ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION: Increasing numbers of ambulance calls, vacant positions and growing workloads in Emergency Medicine (EM) are increasing the pressure to find adequate solutions. With telemedicine providing health-care services by bridging large distances, connecting remote providers and even patients while using modern communication technologies, such a technology seems beneficial. As the process of developing an optimal solution is challenging, a need to quantify involved processes could improve implementation. Existing models are based on qualitative studies although standardised questionnaires for factors such as Usability, Acceptability and Effectiveness exist. METHODS: A survey was provided to participants within a German county. It was based on telemedical surveys, the System Usabilty Scale (SUS) and earlier works describing Usability, Acceptability and Effectiveness. Meanwhile a telemedical system was introduced in the investigated county. A comparison between user-groups aswell as an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed. RESULTS: Of n = 91 included participants n = 73 (80,2%) were qualified as emergency medical staff (including paramedics n = 36 (39,56%), EMTs n = 28 (30,77%), call handlers n = 9 (9,89%)) and n = 18 (19,8%) as emergency physicians. Most participants approved that telemedicine positively impacts EM and improved treatment options with an overall Usabilty Score of 68,68. EFA provided a 3-factor solution involving Usability, Acceptability and Effectiveness. DISCUSSION: With our results being comparable to earlier studies but telemedicine only having being sparsely introduced, a positive attitude could still be attested. While our model describes 51,28% of the underlying factors, more research is needed to identify further influences. We showed that Usability is correlated with Acceptability (strong effect), Usability and Effectiveness with a medium effect, likewise Acceptability and Effectiveness. Therefore available systems need to improve. Our approach can be a guide for decision makers and developers, that a focus during implementation must be on improving usability and on a valid data driven implementation process.

We are in the era of Health 4.0 when novel technologies are providing tools capable of improving the quality and safety of the services provided. Our project involves the integration of different technologies (AI, big data, robotics, and telemedicine) to create a unique system for patients admitted to intensive care units suffering from infectious diseases capable of both increasing the personalization of care and ensuring a safer environment for caregivers.

Background: In recent years, the integration of mobile health (m-Health) interventions has garnered increasing attention as a potential means to improve blood pressure (BP) management in adults. This updated systematic review with meta-analysis aimed to identify the effect of m-Health-based interventions on BP in adults and to evaluate the effect of m-Health on BP according to the characteristics of subjects, interventions, and countries. Methods: The search was carried out in PubMed, Embase, ResearchGate, and Cochrane databases in January 2022. Study selection and data extraction were performed by two independent reviewers. For analysis, random effects models were used with a confidence interval (CI) of 95% and p < 0.05. Results: Fifty studies were included in this review and in the meta-analysis. Interventions with m-Health reduced systolic BP in 3.5 mmHg (95% CI -4.3; -2.7; p < 0.001; I2 = 85.8%) and diastolic BP in 1.8 mmHg (95% CI -2.3; -1.4; p < 0.001; I2 = 78.9%) compared to usual care. The effects of m-Health interventions on BP were more evident in men and in older adults, in interventions lasting 6-8 weeks, with medication reminders, with the possibility of insertion of BP values (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study support the effectiveness of m-Health in reducing BP when compared to standard care. However, these effects are dependent on the characteristics of the subjects and interventions. Given the substantial heterogeneity among the results of this systematic review with meta-analysis, its interpretation should be cautious. Future research on this topic is warranted.

ABSTRACT

Background: People with rare neurological diseases (RNDs) often experience symptoms related to movement disorders, requiring a multidisciplinary approach, including rehabilitation. Telemedicine applied to rehabilitation and symptom monitoring may be suitable to ensure treatment consistency and personalized intervention. The objective of this scoping review aimed to emphasize the potential role of telerehabilitation and teleassessment in managing movement disorders within RNDs. By providing a systematic overview of the available literature, we sought to highlight potential interventions, outcomes, and critical issues. Methods: A literature search was conducted on PubMed, Google Scholar, IEEE, and Scopus up to March 2024. Two inclusion criteria were followed: (1) papers focusing on telerehabilitation and teleassessment and (2) papers dealing with movement disorders in RNDs. Results: Eighteen papers fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The main interventions were home-based software and training programs, exergames, wearable sensors, smartphone applications, virtual reality and digital music players for telerehabilitation; wearable sensors, mobile applications, and patient home video for teleassessment. Key findings revealed positive outcomes in gait, balance, limb disability, and in remote monitoring. Limitations include small sample sizes, short intervention durations, and the lack of standardized protocols. Conclusion: This review highlighted the potential of telerehabilitation and teleassessment in addressing movement disorders within RNDs. Data indicate that these modalities may play a major role in supporting conventional programs. Addressing limitations through multicenter studies, longer-term follow-ups, and standardized protocols is essential. These measures are essential for improving remote rehabilitation and assessment, contributing to an improved quality of life for people with RNDs.

