RESUMEN

Prussian offensive operation performed by the 2nd Belorussian Front. An activity of the medical An activity of the medical service of the 65th Army during the East Prussian offensive operation performed by the 2nd Belorussian Front is a typical example of the medical support of troops during the final stages of World War II. Forms and methods of medical support management, which were developed during the war, haven't lost their importance in modern conditions. These methods include the establishment of specialized surgical and therapeutic field hospital, establishment of medical institutions in the Army, which worked on the evacuation directions and reserve of mobile hospitals and transport, timely extension of the first echelons of the hospital base front to change institutions hospital deployed the army base. A research of experience in organizing medical support of the offensive operations performed during the last year of World War II provides the material for the development of the theory of modern medical support operations and ability to provide on this basis, the continuity of the hospitals, the continuity of qualified and specialized medical care, improve the performance of diagnostic and treatment work.

RESUMEN

A research of some literary sources and archive materials relating to the Belorussian strategic offensive operation "Bagration" in 1944 in which the group of armies "Center" was defeated has been conducted. The article provides a notion of a character and work volume of operational higher formations medical service control bodies in the process of preparation for the medical provision and treatment and evacuation measures implementation by the all-medical service levels in the course of operation. Shortcomings were revealed both in the medical provision planning and predesigned measures implementation that could be of certain interest for military doctors.

This article evaluates military and political situation in the world and operational-strategic environment on the West Theater of operations on the eve of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). We analyze structure and overall condition of sanitary service of West Special Military District of the Workers and Peasants Red Army and causes of failure of mobilization, organization and deployment of military units and establishments from the beginning of aggression of Fascist Germany to the Soviet Union.

RESUMEN

This article is concerned with the arrangement of formation of the administration of 33rd distributing evacuation station and organization of its evacuation work of casualties from hospital bases of West front lines to the hospitals in back land and also the main tasks of its subunits and units. The way of hospital trains performance, the amount of the hauls during the years of the work, average duration of one haul and average speed in kilometers, the amount of transferred casualties including litters.

RESUMEN

The article presents in chronological order points of view of national scientists on notion "lightly wounded person" and their contribution in formation and development of system of delivery of health care and treatment of this category of wounded. Organizational processing of system of treatment of lightly wounded persons took place in December 1941 after publishing of the order of National Defense Commissioner, whereby there was confirmed "Enactment of hospitals for lightly wounded and lightly ill persons". In 1942 there were founded 200 hospitals for lightly wounded persons, to the end of war cot size was 36,5% of general cot size. The article presents data of effectiveness of hospital work during the Great Patriotic War. Also the article presents modern points of view on a question of organization of delivery of medical aid and specialized treatment of lightly wounded and lightly ill persons in brand new organizational-staff structures (medical company of brigade, umeds of operative command, hospitals of lightly wounded of stationary and mobile hospital base, centers of rehabilitation). Were formed main features of modern system of organization of medical aid and surgical treatment of lightly wounded persons.
