RESUMEN

The discovery of novel two-dimensional (2D) half-metallic materials with a robust ferromagnetic (FM) order and a high Curie temperature (Tc) is attractive for the advancement of next-generation spintronic devices. Here, we propose a monolayer with stable 2D intrinsic FM half-metallicity, i.e., the CrSc2Te4 monolayer, which was constructed by intercalating a monolayer of 1T-CrTe2-type sandwiched between two layers of 2H-ScTe2 monolayers. Our calculations reveal that it exhibits exceptional dynamical, thermal, and mechanical stabilities accompanied by a robust half-metallicity characterized by a wide bandgap of 1.02 eV and FM ordering with a high Tc of 326 K. Notably, these properties remain intact in almost the entire range of the biaxial strain from -5% to 5%. Furthermore, our investigations demonstrate excellent spin transport capabilities, including an outstanding spin-filtering effect, and a remarkably high tunneling magnetoresistance ratio peaking at 6087.07%. The remarkable magnetic features of the 2D CrSc2Te4 monolayer with room temperature FM, intrinsic half-metallicity, and 100% spin-polarization make it a promising candidate for the next-generation high-performance spintronic nanodevices as well as high-density magnetic recording and sensors.

RESUMEN

We propose a laser ranging calibration optical path system using multiple optoelectronic oscillators (OEOs) that provides long range, high precision, low cost and high stability. A phase locked loop is used to control the length of the calibration optical path, which is measured with high precision by alternating the oscillations between the measurement loop and the reference loop. The calibration optical path length exceeds 9000 m with the stability of 6.8 µm during 3 minutes, and the relative measurement accuracy of the calibration optical path reaches 6.9 × 10-10.

RESUMEN

Keloid is a kind of proliferative scar with continuous growth, no restriction and easy recurrence, which cannot be cured and bring serious physical injury and psychological burden to patients. The main reason is that the pathological mechanism is not clear. Therefore, this project is expected to reveal the immune microenvironment-related genes and their functions in keloid progression, and provide effective targets for the treatment of keloid. Firstly, 8 kinds of immune infiltrating cells and 19 potential characteristic genes were identified by immune infiltration analysis, ssGSEA, LASSO regression (glmnet algorithm and lars algorithm) and WGCNA, indicating that keloid was closely related to the changes of immune microenvironment. Then, 4 pathological biomarkers of keloid (MAPK1, PTPRC, STAT3 and IL1R1) were identified by differentially analysis, univariate analysis, LASSO regression (lars algorithm), support vector machine recursive feature elimination (SVM-REF) algorithm, multivariate logical regression analysis and six machine learning algorithms. Based on the 4 feature genes, the risk prediction model and nomogram were constructed. Calibration curve and ROC analysis (AUC = 0.930) showed that the model had reliable clinical value. Subsequently, consistent cluster analysis was used to find that there were 2 immune microenvironment subsets in keloid patients, of which subgroup II was immune subgroup. Multiple independent datasets and RT-qPCR showed that the expression trend of the 4 genes was consistent with the analysis. Cell gain-loss experiment confirmed that 4 genes regulated the proliferation and migration of keloid cells. The above data shows that MAPK1, PTPRC, STAT3 and IL1R1 may be personalized therapeutic targets for keloid patients.

RESUMEN

High-precision micro-displacement sensing based on an optical filter and optoelectronic oscillators (OEOs) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. In this scheme, an optical filter is utilized to separate the carriers of the measurement and reference OEO loops. Through the optical filter, the common path structure can be consequently achieved. The two OEO loops share all optical/electrical components, except for the micro-displacement to be measured. Measurement and reference OEOs are alternately oscillated by using a magneto-optic switch. Therefore, self-calibration is achieved without additional cavity length control circuits, greatly simplifying the system. A theoretical analysis of the system is developed, and this analysis is then demonstrated with experiments. Regarding the micro-displacement measurements, we achieved a sensitivity of 312.058 kHz/mm and a measurement resolution of 356 pm. The measurement precision is less than 130 nm over a measurement range of 19 mm.

RESUMEN

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have exhibited huge potential in electrocatalytic fields. However, the intrinsic low conductivity and the blockage of metal active sites by organic linkers still seriously hinder their large-scale application. In this study, as a proof of principle, constructing cofacial π-π stacking in the terminal ligand (4,4'-bipyridine) of a Ni/Fe-chain-based MOF to fabricate strong π-π interaction, in combination with unique hexagonal nanorod (HXR) structure, is found to be an effective strategy to enhance one-dimensional charge carrier efficiency and thus achieve excellent activity in the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). The approach yields a high turnover frequency (4.54 s-1 ) in well-designed bimetallic chain-based MOFs (NiFe-HXR) at an overpotential of 350 mV, which is about 8.7 and 34.9 times higher than those in Ni-HXR (0.52 s-1 ) and IrO2 (0.13 s-1 ), respectively. This work effectively combines "through-bond" channel in chain-based structure of NiFe-HXR and "through-space" transport between face-to-face terminal ligands, thus resulting in outstanding OER activity. This strategy of modulating the structure chemistry and morphology of MOFs to promote the OER may open a new perspective to synthesize MOFs for energy-relevant electrochemical reactions.

RESUMEN

Ocular trauma is a major cause of monocular blindness worldwide. Vitrectomy at correct timing can significantly improve the efficacy and prognosis, but the timing of vitrectomy has remained highly controversial for decades. Trauma cases are different from each other, thus, a flexible timing system based on the details of each individual case is recommended. Unfortunately, no such a timing system is available for clinical application up to now. To establish the vitrectomy timing individualization system for ocular trauma (VTISOT), we first identified 6 independent tPVR risk factors (including Zone 3 Injury, Zone 3 retinal Laceration, Massive Vitreous Hemorrhage, Retinal Disorder, Timing of Vitrectomy and Type of Injury) by retrospective study. Then, the tPVR score was established by binary logistic regression analysis. Most importantly and critically, the vitrectomy timing individualization system for ocular trauma was established based on the identified tPVR risk factors and the tPVR score. The following evaluation of the VTISOT showed that the patients consistent with the VTISOT principles exhibited reduced tPVR incidence and better surgical results. In short, the VTISOT principles were established, which may provide a new approach to individualize the timing of vitrectomy and improve the prognosis after trauma.
