RESUMEN

Modelling of transurethral resection (TUR) of the prostate on the animals has shown that changes in the region of postoperative wound progress by inflammatory stages--primary, then secondary alteration. These changes are confirmed by the morphological picture, shifts in enzyme levels, findings of the spectral analysis typical for systemic inflammatory reaction. Approaches to prevention of early postoperative complications based on principal components of pathogenesis are proposed.

RESUMEN

Now heightened interest to a life of military men, to their sexual-reproductive problems is marked. 406 military men has been carried out for sexual-reproductive aspects of behavior estimation. It was established, that in all researched groups the low reproductive installations, an insufficient level of sexual education and the overestimated self-estimation of the knowledge in this area were marked. However, respondents specified problems of reproductive sphere, including sexological character. Thus, taking into account features of sexual-reproductive behavior of military men, the further studying this direction is required with the purpose of perfection of the treatment-and-prophylactic help.

RESUMEN

Nowadays, the interest to the private life of military and to their sexual reproductive problems increases substantially. The questionnaire design was developed to evaluate the sexual reproductive aspects of military behavior. The experimental sample consisted of 492 military persons. It was established that in the all experimental groups the lower reproductive attitude, the insufficient level of sexual education and the overestimated self-esteem in this area were marked. However, the respondents noted the problems of reproductive area including specifically sexological. Thus, taking into account the characteristics of sexual reproductive behavior of military, a further study of this trend is needed to improve the corresponding curative preventive medical care.

RESUMEN

Blood flow in reproductive organs was studied during experimental cessation of blood outflow in the testicular vein. This pathological state was accompanied by disturbances of the complex pathogenesis. The major component was autoregulatory focal ischemia, which resulted from the venoarterial response to venous hypertension.

RESUMEN

The paper provides the evidence on interaction of the endocrine system hypophysis-gonads with varicocele. Gonadotropic hormones and sexual steroids were measured in the blood of varicocele males (47 cases) and of fertile healthy males (17 cases), testosterone in the tissue of the sexual glands and blood of white noninbred rats (40 test against 20 control animals). It was found that in 18% of varicocele patients high levels of FSH were associated with oligo-, pathospermia and changes in spermatogenic epithelium. Interstitial cell stimulating hormone did not shift above the standard in all varicocele patients, while testosterone was low in 15% of them and combined with hypogonadism manifestations. Progesterone rose high in 38% of the examinees. The discussion covers the problem of hyperprogesteronemia origin. Recommendations are given on gonadotropic hormones and sexual steroids assays which are thought useful in examination of the patients to validate pathogenetic treatment.

RESUMEN

Biochemical evaluation of ejaculates from males suffering from varicocele provided evidence on reduced fertility of their gametes mainly due to these cells hypoactivity consequent to insufficient generation of energy supplied during fructose oxidation. Lowered intensity of fructose oxidation in gamete mitochondria led to lactate accumulation in line with ultrastructural derangement of the flagellum and mitochondria with inhibition of dehydrogenases activity. Morphological abnormalities of the gametes are attributed to impaired gametogenesis in reproductive system of men with varicocele.

RESUMEN

An improved television microscope for seminal fluid quality analysis is described. It makes it possible to objectively evaluate the quality of the seminal fluid in terms of the number of sexual cells, mobile gametes and the rate of their movement in a spermatic sample as well as their structural organization. Precision and reproducibility of the results are attained due to an additional device for image assessment. The results of the clinical trials of the device in seminal fluid analysis in fertile and infertile men are presented.

RESUMEN

Clinical trails of a photo-television device for the assessment of the semen by the count of spermatozoa, their mobility and velocity were carried out. Preliminary treatment of the sperm sample TV image, used in this device, helps essentially improve the photomethod resolution. A method for the quantitative estimation of the results of microscopic examination of the semen is described. Use of this device for the assessment of the semen samples from men whose marriage is infertile has shown that gametic velocity and number of their mobile forms are the most informative characteristics of these cells.

RESUMEN

It has been found that the cooling of rats up to +28 degrees and +20 degrees C induced considerable ultrastructural alterations of the plasma membrane, nucleus, acrosome and mitochondria of ejaculated spermatozoa. The data obtained show a correlation between the level of the artificial hypothermia and the number of changed cells. The higher percentage of pathological spermatozoa was revealed in the ejaculate of cooled rats without narcosis. A possibility of the secondary ultrastructural alterations of spermatozoa in the posthypothermal period is discussed.

RESUMEN

It has been shown that artificial hypothermia up to +20 degrees C depresses reproduction function in sexually mature male rats. The data obtained attest to an abrupt decrease in the percentage of effective conceptions over two months after hypothermia. The vital capacity of the embryos was reduced primarily at the expense of high postimplantation mortality. It has been found that hypothermia has no teratogenic effect.
