ABSTRACT

Metal/dielectric multilayer films have important applications in energy-saving glass, stealth materials, solar energy utilization and other fields. In the current study, the thickness of each layer of TiO2/Ag/TiO2/Ag/TiO2film is optimized. The effects of the number of metal/dielectric multilayer films and the incident light angle on their optical properties were investigated. The TiO2/Ag/TiO2/Ag/TiO2film was prepared by electron beam evaporation coating technology, and their reflectance and transmittance were measured. The measurement results show that the visible light transmittance (380-780 nm) of the film can achieve 68.7%, and the infrared reflectance (780-2500 nm) can reach 95.9%. Compared with the traditional dielectric/metal/dielectric three-layer film, the visible light transmittance of the film is higher, and the solar infrared reflectance is greatly improved. In the solar radiation band (280-2500 nm), the average error between the experimental reflectance and transmittance and the theoretical prediction results is less than 0.03. The distribution of electric and magnetic fields inside the film was simulated by finite-difference time-domain method. The simulation results show that the high visible light transmittance is due to the interference resonance of electromagnetic waves inside the film. Taking Shanghai as an example, under our calculation conditions, compared with ordinary SiO2glass, TiO2/Ag/TiO2/Ag/TiO2film can reduce the total energy consumption of buildings by 14.3% and refrigeration energy consumption by 17.2%.

ABSTRACT

Reasonably constructing an atomic interface is pronouncedly essential for surface-related gas-sensing reaction. Herein, we present an ingenious feedback-regulation system by changing the interactional mode between single Pt atoms and adjacent S species for high-efficiency SO2 sensing. We found that the single Pt sites on the MoS2 surface can induce easier volatilization of adjacent S species to activate the whole inert S plane. Reversely, the activated S species can provide a feedback role in tailoring the antibonding-orbital electronic occupancy state of Pt atoms, thus creating a combined system involving S vacancy-assisted single Pt sites (Pt-Vs) to synergistically improve the adsorption ability of SO2 gas molecules. Furthermore, in situ Raman, ex situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy testing and density functional theory analysis demonstrate the intact feedback-regulation system can expand the electron transfer path from single Pt sites to whole Pt-MoS2 supports in SO2 gas atmosphere. Equipped with wireless-sensing modules, the final Pt1-MoS2-def sensors array can further realize real-time monitoring of SO2 levels and cloud-data storage for plant growth. Such a fundamental understanding of the intrinsic link between atomic interface and sensing mechanism is thus expected to broaden the rational design of highly effective gas sensors.

ABSTRACT

Background: Perindopril is an ACE inhibitor that aids in both blood pressure regulation and homocysteine reduction. Objectives: Our study aimed to evaluate the results of controlling blood pressure and blood homocysteine levels by perindopril in patients with primary hypertension. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study with a longitudinal follow-up was conducted on 105 primary hypertensive patients treated with perindopril. Results: The results of our study showed that after 6 weeks of treatment with perindopril, the proportion of patients with the target blood pressure (BP) level accounted for 70.5%, the rate of grade 1 hypertension decreased from 61.0% to 25.7%, grade 2 blood pressure decreased from 17.1% to 3.8%, and there was no case of grade 3 hypertension. At the same time, we also found that the rate of BP control in the group of patients who controlled Hcy below a threshold of 15 µmol/L was significantly higher than in the other group (p < 0.05). Concerning the efficacy of decreasing homocysteine in blood, we discovered that after 6 weeks of treatment with perindopril, the proportion of patients with elevated homocysteine reduced considerably from 74.3% to 40% (p < 0.05). In addition, the homocysteine concentration was 4.33 mol/L lower after treatment than before treatment (95% CI: 3.69-4.97) (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Perindopril helps control blood pressure and reduces blood homocysteine levels in patients with primary hypertension.

ABSTRACT

A new strategy is developed herein to improve the solid fluorescence of thiazolothiazole viologen by using the ZnCl42- cluster as a scaffold to hinder π-stacking. Importantly, the Cl···H bonds are formed in the solid state to sustain the framework and can be automatically dissociated when dissolved in H2O, thus having no impact on the strong emission in aqueous solution. As such, the first case of organic-inorganic viologen-zinc halide named 4PV·ZnCl4 was designed and synthesized, and a significant increase in photoluminescence quantum yield (ΦF) is realized from 4PV·2Br (ΦF = 0%) to 4PV·ZnCl4 (ΦF = 27.0%) in solid and from 97% to 98% in H2O. 4PV·ZnCl4 also displays pH stimuli-responsive naked-eye chromic behavior and photoluminescence with different coloring states and intensities. The multifunctional performance of 4PV·ZnCl4 provides a prerequisite for carrying different information, expanding their promising application in multilevel information encryption.

