Using individual and group interviews with teachers, sports coordinators, parents, and students, a qualitative approach was used to identify the factors that facilitate or hinder the social inclusion processes. In addition, the researchers used qualitative observations of the programs over six months using "notes logbook" to record their impressions during the observation process. Results indicated that the implemented sports programs successfully facilitated social inclusion processes, enabling the development of interpersonal skills and relationships between students from different cultural backgrounds. The previous training and experiences of teachers in culturally diverse contexts, and incorporation of traditional sporting games from all cultures, seems to be an important facilitator factor for the inclusion potential of the implemented programs.

Las normativas legales peruanas como es la Ley 29973, busca la promoción, protección de las personas con discapacidad en el ámbito laboral logrando así el desarrollo, igualdad e inclusión social, política que actualmente aplicado en las instituciones públicas ni privadas en Perú. Objetivo. Analizar la influencia de la discapacidad física en la inserción laboral en Perú. Materiales y Métodos. La metodología que se utilizó estuvo enmarcada en el enfoque cuantitativo, el tipo de investigación fue básica causal explicativo, el método hipotético deductivo, el diseño de la investigación fue no experimental de corte transeccional. La población fue de 61 usuarios, la técnica utilizada para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario, los datos se analizaron mediante el software estadístico SPSS. El procesamiento estadístico fue no paramétrico de Chi-Cuadrada. Resultados. Como resultado de la investigación fue que el 31,1% de los usuarios manifestaron que no están insertados en el mercado laboral ya que la discapacidad física que poseen es de tipo paraplejia, es decir, que, ambas piernas carecen de movilidad lo cual es una restricción para su desarrollo y dificulta su integración en el mercado laboral. Conclusiones. La discapacidad influye significativamente en la inserción laboral de los usuarios de la Oficina Municipal de Atención a las Personas con Discapacidad.
Peruvian legal regulations such as Law 29973, seeks the promotion and protection of people with disabilities in the workplace, thus achieving development, equality and social inclusion, a policy that is currently applied in public and private institutions in Peru. Objective. To analyze the influence of physical disability on labor market insertion in Peru. Materials and Methods. The methodology used was framed in the quantitative approach, the type of research was basic causal explanatory, the method was hypothetical deductive, the research design was non-experimental of transectional cut. The population consisted of 61 users, the technique used for data collection was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire; the data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software. The statistical processing was nonparametric Chi-Square. Results. As a result of the research, 31.1% of the users stated that they are not inserted in the labor market since the physical disability they have is paraplegia, that is, both legs lack mobility, which is a restriction for their development and hinders their integration in the labor market. Conclusions. Disability has a significant influence on the labor market insertion of the users of the Municipal Office of Attention to People with Disabilities.
As normas legais peruanas, como a Lei 29973, buscam a promoção e a proteção de pessoas com deficiência no local de trabalho, alcançando assim o desenvolvimento, a igualdade e a inclusão social, uma política que atualmente é aplicada em instituições públicas e privadas no Peru. Objetivo. Analisar a influência da deficiência física na inserção laboral no Peru. Materiais e métodos. A metodologia utilizada foi enquadrada no enfoque quantitativo, o tipo de pesquisa foi causal explicativa básica, o método foi hipotético dedutivo, o desenho da pesquisa foi de corte transeccional não experimental. A população foi de 61 usuários, a técnica utilizada para a coleta de dados foi a pesquisa e como instrumento o questionário, os dados foram analisados com o uso do software estatístico SPSS. O processamento estatístico foi o qui-quadrado não paramétrico. Resultados. Como resultado da pesquisa, 31,1% dos usuários afirmaram que não estão inseridos no mercado de trabalho porque a deficiência física que possuem é a paraplegia, ou seja, falta mobilidade nas duas pernas, o que é uma restrição para o seu desenvolvimento e dificulta a sua integração no mercado de trabalho. Conclusões. A deficiência tem uma influência significativa na inserção no mercado de trabalho dos usuários da Secretaria Municipal de Atenção às Pessoas com Deficiência.

