ABSTRACT

The cotton-picking robot needs to locate the target object in space in the process of picking in the field and other outdoor strong light complex environments. The difficulty of this process was binocular matching. Therefore, this paper proposes an accurate and fast binocular matching method. This method used the deep learning model to obtain the position and shape of the target object, and then used the matching equation proposed in this paper to match the target object. Matching precision of this method for cotton matching was much higher than that of similar algorithms. It was 54.11, 45.37, 6.15, and 12.21% higher than block matching (BM), semi global block matching (SGBM), pyramid stereo matching network (PSMNet), and geometry and context for deep stereo regression (GC-net) respectively, and its speed was also the fastest. Using this new matching method, the cotton was matched and located in space. Experimental results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND@#Intensive systolic blood pressure (SBP) control improved outcomes in the Strategy of Blood Pressure Intervention in the Elderly Hypertensive Patients (STEP) trial. Whether baseline serum lipid parameters influence the benefits of intensive SBP control is unclear.@*METHODS@#The STEP trial was a randomized controlled trial that compared the effects of intensive (SBP target of 110 to <130 mmHg) and standard (SBP target of 130 to <150 mmHg) SBP control in Chinese patients aged 60 to 80 years with hypertension. The primary outcome was a composite of cardiovascular disease events. A total of 8283 participants from the STEP study were included in this post hoc analysis to examine whether the effects of the SBP intervention differed by baseline low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C) concentrations.@*RESULTS@#Regardless of the randomized SBP intervention, baseline LDL-C and non-HDL-C concentrations had a J-shaped association with the hazard of the primary outcome. However, the effects of the intensive SBP intervention on the primary outcome were not influenced by baseline LDL-C level ( P for interaction = 0.80) and non-HDL-C level ( P for interaction = 0.95). Adjusted subgroup analysis using tertiles in LDL-C1 (hazard ratio [HR], 0.77; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.52-1.13; P = 0.18), LDL-C2 (HR, 0.81; 95% CI, 0.55-1.20; P = 0.29), and LDL-C3 (HR, 0.68; 95% CI, 0.47-0.98; P = 0.04) was provided, with an interaction P value of 0.49. Similar results were showed in non-HDL-C1 (HR, 0.87; 95% CI, 0.59-1.29; P = 0.49), non-HDL-C2 (HR, 0.70; 95% CI, 0.48-1.04; P = 0.08), and non-HDL-C3 (HR, 0.67; 95% CI, 0.47-0.95; P = 0.03), with an interaction P -value of 0.47.@*CONCLUSION@#High baseline serum LDL-C and non-HDL-C concentrations were associated with increased risk of primary cardiovascular disease outcome, but there was no evidence that the benefit of the intensive SBP control differed by baseline LDL-C and non-HDL-C concentrations.@*CLINICAL TRIAL REGISTRATION@#ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT03015311.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo conduct a visualized analysis of the researches related to the physiotherapy for exercise-induced muscle damage, identify the present situation, and predict the hotspots and developing trends. MethodsRelevant literature about physiotherapy of exercise-induced muscle damage were collected in Web of Science Core Collection from the establishment of the database to October 31, 2022, and CiteSpace 6.1.R3 software was used for visualized analysis. ResultsA total of 357 articles were included, involving 51 countries/regions, 532 authors and 346 institutions. The annual number of documents issued showed an overall upward trend. The country with the highest number of documents was the United States, the organization was Edith Cowan University, and the author was Howatson Glyn. Keywords with high attention in the last three years were performance, eccentric exercise, recovery and soreness. Cited document clustering words were exercise-induced muscle damage, delayed-onset muscle soreness, foam rolling and exercise performance. ConclusionExercise-induced muscle damage is a muscle micro-injury, and the most important concerns are post-injury muscle soreness, myofascial pain and ultrastructural changes. Researches about physiotherapy of exercise-induced muscle damage are gradually increasing. Main physiotherapy treatments include cryotherapy, cold water therapy, massage, foam rolling and eccentric exercise. Presently, eccentric exercise is a hot topic in this field, and foam rolling would be hot in the future.

