ABSTRACT

It is known that E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase WWP1 is linked to oral cancer. Therefore, it is of interest to document molecular docking data of E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase WWP1 with compounds ((Stigmasterol, Pyrazinamide, Vasicinone and Ethambutol)) from a medicinal plant Justicia adhatoda L for further consideration.

ABSTRACT

It is of interest to document the moelcular docking analysis of SARS-CoV-2 linked RNA dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) with compounds from Plectranthus amboinicus. Hence, we report the binding features of rutin, Luteolin, Salvianolic acid A, Rosmarinic acid and p-Coumaric acid with the target protein SARS-CoV-2 linked RNA dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) for further consideration.

ABSTRACT

Cornulin (CRNN) is linked with tumour progression. Therefore, it is of interest to document data on the molecular modeling of cornulin (CRNN) for docking with phytocompounds (Pyrazinamide, Anisotine, Vasicinone, Vasicoline) from Justicia adhatoda L. Thus, we document the optimal binding features of these compounds with the cornulin model for further consideration.

ABSTRACT

Cissampelos pareira Linn. is a climbing herb known in Indian traditional medicine as laghupatha. It belongs to the Menispermaceae family. The enzyme glycogen phosphorylase (GP) is a promising target for the treatment of type-2 diabetes (T2DM). A variety of natural product inhibitors with both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical potential have been reported in the search for powerful, selective and drug-like GP inhibitors that could lead to hypoglycemic medicines. Therefore, it is of interest to document the molecular docking analysis data of glycogen phosphorylase with compounds from Cissampelos pareira Linn. We report the optimal binding features of 4 compounds namely Trans-N-feruloyltyramine, Coclaurine, Magnoflorine, and Curine with the target protein for further consideration in the context of T2DM.

ABSTRACT

The ligand-activated transcription factor peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) has become a major target for type 2 diabetes. It belongs to the nuclear receptor superfamily, which controls the expression of proteins involved in glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism, adipocyte proliferation and differentiation, and insulin sensitivity. Ocimum tenuiflorum, often known as Krishna tulsi, is the most sacred herb in India. It was utilized for a variety of medicinal purposes. Therefore, it is of interest to document the molecular docking analysis data of PARγ modulators from Ocimum tenuiflorum. Four of the twenty substances (rosmarinic acid, permethrin, luteolin, and isosakuranetin) have a considerable binding affinity for the PPARγ. These phytochemicals are a source of potential anti-diabetic medicines.

ABSTRACT

It is of interest to document the inhibition of A2780 cell proliferation using Mollugo nudicaulis Lam.(M.nudicaulis) extract by MTT assay and by monitoring the CXCR4 and HER2 expression through RT-PCR analysis. Results shown that the n-hexane extract of M.nudicaulis have anticancer activity IC50 values of 32.46±0.92 µg/mL on A2780 cell lines. It is further found that the CXCR4 and HER2 mRNA and protein expression were significantly reduced in M.nudicaulis treated A2780 cell lines. Thus, the n-hexane extract of M.nudicaulis is a natural source of bioactive compounds as potential anticancer agents.

ABSTRACT

The MUC1 oncoprotein is known to be linked with different types of cancer. Therefore, it is of interest to document the molecular docking analysis of compounds from Justica adhatoda L with the MUC1 oncoprotein. We report the structure based molecular binding features compounds such as amrinone, ethambutol, pyrazinamide and vasicoline the MUC1 oncoprotein for further consideration in drug discovery.