ABSTRACT

The impact of the professional learning community on teachers' professional development has been studied in different contexts. However, the number of studies on the voices of secondary teachers in Malaysian Independent Chinese Secondary Schools [MICSS) needs to be more detailed. This study aimed to investigate how teachers in MICSS view the impact of the Professional Learning Community (PLC) on their professional development. Data for this study was collected using semi-structured interviews with eight MICSS teachers selected from two different-scale MICSSs. The patterns were analyzed by repetitive data reading, data coding, and theme creation. The findings show that with the help of PLC, MICSS teachers may improve their professional development more effectively, particularly in enhancing their knowledge of their subject, students, effective teaching methodology, and sense of occupational belonging. Moreover, collective learning and classroom observation procedures are the most effective among all the PLC activities in the MICSS context. The findings have practical implications for teachers and trainers to improve teachers' profession by establishing professional learning groups.

ABSTRACT

Background: Elevated levels of blood total homocysteine is one of the cardiovascular risk factors in hypertensive patients. Objectives: Determine the prevalence of hyperhomocysteinemia and its associated factors in newly diagnosed primary hypertension patients. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 105 patients with newly diagnosed primary hypertension at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital from May 2017 to May 2018. Total homocysteine levels and related factors were collected at the study time. Results: The mean plasma total homocysteine level was 16.24 ± 4.49 µmol/L. There were 78 patients with elevated plasma total homocysteine levels ≥15 µmol/L, accounting for 74.3% of all patients. Being elderly, gender, hypertension stage, and diabetes were factors associated with hyperhomocysteinemia (p < 0.05). Total homocysteine levels were positively correlated with SBP, DBP, and age with r(SBP) = 0.696, r(DBP) = 0.585, and r(age) = 0.286. Conclusion: Research on the subpopulation of Vietnamese people shows that hyperhomocysteinemia is common in patients with newly diagnosed primary hypertension, and high blood total homocysteine levels are often related to age, sex, hypertension stage, and diabetes.

OBJECTIVES@#To investigate changes of pulmonary ventilation function and diffusion function in lung cancer patients after neoadjuvant immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) therapy combined with chemotherapy treatment.@*METHODS@#Patients with newly diagnosed lung cancer (Ⅱa-Ⅲb) admitted to Zhejiang Cancer Hospital from October 2021 to July 2022, who received ICIs combined with chemotherapy for more than two courses were enrolled. Patients underwent pulmonary ventilation function and diffusion function assessments before and after treatment. The demographic information, sizes and locations of cancer lesions, doses and duration of ICIs used, pulmonary function results before and after treatment, and the tumor regression were documented. The changes of pulmonary function parameters before and after the treatment were analyzed with paired t test and Wilcoxon rank-sum test. The factors influencing the pulmonary function changes were analyzed by multiple linear Lasso regression and ridge regression.@*RESULTS@#Among the 52 patients, 50 cases were males (96.15%) and 43 cases were squamous carcinoma (82.69%). The medium age of the patients was 67 years. After neoadjuvant therapy, 36 patients (69.23%) showed remission of tumor lesions. After treatment, the parameters of pulmonary ventilation inspiratory vital capacity (IVC) and the area under the expiratory flow-volume curve (AREAex), and the parameter of pulmonary diffusion total lung capacity increased compared with the baseline (all P<0.05). Forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume in first second (FEV1) also showed an increasing trend. Multivariate linear Lasso regression and ridge regression showed that baseline IVC had a significant negative effect on IVC improvement (Beta=-0.435, t=-2.968, P<0.01), baseline TLC had a significant negative effect on the improvement of TLC (Beta=-0.266, t=-2.474, P<0.05), and the remission of obstructive pneumonia favored the improvement of TLC (Beta=0.308, t=2.443, P<0.05).@*CONCLUSIONS@#After ICIs neoadjuvant treatment combined with chemotherapy, the lung ventilation and diffusion function can be improved in lung cancer patients, particularly for those with reduced baseline ventilation and diffusion function.

