RESUMEN
Soft tissue triangle notching represents a complex challenge in rhinoplasty. To prevent this esthetic complication, various techniques have been developed. When soft tissue triangle notching occurs, both surgical procedures and nonsurgical methods like steroid injections and taping can be considered. Surgical management of alar and tip deformities involves the use of cartilage grafts and cartilage flaps. While cartilage grafts are effective in most cases, they may have associated limitations. On the other hand, cartilage flaps have advantages over cartilage grafts, including easier fixation, avoidance of cartilage harvesting, and the ability to use similar tissue for reconstructing the recipient site. In this study, we present a novel cartilage flap technique for addressing soft tissue triangle retraction, suitable for open, closed, and preservation rhinoplasty approaches.
RESUMEN
This is the image of dentigerous cyst detected in the medial wall of maxillary sinus, a rare location for the mentioned cyst, which emphasizes the superiority of radiographic features from the site of the lesion. Moreover, the present case showed no facial asymmetry despite the extension of the lesion.
RESUMEN
Through this case report, we review a rare radiographic finding within the nasal cavity and its histopathological findings in order to emphasize the importance of familiarizing oneself with all radiographic findings, regardless of their rarity.
RESUMEN
We described a type IIIb dens invaginatus, its root canal treatment, and results on 3- and 12-month visits. Despite its significant challenges, proper endodontic therapy in such cases can cause positive prognosis and successful outcome.
RESUMEN
In this case report, we have highlighted the probability of coinciding multiple dental anomalies, such as SMMCI, taurodontism, and oligodontia. Thus, further research is necessary to establish a correlation between oligodontia, taurodontism, and SMMCI.
