The article is devoted to the life journey and professional activity of Lipa Avrumovich Khodorkov, one of the most famous organizer of native military medicine. Great attention is paid to his work in office as a chief of medical-evacuation headquarter of the Main army medical department of the Red Forces during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. Stages of service of L.A. Khodorkov in offices as a deputy chief of the Main army medical department, hief medical officer of Baltic military district, chief of Department of training of physicians (for Missile Forces and Army) of Military-medical Academy n. a. S.M. Kirov and his actiity as a instructor of faculty of organization and tacticts of medical service of the academy.

[Lessons from the organization of medical support during the Battle for Moscow].

Covered and analyzed the state of medical support during the Battle for Moscow. The problems of organizing of medical support for troops during all stages of this war--defensive operations and counter-offensive strategic operations are considered. Analyzed errors and mistakes made in the course of medical support of combat operations of the fronts that participated in the battle for Moscow. The article traces the solutions of the problems encountered and assess the results of translating these decisions into practice. Particular attention is paid to problems of organization of work as a hospital base fronts and armies, and the medical units and divisional managers, as well as management of medical service, evacuate the wounded and sick, the dynamics of formation of the provision of specialized medical care and anti security forces.

[Medical service of the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War].

The article presents an analyze of contribution of military medicine in victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. Nevertheless big difficulties the medical service has effectuated deployment of network of medical units and institutes, organization of effective work of delivery of medical care on frontline and in rear of country. For the first time in the history of official military-medical service, it transformed from service of regard for ill and wounded persons in service of securing by men resources of active army. Experience of medical securing is as well actual nowday, as years ago. In a big quantity of questions the service saves it's practical value in complex solving of questions of modern military medicine.

E.I.Smirnov's views of the role and place of organizational aspects of the greatest Russian surgeon N.I.Pirogov in development of modern medical supply system are covered on the basis of vast historiographical data. From the perspectives of historism and objectivism a degree of realization Pirogov's ideas during creation of the consistent military-medicine doctrine and organization of medical-evacuational measures during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 is analyzed.

[From department of military and military-sanitary disciplines to department of organization and tactics of medical service].

The article presents history of forming and activity of department of organization and tactics of medical service of Military-medical academy by Kirov S.M. for the last eight decades on the base of wide historiographic material, archival sources and not published works. There were analyzed objective suppositions of creation of the department, process of teaching of military-sanitarium disciplines in form of separated courses, on departments of military and military-sanitarium disciplines and on a separated department of organization and tactics of medical service. There was resumed scientific and pedagogic activity of the department, characterized it's modern state and scientific strength.