Background: Our institution implemented acute-care obstetric (OB) telemedicine (TeleOB) to address rural disparities across our health system. We sought to determine whether in situ simulations with embedded TeleOB consultation increase participants' comfort managing OB emergencies and comfort with and likelihood of using TeleOB. Methods: Rural site care teams participated in multidisciplinary in situ OB emergency simulations. Physicians in OB and neonatology at the referral center assisted via telemedicine consultation. Participants were surveyed before and after the simulations and six months later regarding their experience during the simulations. Results: Participants reported increased comfort with TeleOB activation, indications, and workflow processes, as well as increased comfort managing OB emergencies. Participants also reported significantly increased likelihood of using TeleOB in the future. Conclusions: Consistent with previous work, in situ simulation with embedded telemedicine consultations is an effective approach to facilitate telemedicine implementation and promote use by rural clinicians.

Background: After-hours telemedicine services for emergency care are thought to offer a solution for patients who live at a distance from traditional face-to-face emergency services. This study evaluates such a service in a Health Maintenance Organization, focusing on the differences between central and peripheral populations. Methods: In this cross-sectional database study, we collected data regarding the encounter and patient characteristics, including prescriptions, referrals for further evaluation in a traditional emergency department (ED), and the distance from a traditional ED. Other outcome measures included health care utilization after the encounter such as primary care physician (PCP) encounters, additional telemedicine encounters, ED visits, and hospitalization. Results: In total, 45,411 patient visits were analyzed. Medication was prescribed in 25% of the encounters, and a referral to an ED was given in 22%. In total, 17.7% of the patients visited an ED within 24 h of the index encounter. In total, 64.8% of patients visited a PCP in the following 30 days. No further care was needed in 32.4% of the encounters. In multivariable logistic regression, the odds of using the service were lower for low socio-economic status groups and inhabitants of the periphery than the central areas. A weak reverse correlation was observed in Jewish sectors regarding distance from traditional ED, whereas no correlation was found in the Arab sector. Conclusion: It is commonly believed that telemedicine overcomes geographical barriers. The results of this research do not support this hypothesis.

Background: Mobile health (mHealth) has an emerging potential for remote assessment of traumatic dental injuries (TDI) and support of emergency care. This study aimed to determine the diagnostic accuracy of TDI detection from smartphone-acquired photographs. Methods: The upper and lower anterior teeth of 153 individuals aged ≥ 6 years were photographed using a smartphone camera app. The photos of 148 eligible participants were reviewed independently by a dental specialist, two general dentists, and two dental therapists, using predetermined TDI classification and criteria. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and inter-rater reliability were estimated to evaluate the diagnostic performance of the photographic method relative to the reference standard established by the dental specialist. Results: Of the 1,870 teeth screened, one-third showed TDI; and one-seventh of the participants had primary or mixed dentitions. Compared between the specialist's reference standard and four dental professionals' reviews, the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity for TDI versus non-TDI were 59-95% and 47-93%, respectively, with better performance for urgent types of TDI (78-89% and 99-100%, separately). The diagnostic consistency was also better for the primary/mixed dentitions than the permanent dentition. Conclusion: This study suggested a valid mHealth practice for remote assessment of TDI. A better diagnostic performance in the detection of urgent types of TDI and examination of the primary/mixed dentition was also reported. Future directions include professional development activities involving dental photography and photographic assessment, incorporation of a machine learning technology to aid photographic reviews, and randomized controlled trials in multiple clinical settings.

