[Hepatocellular mechanisms of compensatory processes influenced by environmental chemical factors]. / Gepatotselliuliarnye mekhanizmy kompensatornykh protsessov pri vozdeistvii khimicheskikh faktorov okruzhaiushchei sredy.

The hepatocellular compensatory mechanisms against chemical pollutants were investigated. They expressed in hypertrophic nucleus-nucleolus structures, increased DNA-synthetizing and proliferative activity of hepatocytes, activated hepatic bile secretion and metabolic rearrangement in hepatocytes.

One-fold treatment of rat skin with 3% water solution of potassium bichromate resulted in slight toxic effects in epidermocytes, sebaceous gland cells and epithelial follicles. System of indexes for the slight toxic effects to assess was worked up.

Lead nitrate administered to noninbred rats with drinking water on the level of IO MAC (0.3 mg/l) during the whole period of gestation lead to the strengthening of hepatotoxic effect of cadmium chloride (7.5 and 15 mg/kg daily by gavage from the 1st to 20th day of gestation), manifest in significant increase of the hepatocytes alteration index, increase of the number of the pyknotic cells of reticuloendothelial system, increase of the degree of dams' liver hepatocytes dystrophy, decrease in the specific volume of megakaryocytes in the liver of their fetuses.

4 out of 6 mineralizing lime materials that were studied have been recommended for the practical application with the aim to correct the mineral composition of drinking low-mineralized water. The possibility to predict the biological properties of multicomponent mineralizing materials has been established on the basis of results of analysis of their chemical composition.

Under the influence of atmospheric pollutions certain structural-functional changes take place in placenta: terminal villi per stipulated square unite, villi with desquamated epithelium, with dilated vessels, with deposition of fibrinoid masses, with plasmodial buds increase in number; section area occupied by epithelial layer decreases; RNA concentration and histoenzymatic activity change in the latter.
