RESUMEN

This study aims to investigate auditory hypersensitivity and cortical function in migraine patients using the Hyperacusis Questionnaire and the Event-Related Potential (ERP) technique. The study analyzes alterations in the latency and amplitude of the event-related potentials MMN and P300 components. The findings contribute to a better understanding of the physiological relationship between migraine and auditory hypersensitivity. Seventeen migraine patients were admitted to the outpatient clinic of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Peking University People's Hospital from June 2023 to September 2023. Nineteen matched healthy subjects were also selected. All participants underwent the pure tone audiometry and the auditory brainstem response test to determine hearing thresholds, the Hyperacusis Questionnaire, the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory, and an ERP examination. The Oddball classical paradigm was used as the stimulation task, and electroencephalography signals were recorded synchronously. The scores of the Hyperacusis Questionnaire, latency and amplitude of MMN and P300 component were compared between the migraine group and the control group, and their correlation was analyzed. The latency of MMN at the Fz and Cz sites in migraine patients was significantly shorter than that in the control group (P < 0.05), and the amplitudes were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The variances in latency and amplitude of P300 at Cz and Pz sites in migraine patients were not statistically significant when compared with the control group. (P > 0.05). The Hyperacusis Questionnaire was negatively correlated with MMN latency, with a correlation coefficient of - 0.374 (P = 0.025), and positively correlated with MMN amplitude, with a correlation coefficient of 0.378 (P = 0.023). There was no significant similarity between the Hyperacusis Questionnaire and P300 latency and amplitude (P > 0.05). Overall, auditory hypersensitivity was enhanced in individuals with migraines compared to healthy individuals, leading to faster information processing, while there may be less impairment in cognitive function.

RESUMEN

Graph learning models have received increasing attention in the computational analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data. Compared with conventional deep neural networks, graph neural networks and language models have exhibited superior performance by extracting graph-structured data from raw gene count matrices. Established deep neural network-based clustering approaches generally focus on temporal expression patterns while ignoring inherent interactions at gene-level as well as cell-level, which could be regarded as spatial dynamics in single-cell data. Both gene-gene and cell-cell interactions are able to boost the performance of cell type detection, under the framework of multi-view modeling. In this study, spatiotemporal embedding and cell graphs are extracted to capture spatial dynamics at the molecular level. In order to enhance the accuracy of cell type detection, this study proposes the scHybridBERT architecture to conduct multi-view modeling of scRNA-seq data using extracted spatiotemporal patterns. In this scHybridBERT method, graph learning models are employed to deal with cell graphs and the Performer model employs spatiotemporal embeddings. Experimental outcomes about benchmark scRNA-seq datasets indicate that the proposed scHybridBERT method is able to enhance the accuracy of single-cell clustering tasks by integrating spatiotemporal embeddings and cell graphs.

RESUMEN

Objective: This study aims to identify the periodontitis factor that activates excessive autophagy in pancreatic ß cells, resulting in organic lesions of pancreatic islet tissues and diminished insulin secretion, thereby accelerating the progression of diabetes mellitus (DM). Methods: Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were induced with periodontitis (PD), type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), or the combination of T2DM and PD (DP) through a high-sugar/high-fat diet and ligation of the tooth neck with silk thread. Alveolar bone resorption was assessed using Micro-CT, blood glucose levels were measured with a blood glucose meter, pancreatic tissue pathology was examined through HE staining, and the expression of autophagy-related proteins Beclin1 and LC3II/LC3I was analyzed using Western blotting. Results: Micro-CT results revealed more pronounced alveolar bone resorption and root bifurcation exposure in the PD and DP groups compared to the control group, with the DP group exhibiting the most severe condition. HE staining demonstrated the formation of periodontal pockets, severe alveolar bone destruction, and abnormal pancreatic islet tissue morphology in the PD and DP groups. The serum levels of IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1ß increased sequentially in the control, DM, PD, and DP groups (P < 0.05). Relative expressions of GCK and GLUT-2 mRNA decreased in the PD group compared to the control group (P > 0.05), while the mRNA expressions in the DP and DM groups increased (P < 0.05), with the DP group exhibiting higher levels than the DM group (P < 0.05). Western blot results indicated increased expression levels of autophagy proteins Beclin1 and LC3II/LC3I in the DM and DP groups compared to the control group (P < 0.05), with the DP group exhibiting higher levels than the DM group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The findings demonstrate that periodontal inflammatory factors may promote the enhancement of pancreatic cell autophagy in diabetic rats.

