RESUMEN

The low power conversion efficiency (PCE) of hole transport materials (HTM) - free carbon-based perovskite solar cells (C-PSCs) poses a challenge. Here, a novel 2D Eu-TCPP MOF (TCPP; [tetrakis (4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrin]) sandwiched between the perovskite layer and the carbon electrode is used to realize an effective and stable HTM-free C-PSCs. Relying on the synergistic effect of both the metal-free TCPP ligand with a unique absorption spectrum and hydrophobicity and the EuO4(OH)2 chain in the Eu-TCPP MOF, defects are remarkably suppressed and light-harvesting capability is significantly boosted. Energy band alignment is achieved after Eu-TCPP MOF treatment, promoting hole collection. Förster resonance energy transfer results in improved light utilization and protects the perovskite from decomposition. As a result, the HTM-free C-PSCs with Eu-TCPP MOF reach a champion PCE of 18.13%. In addition, the unencapsulated device demonstrates outstanding thermal stability and UV resistance and keeps 80.6% of its initial PCE after 5500 h in a high-humidity environment (65%-85% RH).

RESUMEN

The fraction of soil-borne particulates in indoor air (fspi), a principal exposure factor in health risk assessment of soil, is used to calculate the inhaled dose of contaminants in air particulates (PM10) from soil. To investigate the fspi, consecutive 24-h PM10 samples (n = 180) of indoor ambient were collected from September 2019 to January 2020 in Guangzhou main urban areas, China. The concentrations of twenty-six metal elements, five anions, organic carbon (OC) and elemental carbon (EC) in samples were measured. The sources of indoor ambient PM10 and the value of fspi were identified by the method of Positive Matrix Factor analysis (PMF). Results showed that the main sources contributing to indoor PM10 content were combustion sources (50.53%) and vehicular sources (28.17%). The soil sources (the local fspi) were 19.96%. The soil contents of indoor PM10 in Guangzhou main urban areas were in accordance with those in similar monsoon climate regions, such as Malaysia. The health risks of the inhalation route were dropped by about 62% for some common brownfield contaminants (Cr (VI), Ni, Be and Cd) with the investigated local fspi in Guangzhou main urban areas, compared with using the fspi (0.8) recommended by the C-RAG model in China. The results supplied a new effective methodology for estimation of the local fspi value in health risk assessment of soil contamination in urban areas.

RESUMEN

TOB aptamer can be adsorbed on the AuNPs surface to form AuNPs-aptamer complexation to prevent AuNPs aggregation in high salt solution. When TOB was added to the AuNPs solution, the aptamer would bind with TOB and depart from the AuNPs surface. The amount of the AuNPs-aptamer complexation depends on the TOB concentration. Different concentration of AuNPs-aptamer can catalyze the reduction reaction of CuSO4 to produce different size Cu2O particle. The resonance scattering peak intensities are correlated with the Cu2O size. Large size Cu2O particle as a resonance scattering spectroscopy probe can remarkable improve the TOB detection sensitivity. We have succeeded to detect the trace TOB in aqueous solutions. The linear range and limit of detection were 0.50-17 nM and 0.19 nM, respectively. This simple and inexpensive method exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity, which was successfully used to detect TOB in milk. The results indicated the accuracy and precision were satisfied.

RESUMEN

Aminoglycoside antibiotics (AAs) abused in animal husbandry can cause antibiotic residues in animal-derived foods, which do harm to human beings' health. Therefore the detection of AAs residues in the animal-origin foods, such as milk, eggs and meat is necessary. We used two single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) oligonucleotides as nonspecific receptors to develop a simple colorimetric sensor array based on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) for identification and quantification the AAs. Different AA addition triggered the DNA detaching from AuNPs then resulted in different degree salt induced aggregation of AuNPs. The aggregation induced spectral changes of AuNPs with five AA addition were analyzed based on pattern recognition techniques, fisher linear discriminant analysis (FLD) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA). The results indicated that colorimetric sensor array has successfully identified five AAs at a concentration range of 120-280 nM. Five AAs in aqueous solution and complex milk matrix can be identified with an accuracy of 100%. More importantly, our developed sensor array is sufficiently sensitive for the discrimination of pure streptomycin (STR), binary mixtures of STR and gentamicin (GEN) at a total concentration of 120 nM.
