RESUMEN

Non-digestible oligosaccharides have attracted attention due to their critical role in maintaining the balance of a host's gut microbiota. Lactiplantibacillus plantarum ZDY2013 was isolated from traditional fermented acid beans, which could metabolize many complex carbohydrates and had intestinal immunomodulatory effects. In our study, the ameliorative effect of a combination of non-digestible isomaltooligosaccharide (IMO) and L. plantarum ZDY2013 was investigated in dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis mice. The results showed that IMO could specifically promote L. plantarum ZDY2013 intestinal colonization after five days of gavage and ameliorate the symptoms of colitis (survival rate, DAI score, colon length, etc.) as well as colon tissue integrity. IMO combined with L. plantarum ZDY2013 increased the levels of intestinal tight junction proteins (ZO-1 and claudin) and mucin (MUC-2), followed by alleviation of inflammatory responses (decreased the expression of IL-1ß, TNF-α, and IL-6 and increased the expression of IL-10 and IL-22) and the level of oxidative stress (decreased the level of COX-2 and iNOS and increased the expression of T-AOC and SOD). Furthermore, the combination increased the diversity of the gut microbiota and modulated the microbial structural component (decreased the abundance of Escherichia and Helicobacter and increased the abundance of Lactobacillus and SCFA-producing related species). Taken together, our results suggested that the consumption of IMO and L. plantarum ZDY2013 could improve the symptoms of colitis in mice by improving the intestinal barrier along with regulating the composition and metabolites of the gut microbiota.

INTRODUCTION: Epilepsy is the third most common neurological disorder in elderly people. Patients with epilepsy (PWEs) are more likely to have comorbidities. Social support is very important for PWEs. However, there are many gaps in the research on social support in older PWEs, especially the correlation between social support and comorbidities. METHODS: A cross-sectional study was conducted in three hospitals in China. Social support was assessed using the Social Support Rate Scale. The burden of physical comorbidities was assessed using the CCI, and global disability was assessed using the mRS. The NDDIE was used to assess depression, the GAD7 was used for anxiety, the CDR was used for cognitive status, and the NPI was used for psychotic symptoms. RESULTS: A total of 154 older PWEs participated in the study. There were 97 patients with at least one physical comorbidities. The burden of physical comorbidities was negatively correlated with overall social support (Adj. r = -0.35, P < 0.001) and global disability (Adj. r = -0.45, P < 0.001). In terms of psychiatric comorbidities, anxiety, depression, and cognitive status were not correlated with overall social support (Adj. r = -0.03, -0.02, and -0.11, P > 0.05). Psychotic symptoms were correlated with overall social support (Adj. r = -0.20, P < 0.05). The overall burden of psychiatric comorbidities was associated with overall social support (r = 0.30, P < 0.01). DISCUSSION: Neurologists and social workers should consider more personalized biopsychosocial care to improve the quality of life of older PWEs.

Rotavirus (RV) is the main pathogen that causes severe diarrhea in infants and children under 5 years of age. No specific antiviral therapies or licensed anti-rotavirus drugs are available. It is crucial to develop effective and low-toxicity anti-rotavirus small-molecule drugs that act on novel host targets. In this study, a new anti-rotavirus compound was selected by ELISA, and cell activity was detected from 453 small-molecule compounds. The anti-RV effects and underlying mechanisms of the screened compounds were explored. In vitro experimental results showed that the small-molecule compound ML241 has a good effect on inhibiting rotavirus proliferation and has low cytotoxicity during the virus adsorption, cell entry, and replication stages. In addition to its in vitro effects, ML241 also exerted anti-RV effects in a suckling mouse model. Transcriptome sequencing was performed after adding ML241 to cells infected with RV. The results showed that ML241 inhibited the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 in the MAPK signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting IκBα, activating the NF-κB signaling pathway, and playing an anti-RV role. These results provide an experimental basis for specific anti-RV small-molecule compounds or compound combinations, which is beneficial for the development of anti-RV drugs.