RESUMEN

Objective:To explore the application value of optical surface monitoring system (OSMS) volume rendering technique (VRT) body surface imaging in intensity-modulated radiotherapy for thoracic tumors. Methods:A retrospective case series study was performed. The clinical data of 65 patients with thoracic tumors treated with intensity-modulated radiotherapy at Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from September 2021 to October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. In the first treatment, after cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan and correction, VRT body surface images were obtained by using OSMS. In subsequent treatment, the VRT image was used as the benchmark and the 6-dimensional bed was automatically positioned to record the 6-dimensional bed positioning value. The CBCT scan was performed to record the translation and rotation errors of left-right direction (X-axis), head-foot direction (Y-axis) and front-rear direction (Z-axis). After the calibration of the 6-dimensional automatic bed shifting, the new real-time deltas (RTD) value of digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) body surface image was recorded, and the new VRT image was obtained. CBCT registration error value was defined as VRT image-guided setup error. The sum of CBCT registration error value and moving bed movement value was defined as the body surface marker line-guided setup error. The sum of CBCT registration error value and the recorded DICOM image RTD value was defined as the theoretical error of DICOM image-guided setup. The advantages and disadvantages of VRT image, body surface marker line and DICOM image-guided setup were compared and analyzed. Results:There were 42 males and 23 females in 65 patients with thoracic tumors, and the age [ M ( Q1, Q3)] was 58 years (51 years, 64 years). The linear errors [ M ( Q1, Q3)] of VRT image-guided setup in X, Y and Z axes were 0.6 mm (0.3 mm, 1.2 mm), 1.2 mm (0.5 mm, 2.4 mm) and 1.1 mm (0.5 mm, 1.9 mm); and the rotational errors were 0.4° (0.1°, 0.7°), 0.4° (0.1°, 0.6°) and 0.4° (0.2°, 0.6°). The linear errors of the marker line-guided setup were 1.6 mm (0.9 mm, 2.6 mm), 2.2 mm (1.1 mm, 3.8 mm) and 1.0 mm (0.4 mm, 1.8 mm); and the rotational errors were 0.7° (0.3°, 1.2°), 0.5° (0.2°, 0.8°) and 0.5° (0.2°, 0.8°). The linear errors of the DICOM image-guided positioning were 1.1 mm (0.6 mm, 1.9 mm), 2.1 mm (1.0 mm, 3.4 mm) and 1.3 mm (0.6 mm, 3.1 mm), and the rotational errors were 0.6° (0.2°, 1.1°), 0.7° (0.3°, 1.1°), 0.7° (0.2°, 1.1°). Compared with the marker line-guided setup, except for Z-axis linear error ( P = 0.218), the VRT-guided setup errors were low (all P < 0.001). Compared with the DICOM imaging-guided setup, the VRT image-guided setup linear error and rotational error in X-, Y- and Z-axis were low (all P < 0.01). Conclusions:VRT image-guided setup is superior to traditional body surface marker setup and DICOM imaging setup; OSMS VRT body surface imaging can effectively improve the setup accuracy and stability of intensity-modulated radiotherapy for thoracic tumors, and reduce the setup errors.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND:Kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome are common traditional Chinese medicine syndromes observed in knee osteoarthritis, which serve as fundamental pathogenesis factors. There exists a significant connection between the two.Previous studies have demonstrated that kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome effectively contribute to knee joint cartilage degeneration and the progression of knee osteoarthritis. However, the mechanisms underlying the promotion of knee joint cartilage damage remain unclear and require further investigation. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the influence of kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome on the progression of knee osteoarthritis in Sprague-Dawley rats. METHODS:Sixteen Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into two groups:a model observation group and a control group, with eight rats in each group.Animal models of kidney deficiency were induced by ovary removal in the model observation group, while the control group was given a sham procedure for ovarian removal. Two months after modeling, both groups underwent modified HULTH surgery to induce knee osteoarthritis. One week after modified HULTH surgery, the model observation group was subcutaneously given adrenaline hydrochloride to make blood stasis models, while the control group was subcutaneously given normal saline. At the 5th week after modified HULTH surgery, blood rheology, coagulation parameters, triiodothyronine, tetraiodothyronine, and estradiol levels were measured.Knee joint X-ray images were taken, and knee joint sections were stained with safranin O-fast green,hematoxylin-eosin,and immunohistochemistry. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the control group, the model observation group exhibited significant increases in whole blood viscosity at low, medium, and high shear rates,as well as increased plasma viscosity.Fibronectin levels in the coagulation parameters were significantly increased, while prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time were significantly decreased.Triiodothyronine, tetraiodothyronine, and estradiol levels were all significantly decreased.Radiographic results showed that the model observation group exhibited more severe degree of knee joint space narrowing and surface roughness, with the appearance of high-density shadows.Hematoxylin-eosin and safranin O-fast green staining demonstrated more severe cartilage damage in the model observation group, with significantly higher OARSI and Mankin scores compared with the control group.Compared with the control group, immunohistochemistry results showed a significant reduction in the expression of extracellular matrix type II collagen and aggrecan protein in the cartilage of the model observation group rats. Moreover, there was a significant increase in the expression of matrix metalloproteinase 13 and aggrecanase 5,which are inflammatory factors. These results indicate that the Sprague-Dawley rat model of knee osteoarthritis with kidney deficiency and blood stasis was successfully established.Kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome further aggravate cartilage extracellular matrix degradation and cartilage degeneration by promoting the expression of inflammatory factors, thereby promoting the progression of knee osteoarthritis in rats.

