ABSTRACT

Edwardsiella tarda (E. tarda) can infect humans and a variety of animals, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. However, a more highly sensitive, specific, and repeatable test for its detection is lacking. The objective of this study was to develop a highly sensitive, specific, and repeatable droplet digital polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR)-based method for the quantitative detection of E. tarda. The gyrB gene was selected as the target gene, and primers and probe were designed and synthesized. Using E. tarda genomic DNA as templates, the reaction method was optimized to establish a linear relationship with real-time PCR detection methods. The sensitivity, specificity, and repeatability of the method were analyzed, and clinical samples were tested. When the primer and probe concentrations were 900 and 300 nM, respectively, and the annealing temperature was 57°C, the efficiency of the ddPCR amplification reaction was highest and the boundary between positive and negative droplet distribution was clearest. The sensitivity was high, with detection limit being as low as 0.56 copies·µL-1; additionally, and a good linear relationship (R 2 = 0.9962) between ddPCR and real-time PCR detection, within the range of 1-25,000 copies·µL-1, was evident. The repeatability was good, with a detection coefficient of variation of 2.74%. There was no cross-reactivity with 15 other common pathogenic microorganisms in aquatic animals (Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus iniae, Streptococcus suis type 2, Nocardia seriolae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Aeromonas sobria, red sea bream iridovirus, decapod iridescent virus 1, enterocytozoon hepatopenaei, carp edema virus, Koi herpesvirus, goldfish hematopoietic necrosis virus, tilapia lake virus, viral nervous necrosis virus, or grass carp reovirus) in positive samples. Among the 48 clinical samples, including Bahaba taipingensis and its live food fish, pond water samples, and routine monitoring samples (Koi), 21 were positive for E. tarda, consistent with the bacterial isolation and identification results. The E. tarda ddPCR detection method has high specificity, sensitivity, and repeatability, can more accurately quantify E. tarda, and provides a useful reference for research related to this bacterium.

ABSTRACT

Monitoring the effector function of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) in vivo remains a great challenge. Here, we develop a chemistry-enabled enzymatic labeling approach to evaluate the tumor-specific immune response of CTLs by precisely monitoring the interaction between CTLs and tumor cells. Staphylococcus aureus sortase A (SrtA) is linked to the CTL surface through bioconjugate chemistry and then catalyzes the transfer of fluorescent-labeled substrate, 5-Tamra-LPETG, to CTLs. Meanwhile, the tumor cells are specifically decorated with N-terminal glycine residues (G5 peptide) through the inherent glycolmetabolism of cathepsin B-specific cleavable triacetylated N-azidoacetyl-d-mannosamine (CB-Ac3ManNAz) and click chemistry. After the infiltration of engineered CTLs into the tumor tissues, the immune-synapse-mediated specific interaction of CTLs and tumor cells leads to the accurate fluorescent labeling of tumor cells through the SrtA-catalyzed 5-Tamra-LPETG transfer. Therefore, the immune effect of CTLs as well as the performance of immune drugs can be determined, providing a novel strategy for pushing ahead immunotherapy.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: It is recommended by Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia to early identify people at risk for sarcopenia using simple screening tools like SARC-F. The modified version SARC-F+EBM showed higher diagnostic performance. However, this cut-off value of body mass index (BMI) remained uncertain to be used in Chinese population. In this study, we used appropriate BMI recommended for Chinese older population and further modified SARC-F+EBM by combining calf circumference. METHODS AND STUDY DESIGN: Diagnostic tests were performed and the receiver operating characteristics analyses were conducted between the SARC-F, SARC-F+EBM (cut-off of BMI: ≤ 21 kg/m2), SARC-F+EBM (CN) (cut-off of BMI: ≤ 22 kg/m2), SARC-CalF and SARC-CalF+EBM (CN) (cut-off of BMI: ≤ 22 kg/m2) in 1660 community-dwelling participants aged ≥ 65 years from China. RESULTS: The participants had an average age of 71.7±5.1 years, of which 56.8% were women. All the modified models could enhance the areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of original SARC-F (all p<0.001). The SARC-F+EBM (CN) also showed a significantly higher sensitivity of 47.4% (p<0.001) and an AUC of 0.809 (p=0.005) than SARC-F+EBM. SARC-CalF+EBM (CN) was validated to be of great diagnostic value of the highest AUC of 0.88 among these sarcopenia screening tools, including SARC-F, SARC-CalF and SARC-F+EBM (CN) (all p<0.001). Using this study population as a reference, the optimal cut-off value of SARC-CalF+EBM (CN) is ≥12 points, with a sensitivity of 79.3% and a specificity of 80.7%. CONCLUSIONS: The SARC-F+EBM (CN) and SARC-CalF+EBM (CN) could enhance the diagnostic performance of SARC-F and SARC-F+EBM and are suitable sarcopenia screening tools for Chinese population.

