ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study is to investigate the presence of astrocyte antibodies in patients, excluding aquaporin-4 or glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) antibodies, while evaluating associated biomarkers and pathologies. METHODS: Patient serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) were tested for antibodies using tissue- and cell-based assays. Neurofilament light chain (NFL) and GFAP in the CSF were detected using single-molecule array (SIMOA). RESULTS: 116 patients accepted SIMOA. Fifteen functional neurological disorders patients without antibodies were designated as controls. Thirty-five patients were positive for astrocyte antibodies (Anti-GFAP: 7; Anti-AQP4: 7; unknown antibodies: 21, designed as the double-negative group, DNAP). The most frequent phenotype of DNAP was encephalitis (42.9%), followed by myelitis (23.8%), movement disorders (19.0%), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis-like (ALS-like) disease (14.2%). The levels of CSF GFAP and NFL in DNAP were higher than in the control (GFAP: 1967.29 [776.60-13214.47] vs 475.38 [16.80-943.60] pg/mL, p < 0.001; NFL: 549.11 [162.08-2462.61] vs 214.18 [81.60-349.60] pg/mL, p = 0.002). GFAP levels decreased in DNAP (n = 5) after immunotherapy (2446.75 [1583.45-6277.33] vs 1380.46 [272.16-2005.80] pg/mL, p = 0.043), while there was no difference in NFL levels (2273.78 [162.08-2462.61] vs 890.42 [645.06-3168.06] pg/mL, p = 0.893). Two brain biopsy patterns were observed: one exhibited prominent tissue proliferation and hypertrophic astrocytes, with local loss of astrocytes, while the other showed severe astrocyte depletion with loss of neurofilaments around the vessels. Eighteen patients received immunotherapy, and improved except one with ALS-like symptoms. We identified anti-vimentin in this patient. DISCUSSION: There are unidentified astrocyte antibodies. The manifestations of double-negativity are heterogeneous; nevertheless, the pathology and biomarkers remain consistent with astrocytopathy. Immunotherapy is effective.

ABSTRACT

Soy sauce is a traditional seasoning in Asia and provides a unique flavor to food. However, some harmful Maillard reaction products (MRPs) were inevitably formed during the manufacturing process. Fermentation is a critical step of soy sauce manufacturing and has a significant impact on MRPs formation. Therefore, this study investigated the formation of some characteristic MRPs (e.g., furan, carboxymethyl lysine (CML), 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), α-dicarbonyl compounds) and their correlation with major quality indicators (e.g., free amino acids, reducing sugar, total acid, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, non-salt soluble solids) in low-salt solid-state fermentation soy sauce (LSFSS). The result showed that the levels of furan, CML, and 5-HMF continue to increase during the fermentation process, reaching a maximum after sterilization. Further testing using Person correlation showed that the formation of furan, CML, and 5-HMF in LSFSS was positively correlated with glucose, fructose, α-dicarbonyl compounds, and most of the amino acids, while it was negatively correlated with sucrose and methionine. Among them, the contribution of lysine, valine, isoleucine, leucine, and arginine to furan formation has rarely been reported. Our results provide a good theoretical basis for the control of MRPs during LSFSS fermentation.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Lymph node metastasis (LNM) is an independent prognostic factor in numerous types of cancer. Therefore, a LNM-related gene-based nomogram may precisely predict survival and drug sensitivity, and reveal the mechanism underlying LNM. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Gene sequencing profiles of pan-cancer data (33 cancer types) were acquired from The Cancer Genome Atlas UCSC Xena database. Patients were classified into primary (N = 10,071) and testing (N = 5,036) cohorts. The lymph node score (LNscore) was established via single-cell RNA sequencing, whole-transcriptome sequencing, machine learning, and Cox regression analyses. A novel prognosis model, formulated by incorporating the LNscore and clinical characteristics, was evaluated using the concordance index, calibration curve, and decision curve analysis. Moreover, patients were assigned into high- and low-risk groups according to the median LNscore. We investigated these two groups for survival prognosis, functional enrichment, immune infiltration, and drug sensitivity. In addition, we silenced and overexpressed insulin like growth factor 2 mRNA binding protein 2 (IGF2BP2). We also analyzed the behavior of breast cancer (BRCA) cells regarding lymphatic metastasis and lymphangiogenesis in vitro. IGF2BP2 stimulated the proliferation of BRCA cells via 5-Ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine and Cell Counting Kit-8 experiments. RESULTS: A LNM-related set of 12 genes was identified and utilized to determine the LNscore. The concordance-index of both cohorts in the LNscore-based model was >0.7. The immune landscape revealed that the sensitivity to immunotherapy might be better in the high-risk group versus the low-risk group. In addition, we discovered that IGF2BP2 was overexpressed in BRCA tissues and significantly associated with poor survival. Functional analysis indicated that IGF2BP2 promoted BRCA cell migration and proliferation. Additionally, IGF2BP2 accelerated lymphatic metastasis and lymphangiogenesis in vivo. CONCLUSIONS: A novel LNscore-based model was established via comprehensive analysis of LNM-related genes. This model can accurately predict patient survival and drug sensitivity, and reveal the mechanism of LNM in the pan-cancer setting.

