RESUMEN
Adverse events associated with salvaged blood reinfusion are common, but bronchospasm has been rarely reported, especially in pediatrics. We report the case of a child undergoing epileptogenic focus resection, who experienced bronchospasm and kidney injury associated with reinfusion of salvaged blood, presumably related to excessive free hemoglobin.

A series of macrocyclic analogues were designed and synthesized based on the cocrystal structure of small molecule plasma kallikrein (pKal) inhibitor, 2, with the pKal protease domain. This led to the discovery of a potent macrocyclic pKal inhibitor 29, with an IC50 of 2 nM for one olefinic isomer and 42.3 nM for the other olefinic isomer.
RESUMEN
In the title compound C(13)H(19)N(5)O(4), which belongs to the insecticidally active neonicotinoid group of compounds, the triazane ring exhibits a half-chair conformation. The large discrepancy between the two nitro O-N-N bond angles [116.1â (2) and 123.98â (19)°] may be attributed to intra-molecular N-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonding involving one of the nitro O atoms as the acceptor. The delocalization of the electrons extends as far as the nitro group, forming coplanar π-electron networks. In the crystal, inversion dimers lined by pairs of N-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds occur.
