RESUMEN

Salinity is among the most critical factors limiting the growth and species distribution of coastal plants. Water salinity in estuarine ecosystems varies temporally and spatially, but the variation patterns across different time scales and salinity fluctuation have rarely been quantified. The effects of salinity on floristic diversity in mangroves are not fully understood due to the temporal and spatial heterogeneity of salinity. In this study, we monitored water salinity at an interval of 10-min over one year in three mangrove catchment areas representing the outer part, middle part, and inner part respectively of Dongzhai Bay, Hainan, China. The number of mangrove community types and dominant mangrove species of the three catchment areas were also investigated. We found that the diurnal variation and dry-season intra-month variation in water salinity were driven by tidal cycles. The seasonal variation in water salinity was mainly driven by rainfall with higher salinity occurring in the dry season and lower salinity occurring in the wet season. Spatially, water salinity was highest at the outer part, intermediate at the middle part, and lowest at the inner part of the bay. The intra-month and annual fluctuations of water salinity were highest at the middle part and lowest at the outer part of the bay. The number of mangrove community types and dominant species were lowest at the outer part, intermediate at the middle part, and highest at the inner part of the bay. These results suggest that the temporal variation of water salinity in mangroves is driven by different factors at different time scales and therefore it is necessary to measure water salinity at different time scales to get a complete picture of the saline environment that mangroves experience. Spatially, lower salinity levels benefit mangrove species richness within a bay landscape, however, further research is needed to distinguish the effects of salinity fluctuation and salinity level in affecting mangrove species richness.

RESUMEN

Mangroves sequester and store large area-specific quantities of blue carbon (C) and essential nutrients such as nitrogen (N) and phosphorous (P). Quantifying C and nutrient burial rates in mangroves across a centennial time span and relating these rates to mangrove habitat is fundamental for elucidating the role of mangroves in carbon and nutrient budgets and their responses to environmental changes. However, relevant data are very limited in China. In this study, we used the radionuclides (210Pb and 137Cs) to determine chronologies and C, N and P burial rates in two mangrove forests located at different geomorphologic settings in NE Hainan Island, China. We found that the temporal patterns of C, N and P burial rates since 1900 fitted a quadratic function with a notable increase after 1960s in both mangroves, which coincided with the rapid development of coastal aquaculture since 1960s in NE Hainan and the subsequent coastal water eutrophication in this area. Sediment accretion rate (SAR) and mass accumulation rate (MAR) stayed relatively steady in the open-coastal mangroves, while they increased exponentially in the estuarine mangroves since 1900. The estuarine mangroves had significantly higher SAR and C, N and P burial rates than the open-coastal mangroves. C, N and P burial rates averaged at 141.52 g m-2 a-1, 6.27 g m-2 a-1 and 1.14 g m-2 a-1, respectively in the estuarine core, and these rates averaged at 61.71 g m-2 a-1, 3.71 g m-2 a-1 and 0.43 g m-2 a-1, respectively in the open-coastal core. The results suggest that estuarine mangroves may be more capable of surviving accelerating sea level rise under climate change and play a greater role in C accumulation and nutrient filtering under anthropogenic nutrient enrichment than marine-dominated mangroves. Blue C burial may be enhanced by coastal water eutrophication, but such a relationship needs to be tested in further studies.

RESUMEN

Supramolecular polymerization can not only activate guest phosphorescence, but also promote phosphorescence Förster resonance energy transfer and induce effective delayed fluorescence. Herein, the solid supramolecular assemblies of ternary copolymers based on acrylamide, modified ß-cyclodextrin (CD), and carbazole (CZ) are reported. After doping with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and dyes, a NIR luminescence supramolecular composite with a lifetime of 1.07 s, an energy transfer efficiency of up to 97.4% is achieved through tandem phosphorescence energy transfer. The ternary copolymers can realize macrocyclic enrichment of dyes in comparison to CZ and acrylamide copolymers without CD, which can facilitate energy transfer between triplet and singlet with a high donor-acceptor ratio. Additionally, the flexible polymeric films exhibit regulable lifetime, tunable luminescence color, and repeatable switchable afterglow by adjusting the excitation wavelength, donor-acceptor ratio, and wet/dry stimuli. The luminescence materials are successfully applied to information encryption and anti-counterfeiting.

RESUMEN

A multicolor persistent luminescence solid polymeric system based on macrocycle-confined phosphorescence energy transfer was constructed with γ-cyclodextrin (γ-CD) and poly(vinyl alcohol) modified by triphenylene derivative (TP-PVA). Attributed to the fact that macrocycles effectively suppress the aggregation of guests and form a rigid environment via coassembling with the polymer, the phosphorescence lifetime of the yielded polymeric films is prolonged from 0.22 to 5.84 s, accompanied by a visible afterglow of more than 1 min. Furthermore, upon doping with several commercial dyes, full-color afterglow emissions with a duration of more than 50 s are realized through phosphorescence energy transfer. Notably, the multicolor-emitting-afterglow materials are successfully exploited for noctilucent lighting and anticounterfeiting ink.