ABSTRACT

Nanodelivery systems (NDSs) provide promising prospects for decreasing drug doses, reducing side effects, and improving therapeutic effects. However, the bioapplications of NDSs are still compromised by their fast clearance, indiscriminate biodistribution, and limited tumor accumulation. Hence, engineering modification of NDSs aiming at promoting tumor-specific therapy and avoiding systemic toxicity is usually needed. An NDS integrating various functionalities, including flexible camouflage, specific biorecognition, and sensitive stimuli-responsiveness, into one sequence would be "smart" and highly effective. Herein, we systematically summarize the related principles, methods, and progress. At the end of the review, we predict the obstacles to precise nanoengineering and prospects for the future application of NDSs.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: The effectiveness of administering argatroban as a treatment approach following antiplatelet therapy or alteplase thrombolytic therapy in patients with acute stroke is presently uncertain. However, it is important to highlight the potential benefits of combining this medication with known thrombolytics or antiplatelet therapy. One notable advantage of argatroban is its short half-life, which helps minimize excessive anticoagulation and risk of bleeding complications in inadvertent cases of hemorrhagic stroke. By conducting a meticulous review and meta-analysis, we aim to further explore the common use of argatroban and examine the plausible advantages of combining this medication with established thrombolytic and antiplatelet therapies. METHOD: In this study, we performed a rigorous and methodical search for both randomized controlled trials and retrospective analyses. Our main objective was to analyze the impact of argatroban on the occurrence of hemorrhagic events and the mRS scores of 0-2. We utilized a meta-analysis to assess the relative risk (RR) associated with using argatroban versus not using it. RESULTS: In this study, we analyzed data from 11 different studies, encompassing a total of 8,635 patients. Out of these patients, 3999(46.3%) received argatroban treatment while the remaining 4636(53.7%)did not. The primary outcome of 90-day functional independence (modified Rankin scale (mRS) score≤2) showed that the risk ratio (RR) for patients using argatroban after alteplase thrombolytic therapy compared to those not using argatroban was(RR, 1.00 ([95% CI, 0.92-1.09]; P = 0.97), indicating no statistical significance. However, for patients using argatroban after antiplatelet therapy, was (RR,1.09 [95% CI, 1.04-1.14]; P = 0.0001), which was statistically significant. In terms of hemorrhagic events, the RR for patients using argatroban compared to those not using argatroban was (RR,1.08 [95% CI, 0.88-1.33]; P = 0.46), indicating no statistical significance. CONCLUSION: The results of this study suggest that further research into combination therapy with argatroban and antiplatelet agents may be warranted, however more rigorous RCTs are needed to definitively evaluate the effects of combination treatment.