RESUMEN

Ductal carcinoma in situ(DCIS),a pathological type of breast cancer that is limited to the terminal ducts of the breast without breaking through the basement membrane,is considered as the precursor of invasive ductal carcinoma(IDC).When DCIS breaks through the basement membrane and invades surrounding tissues,it can form infiltrating lesions. If the maximum diameter of a single infiltrating lesion is less than 1mm or the maximum diameter of multiple infiltrating lesions is less than 1mm,it is defined as ductal carcinoma in situ with microinvasion(DCIS-Mi).About 12%-40%of untreated and intervened DCIS will progress to IDC,and DCIS and IDC can also coexist. However, there is a considerable portion of DCIS that never progresses with good prognosis.Recently, overdiagnosis and overtreatment of DCIS have become the research hotspots. The histological grade of DCIS is mainly based on the morphology of the nucleus, which is divided into three nuclear levels:low, medium, and high. There are also significant differences in receptor expression and molecular type distribution between DCIS,DCIS-Mi,and IDC.For DCIS with or without microinvasion as well as different histological grades, there are many controversies about the treatment regimen, clinical prognosis and risk. The development of modern imaging technology has achieved preliminary evaluation of histological grading, infiltration status, and prognosis prediction of DCIS.The most commonly used breast imaging techniques in clinical practice currently include mammography(MG),ultrasound(US),and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).The imaging principles of these three techniques are different, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages in breast disease imaging diagnosis. However, they can complement each other and play an important role in disease diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis evaluation.Mammography has the advantages of safety, reliability and good repeatability. It is the preferred screening method for breast cancer recommended by international guidelines. The main manifestations of DCIS on MG can be divided into non calcified lesions and calcified lesions. On US,the main manifestations are lesions and non-lesion type, which can be further divided into hypoechoic changes, calcification, ductal changes, and structural disorders and distortions.MRI has higher sensitivity in detecting DCIS without calcification and multifocal DCIS compared with MG,and has higher accuracy in evaluating the lesion range. However, there are also shortcomings such as low diagnostic specificity and insensitivity to microcalcification display. In addition, radiomics has great potential in the histopathological evaluation, prediction, and guidance of individualized precision treatment of DCIS.In the current era of precision medicine, image features, histopathology, molecular genes, etc.are increasingly significant in predicting the prognosis of breast cancer. The early accurate diagnosis and molecular type of DCIS are also extremely important in clinical work.It has become a consensus in clinical treatment to predict the potential benefits of different treatments through molecular typing, histological grade, and imaging findings,in order to develop the most suitable personalized treatment plan. This article reviewed the correlation between imaging features and the molecular subtype, histopathology and prognosis of DCIS.