Lung cancer (LC) is the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Surgery, chemoradiotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy are considered dominant treatment strategies for LC in the clinic. However, drug resistance and meta-stasis are two major challenges in cancer therapies. Medicarpin (MED) is an isoflavone compound isolated from alfalfa, which is usually used in traditional medicine. This study was de sig ned to evaluate the anti-LC effect and reveal the underlying mechanisms of MED in vivo and in vitro. We found that MED could significantly inhibit proliferation, induce apoptosis, and cell cycle arrest of A549 and H157 cell lines. Basically, MED induced cell apoptosis of LC cells by upregu lating the expression of pro-apoptotic proteins BAX and Bak1, leading to the cleavage of caspase-3 (Casp3). Moreover, MED inhibited the proliferation of LC cells via downregulating the expression of proliferative protein Bid. Overall, MED inhibited LC cell growth in vitro and in vivo via suppressing cell proliferation and inducing cell apoptosis, suggesting the therapeutic potential of MED in treating LC.

Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a rare demyelinating disease of the central nervous system primarily affecting the optic nerves, spinal cord, and brainstem. Viral infection may trigger NMOSD. Here, we report the case of a 34-year-old female presenting with a range of symptoms including nausea, vomiting, dysphagia, choking, and fatigue with unsteady gait, diplopia, hearing loss, left-sided facial paralysis, breathing difficulties, and hoarseness of voice. Her HBV DNA concentration, as determined by quantitative PCR analysis, exceeded 5×107 IU/ml in serum and 4.48×102 IU/ml in CSF. Next-generation sequencing of CSF revealed 1,528 HBV sequences in DNA analysis and 6 sequences in RNA analysis. Serum aquaporin-4 antibody (AQP4-Ab) titer was 1:10, and the CSF titer was 1:3.2. Brain magnetic resonance imaging showed high signal intensities in the brain stem, medulla oblongata, and left middle cerebellar peduncle with mild restricted-diffusion. The patient received antiviral and hepatoprotective medications before the high-dose methylprednisolone pulse therapy. However, the patient did not respond well to the first-line treatment. Subsequently, the patient received ofatumumab and inebilizumab. Throughout the follow-up period, there was a gradual improvement in her neurological symptoms, with no reactivation of hepatitis B or deterioration of liver function observed. Thereby, to the best of our knowledge, we report the first case of successful treatment with ofatumumab and inebilizumab in a patient with NMOSD concurrent with HBV infection.

Aim: To investigate the current status of experience and support of nurses as second victims and explore its related factors in nurses. Design: A sequential, explanatory, mixed-method study was applied. Methods: A total of 406 nurses from seven tertiary hospitals in China were chosen as participants between September to October 2023. The Chinese version of the Second Victim Experience and Support Questionnaire (SVEST), Somatic Complaints of Sub-health Status Questionnaire (SCSSQ) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) were applied to collect quantitative data. Eight nurses were selected for a qualitative study through in-depth interviews. Through interpretive phenomenological analysis, the interview data were analysed to explore the experience and support of nurses as second victims. Results: Practice distress (15.74 ± 4.97) and psychological distress (15.48 ± 3.74) were the highest dimensions, indicating Chinese nurses experienced second victim-related practice and psychological distress. Nurses with different gender, age, education, marital status, income, working hours, professional titles, and unit types have different levels of second victim-related experience and support (p < 0.05). In addition, the score of SVEST was positively associated with SCSSQ (r = 0.444) and GAD-7 (r = 0.490) (p < 0.05). This qualitative study found that the experience and support of nurses as second victims included nurses' perceptions and needs for patient safety events; psychological, physical and practice distress of nurses; and nurses and hospitals coping style after patient safety events. Discussion: Our findings suggest that nurses who are second victims of patient safety events experience severe practice and psychological distress, indicating that nursing managers should pay attention to psychological and practice distress of nurses after patient safety events and provide effective preventive measures.

