RESUMEN

The Ovipennis bicolora Fang, 1986 and Ovipennis binghami Hampson, 1903 species-groups are reviewed. The identities of the records of O.binghami reported outside of its type locality are clarified. Ovipennis bicolora is rediscovered with the male and female genitalia illustrated for the first time. The male and female genitalia of O.thomasi ern, 2009 are illustrated for the first time and its specific status is confirmed. Five new species are described: O.hanae S.-Y. Huang, Volynkin & ern, sp. n. (Southwestern China), O.regina Volynkin, ern, S.-Y. Huang & Saldaitis, sp. n. (Northern Thailand and Southwestern China), O.takia Volynkin, S.-Y. Huang & ern, sp. n. (Western and Central Thailand), O.kitchingi Volynkin, S.-Y. Huang & ern, sp. n. (Northern Thailand), and O.sapa Volynkin, S.-Y. Huang, ern & Saldaitis, sp. n. (Northern Vietnam). Adults and genitalia of the new species are illustrated and compared with its congeners.

RESUMEN

The genus Gandhara Moore, 1878 is reviewed. Four new species are described: Gandhara typica Volynkin & ern, sp. n. (Nepal, northeast India, northern Myanmar and northern Thailand), Gandhara clava Volynkin & ern, sp. n. (Laos and northern Thailand), Gandhara emgai Volynkin & ern, sp. n. (northern Vietnam), and Gandhara interrogativa Volynkin, ern, S.-Y. Huang & H.-L. Hu, sp. n. (northern Vietnam and southern China). Gandhara typica sp. n. is fixed as the type species of the genus Gandhara whereas Lithosia serva Walker, 1854 considered by authors as the type species of Gandhara by misidentification is transferred to the genus Collita Moore, 1878. Two new combinations are introduced: Gandhara conica (Fang, 2000), comb. n. and Collita serva (Walker, 1854), comb. n. A lectotype is designated for Lithosia serva Walker, 1854 in order to stabilise the nomenclature. Adults as well as male and female genitalia are illustrated.

RESUMEN

The Cyana adelina (Staudinger, 1887) species-group is established and reviewed. Three new species and one new subspecies are described: Cyana yunnanensis regia ssp. n. (Northern Thailand and northern Laos), Cyana dubernardi sp. n. (China: Yunnan), Cyana khami sp. n. (central Laos), and Cyana karsticola sp. n. (northern Laos). Two new synonyms are established: Cyana yunnanensis yunnanensis (Hampson, 1903) (Chionaema) = Chionaema hoenei Daniel, 1952, syn. n., and Cyana griseilinea de Joannis, 1930 = Cyana succincta ern, 2016, syn. n. Lectotypes are designated for Bizone adelina Staudinger, 1887 and Bizone pratti Elwes, 1890. Adults, male and female genitalia are illustrated.

The generic placement and the taxonomic structure of the complex traditionally identified in the collections as Tigrioides leucanioides (Walker, 1862) are revised. Two new genera and ten new species are described: Leucanithosia gen. n., Leucanithosia diehli sp. n. (Indonesia: northern Sumatra Island), Leucanithosia paraliaka sp. n. (Indonesia: northern Sumatra Island), Leucanithosia nansabon sp. n. (northern Myanmar), Leucanithosia witti sp. n. (Thailand, Laos, Southwest China (Yunnan) and Northeast India), Leucanithosia leptivalva sp. n. (the Philippines: Palawan Island), Leucanithosia inusitata sp. n. (Indonesia: northern Sumatra Island), Leucanithosia lampunga sp. n. (Indonesia: southern Sumatra Island), Philippinithosia gen. n., Philippinithosia lourensi sp. n. (the Philippines: Luzon, Negros and Mindoro Islands), Philippinithosia settelei sp. n. (the Philippines: Mindanao Island), and Philippinithosia reducta sp. n. (the Philippines: Mindanao, Leyte and Samar Islands). A new combination is established: Leucanithosia leucanioides (Walker, 1862), comb. n. The lectotype is designated for Lithosia leucanioides Walker, 1862. Adults, male and female genitalia are illustrated.

RESUMEN

Three new species of the genus Miltochrista Hbner, [1819] are described: M. idiomorfa sp. n. (India, Nepal, N Myanmar and SW China), M. dankana sp. n. (India and north-western Myanmar) and M. etalina sp. n. (Northeast India). Miltochrista straminea Walker, 1856, stat. rev. is restored to species level. The lectotype for Miltochrista straminea is designated. Adults, male and female genitalia of the new and similar species are illustrated.

