RESUMEN

Objective: Based on machine learning method, four types of early postoperative frailty risk prediction model of enterostomy patients were constructed to compare the performance of each model and provide the basis for preventing early postoperative frailty of elderly patients with enterostomy. Methods: The prospective convenience sampling method was conducted and 362 early postoperative enterostomy patients were selected in three hospitals from July 2020 to November 2023 in Shanghai, four different prediction models of Support Vector Machine (SVM), Bayes, XG Boost, and Logistic regression were used and compared the test effects of the four models (MCC, F1, AUC, and Brier index) to judge the classification performance of the four models in the data of this study. Results: A total of 21 variables were included in this study, and the predictors mainly covered demographic information, stoma-related information, quality of life, anxiety and depression, and frailty. The validated models on the test set are XGBoost, Logistic regression, SVM prediction model, and Bayes on the MCC and F1 scores; on the AUC, XGBoost, Logistic regression, Bayes, and SVM prediction model; on the Brier scores, Bayes, Logistic regression, and XGBoost. Conclusion: XGBoost based on machine learning method is better than SVM prediction model, Logistic regression model and Bayes in sensitivity and accuracy. Quality of life in the early postoperative period can help guide clinical patients to identify patients at high risk of frailty and reduce the incidence of early postoperative frailty in elderly patients with enterostomy.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the application effect of FMEA(failure mode and effect analysis) in prevention of aspiration after stroke. Methods From October 2011 to April 2012 48 stroke patients in our department without implementation of the FMEA management mode were set as the control group. From May 2012 to November 2012,another 48 cases were set as the observation group,in addition to the routine neurological nursing care,we also used FMEA to find forward-looking reason of the failure mode of aspiration and operation process analysis, evaluation, calculation and identify the risk factors of aspiration in patients with cerebral apoplexy and high-risk operation steps, prevention priority action plan and improvement measures. The incidence of aspiration,RPN value of six high risk factors, and satisfaction degree and mastering degree of aspiration related knowledge by patients and their families were compared. Results In the observation group, the crisis values of 6 high risk factors was significantly lower than those of the control group.Significant differences existed in satisfaction degree and mastering degree of aspiration related knowledge by patients and their families as well as hospitalization time. There was no aspiration cases during hospitalization in the observation group while 3 aspiration cases in the control group. Conclusions Application of FMEA to evaluate patients with swallowing disorder after stroke, analyzing and taking relevant measures can effectively prevent risks, reduce the occurrence of aspiration, improve the quality of nursing and promote patients' recovery.

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>[corrected] To investigate the role of glutathione (GSH) and γ-glutamylcysteine synthetase (γ-GCS) in lupus nephritis.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Spectrophotometry was used to measure the oxidative/anti-oxidative indices including malonyldialdehyed (MDA) and GSH in the kidney of MRL/lpr lupus mice. Quantitative PCR and Western blotting were used to detected the expression of γ-GCS.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The level of GSH was lowered whereas the level of MDA increased significantly in the kidney tissue of MRL/lpr lupus mice as compared with that in normal control mice. The expression of γ-GCS mRNA and protein was significantly decreased in MRL/lpr lupus mice (P<0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>MRL/lpr lupus mice have abnormal oxidative stress in the kidney tissue, where the expression of γ-GCS decreased to lead to reduced GSH production, damaged antioxidative capacity, and eventually exacerbation of oxidative damage in the kidney.</p>

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To shorten the duration of seed germinating, improve seed emergence and eventurally to establish a practical method for seeding of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis seed.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>To study the effect of some factors (temperature, sowing time, covering-soil depth, plastic film ) on seed emergence of P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The most suitable temperature for embryonic post-maturity and seed germinating is 18-20 degrees C. Paris seed could emerge in April when it was transfer to a low temperature 0-10 degrees C for 2-4 months after being treated under 18-20 degrees C for 3-4 months. For seed emergence, the best sowing time was before April. The suitable soil depth was about 1 cm. It is a better way to cover the seedling bed with black plastic film for improving the emergence percentage.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Above results provide seedling techniques of P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis.</p>