Neuro-COVID, a condition marked by persistent symptoms post-COVID-19 infection, notably affects various organs, with a particular focus on the central nervous system (CNS). Despite scant evidence of SARS-CoV-2 invasion in the CNS, the increasing incidence of Neuro-COVID cases indicates the onset of acute neurological symptoms early in infection. The Omicron variant, distinguished by heightened neurotropism, penetrates the CNS via the olfactory bulb. This direct invasion induces inflammation and neuronal damage, emphasizing the need for vigilance regarding potential neurological complications. Our multicenter study represents a groundbreaking revelation, documenting the definite presence of SARS-CoV-2 in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of a significant proportion of Neuro-COVID patients. Furthermore, notable differences emerged between RNA-CSF-positive and negative patients, encompassing aspects such as blood-brain barrier integrity, extent of neuronal damage, and the activation status of inflammation. Despite inherent limitations, this research provides pivotal insights into the intricate interplay between SARS-CoV-2 and the CNS, underscoring the necessity for ongoing research to fully comprehend the virus's enduring effects on the CNS. The findings underscore the urgency of continuous investigation Neuro-COVID to unravel the complexities of this relationship, and pivotal in addressing the long-term consequences of COVID-19 on neurological health.

BACKGROUND: Gynostemma pentaphyllum, an ancient Chinese herbal medicine, serves as a natural source of gypenosides with significant medicinal properties. Basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors play pivotal roles in numerous biological processes, especially in the regulation of secondary metabolism in plants. However, the characteristics and functions of the bHLH genes in G. pentaphyllum remain unexplored, and their regulatory role in gypenoside biosynthesis remains poorly elucidated. RESULTS: This study identified a total of 111 bHLH members in G. pentaphyllum (GpbHLHs), categorizing them into 26 subgroups based on shared conserved motif compositions and gene structures. Collinearity analysis illustrated that segmental duplications predominately lead to the evolution of GpbHLHs, with most duplicated GpbHLH gene pairs undergoing purifying selection. Among the nine gypenoside-related GpbHLH genes, two GpbHLHs (GpbHLH15 and GpbHLH58) were selected for further investigation based on co-expression analysis and functional prediction. The expression of these two selected GpbHLHs was dramatically induced by methyl jasmonate, and their nuclear localization was confirmed. Furthermore, yeast one-hybrid and dual-luciferase assays demonstrated that GpbHLH15 and GpbHLH58 could bind to the promoters of the gypenoside biosynthesis pathway genes, such as GpFPS1, GpSS1, and GpOSC1, and activate their promoter activity to varying degrees. CONCLUSIONS: In conclusion, our findings provide a detailed analysis of the bHLH family and valuable insights into the potential use of GpbHLHs to enhance the accumulation of gypenosides in G. pentaphyllum.

Artificial intelligence provides an opportunity to try to redefine disease subtypes based on similar pathobiology. Using a machine-learning algorithm (Subtype and Stage Inference) with cross-sectional MRI from 296 individuals with focal epilepsy originating from the temporal lobe (TLE) and 91 healthy controls, we show phenotypic heterogeneity in the pathophysiological progression of TLE. This study was registered in the Chinese Clinical Trials Registry (number: ChiCTR2200062562). We identify two hippocampus-predominant phenotypes, characterized by atrophy beginning in the left or right hippocampus; a third cortex-predominant phenotype, characterized by hippocampus atrophy after the neocortex; and a fourth phenotype without atrophy but amygdala enlargement. These four subtypes are replicated in the independent validation cohort (109 individuals). These subtypes show differences in neuroanatomical signature, disease progression and epilepsy characteristics. Five-year follow-up observations of these individuals reveal differential seizure outcomes among subtypes, indicating that specific subtypes may benefit from temporal surgery or pharmacological treatment. These findings suggest a diverse pathobiological basis underlying focal epilepsy that potentially yields to stratification and prognostication - a necessary step for precise medicine.

