RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: Aim: To investigate the dynamics of health and physical development indicators of cadets during their field training exercises of various durations. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and Methods: The research involved 246 cadets (men) of the 1st-4th training years, who were majoring in the specialty 253 referred to as "Military Management" (specialization "Management of Tank Troops"). The research was conducted in 2022-2023 during field training exercises lasting 2 and 4 weeks. Research methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis of literature, medical and biological methods, testing, statistical analysis. RESULTS: Results: It was found that the level of health and physical development of cadets deteriorates during their field training exercises. The worst level among the studied indicators after the cadets' field training exercises was recorded in the indicators of vital index, Robinson index, and endurance level. It was found that the longer the duration of field training exercises, the more the health and physical development of cadets deteriorates. The most pronounced deterioration in the level of the studied indicators was found in the cadets of junior training years. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: The deterioration of cadets' health and physical development during their field training exercises has been proven. The most negative changes occurred in the indicators of the cadets' cardiorespiratory system. The results indicate the need to improve the organization and methods of physical training with cadets during field training exercises, which will help maintain their health and physical development at the proper level.

RESUMEN

Temperature transducers are frequently employed to keep track of process variables with different kinds of industrial controllers. One of the widely used temperature sensors is Pt100. A novel approach of utilizing an electroacoustic transducer in signal conditioning for Pt100 is proposed in this paper. A "signal conditioner" is a resonance tube filled with air, which is operated in a free resonance mode. The Pt100 wires are connected to one of the leads of the speaker in the resonance tube where the temperature changes, which is related to Pt100 resistance. The resistance affects the amplitude of the standing wave that is detected by an electrolyte microphone. An algorithm for measuring the amplitude of the speaker signal is described, as well as the building and functioning of the electroacoustic resonance tube signal conditioner. The microphone signal is acquired as a voltage using LabVIEW software. A virtual instrument (VI) developed under LabVIEW provides a measure of the voltage using standard VIs. The findings of the experiments reveal a link between the measured amplitude of the standing wave within the tube and the change in Pt100 resistance as the ambient temperature changes. Additionally, the suggested method may interface with any computer system when a sound card is added to it without the need for any extra measuring tools. The maximum nonlinearity error at full-scale deflection (FSD) is estimated at roughly 3.77%, and the experimental results and a regression model are used to assess the relative inaccuracy of the developed signal conditioner. When comparing the proposed approach with well-known approaches for Pt100 signal conditioning, the proposed one has several advantages such as its simplicity of connecting Pt100 to a personal computer directly via the sound card of any personal computer. In addition, there is no need for a reference resistance to perform a temperature measurement using such a signal conditioner.

RESUMEN

This study focuses on the assessment of possible hypereutectoid steel carbide mesh crushing. It is used for tools production, including forming rolls of various diameters, with modification and cyclic heat treatment methods. For steel containing 1.79-1.83% C, we studied the effect of 0.35-1.15% Si on the possible crushing of the cementite mesh within crystallization by introducing modifiers Ti, V, N, as well as simultaneously modifying V with N and Ti with N. The obtained castings of Ø200 mm, 400 mm high were cut into discs, from which we made samples for tests on wear, determining mechanical properties, thermal resistance, and susceptibility to brittle fracture. The assessment was performed in the as-cast and after double and triple normalizing and annealing with drawback. With additional fans blowing, we changed the cooling rate from 25 °C/h to 100-150 °C/h. We performed the microstructure analyses using traditional metallographic, micro-X-ray spectral analyses, and also used the segmentation process based on 2D image markers. It was found that the as-cast modifying additives infusion is insufficient for carbide mesh crushing. It can be made by multi-stage normalizing with accelerated cool-down for products up to 600 mm in diameter to cycle temperatures above the steel transfer from a plastic to elastic state (above 450 °C).

The problem of modelling a smooth contour with a regular change in curvature representing a monotone curve with specified accuracy is solved in this article. The contour was formed within the area of the possible location of a convex curve, which can interpolate a point series. The assumption that if a sequence of points can be interpolated by a monotone curve, then the reference curve on which these points have been assigned is monotone, provides the opportunity to implement the proposed approach to estimate the interpolation error of a point series of arbitrary configuration. The proposed methods for forming a convex regular contour by arcs of ellipses and B-spline ensure the interpolation of any point series in parts that can be interpolated by a monotone curve. At the same time, the deflection of the contour from the boundaries of the area of the possible location of the monotone curve can be controlled. The possibilities of the developed methods are tested while solving problems of the interpolation of a point series belonging to monotone curves. The problems are solved in the CAD system of SolidWorks with the use of software application created based on the methods developed in the research work.

The paper addresses the problem of modeling a smooth contour interpolating a point series belonging to a curve containing no special points, which represents the original curve with specified accuracy. The contour is formed within the area of possible location of the parts of the interpolated curve along which the curvature values are monotonously increased or decreased. The absolute interpolation error of the point series is estimated by the width of the area of possible location of the curve. As a result of assigning each intermediate point, the location of two new sections of the curve that lie within the area of the corresponding output section is obtained. When the interpolation error becomes less than the given value, the area of location of the curve is considered to be formed, and the resulting point series is interpolated by a contour that lies within the area. The possibility to shape the contours with arcs of circles specified by characteristics is investigated.