ABSTRACT

Background Diabetes mellitus is a major public health issue at present. Previous studies have shown that ambient air pollution is a risk factor for diabetes. Objective This study aims to explore the acute effects of ambient air pollution on diabetes related death in Shanghai Jing’an District. Methods Daily air pollution data, meteorological data, and diabetes related mortality data in 2013−2019 in Shanghai Jing’an District were collected. A generalized additive model (GAM) was established to conduct time-series analysis on the short-term effect of ambient air pollution on diabetes related mortality, and gender- and age-stratified analysis on susceptibility of various groups to ambient air pollution exposures. Results For every 10 μg·m−3 increase of the concentrations of PM2.5, PM10, SO2, and NO2, the diabetes related mortality increased by 2.47% (95%CI: 1.56%−3.38%), 2.02% (95%CI: 1.29%−2.75%), 5.75% (95%CI: 2.99%−8.58%), and 3.93% (95%CI: 2.49%−5.39%) at lag05 respectively (P<0.05). In the stratified analysis, exposures to increased concentrations of PM2.5, PM10, SO2, and NO2 raised the mortality risks from diabetes in male, female, and ≥65 years oldgroups (P<0.05). However, the differences in mortality risks from diabetes due to air pollution within gender and age groups were statistically insignificant. Conclusion In Shanghai Jing'an District, the elevated levels of ambient air pollutants, including PM2.5, PM10, SO2, and NO2, are significantly associated with the increase of diabetes related mortality, and there are lag effects and cumulative effects. The ≥65 years olds are more susceptible to the impact of air pollution on diabetes related deaths.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of preoperative 3D-CTA in assisting the preparation of free thinned anterolateral thigh lobulated perforator flap with nerve in repairing soft tissue defect of limb. Methods Between February, 2010 and May, 2018, free super-thin anterolateral thigh lobulated perforator flap with nerve was transferred to repair soft tissue defect of limbs in 11 cases. There were 8 males and 3 females with an average age of 35 (range, 22-56) years.The defect area was 8.0 cm×11.0 cm-9.0 cm×23.0 cm. Preoperation CT scan of the free flap donor site was performed to obtain 3D images of the region with arterial blood supply by digital 3D reconstruction CT, and to determine the origin, direction, classification, length, diameter and the position of pedicle perforator.Postopera鄄tive regular followed-up was carried according to the Upper Limb Function Evaluation Trial Standards of Chinese Medical Association of Hand Surgery and Enneking Evaluation System. Results All 11 flaps survived. No vascular crisis happened.All 11 cases were followed-up for 3 to 12 (average, 5) months.The flaps were supple and elastic with near normal color.There was no bulkiness.Sensory function was recovered well and two point discrimination was 3.0-6.0 mm. According to the Upper Limb Function Evaluation of Upper Limb of Chinese Medical Association of Hand Surgery, the results were excellent in 1 case, good in 3 cases and fair in 1 case.The Enneking system was used to as鄄sesse the lower limbs recovery.The average score was 21, an average of 70% of limb function restored. Conclusion The free super-thin anterolateral thigh lobulated perforator flap with nerve offers advantages to the traditional antero鄄lateral thigh flap. The survived flaps are ideal in terms of covering limb defects and restoring functions. Preoperative 3D-CTA in the anterolateral thigh perforator flap transplantation is an accurate and useful method.It helps a safer and successful operation with optimal outcome.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of negative pressure wound therapy(NPWT)combined with pig decellularized dermal matrix(ADM)on the repair of limb deep burn wound.Methods From March 21,2015 to January 18,2016,102 patients with limb deep burn wounds in the Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical College were selected,and randomly divided into conventional group and observation group,with 51 cases in cach group.The conventional group was treated with ADM dressing alone,and NPWT+ADM was used in the experimental group.The therapeutic effect was compared between the two groups.Results The drainage fluid volume after treatment for 21d in the observation group was(18.65 ±1.23)mL,which was significantly less than that in the conventional group[(48.36 ±3.12)mL,t=63.265,P=0.000].The wound healing rates of the observation group after treatment for 7d(t=153.829,P=0.000),14d(t=53.786,P=0.000),21d(t=70.763,P=0.000)were significantly higher than those of the conventional group.The wound healing time of the observation group[(18.86 ±1.52)d]was significantly shorter than the conventional group [(28.32 ±1.76)d,t=29.050,P=0.000].Conclusion For patients with limb deep burn wounds,NPWT combined with ADM treatment has remarkable effect,can obviously improve the clinical symptoms,promote disease recovery,it is worthy of popularizing.