ABSTRACT
The authors report a very rare case of gastroduodenal intussusception complicating Menetrier's disease. This uncommon condition of unknown aetiology is characterized by hyperplasia of the gastric mucosal folds. Computed Tomography (CT) in high resolution mode can be helpful for diagnosis by showing the cerebriform surface of the giant mucosal folds. Filling the gastoduodenal tract with water is useful in non complicated cases.

The authors report a case of subacute combined degeneration of the cervicothoracic spinal cord involving the dorsal and lateral spinal columns, extending to the brainstem, due to cobalamin deficiency in an elderly patient. Symptoms of this subacute myelopathy are potentially reversible with early diagnosis. Presenting symptoms of this myelopathy, involvement of the lateral columns and brainstem have rarely been documented by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies. MRI showed increased T2-weighted signal in the spinal cord. The patient's background and history and the posterior location of the abnormalities increased the specificity of MRI, and the resolution of clinical symptoms with vitamin supplementation confirmed the diagnosis.

Bowel obstruction is a rare but serious complication of pregnancy for both the mother and the developing fetus. The authors report a case of small bowel obstruction in an early pregnant patient. Increasing delay between the onset of symptoms and the diagnosis remains a significant contributing factor to the high morbidity and mortality in the pregnant patient population. So, prompt diagnosis and therapy are essential. Single Shot Fast Spin Echo MR sequence confirmed the presence of bowel obstruction and identified the zone of transition.

History taking should search for intake of raw or uncooked fish in patients with acute abdominal symptoms. The colon is an uncommon localization of anisakiasis. We describe the case of a 31-year-old man with acute abdominal pain whose abdominal CT scan showed a pseudotumoral formation of the colon. History taking and endoscopic ablation gave the diagnosis of anisakiasis. Whole worm extraction led to restituo ad integrum or the colonic wall.

INTRODUCTION: Pyomyositis are relatively rare in our countries. CASE REPORT: A 73-year-old-man presented with leg pains and septicemia. Diagnosis of pyomyositis was made and a large incision was performed after which the patient had a progressive improvement. DISCUSSION: Diagnosis of pyomyositis may be difficult in early stages. Diagnosis is greatly facilitated by magnetic resonance imaging. Responsibility of Staphylococcus aureus in cases of pyomyositis due to methi-resistant Staphylococcus aureus may be evocated even if patients was not hospitalized.

We report the following observation of a diffuse kind of colic angiodysplasia in a young subject. Usually to be find in old subjects and regarded as been degenerative origine, angiodysplasiae have been reported in young subjects and we are led to ponder over their nature. The contribution of diagnostic and therapeutic means and their respected place have been specified. In particular the significance of vascular radiology and the angiographic signs of this arterioveinous malformation have been developed.

Dorsal carpal protuberance of the wrist is frequently caused by the presence of a styloideum bone. We report a case illustrating this pathophysiological hypothesis. This pathology is often confused with synovial cyst emphasizing the importance of a lateral view of the hand in 30 degrees supination. Computed tomography sections are also helpful showing the exact nature of the protuberance. A cuneiform resections of the joint line can leave to complete symptom relief.

Rotor's syndrome is a rare hereditary non hemolytic hyperbilirubinemia. The authors report a new case of a 22-year-old man, with chronic asymptomatic fluctuating jaundice. Liver function tests such as alkaline phosphatase, gammaglutamyl transferase and aminotransferase were normal, the same applying to globulin levels. The diagnosis was confirmed by a typical bromsulphalein clearance test, oral cholecystography, and increased total urinary coproporphyrin as well as coproporphyrin isomer I.