RESUMEN

Aim To explore the molecular mechanism of Selaginella moelledorffii Hieron. in the treatment of laryngeal cancer. Methods According to the relevant literature reports, the chemical constituents of S. moellendorffii were obtained, and the active ingredients were screened out through the SwissADME database, and the targets were screened through the PharmMapper database. The laryngeal cancer-related targets were collected by searching OMIM and other databases, and the Venny 2.1.0 online platform was used to obtain the intersection of the two. Protein interaction analysis of the potential targets was performed using the STRNG platform. GO functional analysis and KEGG pathway analysis was carried out using DAVID database. Visual networks were built with Cytoscape 3.8.0 software. Molecular docking was validated by SYBYL-X 2. 0 software. MTT method, Hoechst 33258 staining method and Western blotting were also used for validation. Results At the molecular level, a total of 110 active ingredients of S. moellendorffii and 82 drug targets were screened out, 1,608 targets related to laryngeal cancer, and intersection of 34 targets. GO analysis yielded 135 entries, and KEGG analysis yielded a total of 61 pathways. Molecular docking results showed that the 11 key active ingredients such as 2", 3"-dihydrooch-naflavone wood flavonoids and 4 core target proteins such as MAPK1 had 95. 5% of good docking activity. At the cellular level, SM-BFRE was screened for its strongest inhibitory effect on laryngeal cancer cell proliferation through MTT assay. Furthermore, Hoechst 33258 staining showed that the decrease in Hep-2 cell viability produced by SM-BFRE was related to cell apoptosis. Finally, Western blot verified that SM-BFRE inhibited PI3K/Akt/NF through inhibition- K B/COX-2 pathway to induce apoptosis in laryngeal cancer cells. Conclusions To sum up, it fully reflects the multicomponent, multi-target, and multi-channel synergistic effect of S. moellendorffii in the treatment of laryngeal cancer, and provides a theoretical reference for further elucidation of the mechanism of action of S. moellendorffii in the treatment of laryngeal cancer.

RESUMEN

Ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) is an extremely complicated pathophysiological process, which may occur during the process of myocardial infarction, stroke, organ transplantation and temporary interruption of blood flow during surgery, etc. As key molecules of immune system, macrophages play a vital role in the pathogenesis of IRI. M1 macrophages are pro-inflammatory cells and participate in the elimination of pathogens. M2 macrophages exert anti-inflammatory effect and participate in tissue repair and remodeling and extracellular matrix remodeling. The balance between macrophage phenotypes is of significance for the outcome and treatment of IRI. This article reviewed the role of macrophages in IRI, including the balance between M1/M2 macrophage phenotype, the mechanism of infiltration and recruitment into different ischemic tissues. In addition, the potential therapeutic strategies of targeting macrophages during IRI were also discussed, aiming to provide reference for alleviating IRI and promoting tissue repair.

RESUMEN

Platycodonis Radix is the dry root of Platycodon grandiflorum of Campanulaceae, which has a variety of pharmacological effects and is a commonly used bulk Chinese medicine. In this study, the chloroplast genome sequences of six P. grandiflorum from different producing areas has been sequenced with Illumina HiSeq X Ten platform. The specific DNA barcodes were screened, and the germplasm resources and genetic diversity were analyzed according to the specific barcodes. The total length of the chloroplast genome of 6 P. grandiflorum samples was 172 260-172 275 bp, and all chloroplast genomes showed a typical circular tetrad structure and encoded 141 genes. The comparative genomics analysis and results of amplification efficiency demonstrated that trnG-UCC and ndhG_ndhF were the potential specific DNA barcodes for identification the germplasm resources of P. grandiflorum. A total of 305 P. grandiflorum samples were collected from 15 production areas in 9 provinces, for which the fragments of trnG-UCC and ndhG_ndhF were amplificated and the sequences were analyzed. The results showed that trnG-UCC and ndhG_ndhF have 5 and 11 mutation sites, respectively, and 5 and 7 haplotypes were identified, respectively. The combined analysis of the two sequences formed 13 haplotypes (named Hap1-Hap13), and Hap4 is the main genotype, followed by Hap1. The unique haplotypes possessed by the three producing areas can be used as DNA molecular tags in this area to distinguish from the germplasm resources of P. grandiflorum from other areas. The haplotype diversity, nucleotide diversity and genetic distance were 0.94, 4.79×10-3 and 0.000 0-0.020 3, respectively, suggesting that the genetic diversity was abundant and intraspecific kinship was relatively close. This study laid a foundation for the identification of P. grandiflorum, the protection and utilization of germplasm resources, and molecular breeding.