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the role of B cell lymphoma/leukemia-2 and adenovirus E1B 19 000 interacting protein 3 (BNIP3) in oligodendrocyte cell apoptosis induced by carbon monoxide poisoning (CO poisoning) and the potential signal pathways.Methods Twenty-five male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into control group and CO poisoning group.Mice were left to breathe room air (control group) or subjected to 40-minute exposure to 2 500-3 000 ppm CO (CO poisoning group).The mice were sacrificed at 1,3,7 d and 14 d following CO poisoning.We examined the damage of myelin sheath and oligodendrocytes by observing the expression of myelin basic protein (MBP) and oligodendrocyte transcription factor 2 (Olig2) in corpus callosum.Furthermore,we explored the role of BNIP3 and potential signal pathways in the oligodendrocyte cell death following CO poisoning by observing the expression of BNIP3,Bcl-2 associated X protein (Bax) and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase 9 (caspase 9).Results Immunohistochemistry showed that the expression of MBP decreased significantly in the corpus callosum from 1 d (0.12±0.02,t=3.357,P<0.05) to7 d (0.05±0.02,t=9.730,P<0.01) and increased from 7 d to 14 d (0.13 ± 0.02,t =2.897,P < 0.05) to some degree after CO poisoning compared with the control group (0.16 ± 0.02) and that Olig2 expression increased markedly in 3 d CO poisoning group (72.2 ± 5.45,t =12.211,P < 0.01) compared with the control group (36.6 ± 3.58).The results of MBP and Olig2 in Western blotting revealed that MBP began to decrease from 1 d (0.39 ± 0.02,t =10.391,P<0.01)to 7 d(0.09 ±0.01,t =34.767,P<0.01)and increased in 14 d (0.45 ±0.03,t =6.146,P < 0.01) compared with the control group (0.55 ± 0.03),and that O1ig2 increased obviously in 3 d (0.52 ± 0.02,t =16.651,P < 0.01) compared with the control group (0.31 ± 0.02).Western blotting analysis showed that the levels of BNIP3 were increased in 1 d (2.49 ±0.40,t =15.342,P <0.01),started to decrease in 3 d (1.90 ± 0.24,t =12.417,P < 0.01) and finally recovered in 14 d (0.24 ± 0.02,t =0.798,P >0.05),as compared with the control group(0.25 ±0.03).Moreover,compared with the control group(0.44 ±0.03),Bax was also upregulated in the corpus callosum from 1 d (1.09 ± 0.15,t =9.427,P < 0.01) to 7 d (0.64 ± 0.09,t =4.540,P < 0.05) after CO poisoning.The expression of caspase 9 showed the similar tendency that increased in 1 d (1.10 ± 0.17,t =7.137,P < 0.01),decreased in 3 d (0.79 ± 0.10,t =5.051,P < 0.01)and recovered in 7 d (0.55 ± 0.05,t =0.910,P > 0.05) compared with the control group (0.51 ± 0.08).BNIP3 expression was positively correlated with Bax (r =0.995,P <0.01) and caspase 9 (r =0.950,P < 0.01).Conclusion BNIP3 may play an important role in the apoptosis of oligodendrocytes induced by CO poisoning via the pathway of caspase dependent mitochondrial apoptosis.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the therapeutic effect of fibular head composite flap in repairing the bone and skin defect of radiocarpal joint.@*Methods@#From Aug.2009 to Dec.2016, 9 cases with bone and skin defects at radiocarpal joint were reconstructed with fibular head composite flaps pedicled with lateral inferior genicular vascular bundle. The skin defect size was (3-7) cm×(5-10) cm.The joint function was assessed by the Gartland-Werley standard score.@*Results@#All 9 patients were followed up for 6 months to 3 years, with an average of 18 months.Primary wound healing was achieved in all cases without infection.Bony union of the transplanted fibular head was observed .The range of motion (ROM) of the wrist joint and forearm was assessed as following: the mean extension range of motion was 32.9° (range 29°-41°), flexion 24.5° (range 18°-33°), pronation 75° (range 56°-83°)and supination 65.4° (range 40°-78°). The average grip strength was 78% of that on the healthy side. Mayo wrist score was 85 on average, ranging from 58 to 91.By the Gartland-Werley standard score, the wrist function was rated as excellent in 3 case, good in 5 cases and fair in 1 case, with an excellent to good rate of 88.9%.All patients could cope with daily life and work, with good wrist stability and no motion-related pain.@*Conclusions@#The fibular head composite tissue flap has a good therapeutic effect in repairing the bone and skin defect of radiocarpal joint.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the diagnostic value of computer tomography(CT),magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP),ultrasonography combined with serum CA19-9 and CEA for periampullary carcinomas.Methods We analyd the imaging findings and laboratory testings of 87 patients with periampullary carcinomas which were confirmed by surgical or biopsy specimen of ERCP.Results ①CT or MRCP was better than US in diagnosing periampullary carcinomas.② There was significant differences in serum CEA between four categories of periampullary carcinomas (x2 =9.97,P < 0.05),while the serum CA19-9 had no statistical difference.③CT,MRCP,US combined with serum CA19-9 and CEA improved the diagnostic accuracy of the periampullary carcinomas.Conclusion CT,MRCP,US combined with serum CA19-9 and CEA can improve the early diagnosis of periampullary carcinomas and help for clinical treatment plan.