Background: Remote programming (RP) is an emerging technology that enables the adjustment of implantable pulse generators (IPGs) via the Internet for people with Parkinson's disease (PwPD) who have undergone deep brain stimulation (DBS). Previous studies have not comprehensively explored the effectiveness of RP in managing motor symptoms, often omitting assessments such as the rigidity and retropulsion tests during the follow-up. This study evaluates the comprehensive improvements in motor performance and the potential cost benefits of RP for PwPD with DBS. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on two groups of patients-those who received RP and those who received standard programming (SP). Clinical outcomes including motor improvement, quality of life, and daily levodopa dosage were compared between the groups during a 12 (± 3)-month in-clinic follow-up. Results: A total of 44 patients were included in the study, with 18 in the RP group and 26 in the SP group. No significant differences were observed in the frequency of programming sessions or clinical outcomes between the groups (p > 0.05). However, the RP group experienced significantly lower costs per programming session than the SP group (p < 0.05), despite patients in the former group living further from our center (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Our findings suggest that RP could significantly reduce the costs of programming for PwPD with DBS, especially without compromising the effectiveness of treatment across all motor symptoms in the short term.

ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic created critical challenges for hospitals and health care providers. Suddenly clinics were forced to close; elective procedures were delayed; scheduled visits were canceled; emergency rooms were overcrowded; hospital beds, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) were in short supply; and staff were faced with rapidly changing circumstances, care protocols, trauma, and personal risk. To better address challenges of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and prepare for future pandemics, the National Telemedicine Technology Assessment Resource Center (TTAC) was asked to develop a Pandemic Response Action Plan that would allow its users to address critical issues with available telemedicine and related technologies. The project was constructed in 3 phases. Phase 1-Develop a Pandemic Response Action Plan and a Pandemic Response Action Plan Policy and Regulatory Summary, which identifies the regulatory challenges as well as policy recommendations. Phase 2-Publish the Action Plan and the Policy and Regulatory Summary. Phase 3-Look at health care providers who used the approaches, tools, and technology in the Pandemic Action Plan and document the results. This document represents Phase 3. This document is Phase 3. In this report we look back at health care providers who used the approaches in the Phase 1 Pandemic Response Action Plan as published in Phase 2. In this document we report on the challenges and results of implementing parts of the Pandemic Action Plan. It records the findings, conclusions, and recommendations resulting from the experience of health care providers and the professional experiences of the team and their organizations in implementing parts or all of the plan. Methods: The same multidisciplinary team that constructed Phase 1 and Phase 2 were engaged to develop this Phase 3 report. The members of the team represent leadership expertise and key stakeholders in health care delivery during a pandemic (administration, infection control, physicians, nurses, public health, contingency planning, disaster response, and information technology) as well as a facilitator. For Phase 3, the group used structured brainstorming to define the findings, issues, and results of their own organizations' digital health response to the pandemic. In addition, eight health care providers (hospitals) identified by the Telemedicine Resource Centers' (TRCs) organizations, who used the Pandemic response Plan (created in Phases 1 and 2), were interviewed. All interviews were conducted by the same facilitator with leaders (CEO, and leaders of the telemedicine programs) in each of the eight programs, using a standard questionnaire created by the team. Current literature references are included in this report to illustrate when findings are known to have broader applicability. Conclusions: The impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic was severe and identified multiple critical challenges and weaknesses. Applying the approaches, tools, and technology outlined in the Pandemic Response Action Plan proved to be effective in addressing critical provider challenges. However, implementing these tools during a crisis was difficult unless the organization had experience with the tools and necessary workflows in advance. Implementing these tools as part of standard workflows and everyday operations increased the capabilities and resilience of these organizations in the provision of care during this and for future pandemics.