ABSTRACT

Tracheostomy is a very common airway procedure in the treatment of critically ill neurological patients. At present, the traditional tracheal cannula fixation belt is easy to be contaminated, difficult to disinfect, and needs to be replaced regularly. It is prone to infection, skin injury, unplanned extubation and other adverse events, which cannot meet the clinical treatment effect and patient safety management. In order to overcome the above problems, the medical staff of the neurology intensive care unit of Henan Provincial People's Hospital designed a new type of tracheal cannula fixation belt to increase patient comfort and reduce complications, and obtained a National Utility Model Patent of China (ZL 2022 2 0855188.8). The main structure of the device includes a following shaped bending plate, a fastening belt, a locking pin, and a distance adjustment hole. The left and right sides of the shaped bending plate are equipped with fastening belts with breathable and anti-wear pads. The inner side of the left fastening belt is equipped with two sets of locking pins, and the outer surface of the right fastening belt and breathable and anti-wear pad is equipped with multiple sets of distance adjustment holes. Additionally, the back of the shaped bending plate is equipped with breathable buffer pads. The fastening belt can drive the following bending plate to stick tightly to the patient's neck. The operator installs the locking pin card into the distance adjustment hole according to the "one back" principle, and the fastening belts on both sides fix the device with the cooperation of the locking pin, greatly reducing the probability of excessive displacement of the tracheal tube during use, effectively improving the fixation effect of the device, strengthening the adaptability of the device to different personnel, and thus enhancing the practicality of the device. The new type of tracheal cannula fixation band is convenient, safe and efficient, which can increase patient comfort, reduce complications. It has certain clinical value and is suitable for clinical promotion.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: Insomnia is a common sleep disorder, often associated with some mental disorders or mental health concerns, especially when accompanied by depression or anxiety, but very limited research has been reported in China. The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of insomnia and associations with depression, anxiety in Chinese adults. METHODS: We conducted this large-sample cross-sectional study (51774 adults) in Guangdong province from October to December 2022. We used multistage stratified equal-volume random sampling under a complex sampling design to select the sample and standardized structured questionnaires to collect the necessary information. Descriptive analysis and logistic regression model were used for statistical analysis. RESULTS: The weighted prevalence of insomnia was 24.8 %. Insomnia was significantly associated with depression (OR:11.29, 95 %CI: 9.58-13.29), and anxiety (OR:10.98, 95 %CI: 8.78-13.72). Risk factors as being associated with insomnia were female, higher years of education, suffering from chronic diseases, previous drinking and current drinking, while protective factors were living in a rural area, married or cohabited, divorce or separation and being older. Risk factors as being associated with depression in the insomnia group included 10-16 years of education and suffering from chronic diseases, while protective factors were being older, married or cohabited, and normal BMI. Risk factors associated with anxiety in the insomnia group included 7-12 years of education and suffering from chronic diseases, while protective factors were being older, married or cohabited, and having a normal BMI. CONCLUSIONS: Insomnia is associated with the development of depression and anxiety. Women and unhealthy lifestyle were at high risk for insomnia, had chronic diseases is an important factor, and insomnia with depression or anxiety.

BACKGROUND: Ischemic stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide. Endovascular thrombectomy (ET) has been shown to prevent disability in a proportion of patients. The use of tirofiban in patients undergoing ET after acute stroke has resulted in improved patient function and reduced mortality to some extent. In this systematic review and meta-analysis of the current period, an overview of the most recent studies on the potential efficacy of using tirofiban to help acute stroke patients improve function and reduce mortality was provided. METHODS: In this meta-analysis, we explore the safety and efficacy of ET combined with tirofiban in patients with acute stroke. We searched the PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, and The Cochrane Library database from the construction of the library to the present relevant RCTs/non-RCTs. The following key words were used for finding relevant studies from the databases"tirofiban""thrombectomy"" Stroke"" balloon angioplasty""stenting". RESULTS: Total of 14 trials with 4366 individuals enrolled were included in the Meta-analysis including 2732(62.6) who received ET alone and 1634(37.4 %) who received tirofiban plus ET. The primary outcome of 90-day functional independence (modified Rankin scale (mRS) score≤2) was 42.2 % (1043/2473) in the ET alone group vs. 46.2 % (684/1480) in the tirofiban with ET group (risk ratio (RR), 1.10 [95 % CI, 1.02-1.18]; P=0.02),mortality at 90 days (RR, 0.86 [95 % CI, 0.76-0.98]; P = 0.02). There is no significant between-group differences were found in excellent outcome (mRS score ≤1) (RR, 1.08 [95 % CI, 0.95-1.23]; P = 0.22), symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (RR, 1.11 [95 % CI, 0.92-1.34]; P = 0.27). CONCLUSIONS: These findings suggest that the use of ET combined with tirofiban in patients with acute stroke is safe and has the potential to reduce mortality and improve functional independence at 90 days.

