El actual sistema de formación especializada mediante residencia en España tiene su origen en 1963, siendo el radiodiagnóstico una de las especialidades iniciales. Las normas que rigen actualmente la formación especializada son de 3 tipos: a) profesionales, Ley de Ordenación de las Profesiones Sanitarias; b) laborales, Estatuto del Residente, y c) educativas: Nueva Ley de Especialidades y Programa de Radiodiagnóstico.Este sistema incluye una relación contractual exclusiva con la entidad formadora; un sistema de acceso unificado, y una formación programada, tutelada y evaluada, basada en la responsabilización progresiva, en unidades acreditadas. El residente tiene derecho a ser formado y evaluado, a participar en su unidad docente y a sus derechos laborales. A cambio, se obliga a realizar las tareas del programa y a cumplir las normas del centro. El residente de primer año deberá ser supervisado directamente pasándose después a una progresiva delegación (AU)

There are currently three types of regulations that govern the training of specialists: a) professional, The Health Professions Law; b) labor: The Residents’ Statute; and c) educational, The New Medical Specialties Law and the Diagnostic Imaging Program (AU)

The current system for training medical specialists in Spain originated in 1963, and diagnostic radiology was one of the first specialties recognized. There are currently three types of regulations that govern the training of specialists: a) professional, The Health Professions Law; b) labor: The Residents' Statute; and c) educational, The New Medical Specialties Law and the Diagnostic Imaging Program This system consists of an exclusive contract with the training organization, a unified system of access, and a training program in accredited units that includes tutoring, evaluation, and progressive assignment of responsibilities. Residents have a right to be trained and evaluated, to participate in the teaching unit, and to their labor rights. In exchange, they must complete the tasks assigned in the program and abide by the institution's rules. Residents must be supervised directly in the first year and thereafter they should be given progressively more responsibility.

[The diagnosis and treatment of epileptic pseudocrises]. / Diagnóstico y tratamiento de pseudocrisis epilépticas.

We evaluated 30 patients with a tentative diagnosis of epilepsy who did not respond to anticonvulsant therapy. Crisis were induced through suggestion with simultaneous EEG recording. Pseudoseizures were revealed in 10 patients. A depressive syndrome was present in 5 and other psychiatric disorders in the rest. Psychiatric therapy was effective in suppressing seizures in 7 compliant patients. We feel that suggestive induction of crisis is an effective diagnostic tool for identification of pseudoseizures.