Deep vein thrombosis is the common complication of trafifc injury , it is one of the dififculties of forensic identiifcation to identify disability grade and the relationship between injury and disease. When post-thrombotic syndrome happens, circulatory system and leg will be dysfunction, caused by the destruction of valve and venous wall and by the blockage of thrombus. The quality of life and working ability will be seriously affected. The impact of different types of deep vein thrombosis on human body was analysised after looking up relevant literatures, then it was discussed that the identiifcation of following questions including: the relationship between injury and disease, how to identify disability grade and it’s best time.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of micro(mi) RNA-195 on high-glucose induced neonatal cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and to explore the related mechanism. METHODS: The potential target gene of miRNA-195 (Smad7) was predicted by TargetScan5. 1 software. Cardiomyocytes were isolated from neonatal SD rats and cells were then randomly divided into three groups: cells treated by culture medium containing 5 mmol/L glucose (control group) , by culture medium containing 25 mmol/L glucose (high glucose group) and treated by culture medium containing 25 mmol/L glucose and miRNA-195 inhibitor transfection (miRNA-195 inhibitor group). After 24, 48, or 72 h of in vitro culture, the morphology of cardiomyocytes was examined under phase contrast microscope. Micrographs were captured and the cell surface was calculated. The mRNA expressions of miRNA-195 and myosin heavy chain ß (ß-MHC), a biomarker for cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, in cardiomyocytes were detected by RT-PCR. The protein expression of Smad7 was determined by Western blot. The concentration of transforming growth factor-ß1 (TGF-ß1) in the supernatant of culture medium was measured by ELISA. RESULTS: Cross-sectional area of cardiomyocytes, expression of miRNA-195 and ß-MHC and secretion of TGF-ß1 were significantly increased in high glucose-treated cells (P < 0.05 vs. normal control). The protein expression of Smad7 was significantly downregulated in cells exposed to high glucose for 48 h (P < 0.05 vs. normal control). Downregulation of miRNA-195 partly reversed the high glucose-induced effects. The expression of Smad7 was negatively correlated with miRNA-195 in high glucose control group (correlation coefficient: -0.945, P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Our results demonstrate that Smad7 could be the target gene of miRNA-195. miRNA-195 might play a crucial role in the development and progression of diabetic cardiomyopathy possibly through downregulating the expression of Smad7 and modulating TGF-ß/Smad pathways.

ABSTRACT

Objective To assess the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) on quantitative analysis of re?nal cortex perfusion in hypertensive rabbits model. Methods Hypertensive rabbit modal (n=10) were established by inject?ing N-nitro-L-arginin methylester (L-NAME). CEUS and Cystatin C (CysC) serum level analysis were performed at differ?ent time points:before and the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th week after injecting L-NAME. Time-intensity curve and area under curve (AUC) were analyzed quantatively while correlation of AUC and CysC were also analyzed. Results Serum level of Cys C in?creased significantly at the 6th week after L-NAME administration which is earlier than the increase of serum levels of Scr and BUN. AUC decreased at first then increased after L-NAME administration. Upon addition of L-NAME, rise time (RT) and peak intensity (PI) decreased while mean transit time (MTT), time from peak to one half (HPT) and time to peak (TTP) in?creased. Our study confirmed a positive correlation between AUC and Cys C (r=0.950, P<0.001). Conclusion Setting up rabbits model by L-NAME is convenient and reproducible, which is an useful tool in experimental study of preclinical and clinical phase of hypertensive renal injury. CEUS combining with CysC serum level analysis is considered as an effective technology for evaluating renal function in hypertensive patients.