OBJECTIVE To establish a drug batch number traceability management mode in intelligent anesthesia pharmacy of operating room, improve the management level of batch number traceability in anesthesia pharmacy of operating room and ensure the safety of surgical medication. METHODS The problems encountered in the application of batch number traceability management mode in intelligent anesthesia pharmacy of operating room were analyzed to implement the optimization measure and summarize the optimization effect. RESULTS In view of the incompatibility of multiple batch numbers on the dosing track, the insufficient number of drugs in the automated dispensing cabinet, the long replenishment time, the low stability of the automated dispensing cabinet, and the tedious management of drugs with a near-expiration period, the following measures were implemented, including changing the minimum unit of dosing, adjusting the drug base number and surgery schedule, optimizing the supplementary drug delivery order, repairing dosing tracks of the automated dispensing cabinet, adding the batch number correction function, improving the screening function of drugs with a near-expiration period, and configuring the automated dispensing cabinet in the recovery room. It realized the coexistence of multiple batch numbers on the dosing track, the sufficient number of drugs in the automated dispensing cabinet, the shortening of the replenishment time, the improvement in the stability of the automated dispensing cabinet, and the efficient management of drugs with a near-expiration period. CONCLUSIONS The batch number traceability management mode is established in intelligent anesthesia pharmacy of operating room in our hospital, which improves the system function module, optimizes the work process, increases the stability of the automated dispensing cabinet, improves the work efficiency, and realizes the refined management of surgical medication.

ABSTRACT

ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Du-Zhong-Wan (DZW) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) composed of Eucommia ulmoides Oliv. and Dipsacus asper Wall. ex C.B. Clarke in the ratio 1:1. Based on the TCM theory, DZW nourishes the kidney to strengthen the bones. The literature research revealed that DZW possesses anti-fatigue, anti-depressant, and anti-osteoporotic properties. However, the action and mechanism of DZW on osteoporotic fracture remains slightly unclear. AIM OF THE STUDY: To evaluate the pharmacological effect of DZW on ovariectomized mice with an open femoral fracture and reveal the underlying mechanism. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We conducted ovariectomy for 5 weeks, followed by unilateral open transverse femoral fracture for another 3 weeks in C57BL/6 mice; during this process, DZW was administrated. The femur bone and vertebra tissues were collected and analyzed by micro-computed tomography, histomorphometry, mechanical strength testing, immunohistochemistry staining, and qRT-PCR analyses. In addition, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and Alizarin red S (ARS) staining were performed to determine the extent of osteoblastogenesis from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). Western blotting was performed to examine the protein expression. RESULTS: DZW treatment significantly improved the bone histomorphometric parameters in mice undergoing ovariectomy when combined with the femoral fracture, including an increase in the bone volume, trabecular number, and bone formation rate and a decrease in the bone erosion area. Simultaneously, DZW treatment histologically promoted fractured callus formation. Mechanical strength testing revealed significantly higher stiffness and an ultimate load after treatment with DZW. The angiogenesis of H-type vessels was enhanced by DZW, as evidenced by increased levels of CD31 and endomucin (EMCN), the H-type vessel endothelium markers, at the fractured endosteum and metaphysis regions. Relative to the osteoporotic fracture mice, the DZW treatment group showed an increased proangiogenic factor SLIT3 level. The increased level of SLIT3 was also recorded during the process of DZW-stimulated osteoblastogenesis from BMSCs. CONCLUSIONS: For the first time, we demonstrated that DZW promoted osteoporotic fracture healing by enhancing osteoblastogenesis and angiogenesis of the H-type vessels. This enhanced combination of osteoblastogenesis and angiogenesis was possibly related to the production of proangiogenic factor SLIT3 induced by DZW.

ABSTRACT

Bright yellow-green carbon quantum dots (YGCDs) have been successfully synthesized by a simple and efficient hydrothermal method. Their luminescent absolute quantum yield reached 30.0% in 4 h. Compared with commonly reported solvothermal methods, the synthesis time was reduced by more than 70% by using tin oxide nanoparticles as a catalyst. Moreover, the fluorescence of YGCDs could be selectively quenched by folic acid (FA) molecules, and the relative fluorescence intensities of F/F0 was fitted perfectly in line decay curve versus the concentration of FA in the range of 2.0×10-8  mol/l to 1.0×10-5  mol/l (R2 =0.9988). The detection limit of FA was below 2.0×10-8  mol/l, suggesting a promising fluorescent probe of folic acid.

