RESUMEN

The key challenges in cloud computing encompass dynamic resource scaling, load balancing, and power consumption. Accurate workload prediction is identified as a crucial strategy to address these challenges. Despite numerous methods proposed to tackle this issue, existing approaches fall short of capturing the high-variance nature of volatile and dynamic cloud workloads. Consequently, this paper introduces a novel model aimed at addressing this limitation. This paper presents a novel Multiple Controlled Toffoli-driven Adaptive Quantum Neural Network (MCT-AQNN) model to establish an empirical solution to complex, elastic as well as challenging workload prediction problems by optimizing the exploration, adaption, and exploitation proficiencies through quantum learning. The computational adaptability of quantum computing is ingrained with machine learning algorithms to derive more precise correlations from dynamic and complex workloads. The furnished input data point and hatched neural weights are refitted in the form of qubits while the controlling effects of Multiple Controlled Toffoli (MCT) gates are operated at the hidden and output layers of Quantum Neural Network (QNN) for enhancing learning capabilities. Complimentarily, a Uniformly Adaptive Quantum Machine Learning (UAQL) algorithm has evolved to functionally and effectually train the QNN. The extensive experiments are conducted and the comparisons are performed with state-of-the-art methods using four real-world benchmark datasets. Experimental results evince that MCT-AQNN has up to 32%-96% higher accuracy than the existing approaches.

BACKGROUND: Breast cancer in males is still an issue that is not known to majority of the population across the globe. People in general are not aware that breast cancer can occur in males too as increasing campaigns are done to raise awareness in females. OBJECTIVE: To assess the level of awareness of male breast cancer (MBC) in males of urban population residing in the Soami Nagar colony, Panchsheel, New Delhi. METHODOLOGY: A cross sectional survey was conducted through a self-administered questionnaire to know the awareness of the occurrence of MBC, its diagnosis and criticality. RESULTS: It was found that only 19% of men were aware of the fact that breast cancer can occur in males as well and remaining 81% were ignorant. CONCLUSION: Because a whopping 81% of the surveyed population did not know that breast cancer could even occur in males, they were made aware about all the symptoms to look for and not to ignore any sort of bulge/lumps/knots that they may feel in their breast region or under the armpits. Findings of this study would serve as a baseline to focus on making people aware of this life threatening problem. Increased awareness of MBC would help males to discuss the problem in initial phase and reach out to primary health care physicians for early diagnosis and treatment.

Bean common mosaic virus (BCMV) causes severe disease in Phaseolus vulgaris plants. One of its non structural protein, the helper-component proteinase (HcPro) involves in multiple roles in aphid transmission, RNA binding, suppression of gene silencing and protease activity. The multifunctional role of HcPro hint towards its regulation at multiple host cellular sites. The mechanisms of these regulatory activities are poorly understood. Therefore, it is very important to study the molecular level interaction of HcPro with different cellular components. In this study, we demonstrate that the HcPro interacts with RuBisCo, an enzyme of chloroplast origin which might plays a crucial role in virus infection. A further line of experiments were carried out with factors of nuclear origin. Due to nucleic acid binding activity of HcPro, it showed interaction with dsDNA of nucleosome, as ascertained through electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA). Interestingly, HcPro interacts with host nucleoprotein histones, H3 and H4. The gel-overlay assay and native electrophoresis-western blot analysis (NEWeB) revealed a direct interaction of BCMV HcPro with host nucleosome and with histones. These findings suggest that the BCMV through HcPro, not only utilize the host cytoplasmic components but also use host nuclear factors for its propagation and disease development.

The coat protein (CP) is the only structural protein present in the polyprotein of bean common mosaic virus. The well known characteristics of the CP are self-oligomerization and nucleic acid binding activity. The studies of the coat protein mutants revealed that the oligomeric property of CP solely depends on the amino-terminal residues and the nucleic acid binding domain present at the 194-202 residue position. The 3'UTR RNA of the virus showed high binding affinity with the RNA binding domain as compared to the 5'UTR RNA. Further, the intrinsic fluorescence study of the CP also suggested that the N- and C-terminal of CP contains a highly disordered region. The present study also illustrates that the coat protein contains a conserved RNA binding pocket among the potyviruses, but displays divergent oligomerization propensities due to the difference in residue at the N- and C-terminal.