ABSTRACT

Cingulin and its paralog paracingulin are vital components of the apical junctional complex in vertebrate epithelial and endothelial cells. They are both found in tight junctions (TJ), and paracingulin is also detectable in adherens junctions (AJ) as TJ cytoplasmic plaque proteins. Cingulin and paracingulin interact with other proteins to perform functions. They interact with cytoskeletal proteins, modulate the activity of small GTPases, such as RhoA and Rac1, and regulate gene expression. In addition, cingulin and paracingulin regulate barrier function and many pathological processes, including inflammation and tumorigenesis. In this review, we summarize the discovery and structure, expression and subcellular distribution, and molecular interactions of cingulin family proteins and discuss their role in development, physiology, and pathological processes.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of Solifenacin in the treatment of children with idiopathic overactive bladder (OAB). MethodsThe study included 67 children with idiopathic OAB treated in the urology clinic of our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023. After at least 2-week-long behavioral therapy showed no significant therapeutic effect, 52 of the cases in the trial group were given oral Solifenacin 5 mg once daily and the other 15 cases in the control group continued the behavioral therapy. The cases in trial group were subdivided into OAB-dry group (27 cases without urinary incontinence) and OAB-wet group (25 cases with urinary incontinence). The 3-day micturition diary, OAB Symptom Scores (OABSS) and the adverse reactions were recorded and analyzed before, at Weeks 2, 4, 8 and 12 after the treatment. ResultsOf all the 67 cases who completed a 3-month follow-up, 44 were cured including 41 in the trial group and 3 in the control group, 4 presented with adverse reactions. After the 3-month follow-up, the OABSS declined markedly in trial group than in control group (Z=4.524, P<0.001); the cure rates in trial group and control group are 78.8% and 20% respectively, with significant difference (χ2=15.367, P<0.001). At each follow-up,we found increased mean voided volume (F=9.707, P<0.001), reduced mean voiding frequency during daytime (F=3.837, P=0.009) and decreased voiding urgency (χ2=482.835, P<0.001). After the 3-month follow-up, the cure rates in OAB-dry group and OAB-wet group are 81.5% and 76% respectively, with no significant difference (χ2=0.234, P=0.629). ConclusionsIn children with idiopathic OAB, oral Solifenacin 5 mg once daily could significantly increase mean voided volume, reduce mean voiding frequency during daytime, relieve symptoms of urinary urgency and lead to fewer adverse reactions, but is not significantly effective for the treatment of urinary incontinence in OAB-wet children .