With the coming era of artificial intelligence (AI) dominated by high-tech electronics, developing high-performance microwave absorption materials (MAMs) is imperative to solve the problem of increasing electromagnetic inference and pollution. Herein, a metal-organic framework (MOF)-derived CoNi bimetallic alloy (CoNi/C) with an irregular rod-like structure is prepared by a thermal reduction method. Introducing the CoNi alloy facilitates the balance between conduction loss and polarization loss and forms good impedance matching, leading to excellent microwave absorption performance. Interestingly, the optimization of absorption performance can be further achieved by controllably modulating the molar ratio of Co and Ni (Co2+/Ni2+). As expected, the obtained CoNi/C delivers excellent microwave absorption performance with a minimum reflection loss (RLmin) of -50.80 dB at 10.40 GHz and an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 3.28 GHz (8.91-12.19 GHz) with a filler loading of 50 wt% at 2.0 mm. In addition, the CoNi/C can reach a maximum EAB of 4.77 GHz (12.99-17.76 GHz) at a low thickness of 1.5 mm, spanning nearly the entire Ku band. The CoNi3/C also exhibits an impressive RLmin of -44.84 dB at 3.28 GHz in the S band. This work offers a novel strategy to modulate the magnetic/electric properties of MOF-derived MAMs.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate the immunopathogenic mechanisms of anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis (NMDAR-E) by characterizing the changes of immune cells in both peripheral blood (PB) and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of patients with NMDAR-E. METHODS: Cytology and flow cytometry were used to explore and compare different immunological parameters in PB and CSF of patients with NMDAR-E, viral encephalitis (VE) and healthy volunteers. Moreover, different models were established to assess the possibility of identifying NMDAR-E patients based on PB and CSF parameters. RESULTS: The neutrophil counts and monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratios (MLR) in PB are higher in NMDAR-E patients than in both VEs and controls (P < 0.001, respectively), while the percentages of CD3 + T, CD4 + T lymphocytes, and the leukocytes count in CSF were lower in NMDAR-Es than in VEs (P < 0.01, respectively). The higher percentages of CD8 + T cells in blood and CSF were both correlated with more severe NMDAR-E (P < 0.05, respectively). The poor neurological status group had significantly higher PB leukocytes but lower CSF leukocyte count (P < 0.05). Longitudinal observations in patients with NMDAR-E showed a decreasing trend of leukocyte count, neutrophils count, neutrophil-to-monocyte ratios (NMR), and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratios (NLR) with the gradual recovery of neurological function. CONCLUSIONS: The expression patterns of T lymphocyte subsets were different in patients with NMDAR-E and viral encephalitis. The changing trends of leukocyte and lymphocyte populations in peripheral blood and cerebrospinal fluid may provide clues for the diagnosis of different types of encephalitides, including NMDARE, and can be used as immunological markers to assess and predict the prognosis.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to characterise the whole-genome structure of two clinical Klebsiella pneumoniae strains co-harbouring mcr-8.1 and tmexCD1-toprJ1, both resistant to colistin and tigecycline. METHODS: K. pneumoniae strains TGC-02 (ST656) and TGC-05 (ST273) were isolated from urine samples of different patients hospitalised at separate times in 2021. Characterisation involved antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST), conjugation assays, whole-genome sequencing (WGS), and bioinformatics analysis. Comparative genomic analysis was conducted on mcr-8.1-carrying and tmexCD1-toprJ1-carrying plasmids. RESULTS: Both K. pneumoniae isolates displayed a multidrug-resistant phenotype, exhibiting resistance or reduced susceptibility to ampicillin, ampicillin/sulbactam, cefazolin, aztreonam, amikacin, gentamicin, tobramycin, ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, nitrofurantoin, trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, apramycin, tigecycline and colistin. WGS analysis revealed that clinical strain TGC-02 carried the TmexCD1-toprJ1 gene on a 200-Kb IncFII/IncFIB-type plasmid, while mcr-8 was situated on a 146-Kb IncFII-type plasmid. In clinical strain TGC-05, TmexCD1-toprJ1 was found on a 300-Kb IncFIB/IncHI1B/IncR-type plasmid, and mcr-8 was identified on a 137-Kb IncFII/IncFIA-type plasmid. Conjugation experiments assessed the transferability of these plasmids. While transconjugants were not obtained for TGC-05 despite multiple screening with tigecycline or colistin, pTGC-02-tmex and pTGC-02-mcr8 from clinical K. pneumoniae TGC-02 demonstrated self-transferability through conjugation. Notably, the rearrangement of pTGC-02-tmex and pTGC-02-mcr8 via IS26-based homologous recombination was observed. Moreover, the conjugative and fusion plasmids of the transconjugant co-harboured the tmexCD1-toprJ1 gene cluster and mcr-8.1, potentially resulting from IS26-based homologous recombination. CONCLUSION: The emergence of colistin- and tigecycline-resistant K. pneumoniae strains is concerning, and effective surveillance measures should be implemented to prevent further dissemination.