ABSTRACT

As natural adjuvants, the bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMV) hold great potential in cancer vaccines. However, the inherent immunotoxicity of OMV and the rarity of tumor-specific antigens seriously hamper the clinical translation of OMV-based cancer vaccines. Herein, metal-phenolic networks (MPNs) are used to attenuate the toxicity of OMV, meanwhile, provide tumor antigens via the chemodynamic effect induced immunogenic cell death (ICD). Specifically, MPNs are assembled on the OMV surface through the coordination reaction between ferric ions and tannic acid. The iron-based "prison" is locally collapsed in the tumor microenvironment (TME) with both low pH and high ATP features, and thus the systemic toxicity of OMV is significantly attenuated. The released ferric ions in TME promote the ICD of cancer cells through Fenton reaction and then the generation of abundant tumor antigens, which can be used to fabricate in-situ vaccines by converging with OMV. Together with the immunomodulatory effect of OMV, potent tumor repression on a bilateral tumor model is achieved with good biosafety.

ABSTRACT

Organic near-infrared room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials offer remarkable advantages in bioimaging due to their characteristic time scales and background noise elimination. However, developing near-infrared RTP materials for deep tissue imaging still faces challenges since the small band gap may increase the non-radiative decay, resulting in weak emission and short phosphorescence lifetime. In this study, fused-ring pyrrole-based structures were employed as the guest molecules for the construction of long wavelength emissive RTP materials. Compared to the decrease of the singlet energy level, the triplet energy level showed a more effectively decrease with the increase of the conjugation of the substituent groups. Moreover, the sufficient conjugation of fused ring structures in the guest molecule suppresses the non-radiative decay of triplet excitons. Therefore, a near-infrared RTP material (764 nm) was achieved for deep penetration bioimaging. Tumor cell membrane is used to coat RTP nanoparticles (NPs) to avoid decreasing the RTP performance compared to traditional coating by amphiphilic surfactants. RTP NPs with tumor-targeting properties show favorable phosphorescent properties, superior stability, and excellent biocompatibility. These NPs are applied for time-resolved luminescence imaging to eliminate background interference with excellent tissue penetration. This study provides a practical solution to prepare long-wavelength and long-lifetime organic RTP materials and their applications in bioimaging.

ABSTRACT

The critical role of auxin on secondary vascular development in woody plants has been demonstrated. The concentration gradient of endogenous indole-3-acetic acid and the cellular and molecular pathways contributing to the auxin-directed vascular organization and wood growth have been uncovered in recent decades. However, our understanding of the roles and regulations of auxin influx in wood formation in trees remains limited. Here, we reported that a microRNA, miR7833, participates in the negative regulation of stem cambial cell division and secondary xylem development in Populus tomentosa. The miR7833 is mainly expressed in the vascular cambium during stem radical growth and specifically targets and represses two AUX/LAX family auxin influx carriers, AUX5 and AUX6, in poplar. We further revealed that poplar AUX6, the most abundant miR7833 target in the stem, is preferentially enriched in the developing xylem and is a positive regulator for cell division and differentiation events during wood formation. Moreover, inhibition of auxin influx carriers by 1-naphthoxyacetic acids abolished the regulatory effects of miR7833 and AUX6 on secondary xylem formation in poplar. Our results revealed the essential roles of the miR7833-AUX6 module in regulating cellular events in secondary xylem development and demonstrated an auxin influx-dependent mechanism for wood formation in poplar.

ABSTRACT

Monitoring the highly dynamic and complex immune response remains a great challenge owing to the lack of reliable and specific approaches. Here, we develop a strategy to monitor the cascade of tumor immune response through the cooperation of pore-forming alginate gel with chemoenzymatic proximity-labeling. A macroporous gel containing tumor-associated antigens, adjuvants, and pro-inflammatory cytokines is utilized to recruit endogenous DCs and enhance their maturation in vivo. The mature DCs are then modified with GDP-fucose-fucosyltransferase (GDP-Fuc-Fuct) via the self-catalysis of fucosyltransferase (Fuct). Following the migration of the obtained Fuct-DCs to the draining lymph nodes (dLNs), the molecular recognition mediated interaction of DCs and T cells leads to the successful decoration of T cells with GDP-Fuc-azide through the Fuct catalyzed proximity-labeling. Therefore, the activated tumor-specific T cells in dLNs and tumors can be identified through bioorthogonal labeling, opening up a new avenue for studying the immune mechanism of tumors in situ.