Regan Syrup has the effect of clearing heat, releasing exterior, benefiting pharynx and relieving cough, and previous phase Ⅱ clinical trial showed that the efficacy of Regan Syrup high-dose and low-dose groups was better than that of the placebo group, and there was no statistically significant difference in the safety between the three groups. The present study was conducted to further investigate the efficacy and safety of the recommended dose(20 mL) of Regan Syrup in the treatment of common cold(wind-heat syndrome). Patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected and divided into the test group(Regan Syrup+Shufeng Jiedu Capsules placebo), positive drug group(Regan Syrup placebo+Shufeng Jiedu Capsules) and placebo group(Regan Syrup placebo+Shufeng Jiedu Capsules placebo) at a 1∶1∶1 using a block randomization method. The course of treatment was 3 days. A total of 119 subjects were included from six study centers, 39 in the test group, 40 in the positive drug group and 40 in the placebo group. The onset time of antipyretic effect was shorter in the test group than in the placebo group(P≤0.01) and the positive drug group, but the difference between the test group and the positive drug group was not significant. The test group was superior to the positive drug group in terms of fever resolution(P<0.05), and had a shorter onset time of fever resolution than the placebo group, but without obvious difference between the two groups. Compared to the positive drug group, the test group had shortened disappearance time of all symptoms(P≤0.000 1). In addition, the test group was better than the positive drug group and the placebo group in relieving symptoms of sore throat and fever(P<0.05), and in terms of clinical efficacy, the recovery rate of common cold(wind-heat syndrome) was improved in the test group compared to that in the placebo group(P<0.05). On the fourth day after treatment, the total TCM syndrome score in both test group and positive drug group was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between three groups and none of them experienced any serious adverse events related to the study drug. The results indicated that Regan Syrup could shorten the onset time of antipyretic effect, reduce the time of fever resolution, alleviate the symptoms such as sore throat and fever caused by wind-heat cold, reduce the total score of Chinese medicine symptoms, and improve the clinical recovery rate with good safety.

ABSTRACT

To explore the autoimmune response and outcome in the central nervous system (CNS) at the onset of viral infection and correlation between autoantibodies and viruses. METHODS: A retrospective observational study was conducted in 121 patients (2016-2021) with a CNS viral infection confirmed via cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) next-generation sequencing (cohort A). Their clinical information was analysed and CSF samples were screened for autoantibodies against monkey cerebellum by tissue-based assay. In situ hybridisation was used to detect Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in brain tissue of 8 patients with glial fibrillar acidic protein (GFAP)-IgG and nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue of 2 patients with GFAP-IgG as control (cohort B). RESULTS: Among cohort A (male:female=79:42; median age: 42 (14-78) years old), 61 (50.4%) participants had detectable autoantibodies in CSF. Compared with other viruses, EBV increased the odds of having GFAP-IgG (OR 18.22, 95% CI 6.54 to 50.77, p<0.001). In cohort B, EBV was found in the brain tissue from two of eight (25.0%) patients with GFAP-IgG. Autoantibody-positive patients had a higher CSF protein level (median: 1126.00 (281.00-5352.00) vs 700.00 (76.70-2899.00), p<0.001), lower CSF chloride level (mean: 119.80±6.24 vs 122.84±5.26, p=0.005), lower ratios of CSF-glucose/serum-glucose (median: 0.50[0.13-0.94] vs 0.60[0.26-1.23], p=0.003), more meningitis (26/61 (42.6%) vs 12/60 (20.0%), p=0.007) and higher follow-up modified Rankin Scale scores (1 (0-6) vs 0 (0-3), p=0.037) compared with antibody-negative patients. A Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed that autoantibody-positive patients experienced significantly worse outcomes (p=0.031). CONCLUSIONS: Autoimmune responses are found at the onset of viral encephalitis. EBV in the CNS increases the risk for autoimmunity to GFAP.

ABSTRACT

This study evaluated chemical compositions of green coffee beans from multi-production regions and correlated this information with thermal contaminants in roasted coffee. Using multivariate statistical techniques, formation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), furan, 2- and 3-methylfuran were positively correlated with lipid, sucrose, glutamic acid, phenylalanine, margaric acid, linolenic acid and trigonelline in green coffee beans. Moreover, significant positive correlations between acrylamide (AA) levels with aspartic acid, serine, alanine, histidine, asparagine, protein, and caffeine was found in green beans. Despite this, 5-HMF, furan, 2- and 3-methylfuran showed negative correlations with active constitutes (neochlorogenic acid, cryptochlorogenic acid, caffeine, total phenolics (TPC) and total flavonoids contents (TFC)), and several amino acids, and there were slight negative relationships between AA and myristic acid, palmitic acid, chlorogenic acid, sucrose, lipid, TPC and TFC. This study provides valuable enlightenment for the selection of proper coffee beans for production of coffee with high nutrition and low chemical hazardous risks.

