RESUMEN

The high incidence of chronic pancreatitis (CP) which arise at young people of working age, the development of serious complications are pushing for the development of new diagnostic methods and the search for effective ways to treat this disease. In this regard, a relevant and promising direction is the further study of the mechanisms of pathogenesis and the formation of trophological (including mineral) deficiency in CP, followed by the development of comprehensive programs for their correction. Aim is to study mineral status of patients with chronic pancreatitis, depending on their age. Material and methods. A sample of 218 patients (140 women, 78 men) with CP with exocrine insufficiency aged 18 to 72 years was examined. The control group consisted of 20 healthy individuals who underwent a planned outpatient examination. To assess the mineral status, macronutrients were determined photometrically, iron by the bathophenanthroline method, the remaining trace elements (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd) were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry in blood serum. Results and discussion. Patients with CP at all age groups revealed a statistically significant (p<0.001) decrease in serum concentration of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, copper, zinc, and iron compared to the level in healthy individuals, which increased with age. In the group of patients older than 60 years, the state of hypomineralemia was detected by the level of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, copper, zinc, iron, which required correction of the mineral status. With increasing age of patients with CP, the content of toxic metals (lead and cadmium) increased compared with that in the group of healthy individuals. Сonclusions. The findings suggest that the age of patients with CP is a predictor of mineral deficiency and the accumulation of toxic elements, which must be considered when forming a complex treatment.

RESUMEN

INTRODUCTION: The most common reason of chronic pancreatitis is liver and bile ducts disease: functional disorders, chronic cholecystitis, cholelithiasis and cholecystectomy in medical history. All these changes are associated with the colloidal structure of bile, increased lithogenicity, gallstones formation, Oddi's sphincter dysfunction, dysmotility and inflammation in the bile ducts. THE AIM: to study the effectiveness of using medicine Liveria IC (metadoxine) in standard therapy as well as effect on spectrum of blood serum lipids and structural condition of liver (stiffness) and pancreas in patients with chronic biliary pancreatitis combined with obesity. MATERIALS AND METHOD: 115 patients suffering from chronic biliary pancreatitis and obesity were the subjects of the study. They were compared to etiological factor socioeconomic conditions and nutrition (regular food 5 times a day without aggressive food (fatty, spicy, sour, fried products)). Also the effect of the alcohol factor was excluded. RESULTS: The obtained decrease in stiffness of the liver and pancreas indicates an improvement of their structural state. CONCLUSIONS: Using medication LiveriaIC (metadoxine) as the part of the complex therapy for the patients who are suffering from CBP combined with obesity gives some improvement of the lipid profile indices and the structural condition of liver and pancreas (according to the data of SWE) (р<0.05).

RESUMEN

The expediency of application homeosyniatry by preparations of Traumel S and Placenta Compositum after the offered chart in relation to a complex with classic acupuncture and in relation to the group of the generally accepted treatment has been proved in complex treatment patients with reflex syndromes of lumbar osteochondrosis. A similar conclusion was done after the statistically reliable (P < 0.05) dynamics of parameters of endogenous intoxication, liperoxydation and antioxydant systems of the protection (by the level of katalase, superoxyddismutase, SH-groups, ceruloplasmine).

RESUMEN

Reviewed by a structural condition of the pancreas by ultrasound and scores from the Marseille-Cambridge classification in patients with chronic biliary pancreatitis, including those who had a history of cholecystectomy. Found that after cholecystectomy gland size decreased slightly, but significantly fibrosis is increased. Chronic inflammation and fibrosis of the gland leads to inhibition of both acinar and ductal secretory function, leads to its external and internal secretion deficiency. In assessing coprogram found that most patients with CP present with signs of exocrine insufficiency, including steatorrhea and kreatorrhea that are most pronounced in patients with CP after open cholecystectomy.

RESUMEN

Efficiency of the acupressure methodics of Lyapko applicators including in the treatment of patients with comorbidity of hypertension and chronic pancreatitis is estimated based on the study of the dynamics of the clinic and the state of autonomic nervous system using heart rate variability. The significant autonomic disorders were found in the studied group. More pronounced effect of this method of acupuncture was confirmed for the treatment of comorbidity of the studied pathologies, especially with regard to autonomic disorders.

RESUMEN

The of antihelmintic preparation albendazole using in the complex treatment of patients with chronic pancreatitis with the concomitant ascaridosis was promote regression of clinical demonstration of basic and concomitant diseases (P < 0.05). Options of coprogram and the structural state of pancreas from data of ultrasonography in marks by Marseille-Cambridge classification of chronic pancreatitis, after the conducted treatment became the better (P < 0.05), that established expedience of the use of albendazole in complex treatment of patients with a chronic pancreatitis with a concomitant ascaridosis.

RESUMEN

In chronic pancreatitis patients was found persistent state of oxidative stress on the level of malonic aldehyde, which ran against the lowered levels of antioxidant enzymatic and non-enzymatic composition, and it has been found in the state of hypoproteinemia proteinogram indices (P < 0.05). The use of complex treatment of patients with chronic pancreatitis multivitamin-aminoacid drug Moriamin forte contributes to a significant regression effects oxidative stress and reduces the effects of hypoproteinemia (P < 0.05).

RESUMEN

It was estimated quality of life of 62 of patients with chronic pancreatitis, depending on the presence of concomitant diabetes mellitus by SF-36 survey and the classification of M-ANNHEIM. It was established that these indicators in the chronic pancreatitis compared with the control group were significantly lower according to the SF-36 scale on 27.3% by the physical health component, on 12.8% by the mental health, and with diabetes, respectively--on 37.9% and 23.8% to those in chronic pancreatitis. The severity of chronic pancreatitis with concomitant diabetes was deeper than in the patients without endocrine failure: respectively, the average severity (S) prevailed in 72.7% of patients vs 25%, the cases of expressed and severe severity appeared.

RESUMEN

SUMMARY The article concerns the study of the quality of life of 64 patients on chronic pancreatitis under the influence of correction programs with the inclusion dyadinamic electroneurostimulation on the proposed schemes. It was found that the level of quality of life in chronic pancreatitis under the influence of conventional regimens have increased by an average of 29.1%, with inclusion of zonal schemes dyadinamic electroneurostimulation 48.9%, and after the application of wire method dyadinamic electroneurostimulation--by 54.6 %. This confirms reliable the inclusion of different types dyadinamic electroneurostimulation in complex rehabilitation of patients with chronic pancreatitis.

RESUMEN

Manifestations were studied of systemic osteoporosis in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, primary osteoarthrosis, and ankylosing spondylarthritis. There have been disclosed differently directed changes in mineral density of lumbar spine and thigh bone segments related to phase of the illness as well as to the treatments administered, patient age, and impact of the post-menopausal period (in female patients). A conclusion has been reached that it is necessary that the above-mentioned studies be made in order that we might choose relevant therapeutic alternatives for patients with rheumatic afflictions of the joints.