BACKGROUND: The success rate of rescue is extremely low in acute paraquat poisoning. This study aimed to assess whether strengthened hemoperfusion (SHP) combined with continuous venovenous hemofiltration (CVVH) improves prognosis in patients with acute paraquat poisoning. METHODS: Patients from January 2005 to December 2018 were enrolled retrospectively. All selected patients were administered conventional therapy. They were divided according to the received treatments in the conventional therapy, hemoperfusion (HP), CVVH, SHP and SHP + CVVH groups. Follow-up was implemented until the 90th day after poisoning. Other outcomes included all-cause mortality on the 15th day after poisoning, and the percentages of respiratory failure and mechanical ventilation use. RESULTS: The study included 487 patients,and 211 died in all. Mortality rate in the SHP + CVVH group on the 90th day after poisoning was significantly decreased compared with those of other groups (p<0.001). Survival curves of all groups showed significant differences (p<0.001). SHP combined with CVVH was an independent factor reducing mortality risk (p<0.001). Mortality rate in the SHP + CVVH group on the 15th day after poisoning was also significantly decreased (p < 0.05). The proportions of patients in the SHP + CVVH group with acute respiratory failure and mechanical ventilation were significantly lower than those of other groups (p < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: SHP with CVVH may decrease the mortality rate of patients with acute paraquat poisoning on the 90th day after poisoning and improve the prognosis.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Moonwort is a widely used Chinese herbal medicine. It has various pharmacological effects, such as relieving cough and preventing asthma. To date, multiple organ dysfunction and rhabdomyolysis caused by moonwort poisoning have not been reported. CASE SUMMARY: Here we report four cases of moonwort poisoning that presented with multiple organ dysfunction and rhabdomyolysis accompanied by vomiting, fatigue, and muscle aches. One patient was an adult male, two were adult females, and one was a boy, with an age range of 7-64 years. The adults were treated with hemoperfusion and symptomatic therapies, while the child was treated with plasma exchange and symptomatic therapies. All four patients recovered. CONCLUSION: Blood purification combined with symptomatic treatment may be an effective method for managing multiple organ dysfunction and rhabdomyolysis caused by acute moonwort poisoning.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To provide refe rence for inte lligent managemen t of central pharmacy. METHODS :The construction experience of intelligent central pharmacy management mode were introduced ,including the use of information technology ,the introduction of automation equipment ,the rational layout of the central pharmacy ,as well as the optimization of work flow ,and the establishment of integrated management mode ,etc. The workload of intelligent central pharmacy in our hospital before construction(2016),during construction (2017-2018)and after operation (2019)were collected from our hospital information system(HIS),including the number of injection doctor ’s orders ,the number of doctor ’s orders reviewed ,the number of PIVAS deployment,the number of oral medical orders ,the number of medical orders discharged with medicine ,etc. The pharmacist scheduling before and after the operation of intelligent central pharmacy in our hospital was counted. The average daily quantity of injection prescription ,average dispensing speed ,timely delivery rate and dispensing errors were calculated. In addition ,the satisfaction of medical staff in 39 wards of our hospital were investigated every quarter to evaluate the implementation effect of intelligent central pharmacy management model. RESULTS :From 2016 to 2019,the workload of the central pharmacy in our hospital showed an overall upward trend ,and the average daily prescription amount increased year by year ,and the average daily prescription amount in 2017-2019 was significantly more than that in 2016(P<0.05). Average dispensing speed ,timely delivery rate and dispensing errors of central pharmacy during 2018-2019 were significantly lower than 2016(P<0.05). The daily number of pharmacists in dispensing posts in the central pharmacy was reduced from 22 in 2016 to 18 in 2019,with 4 pharmacists saved. During the 4 years,867 questionnaires were distributed and 862 valid questionnaires were recovered. The effective recovery rate was above 99%. The average satisfaction of medical staff in the ward to the central pharmacy was high relatively ,being 96.8%, 98.4% ,99.1% and 99.1% respectively from 2016 to 2019. CONCLUSIONS :The integrated intelligent center pharmacy management mode established in our hospital has realized the information and automatic management of inpatient medication order dispensing;reasonable arrangement of the work contents of professional and technical personnel with different professional titles can not only save the labor cost ,but also increase the content 09304021) of pharmaceutical care ,broaden the work depth ,so as to improve the work efficiency and ensure the quality of 126.com pharmaceutical care.