ABSTRACT

Background: Heart failure (HF) is responsible for a high number of hospitalizations, caused by a progressive worsening quality of life. Telemedicine allows for better management of patients' complex conditions, improving the care released. However, the risk of remaining at a testing stage often limits the integration of remote care in daily pathways for HF patients. The aim of this study is to outline the steps needed to integrate telemedicine activities into ordinary HF clinic practices. This methodology is applied to observe activities and trend improvements over a 12-month routine phase. Method: Three steps have been defined for an efficient introduction of remote care services in ordinary activities, integrating them with traditional in-person care: (i) introduction of temporary telemedicine projects, (ii) systematization of telemedicine pathways, and (iii) evaluation of monitoring phase. Observational data have been collected from structured interviews to show the rate of telemedicine activities achieved in clinical practice over the last year. Results: The methodology has been proposed in the HF clinic of the Italian hospital ASST Bergamo Est. After an initial testing phase, in which usability and user experience have been tested, four different remote activities were added: (i) telemonitoring for patients with an implantable device, (ii) follow-up televisits, (iii) nursing telephone support, and (iv) high-intensity telesurveillance pathways for patients after an HF acute event. During the last year, 218 telemonitoring pathways, 75 televisits, 500 telephone calls, and nine telesurveillance pathways have been performed. Success rates were high, and patients gave positive feedback. Conclusion: By integrating multiple telemedicine activities, it has been possible to better manage complex patients, keep track of disease progression, and improve their participation in care.

ABSTRACT

Patients are reluctant to use telemedicine health services, compared to its substitute in-person visits. One reason is that telemedicine can be accurately evaluated and compared to its substitute only after the product has been adopted and experienced. As such, an intervention that increases the probability of a first experience can have lasting effects. This article reports the results of a randomized field experiment conducted in collaboration with a health insurance company. During the intervention, half of the households out of 3,469 in the sample received periodic e-mails with information about the available services. It effectively increased the take-up and demand for telemedicine. Within the first 8 months of the experiment, patients assigned to the treatment group were 6 percentage points more likely to have used the service at least once (and had about five times the odds of using telemedicine compared to those in the control group). Eight months after the start of the intervention, the number of virtual consultations by the treatment group was six times larger than that of the control group. These results, even if limited by the sample and context in which the intervention took place, provide additional evidence about how information interventions can increase technological take-up within the health sector and could serve as the stepping stone for evaluating the impact of telemedicine on health outcomes causally.

Background: People with spinal cord injury (SCI) are at high risk of developing pressure injuries. Reports in the SCI-community had indicated that a new class of wound treatment, MPPT (micropore-particle-technology), was effective in treating pressure injuries. The British Spinal Injuries Association therefore conducted a survey among MPPT-users to learn from their experiences. Methods: Online survey restricted to individuals with spinal cord injury. Participants were requested to identify themselves to permit validation of statement. Results: The survey had 41 respondents reporting on a total of 49 wounds of which the two main categories were wounds (n = 33), primarily pelvic pressure ulcers; and draining fistulas (n = 9) caused by osteomyelitis. All wounds reported had reached full closure. Median duration of MPPT use and time to closure were 3 and 4 weeks for acute wounds (<6 weeks old) and 8 and 10 weeks for chronic wounds, respectively. On draining fistulas, MPPT had been used to reduce wound size, remove soft tissue infection, avoid sepsis, reduce autonomic dysreflexia, improve overall health, and avoid bed rest, whilst waiting for surgery. Comments on MPPT were 84% highly positive, 11% positive, and 0% negative. No adverse events were reported. Conclusions: MPPT achieved a 100% closure rate of acute and chronic wounds, and, in draining fistulas, effectively controlled soft tissue infection resulting from osteomyelitis. MPPT does not require bed rest and is suitable for self-care and telemedicine, promoting independence and higher quality-of-life. The findings strongly agree with a recent clinical study of MPPT.

Background: There are significant barriers to healthcare access in tribal areas, even though for every 834 people, there is one public physician (registered allopathic and AYUSH doctors). More than 86% of hospital visits occur in rural areas. Furthermore, the bulk of them travel long distances to reach hospitals. A telemedicine center was established in the aspirational tribal district of Sirohi, Rajasthan, to provide accessible quality health care. Objective: To understand providers' attitudes and satisfaction with telemedicine services for tribal populations. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional, mixed-method study enrolled consultants from various clinical departments of AIIMS Jodhpur (n = 23) who provide teleconsultations to the tribal population. Result: The mean score of the satisfactory index was 54.7 ± 22.04. The higher score is 87.4 regarding the ability to use the technology platform during teleconsultation. The lower score was 34.7 for video quality during teleconsultation at STHR. 91.3% found this a beneficial model for the tribal population. Consultants providing teleconsultations expressed that this model is a boon for tribal patients as a screening tool and will save time and money for improved accessibility. Conclusion: Positive indications of teleconsultation with a provider's utility, acceptability, and satisfaction. Most marginalized people can efficiently access all levels of (primary, secondary, or tertiary) health care from experts through telemedicine, which will broaden outreach in hard-to-reach or inaccessible tribal or rural areas.