RESUMEN

The taxonomy of Barsine striata (Bremer Grey, 1852) and B. pulchra (Butler, 1877) is revised. Three new species are described: B. evrys sp. n. (Central and South Vietnam, and South-East Thailand), B. robusta sp. n. (North Thailand), and B. laotiana sp. n. (entral Laos). One taxon is revived from synonymy and upgraded to subspecies level: Barsine pulchra pulcherrima (Staudinger, 1887), stat. rev. Miltochrista gratiosa kurilensis Bryk, 1942, is excluded from the synonymy with Barsine striata and placed in synonymy with B. pulchra (=Miltochrista gratiosa kurilensis Bryk, 1942, stat. rev.). Lectotypes for Lithosia striata Bremer Grey, 1852, Hypoprepia lanceolata Walker, 1854 and Miltochrista pulchra Butler, 1877 are designated. Adults, male and female genitalia are illustrated.

RESUMEN

Two new species of the subgenus Cryptanaema de Vos, 2017 of the genus Cyana Walker, 1854 are described from eastern Indonesia: Cyana (Cryptanaema) ngata sp. n. (Western New Guinea) and Cyana (Cryptanaema) sibela sp. n. (Maluku Islands). Adults, male and female genitalia of the new and similar species are illustrated.

RESUMEN

The genus Stictane Hampson is reviewed in Thailand, which is represented with 11 species including seven newly recorded and one newly described species, S. bokorensis, S. cambodiensis, S. fuscus, S. gemina, S. kualabohi, S. mlcochi, S. transversana and S. trigonica sp. n. Females of S. kualabohi and S. cambodensis are studied for the first time. Illustrations showing the general view of the body of adults and genitalia of all examined species from Thailand are provided.

RESUMEN

The new genus Cincinasura gen. n. is described for the type species Asura synestramena Hampson, 1900. A new species, Cincinasura cyclophora sp. n. is described from the island of Sulawesi (Indonesia). A new combination is established: Cincinasura synestramena (Hampson, 1900), comb. n. Adults together with male and female genitalia of the new and similar genera are illustrated.

RESUMEN

The Miltochrista pudibunda (Snellen, 1880) species-group is reviewed. A new synonym is established: M. pudibunda = M. irregularis Rothschild, 1913, syn. nov. The species previously treated by authors (since Hampson (1900)) as M. pudibunda is described as new: M. berdepsebunda sp. nov. A lectotype female is designated for Miltochrista irregularis Rothschild, 1913. Adults together with male and female genitalia of all species of the group are illustrated, diagnoses are provided for each species.

RESUMEN

The genus Dolgoma Moore, 1878 from Thailand is reviewed. Three new species are described: Dolgoma diktyo sp. n. (Chiang Mai Prov.), Dolgoma kawila sp. n. (Chiang Mai Prov.) and Dolgoma khelanga sp. n. (Lampang Prov.). The adults and the male and the female genitalia of the new and the similar species are illustrated.

The genus Hampsonascia Volynkin, 2019 is restored from the synonymy with the genus Sesapa Walker, 1854 and subdivided into two species-groups. Five new species are described: H. thaifascia sp. n. (N Thailand), H. phukha sp. n. (N Thailand), H. vanlanga sp. n. (N Vietnam), H. saldaitisi sp. n. ( Vietnam) and H. aulaca sp. n. (N Vietnam). A new combination is established: Hampsonascia dentifascia (Hampson, 1894), comb. nov. Adults together with male and female genitalia are illustrated.

RESUMEN

The genus Hypeugoa Leech, 1899 is synonymized with the nominate subgenus of the genus Stigmatophora Staudinger, 1881: Stigmatophora = Hypeugoa, syn. nov., and a new combination for the type species is established: Stigmatophora flavogrisea (Leech, 1899), comb. nov. Hypeugoa flavogrisea orientalis Daniel, 1951 is upgraded to species level and also assigned with Stigmatophora: Stigmatophora orientalis (Daniel, 1951), stat. comb. nov. Hypeugoa radaricola ern, 2009 is transferred to the genus Miltochrista Hbner, [1819]: Miltochrista radaricola (ern, 2009), comb. nov. A new species similar to M. radaricola, Miltochrista eugoana sp. nov. is described from North Thailand. The original citation of the holotype label of M. radaricola is corrected. Adults together with male and female genitalia of the new and the similar species are illustrated.