ABSTRACT

Intestinal mucosal barrier is the first line of defense against exogenous substances. A complete mechanical barrier can separate the body from the contents of the intestines and prevent the translocation of bacteria and microorganisms in the intestines, playing an important role in maintaining the homeostasis of the human body. If the intestinal mechanical barrier function is damaged, it will cause the intestinal endotoxin and bacterial translocation, leading to systemic inflammatory response syndrome and multiple organ dysfunction diseases. The barrier function of intestinal mucosa is a key link in the pathogenesis of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Therefore, the maintenance of intestinal mucosal barrier function is of great value for the diagnosis and treatment of NAFLD. In this paper, the research progress in intestinal mechanical barrier function of NAFLD was reviewed, and the main factors maintaining intestinal permeability of NAFLD were introduced, such as apoptosis, autophagy, apical junctional complex, cytoskeleton, main signal pathway, to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of NAFLD.

OBJECTIVE:To introduce the development and application of automatic dosing and mixing system of intravenous infusion in PIVAS of our hospital. METHODS :Based on the bar code management system in PIVAS ,combined with automatic mixing equipment ,our hospital developed and designed automatic dosing and mixing system of intravenous infusion which could realize real-time scanning and charging of drugs ,setting parameters of mixed dispensing and automatic dosing and mixed dispensing of intravenous infusion. Compared with manual dispensing model ,work efficiency of 5 staff who dispensed Coenzyme complex for injection and Carbazochrome sodium s ulfonate for injection 300 bags each as well as the amount of drug residues in empty bottle were investigated to evaluate the effects of the system. RESULTS :The system realized automatic mixing of intravenous infusion. In manual dispensing model and automatic dispensing model ,the mixing efficiency of Coenzyme complex for injection were (96.6±10.0)and(195.2±10.7)bag/h(P<0.001);mixing efficiency of Carbazochrome sodium sulfonate for injection were (83.8±12.9)and(118.8±6.7)bag/h(P<0.001). The amount of residual liquid in Coenzyme complex for injection empty bottle were (0.09±0.02)and(0.11±0.01)mL;Carbazochrome sodium sulfonate for injection empty bottle were (0.08± 0.02)and(0.12±0.01)mL,which were all lower than the internal control requirements that injected solvent volume was no more than 5% (0.15 mL). CONCLUSIONS :The automatic dosing and mixing system of intravenous infusion could improve the efficiency of intravenous infusion dispensing and reduce the labor intensity of the staff .

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To improve the quality of antitumor drug dispensing in pharmacy intravenous admixture services (PIVAS), reduce dispensing error and occupational exposure to dispensers by antitumor drugs. METHODS: The composition and functions of automatic injection dispensing system were introduced, and the system was applied in antitumor drug dispensing in PIVAS. Various work indexes were compared 1 month before and after the application of the system. RESULTS: The system included information processing software, equipment control software and drug dispensing machine hardware, and had functions such as automatic counting of medicines, automatic entry into basket, automatic drug dispensing and automatic printing of labels. After applying automatic injection dispensing system, the operation of infusion label printing, basket dividing and dispensing in dispensing process was changed from manual to automatic. It could save human resources, as for each label, the average time of drug dispensing decreased from (33.00±3.31) s to (15.55±1.41) s while no mistakes and damaged label was found. CONCLUSIONS: The application of automatic injection dispensing system achieves automatic operation of antitumor drug dispensing in PIVAS, reduce dispensing error reduces staff’s exposure to antitumor drugs and occupational exposure.

