RESUMEN

Different types of clinical wounds are difficult to treat while infected by bacteria. Wound repair involves multiple cellular and molecular interactions, which is a complicated process. However, wound repair often suffers from abnormal cellular functions or pathways that result in unavoidable side effects, so there is an urgent need for a material that can heal wounds quickly and with few side effects. Based on these needs, hydrogels with injectable properties have been confirmed to be able to undergo self-healing, which provides favorable conditions for wound healing. Notably, as a biopolymer with excellent easy-to-modify properties from a wide range of natural sources, chitosan can be used to prepare injectable hydrogel with multifunction for wound healing because of its outstanding flowability and injectability. Especially, chitosan-based hydrogels with marked biocompatibility, non-toxicity, and bio-adhesion properties are ideal for facilitating wound healing. In this review, the characteristics and healing mechanisms of different wounds are briefly summarized. In addition, the preparation and characterization of injectable chitosan hydrogels in recent years are classified. Additionally, the bioactive properties of this type of hydrogel in vitro and in vivo are demonstrated, and future trend in wound healing is prospected.

RESUMEN

Classifying mental disorder is a big issue in psychology in recent years. This article focuses on offering a relation between decision tree and encoding of fMRI that can simplify the analysis of different mental disorders and has a high ROC over 0.9. Here we encode fMRI information to the power-law distribution with integer elements by the graph theory in which the network is characterized by degrees that measure the number of effective links exceeding the threshold of Pearson correlation among voxels. When the degrees are ranked from low to high, the network equation can be fit by the power-law distribution. Here we use the mentally disordered SHR and WKY rats as samples and employ decision tree from chi2 algorithm to classify different states of mental disorder. This method not only provides the decision tree and encoding, but also enables the construction of a transformation matrix that is capable of connecting different metal disorders. Although the latter attempt is still in its fancy, it may have a contribution to unraveling the mystery of psychological processes.

RESUMEN

The photoelectric conversion efficiency of perovskite solar cells has improved rapidly, but their stability is poor, which is an important factor that restricts their commercial production. This paper studies the physical and chemical stability of perovskite solar cells based on first principles. It is well known that methylamido lead iodide compounds and methylamino lead iodide compounds are easily degraded into NH2CH[double bond, length as m-dash]NH2I, CH3NH3I and PbI2. First, the chemical stability of the above two perovskite-type solar cell materials is discussed by calculating the binding energy. Then, their phonon scattering lines, state density and thermodynamic properties are calculated and analyzed, and the work functions of different types of crystals along different planes such as [1 0 0], [0 1 0 0], [0 0 1] and [1 1 1] are calculated. The results show that the work function of the methylamine iodized lead compound is greater than that of the methylamidine iodized lead compound, which means that the electrons of the methylamidine iodized lead compound escape more easily and the carrier transfer efficiency is higher under the same conditions. Finally, the effects of different temperatures, different electric fields and light on the two kinds of crystal materials are analyzed. This provides theoretical guidance for us to improve the stability of perovskite materials experimentally.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of electroacupuncture on proprioception in cynomolgus monkeys after unilateral anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. METHODS: Twenty-seven cynomolgus monkeys were randomized equally into 3 groups, namely unilateral ACL injury with electroacupuncture group, unilateral ACL injury model group and blank control group. One week after modeling, the monkeys in electroacupuncture group were treated daily for 12 weeks with electroacupuncture at the acupoints Wei Yang, Yin Gu, Xi Yangguan and Qu Quan. At 4, 8, and 12 weeks during the treatment, the changes in the somatosensory evoked potentials (SEPs) and motor nerve conduction velocity (MCV) of the nerves of the ACL were examined with neural electrophysiological method; the changes in the morphology and the total and variable number of the proprioceptors in the ACL were observed with gold chloride staining. RESULTS; In the mokeys in the model group, the incubation period of the SEPs and MCV on the injured side of the knee were significantly extended and the amplitudes were decreased with the passage of time (P<0.05). Intervention with electroacupuncture significantly reduced the incubation period and increased the amplitudes of the SEPs and MCV (P<0.05). The total number of the proprioceptors in the ACL was significantly decreased and the variable number of the proprioceptors in ACL was increased with time in the monkeys in the model group (P<0.05); electroacupuncture intervention obviously slowed the reduction rate of total number of the proprioceptors (P<0.05) but without affecting the variable number of the proprioceptors (P>0.05). CoONCLUSION: ACL injury causes attenuation of the proprioception on the injury side, and electroacupuncture intervention can produce a positive effect on the proprioception in cynomolgus monkeys.

RESUMEN

Pseudorabies is an economically important disease in a variety ot animals caused by pseudorabies virus. Since 2011, pseudorabies outbreaks occurred in many regions of China. Related researches on this virus become a hot topic in virology and veterinary. One of the difficulties for pseudorabies prevention and control is innate immune evasion. Explorations on this issue are conducive to the development of vaccine and drugs. Therefore, this review summarized the recent research progress on the mechanisms of pseudorabies virus innate immune evasion. Theoretical direction was provided on effetive prevention and control of pseudorabies owing to this review.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: Through observing the morphological changes of the prepared influenza viruses (H1N1) treated with the different concentration of Nonidet P-40 solutions and added with antibody against the influenza virus using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), to explore the principle of application of the internal antibody for immunoassay of influenza virus. METHODS: Through treating the virus samples with serial diluted Nonidet P-40 solutions from 0.01% to 0.2% and/or not adding antibody against the influenza virus, then investigating the samples by TEM to obtain the morphological changes of the virions. RESULTS: The serial images show that the denudation degree of the virions is proportional with the rise of NP-40 concentration, and partly denuded virion image appeared at 0.1% NP-40 treatment, also under this condition no influence was observed on antibody binding to the virus. CONCLUSION: This work demonstrated the interaction between influenza virion and its antibody under nonionic surfactants existing, which supports the advantages of sample preparation for immunoassay enveloped virus using internal antibody theoretically.

RESUMEN

Quaternized polyvinyl alcohol (QAPVA) and phosphate monoester polyvinyl alcohol (PMPVA) were self-assembled into polyion complex (PIC) membrane. The infrared spectra (IR) of PIC membrane dipped in 95% ethanol for 48 h were studied in the temperature range of 20-120 degrees C with an interval of 20 degrees C by analyzing the temperature dependent variations of OH stretch vibration base bands (upsilonOH) at >3000 cm(-1). Hydrogen-bond of water in 95% ethanol with PIC was studied. Since the upsilonOH strongly overlapped at >3000 cm(-1), combined with the static electric effect between water in 95% ethanol and ion-bond of PIC at 1300-1700 cm(-1), two-dimensional infrared (2DIR) correlation analysis was applied to describe the possible combined modes between PIC and water in water-alcohol. The result shows that the upsilonOH overlapped was distinguished at >3000 cm(-1), the change of water with varing tempertature was earlier than the intra-membrane OH self association and water was desorbed to separate from ethanol. The absorption peak of water and poly-electrolyte group intra-PIC membrane was identified. The water combined with ion-bond in PIC membrane by static electric effect was adsorbed with the temperature going up and separate from ethanol. The present study provides a simple method for investigating the separation performance of PIC membrane used in dehydration of organic compounds.