ABSTRACT

Human-sensitive mechanosensation depends on ionic currents controlled by skin mechanoreceptors. Inspired by the sensory behavior of skin, we investigate zwitterionic hydrogels that generate ions under an applied force in a mobile-ion-free system. Within this system, water dissociates as the distance between zwitterions reduces under an applied pressure. Meanwhile, zwitterionic segments can provide migration channels for the generated ions, significantly facilitating ion transport. These combined effects endow a mobile-ion-free zwitterionic skin sensor with sensitive transduction of pressure into ionic currents, achieving a sensitivity up to five times that of nonionic hydrogels. The signal response time, which relies on the crosslinking degree of the zwitterionic hydrogel, was ~38 ms, comparable to that of natural skin. The skin sensor was incorporated into a universal throat-worn silent-speech recognition system that transforms the tiny signals of laryngeal mechanical vibrations into silent speech.

ABSTRACT

A robust and sensitive analytical method for the simultaneous determination of 9 mycotoxins, AA, and 5-HMF by UHPLC-MS/MS was developed. Clean-up of the extracts was achieved by d-SPE with EMR-lipid. A new column phase (C18-PFP) was selected for HPLC separation after comparison with the C18 column. Finally, the method gave good linear relations with regression coefficients R2 > 0.99. The recovery of all the tested compounds was within the range of 70.67 to 104.88%, and the intraday and interday relative standard deviations (RSD) were lower than 12.49. The proposed method was then applied to investigate the mycotoxins, AA and 5-HMF in 20 food samples sold in the retail market. AA and 5-HMF were widely detected, and half of the samples were found to contain at least one mycotoxin contamination. Therefore, this method is potential to be used as a convenient and effective method for the cookies product quality control in the future.

ABSTRACT

Wound infection can induce inflammation and impede wound healing, being a major challenge in wound care management. A household device that can monitor infection in real time, prevent bacterial, and promote wound healing is highly desired but still rarely investigated. In this work, a novel zwitterionic cellulose-based hydrogel that enables continuously real-time monitoring and pro-healing of infected wound is designed. It is based on interpenetrating polymeric networks, including zwitterionic covalent bond network and physical bond network of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) with Ag+via metal-coordination interactions. When used as a sensing dressing, it is developed to exhibit pH-responsive and temperature-responsive properties for assessment of wound infection. Moreover, Ag+ can be released from carboxyl groups of CMC in response to the decrease of pH, killing bacteria and promoting wound healing. This zwitterionic carboxymethyl cellulose-based hydrogel sensor opens new avenues for domestic real-time monitoring and pro-healing of infected wound.

ABSTRACT

Autoimmune glial fibrillary acidic protein astrocytopathy (GFAP-A) is a newly defined meningoencephalomyelitis. The pathogenesis of GFAP-A is not well understood. The present study measured the expression levels of 200 serological cytokines in GFAP-A patients, NMOSD patients and healthy controls (HCs). The correlations between serum cytokine levels and clinical information in GFAP-A patients were analyzed. A total of 147 serological proteins were differentially expressed in GFAP-A patients compared to HCs, and 33 of these proteins were not observed in NMOSD patients. Serum levels of EG-VEGF negatively correlated with GFAP antibody titers, MIP-3 alpha positively correlated with clinical severity in GFAP-A patients, and LIGHT positively correlated with WBC counts and protein levels in the CSF of GFAP-A patients. These results suggest that GFAP and AQP4 astrocytopathy share some common pathology related to TNF signaling. Serum MIP 3 alpha may be a biomarker to assess clinical severity and a potential target for therapy of autoimmune GFAP astrocytopathy.