ABSTRACT

The responses of patients to tumor therapies vary due to tumor heterogeneity. Tumor stratification has been attracting increasing attention for accurately distinguishing between responders to treatment and non-responders. Nanoprobes with unique physical and chemical properties have great potential for patient stratification. This review begins by describing the features and design principles of nanoprobes that can visualize specific cell types and biomarkers and release inflammatory factors during or before tumor treatment. Then, we focus on the recent advancements in using nanoprobes to stratify various therapeutic modalities, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy (RT), photothermal therapy (PTT), photodynamic therapy (PDT), chemodynamic therapy (CDT), ferroptosis, and immunotherapy. The main challenges and perspectives of nanoprobes in cancer stratification are also discussed to facilitate probe development and clinical applications.

Among carbon allotropes, 2D graphdiyne (GDY) possesses the merits of good ductility, strong conductivity and an adjustable energy band structure. In this study, a GDY/ZnCo-ZIF S-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst has been successfully prepared by a low-temperature mixing method. Using eosin as a photosensitizer and triethanolamine as a solvent, the hydrogen production of the GDY/ZnCo-ZIF-0.9 composite reaches 171.79 µmol, which is 6.67 and 13.5 times that of the GDY and ZnCo-ZIF materials, respectively. The apparent quantum efficiency of the GDY/ZnCo-ZIF-0.9 composite at 470 nm is 2.8%. The improved photocatalytic efficiency may be attributed to the creation of an S-scheme heterojunction structure that enables efficient separation of space charges. In addition, the EY-sensitized GDY/ZnCo-ZIF catalyst endows the GDY with a special structure to provide an abundance of electrons for the ZnCo-ZIF material, thus facilitating the photocatalytic reduction reaction to produce hydrogen. A novel perspective is presented in this study regarding the construction of an S-scheme heterojunction based on graphdiyne for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen generation.

ABSTRACT

Reflection reduction metasurface (RRM) has been drawing much attention due to its potential application in stealth technology. However, the traditional RRM is designed mainly based on trial-and-error approaches, which is time-consuming and leads to inefficiency. Here, we report the design of a broadband RRM based on deep-learning methodology. On one hand, we construct a forward prediction network that can forecast the polarization conversion ratio (PCR) of the metasurface in a millisecond, demonstrating a higher efficiency than traditional simulation tools. On the other hand, we construct an inverse network to immediately derive the structure parameters once a target PCR spectrum is given. Thus, an intelligent design methodology of broadband polarization converters has been established. When the polarization conversion units are arranged in chessboard layout with 0/1 form, a broadband RRM is achieved. The experimental results show that the relative bandwidth reaches 116% (reflection<-10 dB) and 107.4% (reflection<-15 dB), which demonstrates a great advantage in bandwidth compared with the previous designs.

The intrinsic features and functions of platelets and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) indicate their great potential in the treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). However, neither of them can completely overcome ICH because of the stealth process and the complex pathology of ICH. Here, we fabricate hybrid cells for versatile and highly efficient ICH therapy by fusing MSCs with platelets and loading with lysophosphatidic acid-modified PbS quantum dots (LPA-QDs). The obtained LPA-QDs@FCs (FCs = fusion cells) not only inherit the capabilities of both platelets and MSCs but also exhibit clearly enhanced proliferation activated by LPA. After systemic administration, many proliferating LPA-QDs@FCs rapidly accumulate in ICH areas for responding to the vascular damage and inflammation and then efficiently prevent both the primary and secondary injuries of ICH but with no obvious side effects. Moreover, the treatment process can be tracked by near-infrared II fluorescence imaging with highly spatiotemporal resolution, providing a promising solution for ICH therapy.

ABSTRACT

Mitochondria are crucial for both sonodynamic therapy and antitumor immunity. However, how to accurately damage mitochondria and meanwhile prevent the mitophagy and immune checkpoint inhibition is still a great challenge. Herein, hexyl 5-aminolevulinate hydrochloride (HAL) and 3-methyladenine (3MA) are loaded into the tumor cell-derived microparticle (X-MP), which can direct the target delivery of the prepared HAL/3MA@X-MP to the tumor cells. HAL induces the confined biosynthesis and accumulation of sonosensitizer PpIX in mitochondria, leading to the localized generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon ultrasound irradiation and, thus, the efficient mitochondrial damage. Meanwhile, 3MA not only inhibits mitophagy but also down-regulates the PD-L1 expression, promoting the immunogenic cell death (ICD) while blocking the immune checkpoint recognition. The smart synergism of precise mitochondrial damage, mitophagy inhibition and antitumor immunity results in potent therapeutic efficacy without obvious side effects.

