RESUMEN
The article describes the results of a comparative prospective study of the results of correcting age-related changes in the skin of the face and neck in 72 patients using native platelet auto plasma and a new method for obtaining its thermally processed modifications based on the denaturation of protein plasma fractions when heated in a thermostat to different temperatures. (Patent No. 2629527/August 29, 2017.). The results obtained suggest that the use of a combination of native platelet auto plasma (PAP) with its thermally processed modifications to correct age-related changes in the skin of the face and neck is more effective than monotherapy of native PAP. The absence of complications during the observation period and the autologous nature of the material allow us to speak about the high level of safety of this method of treatment.

The article tells about one of the actual problem of the provision of medical and social care for elderly and old aged people, through the organization of nursing care beds in the Voronezh region. Since the beginning of 2014 there were organized 320 such beds in 27 medical organizations of the region. Regular surveys of patients and their relatives, as well as personnel involved in the care service, made it possible to make the necessary adjustments and the further expansion of services in other hospitals. Thus the end of 2014 the number of nursing beds has been increased to 525, so more than a thousand patients have received the necessary nursing care.

AIM: To study airways reactivity in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). MATERIAL AND METHODS: Berotek and histamine tests were performed in 29 DM patients (type 1 DM - 20, type 2 DM - 9 patients) and 39 DM patients (12 and 27 patients, respectively). The age of the patients varied from 16 to 66 years. RESULTS: Positive berotek test was in 6 (20.7%) patients (delta FEV1 > 200). Of them 5 had type 1 DM. Positive histamine test was registered in 9 patients with type 2 DM (23.1%). This indicates bronchial hyperreactivity (BH). A qualitative analysis with Fisher's criterion detected correlation between BH and type of DM, BH and intake of sugar reducing tablets. Correlations between BH, body mass index, diabetes duration and late complications were not found. CONCLUSION: DM patients have predisposition to bronchial spasm. Positive bronchodilation test was mainly in type 1 DM, BH in response to histamine was obtained in type 2 DM. Different mechanisms of a bronchospasm in type 1 and 2 DM are demonstrated. Predisposition to bronchospasm may play an unfavourable role in the course of nonspecific pulmonary diseases in DM patients.

AIM: To study efficacy of infrared laser radiation on the adrenal projection region in patients with bronchial asthma (BA). MATERIAL AND METHODS: The adrenal region of BA patients was exposed to infrared laser radiation. The effect was stated after blood count, examination of the urine and sputum, blood biochemical tests, blood hydrocortisone assay. RESULTS: Positive clinical response to laser therapy manifested with improvement of clinical, device and spirometric indices in BA patients. Blood levels of hydrocortisone normalized. CONCLUSION: Infrared laser radiation of adrenal projection region reduced the number of asphyxia attacks, improved bronchial drainage, shortened the disease duration. The method is well tolerated, safe, easy to make and suggested for use in combined treatment of BA.

100 patients with nasal septum deformity were divided into two groups. 50 patients of group 1 have undergone resection of the deformed part of the septum with implantation of the metalloceramic plate. Hyperplastic inferior turbinated bones were exposed to submucous radiowaves. 50 control patients of group 2 have undergone submucous resection of the septum according to Killian. Side effects in group 1 were rare, while long-term functional results were good.