ABSTRACT

In the "glucose-asparagine-linoleic acid" ternary system, a kinetic model approach was used to explore formation and elimination law of target hazards, including acrylamide (AA) and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), and their related precursors and intermediate products. The results showed that the elimination of glucose and asparagine and the formation of fructose (generated from glucose isomerization), 3-deoxyglucosone (3-DG), methylglyoxal (MGO), and glyoxal (GO), AA and 5-HMF followed first-order reaction kinetics with high fit coefficients (R2 > 0.9). In addition, the kinetic reaction rate constants increased as the increasing temperature, and all models followed the Arrhenius law. Results of statistical correlations analysis suggested that at lower temperature, the generic amino acid route and the specific amino acid route may paly crucial roles for the formation of AA and 5-HMF, while at high temperature a linoleic acid pathway may be predominantly involved.

TERM working group abbreviates them as PAGE (essential requirements for Publishing clinical prActice GuidelinEs), and recommends guideline authors, editors, and peer reviewers to use them for high-quality guidelines.

ABSTRACT

Pressure injury (PI) is a hard-to-heal wound to patients with the limited mobility, especially paralyzed or elderly persons. These patients also commonly suffer from sensation loss or dementia that is unable to indicate symptoms in time, resulting in missing the "golden period" for treatment. Therefore, it is highly required to domestic continously real-time monitoring as well as promoting wound healing of PI. However, no existing device has realized these functions for PI. Herein, we prepare a zwitterionic skin sensor that enables pro-healing as well as domestic real-time monitoring the multi-indicators of PI. To apply for a PI dressing that requires to tolerate patient body weight, organosilicon nanoparticles (OSNPs) are designed as crosslinks in the zwitterionic conductive hydrogel (CH-OSNP), which exhibits pressure-resistant properties (99.81% compression to recovery) as well as anti-bacterial adhesion. Moreover, the CH-OSNP-based skin sensor is developed, and the resultant sensor can be sensitive to stress stimuli even under a long-term constant heavy load, which stimulates the pressure of a PI person lying down. In vivo results show that this sensor can not only promote PI healing, but also continuously monitor and distinguish multiple information, such as exudate, swelling, and infection, to prevent PI from being worsen. This work provides a domestic feasible device to cure and monitor the PI of patients.

ABSTRACT

Conductive hydrogels have been extensively used in wearable skin sensors owing to their outstanding flexibility, tissuelike compliance, and biocompatibility. However, the dehydration and embrittlement of hydrogels can result in sensitivity loss or even invalidation, restraining their wearable applications in external environments, especially at low temperatures and in arid environments. Herein, an environment-resistant organohydrogel is developed for multifunctional sensors. A double-network organohydrogel based on hyaluronic acid and poly(acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) is developed, and glycerol is introduced into the organohydrogel network via a solvent displacement strategy. Owing to the water-locking effects of glycerol and tough polymeric backbone, the resultant organohydrogel not only exhibits stable tensibility but also maintains excellent flexibility and stable conductivity with the environment-resistant properties, including freezing resistance against -30 °C and moisture retention at 4% relative humidity in a high temperature of 60 °C. Moreover, a series of organohydrogel-based sensors and an array device are developed to achieve highly sensitive strain, temperature, and humidity responses and exhibit a high gauge factor of 10.79 in the strain-sensitive test. This work develops a universal ionic skin based on organohydrogels to be applied to wearable sensors for health monitoring.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a rare and severe inflammatory demyelinating disorder of the central nervous system (CNS), which mainly affects the optic nerves and spinal cord. The aims of this study were to determine whether the expression levels of serological cytokines could distinguish 1) NMOSD from healthy controls (HCs); and 2) NMOSD patients with and without the aquaporin-4 (AQP4) antibody biomarker from each other; and 3) NMOSD patients without the antibody to AQP4 from MS patients. METHODS: The expression levels of 200 proteins in serum from 41 NMOSD (32 with antibodies to AQP4, 9 without antibodies to AQP4), 12 MS patients, and 34 HCs were measured using glass-based antibody arrays. None of the patients received any immunosuppressive treatment. In parallel, the correlation between protein expression in NMOSD/MS patients and clinical traits was determined with Weighted Gene Co-expression Network Analysis (WGCNA). RESULTS: Thirty-nine serological proteins were differentially expressed in NMOSD patients compared to HCs, with 29 of these proteins not observed in MS patients. In addition, the data reveal 15 differentially-expression proteins (DEPs) between AQP4-IgG seronegative and AQP4-IgG seropositive NMOSD patients, and 9 DEPs between NMOSD and MS patients who did not have AQP4-IgG. CONCLUSION: Serological IL-17B is significantly upregulated in both NMOSD and MS patients compared to HCs, and could be a key biomarker of NMOSD and MS. Serological VEGF, MPIF-1 and NrCAM were positively associated with AQP4-IgG titer. We also demonstrate that EGF may be involved in the breakdown of the BBB by downregulating Claudin-5.

