RESUMEN
In this research the experimental analytical method of balancing culture media, based on the determination of the yield of the target product, i.e. staphylococcal protein A, has been used. The medium, developed in the course of this research work on the basis of a hydrolysate of protein-containing waste products of the tanning industry, makes it possible to achieve the growth of producer strains similar to that achieved in peptone-yeast medium. The parameters of the growth of S. aureus strain A-676 and the biological activity of protein A obtained in the newly developed medium have been studied.

The present article deals with the study of the multicyclic process of the cultivation of B. amyloliquefaciens in a liquid medium prepared from natural raw materials and with obtaining restrictase Bam H1 from the biomass with different microbiological characteristics. The selected medium has been found to be suitable for the realization of the multicyclic cultivation process on an industrial scale. The tendency towards a drop in the level of nonspecific nucleases simultaneously with a decrease in the specific growth rate has been revealed. A simplified scheme for the purification of the restricting endonuclease is proposed.

The authors assessed quantitatively inactivation of lyophilized cells of EB strain by the action of aerosol stress and rehydration using the method of bacterial nucleoide staining. With the advance of dust aerosol "ages" microbial sensitivity to rehydration increased and to the action of aerosol stress--decreased. The method can be used to calculate the aspiration dose in aerogenic vaccination and also to assess the efficacy of lyophilized bacteria restoration.

The authors present the results of the study of morphology and physico-biochemical indices of periodic and continuous population of typhoid bacilli under conditions of glucose limit and excess in the medium. Changes in the parameters of cell distribution by length proved to reflect the physiologico-biochemical processes in the population. The results of the study of the ultrastructure of typhoid bacilli of the "aerobic" and "anaerobic" population in continuous cultivation are presented. A possibility of application of morphological tests for the assessment of stability, homogeneity, and viability of the population is discussed.
