Clinical appearance and misdiagnosis in 27 patients having associated preexcitation syndrome and mitral prolapse have been analyzed. Misdiagnosis of myocardial infarction, rheumatic and congenital heart disease, infectious-allergic myocarditis were most typical errors in this condition identification: in 9, 3 and 2 patients, respectively.

The paper is concerned with the description of a family where father suffered from right bundle-branch block, his daughter--from Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (type B) with attacks of supraventricular paroxysmal tachycardia, one granddaughter--from Clerc-Lévy-Cristesco syndrome with attacks of sinus tachycardia, the two other granddaughters had a short P-R interval. Medicogenetic investigation revealed not only the inheritance of myocardial conduction changes of autosomal dominant type but also of syndromes characterizing primary dysplasia of connective tissue in 3 generations.

[Roentgenoradionuclide study of the lymphatic system of the liver (development of the method and criteria for the evaluation of extravascular plasma flow)]. / Rentgenoradionuklidnoe issledovanie limfaticheskoi sistemy pecheni (razrabotka sposoba i kriteriev otsenki vnesosudistogo plazmotoka).

An attempt was made to develop an instrumental method for the evaluation of the extravascular plasma flow (lymph flow) of the liver. Ultrasonography of the liver does not give an opportunity to differentiate between different states including those accompanied by the excess lymph discharge into the liver. The results of intraparenchymal lymphography of the liver were analysed in patients with and without biliary and portal hypertension. The authors have singled out 11 criteria that make it possible to judge an elevated production of the lymph in the liver. This procedure possesses some instability of results due to the equipment, the doctor's experience and the number of attempts. A method of " radioangiolymphography " of the liver based on the administration of diffusing and nondiffusing radionuclides in the afferent vessels of the liver was worked out. Variation in the parameters of the radionuclide circulation seems to reflect significantly extrahepatic circulation in the liver and holds great promise for the use in hepatology.

A classification of chronic left ventricular insufficiency of the congestive type associated with coronary heart disease has been elaborated on the basis of the results provided by clinical and hemodynamic studies as well as by the examination of the degree of pulmonary hydration using roentgenologic and radionuclide biindicator methods for evaluating the amount of the extravascular fluid in the lungs. Recommendations are offered as to the treatment of every stage of chronic left ventricular insufficiency.