ABSTRACT

The roasting-induced formation of thermal contaminants in coffee beans, including 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), acrylamide (AA), furan (F), 2-methyl furan (2-MF), and 3-methyl furan (3-MF), was investigated using a kinetic modeling approach. Results showed that AA and 5-HMF formation and elimination occur simultaneously in coffee beans during roasting and that the related reactions follow first-order reaction kinetics. The concentrations of F, 2-MF, and 3-MF increased throughout the roasting experiment, and variations in the concentrations of these compounds during roasting could be best described by empirical, logistic model. The increase in weight loss and decrease in moisture content of the beans during roasting also displayed first-order reaction kinetics. High coefficients of determination (R2 > 0.981) were observed for all fitted models, and the reaction rate constants of all models followed the Arrhenius law.

ABSTRACT

Traditional wearable devices are commonly nonrecyclable and nondegradable, resulting in energy waste and environmental pollution. Here, a household degradable and renewable ionic skin based on edible glutinous rice gel is developed for a strain, temperature and salivary enzyme activity sensor. This gel depends on intermolecular and intramolecular H-bonds among amylopectin and amylose, and this presents excellent skin-like properties, including stretchability, self-healing property, and adhesion to various substrates. The glutinous rice gel-based skin sensor can be used to monitor vital signs and physiological parameters such as body temperature and heart rate. The sensor also achieves specific speech recognition and detects temperature and body micromovements, which provides the potential to reconstruct language or sensory/motor functions. More importantly, because of the excellent biocompatibility and degradability, the sensor can directly detect the activity of human salivary amylase, which is useful for diagnosing pancreas-, kidney-, and spleen-related diseases in the elderly. Finally, the raw material of ionic skin that originates from traditional grains is degradable and renewable as well as it can be used to prepare household wearable devices. Hence, this work not only extends the application of wearable electronics in daily life but also facilitates health monitoring in the elderly and improves their quality of life.

ABSTRACT

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that leads to the demyelination of nerve axons. An increasing number of studies suggest that patients with MS exhibit altered metabolic profiles, which might contribute to the course of MS. However, the alteration of metabolic profiles in Chinese patients with MS and their potential roles in regulating the immune system remain elusive. In this study, we performed a global untargeted metabolomics approach in plasma samples from 22 MS-affected Chinese patients and 21 healthy subjects. A total of 42 differentially abundant metabolites (DAMs) belonging to amino acids, lipids, and carbohydrates were identified in the plasma of MS patients and compared with those in healthy controls. We observed an evident reduction in the levels of amino acids, such as L-tyrosine, L-isoleucine, and L-tryptophan, whereas there was a great increase in the levels of L-glutamic acid and L-valine in MS-affected patients. The levels of lipid and carbohydrate metabolites, such as sphingosine 1-phosphate and myo-inositol, were also reduced in patients with MS. In addition, the concentrations of proinflammatory cytokines, such as IL-17 and TNF-α, were significantly increased, whereas those of several anti-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, such as IL-1ra, IL-7, and MIP-1α, were distinctly reduced in the plasma of MS patients compared with those in healthy subjects. Interestingly, some DAMs, such as L-tryptophan and sphingosine 1-phosphate, showed an evident negative correlation with changes in the level of TNF-α and IL-17, while tightly positively correlating with altered concentrations of anti-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, such as MIP-1α and RANTES. Our results revealed that altered metabolomic profiles might contribute to the pathogenesis and course of MS disease by modulating immuno-inflammatory responses in the peripheral system, which is essential for eliciting autoimmune responses in the central nervous system, thus resulting in the progression of MS. This study provides potential clues for developing therapeutic strategies for MS in the near future.
