ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the relationship of infertility-related stress and depression of infertility women, and the effect of coping style and resilience in it.Methods:A cross sectional study was conducted in 230 infertility women who treated with Assisted Reproductive Technology in Reproductive Medical Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University using convenience sampling method from April 2020 to April 2021 with self-made general information questionnaire, Fertility Problem Inventory, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale and Patients' Health Questionnaire Depression Scale-9 item. And correlation and effect analysis was conducted.Results:Two hundred and nineteen questionnaires were finally collected, the effective recovery rate was 95.2%(219/230). The score of Fertility Problem Inventory was (136.21 ± 27.38) points, the score of Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire was (34.26 ± 7.66) points, the score of 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale was (27.50 ± 6.78) points, the score of Patients' Health Questionnaire Depression Scale-9 item was (4.26 ± 3.83) points. Correlation analysis results showed that infertility-related stress of infertility women was positively correlated with negative coping ( r=0.20, P<0.01) and depression ( r=0.26, P<0.01), negative coping was positively correlated with depression ( r=0.23, P<0.01). Effect analysis results showed that negative coping had a partial mediating effect between infertility-related stress and depression, and the mediating effect size was 0.05, accounting for 15.63% of the total effects. Resilience moderated the second half path of the mediation relationship ( β=-0.137, t=-2.11, P<0.05). Conclusions:The infertility-related stress is a positive predictor of depression. Negative coping has a mediating effect between infertility-related stress and depression, and resilience moderates the effect of negative coping on depression.

ABSTRACT

Plant abiotic stresses negative affects growth and development, causing a massive reduction in global agricultural production. Rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) is a major oilseed crop because of its economic value and oilseed production. However, its productivity has been reduced by many environmental adversities. Therefore, it is a prime need to grow rapeseed cultivars, which can withstand numerous abiotic stresses. To understand the various molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the abiotic stress tolerance and improvement in rapeseed, omics approaches have been extensively employed in recent years. This review summarized the recent advancement in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and their imploration in abiotic stress regulation in rapeseed. Some persisting bottlenecks have been highlighted, demanding proper attention to fully explore the omics tools. Further, the potential prospects of the CRISPR/Cas9 system for genome editing to assist molecular breeding in developing abiotic stress-tolerant rapeseed genotypes have also been explained. In short, the combination of integrated omics, genome editing, and speed breeding can alter rapeseed production worldwide.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the impact of domestic bivalirudin on platelet function during emergency percutane-ous coronary intervention (PCI) .Methods :A total of 100 patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial in-farction who recieved emergency PCI were randomly divided into unfractionated heparin group (UFH group ,n=53) and bivalirudin group (n=47) .Adenyl diphosphoric acid (ADP)-induced platelet aggregation rate was meas-ured and statistically compared between two groups before and after PCI .Results:Before emergency PCI ,there was no significant difference in ADP-induced platelet aggregation rate between two groups (P=0.99) .After emergency PCI ,ADP-induced platelet aggregation rate in bivalirudin group was significantly lower than that of UFH group [ (16.46 ± 10.23)% vs .(25.21 ± 15.91) % , P<0.01] .Conclusion:During percutaneous coronary intervention , compared with routine heparin anticoagulation , bivalirudin , as an anticoagulant , can more significantly inhibit platelet aggregation and possess antiplatelet effect .

ABSTRACT

Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) is one of the most common types of vasculitis disorders in childhood and is characterized by a rash, arthritis, abdominal pain, and renal involvement. T-lymphocyte activation is considered to play a critical role in vasculitis. However, the regulation of the T cells in HSP remains poorly understood. In this study, OX40/OX40L (CD134/CD252) costimulatory pathway, which could promote T-cell activation and long survival, was investigated. Results from 32 HSP patients and 25 healthy donors revealed that the freshly isolated CD4(+) T cells from patients with HSP expressed higher OX40 than that of the cells from healthy individuals. The levels of soluble OX40L (sOX40L) in the sera of patients with HSP were also much higher than the controls. Importantly, significantly elevated levels of OX40 on CD4(+) T cells and sOX40L in sera were detected in patients with HSP with nephritis compared to patients without nephritis, indicating both OX40 upregulation and sOX40L increase were closely associated with disease activity of the patients. Thus, circulating sOX40L could provide excessive costimulatory signal for CD4(+) OX40(+) T-cell activation, and OX40/OX40L signal might contribute to the development of HSP disease.