BACKGROUND: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major cause of morbidity and death worldwide, with a significant impact on children, especially those under the age of 5 years. The complex diagnosis of pediatric TB, compounded by limited access to more accurate diagnostic tests, underscores the need for improved tools to enhance diagnosis and care in resource-limited settings. OBJECTIVE: This study aims to present a telemedicine web platform, BITScreen PTB (Biomedical Image Technologies Screen for Pediatric Tuberculosis), aimed at improving the evaluation of pulmonary TB in children based on digital chest x-ray (CXR) imaging and clinical information in resource-limited settings. METHODS: The platform was evaluated by 3 independent expert readers through a retrospective assessment of a data set with 218 imaging examinations of children under 3 years of age, selected from a previous study performed in Mozambique. The key aspects assessed were the usability through a standardized questionnaire, the time needed to complete the assessment through the platform, the performance of the readers to identify TB cases based on the CXR, the association between the TB features identified in the CXRs and the initial diagnostic classification, and the interreader agreement of the global assessment and the radiological findings. RESULTS: The platform's usability and user satisfaction were evaluated using a questionnaire, which received an average rating of 4.4 (SD 0.59) out of 5. The average examination completion time ranged from 35 to 110 seconds. In addition, the study on CXR showed low sensitivity (16.3%-28.2%) but high specificity (91.1%-98.2%) in the assessment of the consensus case definition of pediatric TB using the platform. The CXR finding having a stronger association with the initial diagnostic classification was air space opacification (χ21>20.38, P<.001). The study found varying levels of interreader agreement, with moderate/substantial agreement for air space opacification (κ=0.54-0.67) and pleural effusion (κ=0.43-0.72). CONCLUSIONS: Our findings support the promising role of telemedicine platforms such as BITScreen PTB in enhancing pediatric TB diagnosis access, particularly in resource-limited settings. Additionally, these platforms could facilitate the multireader and systematic assessment of CXR in pediatric TB clinical studies.

INTRODUCTION: Telemedicine is a feasible alternative to in-person evaluations for people with opioid use disorder (OUD). The literature on medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) telemedicine has focused on ongoing OUD treatment. Emergency department (ED) visits are an opportunity to initiate MOUD; however, little is known regarding the outcomes of patients following telemedicine referrals for MOUD from emergency settings. The current study describes rates of initial outpatient clinic appointment attendance and 30-day retention in care among patients referred by telemedicine compared to ED referrals. METHODS: This paper reports a retrospective review of data for patients referred from EDs or telemedicine through the Medication for Addiction Treatment and Electronic Referrals (MATTERS) Network. The MATTERS online platform collects data on patient demographic information (e.g., age, gender, race/ethnicity, and insurance type), reason for visit, prior medical and mental health history, prior OUD treatment history, and past 30-day substance use behaviors. Analyses compared initial visit attendance and 30-day retention among the patients for whom follow-up data were received from clinics by demographic and initial treatment factors. RESULTS: Between October 2020 and September 2022, the MATTERS Network made 1349 referrals; 39.7 % originated from an ED and 47.8 % originated from telemedicine. For patients with available data, those referred from telemedicine were 1.64 times more likely to attend their initial clinic appointment and 2.59 times more likely be engaged in treatment at 30 days compared to those referred from an ED. More than two-thirds of patients referred from the emergency telemedicine environment followed up at their first clinic visit and more than half of these patients were still retained in treatment 30 days after referral. CONCLUSIONS: The rates of initial clinic visit and 30-day retention when referred following a telemedicine evaluation are encouraging. Further development of telemedicine programs that offer evaluations, access to medications, and referrals to treatment should be considered.

