[ОPTIMIZATION OF PREOPERATIVE PREPARATION AND CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT OF OBTURATION JAUNDICE, OCCURRING ON BACKGROUND OF BILIARY CALCULOUS DISEASE].

Оbturation jaundice (ОJ) on background of biliary calculous disease (BCD) was diagnosed in 61 patients. There was studied the impact of L­lysine escinate and glutargin on the treatment results, which were included in complex of standard preoperative preparation, and what had transformed into conservative treatment and disappearing of ОJ without operative intervention. In accordance to the biochemical investigations results, which characterize a functional state of the liver, OJ had disappeared more rapidly while application of the treatment proposed. Positive results of treatment had witnessed actuality of the trend choosed and necessity of its further studying.

Ultrahigh refractive index sensitivity of TE-polarized electromagnetic waves in graphene at the interface between two dielectric media.

The behavior of the TE and TM electromagnetic waves in graphene at the interface between two semi-infinite dielectric media is studied. The dramatic influence on the TE waves propagation even at very small changes in the optical contrast between the two dielectric media is predicted. Frequencies of the TE waves are found to lie only in the window determined by the contrast. We consider this effect in connection with the design of graphene-based optical gas sensor. Near the frequency, where the imaginary part of the conductivity of graphene becomes zero, ultrahigh refractive index sensitivity and very low detection limit are revealed. The considered graphene-based optical gas sensor outperforms characteristics of modern volume refractive index sensors by several orders of magnitude.

[Fragment of the all-Ukrainian investigation of the microflora sensitivity to antibacterial preparations in patients with intra-abdominal surgical infection].

All-Ukrainian investigation of microflora sensitivity to antibacterial preparations in patients with intraabdominal infection (IAI) have included studying of microbial landscape of the abdominal cavity content in IAI, and the causing agents sensitivity to main antibacterial preparations was determined, including those, manufactured by corporation "Arterium" (Ukraine).

[Directions of improvement of psycho-physiological supply of professional activity of specialists of manipulation of spacecrafts].

Were determined components of systems of guarantee of security of activity of specialists of manipulation of spacecrafts (SC): abidance by general organizational-methodological rules and principles of work, excluding violations in organization of duty, preventing of nonfulfillment and failure of sessions of control by SC, determination and deleting negative factors of operative activity, guarantee of safety of system "man-mechanism-environment." Were determined peculiarities of activity of specialists of manipulation of spacecrafts, their professionally important qualities, which had to be considered in effectuating of professional psycho-selection. Were shown regularities of changes in functional state and professional working capacity of operators of command-measured complexes during daily duty and during cycle of a year. Was made a conclusion about necessity of improvement of system of psychophysiological accompaniment of activity of specialists of manipulation of SC.

[Diagnostic and prognostic significance of the blood neutrophils functional activity in patients with an acute destructive pancreatitis]. / Diagnostychne ta prohnostychne znachennia pokaznykiv funktsional'noï aktyvnosti neitrofil'nykh hranulotsytiv krovi y khvorykh z hostrym destruktyvnym pankreatytom.

The neutrophils functional state was studied in 101 patients with an acute destructive pancreatitis (DP), complicated by parapancreatitis, in 20 patients with edematic pancreatitis and in 25 healthy persons using cytochemical reactions with determination of the enzymes activity of alkaline phosphatase, myeloperoxidase, and also of lysosomic-cation proteins, phospholipids and glycogen. The enzymatic contents of neutrophils changes in acute period of destructive pancreatitis (DP) are causing their function inhibition, promoting the infection complications occurrence. The neutrophils functional activity indexes may be used in early diagnosis and prognostication of the DP course.