O uso das TICs tem sido considerada uma habilidade essencial para viver em sociedade. O objetivo deste trabalho é apontar aspectos relacionados ao processo de inclusão digital e as suas implicações para a inclusão social no Brasil, levando em consideração a população mais velha. Para isso, abordamos, historicamente, como se deu a implementação das políticas públicas no Brasil utilizadas para combater a exclusão digital com ênfase em como esse percurso vem incorporando ou não os idosos. Como resultado, embora existam políticas públicas cujo objetivo é reduzir o fosso digital que separa os que usam as tecnologias dos que não usam, os cidadãos mais velhos continuam, em grande medida, sendo ignorados.(AU)
The use of ICT has been considered an essential ability to live in society. The objective of this study is to point out aspects related to the process of digital inclusion and its implications for social inclusion in Brazil considering the older population. To this end, we have approached, historically, how the implementation of public policies in Brazil aimed at combating digital exclusion has taken place with an emphasis on how this path has incorporated or not the elderly. As a result, while there are public policies aimed at reducing the digital divide between those who use of those who do not use technology, older citizens continue to be largely ignored.(AU)

Resumo A Tecnologia Assistiva é pouco disseminada no Brasil. Avanços têm ocorrido gradativamente por meio de conquistas na área jurídica e do fomento à pesquisa e desenvolvimento. A proposição de políticas nessa área pode contribuir para superar as desigualdades sociais de um significativo segmento da população que representa um mercado real e em expansão. No entanto, a baixa otimização desses recursos por seus usuários e a dificuldade em buscá-los no mercado e nos órgãos públicos são fatores preocupantes. Este estudo vem, portanto, abordar a repercussão da demanda por Tecnologia Assistiva nas políticas públicas brasileiras com o objetivo identificar a relação existente entre a otimização desses recursos e serviços e a formulação de políticas direcionadas no país. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, com característica exploratória e abordagem qualitativa, foi realizado um levantamento da legislação brasileira e ações existentes na área da Tecnologia Assistiva, bem como a análise de políticas públicas brasileiras com base nos critérios da avaliação normativa, aplicando-se o método dedutivo e a técnica de análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Verificou-se na literatura científica que, apesar do avanço gradativo da legislação e das iniciativas de fomento a projetos nessa área, fatores de entrave ao acesso, utilização e aproveitamento dos produtos assistivos, como a escassez na oferta de tecnologias inovadoras, acarretam dificuldades para a formatação de políticas eficazes e a configuração adequada às ações de fomento na área de Tecnologia Assistiva - essenciais ao processo de inclusão social.
Abstract Assistive Technology is not widespread in Brazil. Advances have occurred gradually through achievements in the legal area and the promotion of research and development. The proposition of policies in this area can contribute to overcoming the social inequalities of a significant segment of the population that represents a real and expanding market. However, the low optimization of these resources by their users and the difficulty in finding them in the market and public agencies are worrying factors. This study addresses the impact of the demand for Assistive Technology on Brazilian public policies aiming to identify the relationship between the optimization of these resources and services and the formulation of targeted policies in the country. Through bibliographic, exploratory and qualitative research, a survey was conducted on the Brazilian legislation and the existing actions in the area of Assistive Technology, as well as an analysis of Brazilian public policies based on the normative evaluation criteria, applying the deductive method and the Bardin's content analysis technique. The scientific literature shows that, despite the gradual advancement in legislation and initiatives to promote projects in this area, factors that hinder the access, use, and application of assistive products, such as the scarcity of innovative technologies, entail difficulties for the formatting of effective policies and the adequate configuration of fostering actions in the area of Assistive Technology, which is essential to the process of social inclusion.

Resumo Objetivo Identificar os conceitos e perspectivas teóricas que fundamentam os estudos sobre Cidade Amiga da Pessoa Idosa. Métodos Revisão de escopo utilizando seis bancos de dados para identificar estudos publicados em revistas indexadas entre 2007 e 2021 usando as palavras-chave 'age-friendly' OR 'age friendly' OR 'cidade amiga'. Resultados Foram encontrados 2.975 estudos que após aplicação de critérios de exclusão resultaram em 227. Observou-se ampla variação no conceito do termo, porém muitos autores o fizeram replicando a OMS, sendo que em 59,5% dos estudos não houve menção de nenhuma perspectiva teórica. A teoria ecológica foi o referencial mais frequente (26%), sendo o termo usado como um equivalente a envelhecimento ativo. Autores de quatro países respondem pela maioria dos artigos (61%). Conclusão É necessário articular o conceito de Cidade Amiga da Pessoa Idosa com uma abordagem teórica e cultural para compreender mais profundamente as perspectivas do urbano e do social sob a lógica do envelhecimento populacional principalmente para a América Latina. A análise teórica nestes estudos e na gerontologia favorecerão discussões mais críticas sobre o envelhecimento, o idadismo e a crescente desigualdade social em curso.