ABSTRACT

This paper investigates group consensus problems in networked multi-agent systems (NMAS) with communication delays. Based on the sed state prediction scheme, the group consensus control protocol is designed to compensate the communication delay actively. In light of algebraic graph theories and matrix theories, necessary and(or) sufficient conditions of group consensus with respect to a given admissible control set are obtained for the NMAS with communication delays under mild assumptions. Finally, simulations are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To promote the realization of intelligent management for narcotic and first type psychotropic drugs (narcotic and psychotropic drugs for short)in hospital. METHODS:With the aid of fingerprint identification technology and hardware devices such as intelligent storage cabinet,intelligent management for narcotic and psychotropic drugs were designed and developed in our hospital,including prescription dispensing,cardinal drug supplement,empty bottle recycling,changing shifts, etc. The effects of the system were evaluated 30 d before and after the implementation of the system through comparing related indexes. RESULTS:The application of intelligent management system for narcotic and psychotropic drugs realized intelligent dispensing of narcotic and psychotropic drugs,automatic checking during cardinal drug supplement,automatic information record during empty bottle recycling,automatic record during changing shifts,intelligent and information management on"five specific management"for narcotic and psychotropic drugs. Compared with before the implementation of the system,the duration of daily changing shifts was shortened from(13.62±0.40)min to(8.67±0.33)min,shortening by 4.95 min in average(n=30).The time of prescription dispensing was shortened from(30.36±0.48)min to(10.56±0.46)min,shortening by 19.80 min(n=30). The collecting time of cardinal drug supplement was shortened from(12.72±0.97)min to(0.13±0.03)min,shortening by 12.59 min (n=30). No drug dispensing error was found after the implementation of the system. CONCLUSIONS:The system is stable and convenient,which promotes that intelligent management for narcotic and psychotropic drugs is in line with the requirements of"five specific management". It also realizes intelligent and information operation,improves work efficiency and error prevention ability.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To adopt SIMPLE pharmaceutical care mode in chronic disease management of bronchial asthma and COPD patients,and to evaluateits the effect. METHODS:By random sampling,a total of 200 bronchial asthma and COPD patientsselected from respiration department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University during Sept. 2016-Jun. 2017 were divided into control group(100 cases)and intervention group(100 cases)by simple randomization. Control group received routine treatment. Intervention group additionally received education on quitting smoking,effective use of the inhaler,monitoring detection indexes, selecting drugs correctly,scientific life style. Inhaled device scores,lung function indexes (FEV1%,FEV1/FVC),the number of patients with acute attack/exacerbation,clinical effective control rates,ADR occurrence rates,compliance of using apparatus(MMAS-8 score)were compared between 2 groups before enrollment,3 and 6 months after enrollment. RESULTS:Commpared with during enrollment,inhaled device score,clinical effective control rate and MMAS-8 score of intervention group incereased significantly 3,6 months after enrollment,while patients with acute attack/exacerbation ≥2 times decreased significantly,with statistical significance (P<0.05). Compared with control group,inhaled device score,clinical effective control rate,MMAS-8 score and FEV1% of intervention group increased significantly,patients with acute attack/exacerbation ≥2 times decreased significantly 3 and 6 months after enrollment with statistical significance (P<0.05);the ADR occurrence rate was lower than control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Chronic disease management of bronchial asthma and COPD patients with SIMPLE pharmaceutical care mode can improve medication compliance and clinical efficacy,and reduce ADR.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the informational and automatic management in Pharmacy intravenous admix-ture service (PIVAS). METHODS:The composition and practical application of PIVAS automatic management system developed in our hospital were introduced,and ratio of irrational medical order,drug dispensing efficiency and the numbers of error before and after application were compared to evaluate its effect. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The work process was intelligently opti-mized,PIVAS automatic management system developed in our hospital composed by automatic prescription audit system,intelli-gent drug dispensing system,intelligent liquid preparation system,automated sorting system and automatic transportation system, which respectively achieved the automated audit of prescription,intelligent drug dispensing and labeling,responsibility traced in drug dispensing,intelligent mixed deployment of intravenous infusion,automated sorting and transportation of finished products of transfusion liquid. The ratio of irrational medical order decreased from 2.07%to 1.73%,time of drug dispensing and labeling short-ened from(3.15±0.53)h to(1.55±0.27)h,numbers of error within daily dispensing decreased from 0.26±0.78 to 0.06±0.13, numbers of error within daily sorting of finished products of transfusion liquid decreased from 6.57 ± 1.76 to 0.07 ± 0.17. The con-struction of the system achieves the information and automation of major work in PIVAS and improves the management level of PI-VAS.