BACKGROUND: The identification of patients with seizures of unknown etiology who would benefit from neural antibody testing necessitates effective assessment tools. The study aimed to compare the performance of the Antibody Prevalence in Epilepsy and Encephalopathy (APE2) score and the "Obvious" Indications for Neural Antibody Testing in Epilepsy or Seizures (ONES) checklist. We also intended to evaluate whether the performance of the tools varied by types of antibody. METHODS: Patients diagnosed with epilepsy, seizures, or status epilepticus of unknown etiology at West China Hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were included. Paired serum/cerebrospinal fluid samples were analyzed for antineuronal and antiglial antibodies. The APE2 score and ONES checklist were applied, and their outcomes were compared to laboratory antibody test results. Possible false positive neuronal antibody results were excluded in sensitivity/specificity analysis reasonably. RESULTS: A total of 113 antibody-positive and 159 antibody-negative patients were enrolled in sensitivity/specificity analysis. The ONES checklist showed superior sensitivity than APE2 score (95.6 % vs.79.6 %, P < 0.001). Specificity was not statistically different (60.4 % vs. 57.9 %, P = 0.557). The negative predictive value (NPV) of ONES checklist was higher than that of APE2 score (94.8 % vs 80.7 %, P < 0.001). The positive predictive value of them was not statistically different (61.7 % vs 58.8 %, P = 0.557). APE2 score exhibited lower sensitivity for predicting LGI-Abs (52.9 % vs. 80.3 %, P = 0.022) compared to NMDAR-Abs. Similarly, ONES checklist showed lower sensitivity for LGI1-Abs than NMDAR-Abs (82.4 % vs. 100.0 %, P = 0.009). CONCLUSIONS: The ONES checklist demonstrates superior sensitivity for neural antibody positivity than APE2 score. Specificity of the two assessment tools was similar. ONES checklist performed better NPV than the APE2 score. Both assessment tools performed less well in predicting the presence of LGI1- Abs when compared to NMDAR-Abs.

Rotaviruses (RVs) are a major cause of diarrhea in young children worldwide. The currently available and licensed vaccines contain live attenuated RVs. Optimization of live attenuated RV vaccines or developing non-replicating RV (e.g., mRNA) vaccines is crucial for reducing the morbidity and mortality from RV infections. Herein, a nucleoside-modified mRNA vaccine encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles (LNP) and encoding the VP7 protein from the G1 type of RV was developed. The 5' untranslated region of an isolated human RV was utilized for the mRNA vaccine. After undergoing quality inspection, the VP7-mRNA vaccine was injected by subcutaneous or intramuscular routes into mice. Mice received three injections in 21 d intervals. IgG antibodies, neutralizing antibodies, cellular immunity, and gene expression from peripheral blood mononuclear cells were evaluated. Significant differences in levels of IgG antibodies were not observed in groups with adjuvant but were observed in groups without adjuvant. The vaccine without adjuvant induced the highest antibody titers after intramuscular injection. The vaccine elicited a potent antiviral immune response characterized by antiviral clusters of differentiation CD8+ T cells. VP7-mRNA induced interferon-γ secretion to mediate cellular immune responses. Chemokine-mediated signaling pathways and immune response were activated by VP7-mRNA vaccine injection. The mRNA LNP vaccine will require testing for protective efficacy, and it is an option for preventing rotavirus infection.

