A catalogue of Nolidae Bruand, 1846 from India (Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea).

The present catalogue is the first rsum of the family Nolidae Bruand, 1846 recorded in India comprising 354 species under 98 genera of 6 subfamilies, including four new records to India: Casminola seminigra (Hampson, 1896), Evonima ronkaygabori Han Hu, 2019, Meganola suffusata (Wileman West, 1929) and Nola euryzonata (Hampson, 1900). The Indian Nolidae represents 16.2 % of the global species (2,179 species) of Nolidae. The information on the type locality, type depository, sex of the type (wherever available), first reference, synonymy, host plants (wherever available) and distribution within as well as outside India for each of the included species is provided. Some clarifications regarding type locality, type depository along with new distributional records within Indian states are also given with 72 images of adults.

Introduction of a new generic synonymy and three newly recorded species of Nolinae (Lepidoptera: Nolidae) from India.

A monotypic genus Purenola Qi, László, Ronkay, Bae Han, 2013 is proposed here as a synonym of the genus Membranola Pellinen (2012). In addition, Leucobaeta hemiphea (Hampson, 1905), Nola infralba Inoue, 1976 and Nola atrocinta Inoue, 1998 are reported for the first time from India. With 13 colour illustrations of adults and genitalia images.

First record of the genus Porcellanola László, Ronkay amp; Witt, 2006 (Lepidoptera, Nolidae, Nolinae) from India with description of a new species.

Genus Porcellanola is reported for the first time from India with description of a new species, Porcellanola sikkima Joshi, Singh László sp. nov., (Sikkim) along with the morphotaxonomy of two more species, P. sukhothai László, Ronkay Witt, 2006 and P. langtangi László, Ronkay Witt, 2006. In addition, first description of the female genitalia of P. sukhothai is provided.
