RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: The aim is to analyze the current problems in communicative development of children with special educational needs. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: The research used a number of scientific methods: general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization), historical, specific research, comparative-historical, and others, which ensured the selection and analysis of the source base, made it possible to determine the general trends in the study of the problem of the communicative development of the child, the achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scientists in the field of research on the language of children with special educational needs, to distinguish the common and the different in the scientific research of scientists. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: Updated studies of scientists from Ukraine, Poland, Sweden, Britain and other countries testify that communication skills are key in the language development of a preschool child, they form the basis without which the child's further education, socialization, etc. are impossible. Meanwhile, there is no unity among scientists in their views on the nature of language disorders and their classification. The contribution of domestic and foreign authors to the study of the communicative development of a child with speech difficulties is singled out.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: The aim of the article is to reveal the potential of Emotional Intelligence (EI) as a factor in strengthening the students' mental health (MH) during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: The experimental work was carried out in four stages: 1) preparation - substantiation of its scientific and theoretical principles; 2) ascertaining - development of prognostic tools, conducting an on-line survey of students, an analysis of its results; 3) formative - training with the experimental group participants following the author's methodology; 4) control - survey of experimental group members, determination of experimental results. About 230 students of Ukraine took part in the survey. The statistical processing of the survey results was performed by formal mathematical calculations and calculating Student's t-criterion in order to verify the equality of the mean dependent values in different samples. RESULTS: Results: The presented results of the research and experiment prove that Emotional Intelligence, in particular its four identified components (іnformation, аdaptivebehaviour, self-control, empathy), can be an effective factor not only in maintaining university students' mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also in their adaptation to other adverse conditions. A comparison of the results of our research with similar sociological research shows the similarity of problems and changes in the students' mental health all over the world during the pandemic. The materials tested during the development of prognostic tools and training methods can be taken into account for the organization of such research and training activities. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: The presented results of the research and experiment prove that EI, in particular its four identified components, can be an effective factor not only in maintaining university students' MH during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also in their adaptation to other adverse conditions. A comparison of the results of our research with similar sociological research shows the similarity of problems and changes in the students' MH all over the world during the pandemic. The materials tested during the development of prognostic tools and training methods are publicly available on the Internet, so they can be taken into account for the organization of such research and training activities. At the same time, we insist that the pandemic should not only intensify the study of changes in MH, but also stimulate the search for effective means to strengthen it. Sir Winston Churchill's eloquent appeal "Never let a good crisis go to waste" should be a guideline in solving this problem.

RESUMEN

The aim of the research is to analyze the problem of inclusive education in Ukraine in the context of world trends. According to its philosophy, each school should be inclusive, which implies the readiness of the school to accept every child with SEN at any time, the desire to create the most favorable educational environment that will serve the development of its potential. According to the results of the analysis, we also conclude that Ukrainian scientists pay more attention to issues of inclusion related to higher education (foreign experience, features of teaching students with inclusion, training future teachers to work with children with disabilities, etc.). Meanwhile, in our opinion, the theoretical and methodological principles, pedagogical conditions, practical methods of organizing inclusive education of children with various types of developmental disabilities are insufficiently studied. This, among other things, highlights the scientific problem raised in our study. Thus, the attention of the Ukrainian state to people with SEN, European-oriented social educational policy is evidenced not only by the reduction of the number of boarding schools, orphans and children deprived of parental care there, but also the dynamics of growing enrollment of children with SEN in inclusive special classes of secondary schools (in 2020/2021 academic year compared to 2015/2016 academic year this amount increased by 7% (from 5.3 thousand to 5.7 thousand). As a result of the development of inclusive education over the past five years, the number of students with SEN covered by inclusive education has increased more than 6 times, and the number of inclusive classes in secondary schools has increased 7 times. Similar changes have taken place in the staffing of inclusive education. Inclusive education and upbringing of children with SEN is a long-term strategy that is considered not as a local area of work, but as a systematic approach to organizing the activities of the general education system in all areas in general.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: The aim of the research is to develop the educational recommendations for acquiring environmental knowledge of future specialists on the basis of the analysis of the educational state of ecology in the theory and practice of higher education. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: During the research, a group of methods was used. It consisted of the theoretical (specific search) methods i.e. analysis, comparison and generalization of scientific literature on the problem of research to systematize and summarize the facts, information, materials on the problem under study and determine the essence of basic concepts; structural and functional methods i.e. analysis of the content of curricula, textbooks, manuals, dictionaries, directories, etc.). RESULTS: Results: Future experts were interviewed to evaluate their environmental and professional orientation and level of environmental knowledge. The questionnaire was aimed at clarifying the following problems: determining the level of environmental knowledge of future specialists for sustainable development; attitude of students to environmental problems; determination of the level of ecological consciousness, environmental activity of students. The questionnaire was created on the Google Forms online resource and was used both online and in the standard standard face-up form in the test form filling at the classrooms. The respondents were students receiving engineering, biological and pedagogical education. The age of the participants in the experimental study reached 18-22 years. The ratio of men and women at this stage of the experiment varied within the following limits: 34.66% of male and 65.34% of male (150 persons in total). CONCLUSION: Conclusions: The great responsibility for the environment and the future gene pool of the nation rests not only on state structures but also on educators, the public, the church and other factors. We suggest, the path to the ecological culture lies through effective environmental education, through the greening of citizens' consciousness. Therefore, in time, the reorientation of the educational system content in the dimension of sustainable development, which envisages its greening in the first place i.e. the development of environmental thinking, the acquisition of environmental knowledge, the formation of environmental behaviors so that children and adolescents can nowadays and in the future be able to satisfy their needs in safety of nature, without harming it, took care of the environment, about their own health and safety, acted in the environment and made appropriate decisions not as consumers but as conscious citizens.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: The aim is to analyze the leading directions of volunteer activity of Ukrainian students in the field of medical, social assistance, education of children, youth and adults in Galicia (end of the 19th - 30s of the 20th century). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: The study uses a number of scientific methods: chronological, historical, specific search, content analysis - provide selection, analysis of the source base, allow to identify general trends, directions of development, achievements and gaps of the Ukrainian student movement in Galicia in the field of medical, social care, education and enlightenment of children and adults in the late XIX - 30s of the XX century; extrapolation and actualization - focus on creative thinking, adaptation and use of this historical experience under the current conditions. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: Voluntary activity of Ukrainian students (end of the 19th - 30s of the 20th century) is an interesting peculiar phenomenon not only in national, but also in European history, which has real achievements and deserves a scientific and theoretical understanding from the standpoint of today. Student volunteer experience in the field of social and medical protection of children and adults, education, cultural development, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, dissemination of sanitary and hygienic knowledge, medical counseling can be useful and instructive now, when Ukraine is fighting against the Russian aggressor. We outline the volunteer activity of students who belonged to the "Medychna hromada" society (1910-1944) as a national phenomenon of the organization of public medical care of the population of Galicia, which has no analogue in the history of Ukrainian medicine. It is primarily about a high degree of civic self-awareness, patriotism, self-sacrifice for the benefit of the Ukrainian people, the provision of medical services to low-income sections of the population, widows, orphans, disabled people, veterans of the Great War, medical care of children and youth, etc. - all this inspires modern doctors who provide assistance to soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, wounded in hospitals, internally displaced persons, etc.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: The aim: Organization of research work to substantiate and verify the potential development of emotional intelligence (EI) among student youth as a factor in preserving their mental health (MH) and adapting to crisis situations, in particular, those caused by military actions in Ukraine. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: The experimental base was 54 student-teachers of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine). They were divided into a control group (34 people) and an experimental group (20 people), who participated in training according to the author's program. The questionnaire "Self-assessment of adaptability and well-being in crisis conditions of martial law" became the main prognostic tool of the research work. It was developed on the basis of D. Lusin's EI measurement technique, the MSCEIT test; the method of differential diagnosis of depressive states by V. Zung. RESULTS: Results: The research work consisted of two parts: theoretical (definition of terminology, conceptual concepts, hypotheses of research work; development of a structural model of EI) and experimental, which was implemented in three stages: ascertainment (determination of the initial level of EI of the participants of the experiment), formative (organization of training according to the author's experimental program), control (determination of changes in the level of proficiency of EI students). The positive influence of the author's program on the increase in the indicators of EG members' possession by four components of EI (informational; adaptive behavior; self-control; empathy) at three levels is substantiated: high - an increase from 12.25% to 25%; average decrease from 43.75 to 47%; low - a decrease from 44% to 28.75%. The common, special, excellent results of our research work and experimental studies of other authors are shown. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: The conducted study generally confirmed the hypothesis that thanks to the training of EI (in particular, its four components: informational; adaptive behavior; self-control; empathy) can become an effective factor in preserving a person's MH and adapting to crisis situations. The prognostic toolkit presented in the work, the procedure for formalizing the results of the experiment, and the methodology of the author's training program for the formation of EI are extremely representative, understandable, and valid. Since the research is based on materials that are publicly available on the Internet, its results can be used and developed by either scientists or medical and social workers, practicing teaching. All life crises, including those caused by military events, mass casualties and large-scale destruction, get to the end sooner or later. Therefore, their experience should be carefully studied in order to effectively use the potential of EI in increasing human life resources.