RESUMEN

Soybean protein isolate (SPI)-stabilized nanoemulsions (NEs) were formulated to encapsulate diosgenin (DIO) to enhance its water solubility and bioavailability. The influence of DIO concentrations on NEs' properties was investigated, and their environmental stability and cell permeability were also assessed. Results demonstrated that DIO significantly affected all the physicochemical properties of NEs. NEs with 1.0 mg/mL of DIO exhibited smaller droplet size (209 nm), lower polydispersity index (0.17), and higher stability coefficient (95.8 %). Furthermore, DIO-SPI NEs displayed better stability under appropriate pH (<4 or > 5), NaCl concentrations (≤0.3 M), temperatures (≤60 °C), and freeze-thaw cycles (≤2), as well as storage at 4 °C. Moreover, encapsulating DIO in NEs reduced its toxicity towards cells and enhanced its transport efficiency, which reached 3.16 âˆ¼ 4.87 × 10-6. These findings highlight the potential of SPI-based NEs as a promising carrier for the efficient delivery of DIO.

RESUMEN

Providing universal access to high-cost medications like anticancer drugs is not an easy feat. Although basic medical insurance has covered over 95% of China's population since 2012, reimbursement for high-priced medicines is limited. In 2015, the Chinese government proposed establishing an open and transparent price negotiation mechanism for some patented and expensive drugs, where oncology was among the prioritized areas. In 2016, three drugs (gefitinib, icotinib, and tenofovir disoprox) underwent negotiation with the government, eventually reducing their prices by over 50% so that they could be prioritized during reimbursement processes. Focusing on anticancer medicines, this study comprehensively summarizes the progress in drug price and national reimbursement negotiation in China. Furthermore, we investigated the changes and development regarding negotiated anticancer medicines from quantity negotiated, classification, indication coverage, utilization, and procurement spending. Our findings could provide a reference for follow-up negotiations and reimbursement policies for high-value anticancer medications in other countries. From 2016 to 2021, 82 anticancer medicines were newly incorporated into the national reimbursement drug list (NRDL) via 6 rounds of negotiation. The majority of these were innovative pharmaceutics (ie, protein kinase inhibitors (28) and monoclonal antibodies (13)). Drug pricing and national reimbursement negotiation led to a marked decrease in prices and a sharp increase in the utilization of negotiated anticancer medicines. Following negotiations, the defined daily doses (DDDs) of innovative anticancer medicines experienced remarkable growth. Their proportion in total anticancer drugs DDDs also increased from 3.4% in 2014 to 20.9% in 2019. However, although drug prices decreased substantially after the negotiations, insurance spending still showed an upward trend owing to the significant increase in utilization. This calls for the government to carefully monitor the rational use of these expensive medicines and explore innovative payment models.

RESUMEN

The doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) with virtual inertia control and reactive damping control gives a renewable energy generation system inertia and damping characteristics similar to those of a thermal power plant, and the parameters of the control strategy have a direct impact on the small-signal stability of the system. This paper firstly introduces the operating characteristics and control strategies of DFIG-based damping control and virtual inertia control, establishes a small-signal model of the control-based DFIG integrated interconnected system, and investigates the effects of virtual inertia and reactive damping values on the small-signal stability of the system; then, the maximum damping ratio of the interval oscillation mode in small disturbance analysis is taken as the optimization objective, and the control parameters are the optimization variables. An optimization method of inertia and damping parameters is established for improving the small disturbance stability of the system. The results show that the optimization procedure could improve the damping ratio of the interval oscillation mode while ensuring the system frequency. The effects of virtual inertia and reactive damping values on the small signal stability of the system are investigated, and an optimal allocation model and method for virtual inertia used to improve the small disturbance stability of the system is proposed.