BACKGROUND: We aimed to explore the prevalence of autoimmune antibodies (Abs) in a large consecutive series with "chronic" epilepsy and without symptoms of autoimmune encephalitis; and to compare the immunopathology of brain tissue from drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) with and without Abs positivity. METHODS: Neuronal and glial antibodies were detected in the serum of patients who were admitted to the wards of West China Hospital from October 2016 to September 2019 and had epilepsy by cell-based assays and tissue-based assays. RESULTS: Twenty-one (6.8 %) of 328 patients had positive Ab findings for the following: dipeptidyl-peptidase-like protein-6 (n = 7), contactin-associated protein-like 2 (n = 5), glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (n = 4), gamma aminobutyric acid beta receptor (n = 2), N-methyl-d-aspartate receptor (n = 2), and dopamine D2 receptor (n = 1). Antibodies were detected in 6.9 % (13/187) of epilepsy people with unknown etiology and 5.6 % (8/141) of patients with known etiology, respectively. Among 190 patients with DRE, 14 (7.3 %) patients were Abs-positive. There was no significant difference between individuals with seropositive and seronegative results in clinical manifestations, except that the history of febrile seizure was significantly more frequent in the seropositive group. Moreover, brain samples from 3 patients with Abs-positive DRE (with DPPX in 2 patients, and CASPR2 in 1 patient) and 18 patients with Abs-negative DRE were analyzed for immunopathology. We found higher expression of CD8-positive T-cells in the hippocampus of Abs-positive DRE group. CONCLUSIONS: Neuronal antibodies are potentially involved in the process of "chronic" epilepsy, and CD8-positive T-cells may play an important role in this process.

Conventional brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate-receptor encephalitis (NMDARE) is non-specific, thus showing little differential diagnostic value, especially for MRI-negative patients. To characterize patterns of structural alterations and facilitate the diagnosis of MRI-negative NMDARE patients, we build two support vector machine models (NMDARE versus healthy controls [HC] model and NMDARE versus viral encephalitis [VE] model) based on radiomics features extracted from brain MRI. A total of 109 MRI-negative NMDARE patients in the acute phase, 108 HCs and 84 acute MRI-negative VE cases were included for training. Another 29 NMDARE patients, 28 HCs and 26 VE cases were included for validation. Eighty features discriminated NMDARE patients from HCs, with area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of 0.963 in validation set. NMDARE patients presented with significantly lower thickness, area, and volume and higher mean curvature than HCs. Potential atrophy predominately presented in the frontal lobe (cumulative weight = 4.3725, contribution rate of 29.86%), and temporal lobe (cumulative weight = 2.573, contribution rate of 17.57%). The NMDARE versus VE model achieved certain diagnostic power, with AUC of 0.879 in validation set. Our research shows potential atrophy across the entire cerebral cortex in acute NMDARE patients, and MRI machine learning model has a potential to facilitate the diagnosis MRI-negative NMDARE.

BACKGROUNDS: Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis (NMDAR-E) is a severe autoimmune disorder characterized by prominent psychiatric symptoms. Although the role of NMDAR antibodies in the disease has been extensively studied, the phenotype of B cell subsets is still not fully understood. METHODS: We utilized single-cell RNA sequencing, single-cell B cell receptor sequencing (scBCR-seq), bulk BCR sequencing, flow cytometry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to analyze samples from both NMDAR-E patients and control individuals. RESULTS: The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of NMDAR-E patients showed significantly increased B cell counts, predominantly memory B (Bm) cells. CSF Bm cells in NMDAR-E patients exhibited upregulated expression of differential expression genes (DEGs) associated with immune regulatory function (TNFRSF13B and ITGB1), whereas peripheral B cells upregulated DEGs related to antigen presentation. Additionally, NMDAR-E patients displayed higher levels of IgD- CD27- double negative (DN) cells and DN3 cells in peripheral blood (PB). In vitro, DN1 cell subsets from NMDAR-E patients differentiated into DN2 and DN3 cells, while CD27+ and/or IgD+ B cells (non-DN) differentiated into antibody-secreting cells (ASCs) and DN cells. NR1-IgG antibodies were found in B cell culture supernatants from patients. Differential expression of B cell IGHV genes in CSF and PB of NMDAR-E patients suggests potential antigen class switching. CONCLUSION: B cell subpopulations in the CSF and PB of NMDAR-E patients exhibit distinct compositions and transcriptomic features. In vitro, non-DN cells from NMDAR-E can differentiate into DN cells and ASCs, potentially producing NR1-IgG antibodies. Further research is necessary to investigate the potential contribution of DN cell subpopulations to NR1-IgG antibody production.
