ABSTRACT
A new species of Zodarion, belonging to Z. thoni-group, is described from the Taurus Mountains, Turkey. By now, it is the only known species with an unmodified embolic tip in this group. The syntypes of Z. rhodiense Caporiacco, 1948, Z. nigrifemur Caporiacco, 1948, and the holotype of Z. granulatum Kulczyski, 1908 are revised. Zodarion rhodiense sp. reval. is revalidated and Z. nigrifemur syn. n. is assigned as its junior synonym.

We describe Brachythele rhodopensis sp. n. based on the holotype male from the eastern Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria. The new species is compared with its closest congeners. The diagnosis of B. langourovi Lazarov, 2005 is updated, and the species is reported from the North Macedonia for the first time. New photographs of B. langourovi and illustrations of B. bentzieni Zonstein, 2007 are provided. The male of B. media Kulczyski, 1987 is re-diagnosed and re-described.

The records of the agelenid spider genus Maimuna Lehtinen, 1967 from Turkey are reviewed. A new species, Maimuna anatolica sp. n. is described from Mula Province, Anatolia. The other two Turkish species of the genus are illustrated and re-diagnosed. Some discrepancies in the different diagnoses of the genus Maimuna are pointed out and discussed.

BACKGROUND: The agelenid spider species Coelotesvignai Brignoli, 1978 was described, based on female specimens from Turkey. NEW INFORMATION: The unknown male is here described, based on specimens from the type locality: Bolu, Abant Mountains, Turkey. The variation of the female copulatory organs is illustrated. The relationships of the species with its putative closest congeners are discussed. The discrepancy between the morphological terminology used in the Coelotinae and Ageleninae is discussed and some suggestions how to unify them are proposed.
ABSTRACT
A new species of Dysdera Latreille, 1804 is described from the South-Western Kopet Dagh, Turkmenistan, on the basis of both sexes. The species is compared to its closest congener Dysdera kronebergi Dunin, 1992, and tentatively assigned to the D. asiatica species-group.

A new species of the genus Zodarion Walckenaer, 1826, Zodarion imroz spec. nov. is described based on a male from Gökçeada Island, Turkey. A new synonymy is established: Zodarion tireboluensis Danisman Rubio, 2017 n. syn. = Zodarion abantense Wunderlich, 1980. New taxonomic images of the type specimens (male and female) of Z. abantense are given. Its distribution is summarized and discussed.

A new cave-dwelling species of Tegenaria, T. lazarovi sp. nov., is described from southern Turkey, based on both sexes. The new species belongs to the T. ariadnae species-complex which is distributed in the Eastern Mediterranean (Crete, northern Libya). The new species is compared to its morphologically closest congeners. New taxonomically relevant pictures are given for two of them. The distribution of the Tegenaria ariadnae species-complex is summarized and discussed.
ABSTRACT
A new species of the hitherto monotypic spider genus Proislandiana Tanasevitch, 1985 is described from the high altitude belt of Ararat Mountain (Turkey) and Aragats Mountain (Armenia). The genus Proislandiana is reviewed, its taxonomic relationships to the other genera are discussed. The diagnoses of the genus and its type species are revised. The distribution and the zoogeography of the two known Proislandiana species are summarized and discussed.

Harpactea popovi sp. n. is described and illustrated based on males. It was collected in beech forest habitats (Fagus orientalis) in Strandzha Mountain, Southeastern Bulgaria. The new species belongs to the Harpactea rubicunda species group as defined by Deeleman-Reinhold (1993) and is closely related to H. ice Komnenov Chatzaki, 2016 and H. sturanyi (Nosek, 1905). The following synonymies were established: H. camenarum Brignoli, 1977 = H. sturanyi (Nosek, 1905) syn. n., H. lyciae Brignoli, 1978 = H. sturanyi (Nosek, 1905) syn. n. New illustrations and photographs for the discussed species are also presented.

A new species of the genus Otacilia Thorell, 1897 is described from northern Vietnam: O. fansipan spec. nov. It represents the second species of the genus recorded from that country. Special papillae are found on the surface of the spermathecae, their function is unknown. A distribution map is presented with all records of the genus, with a first attempt to explain its biogeography.