RESUMEN

Objective@#To clinically validate the feasibility and accuracy of cine images acquired through the multitasking method, with no electrocardiogram gating and free-breathing, in measuring left ventricular (LV) function indices by comparing them with those acquired through the balanced steady-state free precession (bSSFP) method, with multiple breath-holds and electrocardiogram gating. @*Materials and Methods@#Forty-three healthy volunteers (female:male, 30:13; mean age, 23.1 ± 2.3 years) and 36 patients requiring an assessment of LV function for various clinical indications (female:male, 22:14; 57.8 ± 11.3 years) were enrolled in this prospective study. Each participant underwent cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using the multiple breath-hold bSSFP method and free-breathing multitasking method. LV function parameters were measured for both MRI methods. Image quality was assessed through subjective image quality scores (1 to 5) and calculation of the contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) between the myocardium and blood pool. Differences between the two MRI methods were analyzed using the Bland–Altman plot, paired t-test, or Wilcoxon signed-rank test, as appropriate. @*Results@#LV ejection fraction (LVEF) was not significantly different between the two MRI methods (P = 0.222 in healthy volunteers and P = 0.343 in patients). LV end-diastolic mass was slightly overestimated with multitasking in both healthy volunteers (multitasking vs. bSSFP, 60.5 ± 10.7 g vs. 58.0 ± 10.4 g, respectively; P < 0.001) and patients (69.4 ± 18.1 g vs. 66.8 ± 18.0 g, respectively; P = 0.003). Acceptable and comparable image quality was achieved for both MRI methods (multitasking vs. bSSFP, 4.5 ± 0.7 vs. 4.6 ± 0.6, respectively; P = 0.203). The CNR between the myocardium and blood pool showed no significant differences between the two MRI methods (18.89 ± 6.65 vs. 18.19 ± 5.83, respectively; P = 0.480). @*Conclusion@#Multitasking-derived cine images obtained without electrocardiogram gating and breath-holding achieved similar image quality and accurate quantification of LVEF in healthy volunteers and patients.

Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture on fatigue improvement and gut microbiota in mice with cancer-related fatigue(CRF),and explore its possible mechanism of action. Methods The mice model of CRF of breast cancer after chemotherapy was established by tumor bearing and chemotherapy. After acupuncture intervention, fatigue was evaluated by general condition, forced swimming and open field experiment. Then 16S rDNA sequencing was used to analyze the structural abundance of gut microbiota in mice. Results Acupuncture could significantly improve the fatigue degree and general condition of the mice model of CRF of breast cancer after chemotherapy. At the same time, acupuncture could adjust the abundance of gut microbiota structure,up-regulate the abundance levels of Lactobacillus,Bacteroides, firmicutes, actinobacteria, and down-regulate the abundance levels of Proteobacteria and Staphylococcus. There were also differences in the abundance of flora structure among the groups, but the abundance of beneficial bacteria was relatively high in the acupuncture group, and the abundance of pathogenic bacteria was relatively high in the other two groups. Conclusion Acupuncture may play a role in the treatment of CRF by regulating the abundance of gut microbiota structure, increasing intestinal beneficial bacteria, inhibiting pathogenic bacteria, improving body immunity, and alleviating adverse reactions caused by chemotherapy for breast cancer.

RESUMEN

Objective:This study investigated the nutritional risk and malnutrition of patients with digestive system malignant tumors in the day ward and evaluated the risk of comorbidity with nutritional risk and the risk factors of malnutrition in this population. Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted to collect patients with malignant tumors of the digestive system who were admitted to the day ward of our hospital from November 23,2020,to December 14,2020.The Nutritional Risk Screening Form(NRS 2002)was used for nutritional risk screening, and the Subjective Assessment of Overall Nutritional Status(PG-SGA)was used to assess malnutrition,to investigate nutritional risk and prevalence of malnutrition, and to analyze potential influencing factors. Results:Among the 464 patients with malignant tumors of the digestive system in the day ward, the incidence of nutritional risk was 26.9%,the incidence of malnutrition was 34.7%,and the incidence of severe malnutrition was 14.2%.Multivariate analysis showed that patients with Karnofsky Performance Status(KPS)score<90 and hypoproteinemia were more likely to have nutritional risk(P<0.05).Patients with KPS score<90 and chemotherapy cycles>6 were more likely to be malnourished(P<0.05).Conclusions:Digestive system malignant tumor patients in the day ward still have a high proportion of nutritional risks and malnutrition. For patients with KPS score<90,hypoalbuminemia,and chemotherapy cycles>6,nutrition issues should be given special attention.