Enhancing access to healthcare remains a formidable challenge in rural regions of low- and lower-middle-income countries. Amid evolving healthcare challenges, telerheumatology provides opportunities to bridge gaps and expand access to rheumatology care, particularly in remote areas. We describe a pilot telerheumatology program and its cost-, time-, and travel-saving potential in a remote rural setting in northern Pakistan. The telerheumatology program commenced at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad, providing services through video consultations to a basic health unit in the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Patients visiting from the Gilgit-Baltistan region willing to participate were recruited in the program. Demographics and logistical metrics were recorded in a dedicated registry. A total of 533 consultations were carried out from April 2022 to April 2023. The majority of the patients were female (318/533, 59.7%). The median age of patients was 50 ± 15.7 years. The average wait time for consultation was 20 ± 13 min. The average travel time to reach telecentre was 59 ± 53 min. The average travel cost to reach telecentre was 379 ± 780 PKR (1.85 ± 3.81 USD). The average duration of consultation was 15 ± 5 min. The most common diagnosis for consultation was knee osteoarthritis (237, 44.5%), chronic low back pain (118, 22.1%), and rheumatoid arthritis (42, 7.9%). On average, patients saved 787 ± 29 km of distance, 15 ± 1 h of traveling, and 6702 ± 535 PKR (33 ± 3 USD) that would have been required to travel to our tertiary care hospital. Telerheumatology substantially reduced travel time, distance, and cost for patients. It has the potential to deliver outpatient rheumatology consultation in an economically efficient manner, effectively breaking geographical barriers and expanding access to essential services for patients in remote areas.

ABSTRACT

PURPOSE: This study aimed to compare the effects of a mobile health intervention based on social cognitive theory with standard care on maximal mouth opening, exercise compliance, and self-efficacy in patients receiving proton and heavy ion therapy for head and neck cancer. METHODS: This open-label, parallel-group, randomized, superiority trial involved a self-developed "Health Enjoy System" intervention. We assessed maximal mouth opening, exercise compliance, and self-efficacy at baseline (T0), post-treatment (T1), and at 1 month (T2) and 3 months (T3) after radiotherapy. Generalized estimating equations were used to analyze differences between the groups over time, with results reported as P values and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). RESULTS: The study included 44 participants. At T3, the intervention group showed a 6 mm greater increase in maximal interincisal opening than the control group (mean difference = 6.0, 95% CI = 2.4 to 9.5, P = 0.001). There was also a significant difference in exercise compliance between the groups (mean difference = 31.7, 95% CI = 4.6 to 58.8, P = 0.022). However, no significant difference in self-efficacy was found between the groups. CONCLUSION: This study demonstrated that an mHealth intervention incorporating behavior change theory could effectively enhance or maintain maximal mouth opening in patients undergoing proton and heavy ion therapy for head and neck cancer in China. ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVES: Telehealth and home spirometry feasibility for children has been established, but their impact on cystic fibrosis (CF) disease progression remains unassessed. We aimed to evaluate the effects of telehealth and home spirometry on CF disease progression and care. METHODS: Children with CF aged 5-17 years from all Swedish CF centers were provided with home spirometers. A minimum of two in-person visits were replaced with telemedicine visits and participants were instructed to conduct home spirometry before visits. Linear mixed-effects models were used to compare annual CF disease trajectories during the intervention period and prepandemic period (1 January 2019 to 28 February 2020). Participants and caregivers completed study questionnaires. RESULTS: A total of 59 individuals completed the study over a mean (SD) period of 6.8 (1.4) months, made 3.1 (1.0) physical visits and 2.2 (0.6) telehealth visits per patient year during the study period. The mean difference (95% CI) between the intervention and prepandemic period progression rate for FEV1%, lung clearance index and BMI were -0.4 (-1.3 to 0.5, p = 0.39), 0.11 (-0.07 to 0.28, p = 0.25) and -0.02 (-0.13 to 0.08, p = 0.70), respectively. There were no major shifts in the incidence of airway pathogens, sputum cultures, or antibiotics use between the periods (p > 0.05). The intervention did not increase stress. Almost all participants and caregivers expressed a desire to continue with home spirometry and telemedicine. CONCLUSION: Combining telehealth and physical visits with access to home spirometry demonstrated comparable effectiveness as exclusively in-person care with enhanced flexibility and personalization of CF care.