ABSTRACT

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to threaten human health, economic development, and national security. Although many vaccines and drugs have been explored to fight against the major pandemic, their efficacy and safety still need to be improved. Cell-based biomaterials, especially living cells, extracellular vesicles, and cell membranes, offer great potential in preventing and treating COVID-19 owing to their versatility and unique biological functions. In this review, the characteristics and functions of cell-based biomaterials and their biological applications in COVID-19 prevention and therapy are described. First the pathological features of COVID-19 are summarized, providing enlightenment on how to fight against COVID-19. Next, the classification, organization structure, characteristics, and functions of cell-based biomaterials are focused on. Finally, the progress of cell-based biomaterials in overcoming COVID-19 in different aspects, including the prevention of viral infection, inhibition of viral proliferation, anti-inflammation, tissue repair, and alleviation of lymphopenia are comprehensively described. At the end of this review, a look forward to the challenges of this aspect is presented.

ABSTRACT

Efferocytosis inhibition is emerging as an attractive strategy for antitumor immune therapy because of the subsequent leak of abundant immunogenic contents. However, the practical efficacy is seriously impeded by the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments. Here, we construct a versatile nanosystem that can not only inhibit the efferocytosis but also boost the following antitumor immunity. MerTK inhibitor UNC2025 is loaded into the bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs), which are then modified with maleimide (mU@OMVs). The prepared mU@OMVs effectively inhibits the efferocytosis by promoting the uptake while preventing the MerTK phosphorylation of tumor associated macrophages, and then captures the released antigens through forming universal thioether bonds. The obtained in situ vaccine effectively transfers to lymph nodes by virtue of the intrinsic features of OMVs, and then provokes intense immune responses that can efficiently prevent the growth, metastasis and recurrence of tumors in mice, providing a generalizable strategy for cancer immunotherapy.

Objective@#To understand prevalence and trend of drinking behavior among middle school students in Quzhou during 2012 to 2022, and to provide a basis for formulating scientific and effective intervention measures for adolescent drinking.@*Methods@#By using stratified cluster sampling method, a questionnaire survey using Zhejiang adolescent health related behavior questionnaire was conducted anonymously in selected classes in May 2012, 2017 and 2022, respectively. Changes of drinking behavior of middle school students in different years were analyzed.@*Results@#The prevalence of ever drinking, current drinking and drunkenness among middle school students in Quzhou decreased from 58.05%, 22.70% and 21.25% in 2012 to 41.83%, 15.35% and 11.54% in 2022, respectively ( χ 2 trend =82.69, 30.00,58.24, P <0.01). In the past 30 days, 66.67% of students reported drinking 1-2 days, the proportion of drinking for 3-5 days increased from 16.36% in 2012 to 26.19% in 2022, the proportion of drinking for 6-19 days decreased from 13.03% in 2012 to 3.40% in 2022. The proportion of buying alcohol increased from 22.12% in 2012 to 35.03% in 2022. The results of the three surveys showed that, now drinking rates, drinking rates, Male students (27.88%,23.96%,18.75%;24.69%,17.44%,13.75%) was higher than the girls (17.60%,17.25%,11.31%;17.87%,10.61%,8.91%), non ordinary high schools (33.96%,34.69%,22.77%;33.65%,23.91%,19.49%) were higher than ordinary high schools (25.82%,18.80%, 12.62 %;25.82%,17.35%,9.94%) and junior middle school (16.53%,15.83%,12.22%;13.93%,8.47%,7.35%).@*Conclusion@#Progress in adolescent drinking control is being made in Quzhou, with the prevalence of ever drinking, current drinking and drunkenness significantly decreased. It is necessary to strengthen the control of drinking behavior among middle school students from the aspects of school, family and society, especially for boys and students in non ordinary high school students.