Objective To evaluate the effect of resveratrol on the growth of an established A431 xenogratt tumor in nude mice.Methods The model of human skin squamous cell carcinoma was established by inoculating A431 cells in log-phase growth into the left axillary fossa of Balb/c (nu/nu) nude mice.After 7-8 days,60 mice bearing human A431 skin squamous cell carcinoma xenografts were randomly and equally divided into 6 groups:blank control group receiving no treatment,negative control group treated with intraperitoneal sodium chloride physiological solution,positive control group treated with intraperitoneal cyclophosphamide,high-,medium-and low-dose resveratrol groups treated with intraperitoneal resveratrol of 40,20 and 10 μg per gram body weight per day,respectively.Tumor size was measured at a 4-day interval during the treatment course.After 14-day treatment,the mice were sacrificed.Xenograft tumors were removed from these mice and subjected to weight measurement,pathological examination by hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining and apoptosis detection by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL).Western blot was conducted to quantify the protein expression of apoptosis-related factors,including phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase (p-ERK),p53 and caspase 3.Data were processed by SPSS 13.0 software,and statistical analysis was carried out by analysis of variance and Pearson correlation analysis.Results By the end of treatment,the xenograft tumor volume was (1153.56 ± 255.41) mm3,(1001.69 ± 115.08) mm3,(1206.80 ± 175.88) mm3,(1342.28 ± 211.12) mm3,(1642.34 ± 225.85) mm3 and (1564.32 ± 156.49) mm3,and the weight was (1.84 ±0.30) g,(1.72 ± 0.39) g,(1.96 ± 0.40) g,(2.67 ± 0.73) g,(3.16 ± 0.52) g,and (3.33 ± 0.59) g,respectively in the positive control group,high-,medium-and low-dose resveratrol group,negative control group and blank control group.Significant differences were observed in the xenograft tumor volume (F =16.00,P < 0.05) and weight (F =19.15,P < 0.05) among the 6 groups.According to the tumor weight,the growth of tumor was inhibited by 45.57%,37.97% and 15.51% respectively in the high-,medium-and low-dose resveratrol groups.Increased apoptotic index was observed in the positive control group,high-,medium-and low-dose resveratrol groups compared with the negative control group and blank control group (36.79 ± 8.86,33.15 ± 6.00,18.09 ±3.92 and 10.53 ± 4.20 vs.3.87 ± 1.63 and 2.73 ± 1.61,F =93.26,P < 0.05).Analysis of variance showed that the protein expressions of p-ERK,p53 and caspase 3 were all higher in the three resveratrol groups than in the negative control group and blank control group (F =6.65,6.78,11.56,respectively,all P < 0.05).The protein expression of p53 was statistically correlated with p-ERK (r =0.68,P < 0.05) and caspase 3 (r =0.56,P <0.05).Conclusions Resveratrol shows an inhibitory effect on the growth of human A431 skin squamous cell carcinoma xenografts in nude mice,likely by increasing p53 expression and inducing tumor cell apoptosis via the activation of MAPK/ERK pathway.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Fetal microchimerism is a kind of stem cells which comes from fetus in pluripara. The research on fetal microchimerism is a hotspot because it may affect the health condition of pluripara.OBJECTIVE: To introduce the methods of how to detect fetal microchimerism, and the function of fetal microchimerism during disease and tissue repair of the mother.METHODS: Fetal microchimerism was used as a key word, and papers published before 2011-05-20 were retrieved in PubMed. Repetitive papers were eliminated.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Totally 655 papers were retrieved, and finally 26 were reviewed. There are several methods used for fetal microchimerism detecting, and fetal microchimerism may pay an important role in the pathomechanism of pluripara autoimmune diseases, cancer and tissue repair.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo summarize the initial experience of transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery of urology.MethodsFrom February 2010 to March 2011,21 patients underwent laparoendoscopic single-site surgery using transumbilical single-site and common surgical instruments of laparoendoscopic.Nine patients underwent single-site laparoscopic ureterolithotomy,5 underwent transumbilical single-site laparoscopic ureteral stricture resection and anastomosis,5 underwent transumbilical single-site laparoscopic renalcyst unroofing and 2 had a nephrectomy.All of the cases were definitely diagnosed.A single umbilical incision of 1.5 cm to 2.5 cm was made for Triport.The procedures were performed according to the methods used in classical laparoscope methods using general instruments.ResultsAll the operations were successfully completed without conversion to open surgery.The mean operative time of ureterolithotomy was 143 (120-230) min,the mean operative time of ureteral stricture resection and anastomosis was 157 (120 -180) min,the mean operative time of unroofing of renal cysts was 110 (95 -132) min,and the operative time of the nephrectomy was from 95 to 120 min.The intestinal tract function recovered within 1 -2 d,the drainage tube was removed within 2 -3 d and the postoperative hospitalization duration was 4 -7 d.The symptoms were reduced or disappeared and no major intraoperative or postoperative complications occurred within 4 - 6 months.Conclusions Transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery represents a safe and feasible operation for urologic patients.With more clinical practice,laparoendoscopic single-site surgery could be generally applied.