Resultados Se encontraron 2975 estudios que, luego de aplicar los criterios de exclusión, quedaron 227. Se observó una amplia variación del concepto del término, aunque muchos autores replicaron a la OMS. En el 59,5 % de los estudios no se mencionó ninguna perspectiva teórica. La teoría ecológica fue la referencia más frecuente (26 %), y el término se usó como un equivalente al envejecimiento activo. La mayoría de los artículos (61 %) son de autores de cuatro países. Conclusión Es necesario unir el concepto de Cuidades Amigables con las Personas Mayores con un enfoque teórico y cultural para comprender más profundamente las perspectivas de lo urbano y lo social de acuerdo con la lógica del envejecimiento poblacional, principalmente en América Latina. El análisis teórico en estos estudios y en la gerontología permitirán discusiones más críticas sobre el envejecimiento, el edadismo y la creciente desigualdad social en curso.
Abstract Objective To identify the concepts and theoretical perspectives that underlie studies on age-friendly city. Methods This is a scoping review using six databases to identify studies published in indexed journals between 2007 and 2021 using the keywords 'age-friendly' OR 'age friendly' OR 'cidade amiga'. Results A total of 2,975 studies were found, which, after applying the exclusion criteria, resulted in 227. There was wide variation in the concept of the term, but many authors did so by replicating the WHO, and in 59.5% of studies there was no mention of any theoretical perspective. The ecological theory was the most frequent reference (26%), the term being used as an equivalent to active aging. Authors from four countries account for most articles (61%). Conclusion It is necessary to articulate the concept of age-friendly city with a theoretical and cultural approach to understand more deeply the urban and social perspectives under the logic of population aging, mainly for Latin America. Theoretical analysis in these studies and in gerontology will favor more critical discussions about aging, ageism and the growing social inequality in progress.

Os debates sobre o acolhimento das diversidades e a inclusão de grupos populacionais em maior situação de vulnerabilidade na área da saúde têm sido crescentes em âmbito nacional e internacional. No Brasil, a trajetória da Nutrição Inclusiva foi impulsionada no início na década de 2000, e atualmente é definida como a forma de exercer a profissão na qual o nutricionista utiliza todos os recursos disponíveis para promover a inclusão, a saúde e a segurança alimentar e nutricional de pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade, por meio de ações oportunas e ajustadas às singularidades desses sujeitos, tendo como base o acolhimento, o respeito à diversidade, a acessibilidade e o estímulo à autonomia. Atravessa todas as áreas de atuação e cenários de prática do nutricionista, com foco na produção de novos modos de cuidar e novas formas de organizar o trabalho que visem à segurança alimentar e nutricional e à justiça social. Assim, os saberes que vêm sendo construídos nessa direção devem ser incorporados pelo profissional desde a sua formação até a sua prática cotidiana, visando beneficiar direta e/ou indiretamente a saúde e a nutrição dos grupos populacionais em maior situação de vulnerabilidade.
Debates on embracing diversity and the inclusion of more vulnerable populations in the health area have been growing at the national and international levels. In Brazil, the trajectory of Inclusive Nutrition was pushed forward at the beginning of the 2000s and is currently defined as a practice in which the nutritionist uses all available resources to promote inclusion, health, food safety, and nutrition of vulnerable populations through timely actions adjusted to their singularities, based on acceptance, respect for diversity, accessibility, and encouragement of autonomy. It extends over all the areas of action and practice of the nutritionist, focusing on the production of new ways of caring and of organizing work aimed at food and nutritional security and social justice. Thus, the knowledge that has been built in this direction must be incorporated by professionals, from their training to their daily practice, aiming to directly and/or indirectly benefit the health and nutrition of vulnerable populations.
