RESUMEN
The article reports the results of studying the lymph tissue of mesenteric and cervical lymphatic nodes in C57BL/6N mice after the 30-day orbital flight onboard biosatellite Bion-M1. Histological and morphometric investigations revealed changes in the ratio of the nodes structural-functional zones and microstructure. Reductions in reticular cells, plasmocytes, macrophages and blasts in the nodes point to degradation of both humoral and cellular immunity.

It has been established that during short term body antiorthostatic positions lymphatic system carries out compensatory function, unloading the cardiovascular system from redundant exercise. The contractile activity of pectoral channel and lymphatic nodes in weightlessness (antiorthostatic influence) was studied. The functional role of neck lymph nodes is expressed by depositing of liquid during redistribution of the blood. The atony of neck lymph nodes as well as loss of pectoral channel and lymph nodes decrease the receptor sensitivity of vessels and nodes to the action of vasoactive substances.

The spontaneous contractile activity of isolated lymph nodes and the lymph flow from intestine lymphatic vessel in antiorthostatic posture of rats with an inclination angle of 30 degrees during 7-14 days, was decreased. Contractions of the rat lymph nodes in response to actions of adrenaline, acetylcholine and histamine were diminished. There are changes of biochemical components of lymph and blood plasma with simultaneous decrease of the blood plasma volume. It is concluded that the lymphatic system on antiorthostatic posture plays the compensatory role with the purpose of stabilization of homeostasis in the brain.

After antiorthostatic attitude of rats during 12 days, the contractile activity of their isolated lymphangions of the thoracic duct was studied. The amplitude of contractions was found to be decreased as well as the effects of serotonine, histamine, and acetylcholine, whereas that of adrenaline increased. The latter finding suggests enhancing of the activity of lymphatic vessels' adrenergic structures in antiorthostatic.

The influence of i.v. infusion of adrenaline on the lymph flow and arterial pressure was studied in acute experiments on dogs with experimental renovascular hypertension. A reflex increase of the lymph flow by 268% above the initial level was revealed, as well as more obvious alterations in the arterial pressure, decrease of latencies and increase of the response duration in hypertensive dogs as compared with normotensive ones. After infusion of adrenaline together with obsydan we observed the lymph flow to be 2-fold enhanced. Pyrroxan has abolished the effect of adrenaline on alterations in the lymph flow and arterial pressure. Increase of adrenoreactivity of the lymphatic system under hypertension is caused mainly by alpha-adrenoreceptor activation.

In acute experiments on anesthetized puppies of one-day to three months of age the influence of orthostatic posture (30 degrees) on the lymph flow and arterial pressure was studied. One-day old puppies developed an increase in arterial pressure whereas older animals developed opposite changes. The lymph flow was drastically diminished in orthostatic posture and increased when the animals returned to the initial position. The time course and the intensity of the alterations in the lymph flow depended on the age. In growing animals subjected to passive orthostatic tests the characteristics of alterations in the lymph flow were related to morphological and functional development of the lymphatic channel in postnatal ontogenesis.

In experiments on 1-day to 3-month-old puppies and adult dogs, studies have been made on the lymph flow from the thoracic duct. Within the first week of postnatal life, the lymph volume was found to be high decreasing gradually in further development. In adult dogs, the volume of the lymph flowing from the thoracic duct per unit of time and per body mass was 3 times lower than that in 1-week-old puppies. Possible mechanisms of these differences are discussed.

The data obtained suggest double regulation of the activity of lymphatic hearts. Activation of the local mechanisms of regulation occurred in increasing production of lymph and stretching of cavity of the lymphatic heart and adjacent subcutaneous sack.

Studies have been made on the content of catecholamines (norepinephrine, adrenaline, dihydroxyphenylalanine) in the wall of the thoracic lymphatic duct of puppies during their first 3 months of postnatal life. It was found that within this period, the content of norepinephrine increases, that of adrenaline remains unchanged, whereas dihydroxyphenylalanine is detected only in animals of the first month. The increase in norepinephrine content indicates gradual maturation of the adrenergic innervation in the wall of the lymphatic duct.

Studies have been made on functional development of influences of the splanchnic nerve upon the lymph flow in puppies. It was shown that during the first week of postnatal life of puppies, the thoracic duct functionally is not yet ready to participate in vasomotor reactions of the organism to stimulation of the splanchnic nerve. Active role of the thoracic duct in vasomotor reactions to stimulation of the splanchnic nerve was initially noted after the first week of postnatal life of animals.

Centripetal intracarotid injection of hypertonic sodium chloride solution to the tortoise Testudo horsfieldi caused an increase in the blood pressure and blood supply to the skeletal muscles. The protein content of the blood and lymph decreased, their fractional composition being changed. The results obtained indicate that in the tortoise the lymphatic system is involved into realization of osmoregulatory reflex.

In acute experiments on puppies from the age of 1 day to 6 months, the influence of the anterior limbic area of the cortex on the lymph-flow in the thoracic duct was studied. Electrical stimulation of the anterior limbic area of the cortex in 1-7 days old puppies did not change neither the lymph-flow, nor the arterial pressure. Beginning with the age of 8-9 days, a decrease of the lymph-flow and a rise in the arterial pressure following electrical stimulation were noted. In 3 months old puppies, a functional discrimination of the influence of different limbic cortex areas on the lymph-flow was observed which is characteristic for adult dogs.
