RESUMEN

The combined method of diagnosis parvovirus infection during pregnancy by maternal serum enzyme immunoassay and deoxyribonucleic acid isolation parvovirus B19 polymerase chain reaction in amnniotic fluid and fetal cord blood newborns, can diagnose vertical transmission and anticipate a negative effect on the fetus parvovirus. Lack of maternal IgM antibodies in serum due to parvovirus seroconversion during pregnancy does not exclude the persistence of the virus in the fetus. To analyze the diagnostic value of the method for determining the LHP parvovirus B19 DNA in the amniotic fluid, umbilical cord blood of newborns to determine vertical transmission of parvovirus infection when infected mothers B19 during pregnancy.

RESUMEN

The actual research has shown that the important factor of CIN occurrence in the HPV presence is a chronic bacterial cervicitis. Another research of the HPV associations with other urogenital infections has shown that mycoplasma and papillomavirus associations are dominating and they occur twofold often in all of the examined women with cervical pathology in comparison with healthy persons. Inflammatory processes in cervix of the uterus should be related to factors of the increased risk of CIN development.

RESUMEN

In this paper, consideration is given to the problem of mathematical modelling, diagnosis and effects of treatment options on the condition of a patient exposed to papillomavirus infection. The problem is tackled of identifying the most prominent signs of degree of severity of the disease course and of therapy efficiency on the basis of parameters characterizing the immunologic vigor with making use of the covariation matrix eigenvalues algorithm, namely the modelling manifolds algorithm. Such an approach allows the central problem of classification of indices for the immunologic vigor to be settled. A mathematical model as discrimination surface to be used for prediction of results of the treatments administered is constructed.

RESUMEN

The paper presents findings obtained from the electron microscopy investigation designed to study the mucosa of the vaginal portion of the uterine cervix in patients with atypical condyloma 45 days after CO2 laser destruction had been performed and system interferon therapy conducted. The proposed combined method was found out to encourage normalization of the uterine cervix structure, with the above therapy being capable of activating the local immune response that prevents the disease recurrences.

RESUMEN

The authors studied the impact of HPV infection and HPV-associated cellular intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cancer in situ on indicators of cellular immunity, such as levels of T(CD3+)- and B (CD19+)-lymphocytes as well as those of their subpopulations (CD4+, CD8+, CD3+DR+, CD3-DR+). Female patients presenting with benign states and CIN II as well as those with CIN III and cancer in situ induced by HPV exhibit an apparent decrease in CD3+DR+T-lymphocyte count in their peripheral blood. In benign states and CIN I as well as in CIN III an cancer in situ levels of CD4(+)-cells are noted to be on the decrease while those of CD8+ T-lymphocytes get appreciably increased. Female patients with benign states and CIN I as well as those with CIN III and cancer in situ have a reduction in the index CD4/CD8 compared to the values in controls. The results obtained may have a prognostic significance and will, we believe, help in developing methodological approaches to the immunocorrection of HPV infections and HPV-associated disorders of female genital organs.

RESUMEN

T(CD3+)-, B(CD19+)-lymphocytes and their subsets (CD4+, CD8+, CD3+ DR+, CD3- DR+) in peripheral blood of patients with CIN I, CIN II, CIN III and cancer in situ associated with HPV infection were evaluated. In peripheral blood of women with CIN II, CIN III and cancer in situ the number of T-lymphocytes which expressed CD3+ DR+ antigen decreased. In patients with CIN I, CIN III and cancer in situ the level of the CD4+ cells decreased; the level of the CD8+ cells increased. These patients had a lower CD4/CD8 ratio, the number of B cells being standard. The results may have important implications in the prognosis and immunotherapy of HPV infection.

RESUMEN

A method is suggested for treatment of benign processes of uterine cervix, associated with papillomavirus infection, in nonparous women. The method consists in applying glycerin to the mucous membrane of the vulva and vagina for 10 to 12 days before local application of 5-fluorouracilum, and use of vaginal suppositories plus interferon alpha-2 beta following the course of treatment with cytostatics. The proposed treatment modality proved to be highly effective for the above conditions.

RESUMEN

Employed in the treatment of 102 female patients with flat condyloma of cervix uteri was a continuous-action CO2-laser. High efficiency of the above method has been demonstrated together with expediency of performing laser coagulation in the papilloma-virus infected zones as well as in the periphery of intact tissues. It is recommended that etiopathogenetic therapy be applied in the post-laser therapy period.

RESUMEN

As many as 523 female patients presenting with vascular changes in the neck of the womb were studied. Of these, 172 ran benign course, 141 had a first- and a second-degree cervical intraneoplasia (CIN), 28 presented with microcarcinoma (MC), 148 with invasive cervical carcinoma (ICC). Colposcopy and colpomicroscopy techniques as to O. Koller have been employed throughout the study, with about 600 colpophotographs having been recorded. Vascular changes in CIN, MC and ICC are regarded as important predictors of the disease course of the above conditions.