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND:Several studies have shown the improvement of heart function through the introduction of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)from bone marrow,which may be attributed to secretion of various cytokines that accelerate endogenous reparative process,but not regeneration of cardiomyocytes.OBJECTIVE:To observe the anti-apoptotic effects of MSCs on adriamycin(ADR)-injured cardiomyocytes apoptosis in vitro through paracrine pathway.METHODS:In vitro cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes(3×10~8/L)were incubated into a 6-well plate,3 mL/well.72 hours later,these cells were assigned into 3 groups.The primary cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes in the ADR-injured and coculture groups were exposed to 1 mg/L ADR for 4 hours to establish experimental models of toxic cardiomyocytes.The normal control group was left intact.In the coculture group,rat bone marrow MSCs(BMSCs)at passage 3 were regulated to 3×10~8/L,3 mL/well was added into Millicell device for 24 hours.Following model induction,the Millicell device was inseted into above-mentioned 6-well plate to establish coculture system.The levels of cytokines were measured in the conditioned medium from three cardiomyocytes groups.Effects of BMSCs on Caspase-9 and Caspase-3 activities,apoptosis and Bcl-2 and Bax protein expression in ADR-injured cardiomyocytes were measured.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the normal control group.the level of cytokine including insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)and hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)was significantly higher in the medium from ADR-injured group.the activity of caspase-9,caspase-3 and the apoptosis rate increased significantly,the expression of Bax protein was higher and Bcf-2 Protein was lower in ADR-injured group(P < 0.05).Compared with the ADR-injured group,the level of IGF-1 and HGF in co-cultured group increased significantly,the apoptosis rate,Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 activities decreased significantly,the expression of Bax protein was lower while Bcl-2 Protein was higher than ADR-injured group(P < 0.05).Results indicated that BMSCs show increased cytokine secretion and significant anti-apoptotic effects on ADR-injured cardiomyocytes through paracrine pathway.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the applicable value of two - dimensional speckle tracking imaging on assessing the local function and coronary collateral circulation of acute myocardial ischemia in dogs.Methods Open-chest model to induce acute myocardial ischemia in 10 dogs was established by ligating their anterior descending coronary artery(LAD). Two-dimensional dynamic gray- scale images of two standard left ventricular short axis views at the levels of mitral annulus and papillary muscle were acquired for the off -line comparative analysis before the operation and 0, 30, 60, 120, 240 and 360 minutes after the operation respectively. Peak systolic circumferential strain(CS), peak systolic radial strain(RS) and left ventricular fraction shortenting(LVFS) of 12 segments at the levels of mitral annulus and papillary muscle were analyzed with QLAB software. After the lab experiment,the fresh hearts of dogs were dyed by TTC.Results ①Compared with the preoperative value , the peak systolic CS and RS of ischemia myocardial regions(anteroseptum,anterior and lateral) in left ventricular short-axis decreased significantly( P <0. 05)during 30 to 60 minutes after ligating LAD. Sixty minutes later, the peak systolic CS and RS had a tendency to return to the level before the operation,although the statistical difference was existing. The peak systolic RS and CS also decreased in certain nonischemic regions (inferolateral and inferior). But CS and RS in inferoseptal regions didn't alter significantly. ②Compared with the preoperative value,LVFS in the ischemia regions were significantly decreased( P <0.05), while nonischemic regions had no significant difference. ③The results of TTC dyeing showed that the infarcted regions in left ventricular short-axis were anteroseptum, anterior and lateral with blood supplied by LAD, which were consistent with the results of RS and CS. Conclusions RS and CS,as the parameters of myocardial strain may reflect the range and extent of acute myocardial ischemia,and the strain changes of local myocardial segments after the construction of coronary collateral circulatory.
