ABSTRACT
CARDIAC lesions involving pericardium, myocardium, vascular components, conduction tissue, and valves have been described in most of the rheumatic or connective-tissue diseases. In classic rheumatoid arthiritis, all of the cardiac components mentioned previously may be involved.
