RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: The robotic instrument of the da Vinci surgical system determines the accuracy of robotic-assisted surgery, However, the most effective cleaning method of robotic equipment is a challenge for healthcare professionals. This study compared three da Vinci robot-assisted surgery manipulators to detect the effect of "non-destructive" testing of the cleaning effect by two different methods. METHODS: The post-surgical cleaning of the da Vinci robotic instruments in the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University and the Shenzhen Second People's Hospital was performed using two different processes from January 2019 to January 2020: manual joint automatic ultrasonic cleaning and automatic mechanical cleaning. The efficacy of visual estimation, the residual protein assay (quantitative) and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) biological biofluorescence detection of the cleanliness of the mechanical instrument's work (distal working end) surface and the shaft's inner chamber was compared. If the cleaning effect of any position on the surface or inner cavity of the manipulator did not qualify, the entire robotic instrument was judged as disqualified. RESULTS: A total of 198 cases of da Vinci robotic instrument postoperative cleanliness data were collected. The qualifying rates of automatic ultrasonic cleaning were 96.97% by visual estimation, 93.94% by residual protein assay and 60.61% by ATP biological fluorescence detection. The respective rates for automatic mechanical cleaning were 100% by visual estimation, 90.91% by residual protein assay and 66.67% by ATP biological fluorescence detection. CONCLUSIONS: The cleaning of the da Vinci robotic instrument detected by "non-destructive" residual protein assay or ATP biological fluorescence detection is more accurate than visual estimation.

We aimed to understand the evaluation of different Bowie-Dick test (B-D test) on the performance of pressure steam sterilization equipment in the case of simulated gas leakage, and we selected a pulsating vacuum steam sterilizer to set 4 different gas leakage levels: 1.1, 1.3, 1.5, and 1.7 mbar/min during the B-D test phase. In terms of methods, 4 different brands of B-D test kits (devices) were tested at 4 different leakage rates, and a total of 48 experiments were conducted. The results from univariate analysis revealed that there are statistically significant differences in the judgment of test results among different personnel and brands. The results from multivariate logistic regression analysis displayed that the difference between different personnel was statistically significant (χ = 45.34, P < .001); the difference between different products was statistically significant (χ = 129.37, P < .001); and there was no statistically significant difference between different degree of leakage (χ = 6.99, P > .05). Result judgments of brand 1 and brand 2 are susceptible to subjective factors. The judgment of brand 3 is intuitive and consistent with the evaluation result of brand 4. In conclusion, the order of capacity to evaluate air leakage from best to worst is brand 4→brand 3→brand 1→brand 2.

BACKGROUND: Light is the main source of energy and, as such, is one of the most important environmental factors for plant growth, morphogenesis, and other physiological responses. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous non-coding RNAs that contain 21-24 nucleotides (nt) and play important roles in plant growth and development as well as stress responses. However, the role of miRNAs in the light response is less studied. We used tomato seedlings that were cultured in red light then transferred to blue light for 2 min to identify miRNAs related to light response by high-throughput sequencing. RESULTS: A total of 108 known miRNAs and 141 predicted novel miRNAs were identified in leaf samples from tomato leaves treated with the different light qualities. Among them, 15 known and 5 predicted novel miRNAs were differentially expressed after blue light treatment compared with the control (red light treatment). KEGG enrichment analysis showed that significantly enriched pathways included zeatin biosynthesis (ko00908), homologous recombination (ko03440), and plant hormone signal transduction (ko04075). Zeatin biosynthesis and plant hormone signal transduction are related to plant hormones, indicating that plant hormones play important roles in the light response. CONCLUSION: Our results provide a theoretical basis for further understanding the role of miRNAs in the light response of plants.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical effect of early rehabilitation combined with abdomen needle therapy for the motor function and psychological obstacle of stroke based on the western medical treatment. METHODS: Ninety patients with acute stroke were randomly divided into an observation group A,an observation group B and a control group, 30 cases in each group. Conventional western medical treatment and early rehabilitation for the affected limbs wete applied in the three groups for one month. Besides,abdomen needle therapy was used on Qihai(CV 6),Guanyuan(CV 4),Tianshu(ST 25),Daheng(SP 15),Huaroumen(ST 24),Wailing(ST 26),Shangfengshidian,Shangfengshiwaidian,Xiafengshidian and Xiafengshixiadian in the observation group A. The needles were retained for 20 min without activity of the affected limbs. Based on the treatment as the group A,early rehabilitation was adopted in the observation group B. All treatment was given once a day,and 10 times were taken as a course. Three courses were required with two days at the interval. Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD) and China stroke scale(CSS) were used before and after treatment. RESULTS: Scores of FMA、HAMA、HAMD and CSS after treatment were improved than those before treatment in the three groups(all P<0.05). All the above scores of the two observation groups were better than those of the control group(all P<0.05). The scores of HAMA and HAMD of the observation group B were superior to those of the observation group A(both P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Conventional treatment combined with abdomen needle therapy can improve the motor function and the psychological obstacle of stroke,and the effect is better than that of the conventional treatment. Early rehabilitation based on the two therapeutic methods can help relieve psychological status.