RESUMEN

Human vibriosis, caused by pathogenic Vibrio spp., such as Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio cholerae and Vibrio vulnificus, has been increasing worldwide, mediated by increasing consumption of seafood. The present study was conducted to examine the global prevalence of V. vulnificus, V. parahaemolyticus and V. cholerae in fishes. We searched PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and CNKI for peer-reviewed articles and dissertations prior to December 31, 2021. A total of 24,831 articles were retrieved, and 82 articles contained 61 fish families were included. The global pooled prevalence of V. cholerae, V. parahaemolyticus and V. vulnificus in fishes was 9.56 % (95 % CI: 2.12-20.92), 24.77 % (95 % CI: 17.40-32.93) and 5.29 % (95 % CI: 0.38-13.61), respectively. Subgroup and meta-regression analyses showed that study-level covariates, including temperature, country, continent, origin and detection methods partly explained the between-study heterogeneity. These heterogeneities were underpinned by differences of the three Vibrio spp. in fishes at geographical and climatic scales. These results reveal a high global prevalence of pathogenic Vibrio spp. in fishes and highlight the need for implementation of more effective prevention and control measures to reduce food-borne infection in humans.

RESUMEN

Nickel-coated graphite (Ni/C) powder has many applications in diverse areas such as paint, print ink, adhesive, conductive rubber, and so on. To increase its stability in harsh environmental conditions, the electroless plating of silver film on Ni/C via ascorbic acid was studied. A silver layer with a thickness of 2.5 µm was successfully plated on Ni/C powder's surface with an Ag loading of 44.35 wt.%. Silica gel blended with the Ag/Ni/C powder exhibited much higher conductivity under aging conditions of 85 °C and 85% RH for 1000 h than that with pristine Ni/C powder. Further tests showed that the conductivity of Ag/Ni/C powder remained almost unchanged even in an extremely humid and hot condition for 1000 h. Aging tests were carried out for Ag/Ni/C and Ni/C powders under long-term humid and hot conditions (85 °C, 85% RH), in which Ag/Ni/C samples showed much better electromagnetic shielding performance. Due to the excellent properties and reasonable price, the potential applications of Ag/Ni/C in conductive glue and electromagnetic shielding glue could be expected.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVES: Acute ischemic stroke in cancer patients is uncommon. The study was aimed to identify the relationship of patients' characteristics and the interval time between the diagnosis of stroke and cancer. METHODS: The clinical features of acute ischemic stroke patients with cancer were retrospectively analyzed from May, 2016 to April, 2021. Categorical data was compared between groups using chi-square test. Hematological biomarkers were compared using Mann-Whitney U test. RESULTS: A total of 70 acute ischemic stroke patients with cancer were identified. The median interval time between the diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke and cancer was 53.0 months. Patients with interval < 53.0 months and > 53.0 months were regarded the short interval group and the long interval group, respectively. Between the short and long interval groups, there was no significant differences in respect to sex, age, chemotherapy, hypertension, diabetes, smoking, atrial fibrillation and dyslipidemia. The medians of homocysteine, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and fibrinogen were also not significantly different between the two different interval groups. D-dimer in the short interval group was higher than that in the long interval group (216 vs. 142 ng/mL, p = 0.037). The long interval group had more surgery for cancer than the short interval group (94.3% vs. 57.1%, p = 0.000). CONCLUSION: In conclusion, in patients with ischemic stroke and cancer, patients with short interval time between the diagnosis of ischemic stroke and cancer had higher D-dimer than patients with long interval time.

RESUMEN

Objective: To investigate the application and the clinical efficacy of wrist arthroscopy in the treatment of carpal intraosseous ganglion cysts (IGCs). Methods: A retrospective case study method was adopted to analyze the clinical data of 28 patients with carpal IGCs admitted to the Sixth Hospital of Ningbo from April 2012 to January 2019. A hypodensity in the bone was shown by X-ray before the operation, with hypodensity and cystic change in the bone being confirmed by computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Arthroscopic open window of the wrist, cystectomy, and autologous iliac bone graft implantation were conducted. Regular postoperative X-ray combined with CT follow-ups were conducted to observe the healing after bone implantation. Patients were followed up regularly and assessed by the Modified Mayo Wrist Score in four aspects of the postoperative pain, wrist mobility, grip, and function to provide an objective overall assessment of the therapeutic outcome. Results: All 28 patients were followed up for 8-16 months, with an average follow-up duration of 10 months. After the operation, pain disappeared completely for 25 patients, and 3 cases showed significant improvement. All cases were pathologically confirmed as ganglion cysts and had first-stage bony healing after bone grafting with an average healing time of 10.8 weeks. The grip returned to normal for all patients, and wrist flexion and extension were the same as the healthy wrist for 25 patients, with a Modified Mayo Wrist Score of excellent in 19 cases and good in 9 cases. No recurrence was observed. Conclusion: In patients with symptomatic carpal IGCs, the application of arthroscopic open window, cystectomy, and autologous bone graft implantation could achieve satisfactory clinical therapeutic effects.

RESUMEN

With the aim to discover novel lactic acid bacteria and Bacillus strains from fish as potential probiotics to replace antibiotics in aquaculture, the present study was conducted to isolate lactic acid bacteria and Bacillus from intestinal tract of healthy crucian carp (Carassiu auratus) and largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) and evaluate their resistance against Aeromonas veronii. Based on the evaluation of antibacterial activity and tolerance test, one strain of lactic acid bacteria (Weissella cibaria C-10) and one strain of Bacillus (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens T-5) with strong environmental stability were screened out. The safety evaluation showed that these two strains were non-toxic to crucian carp and were sensitive to most antibiotics. In vivo study, the crucian carps were fed a basal diet supplemented with W. cibaria C-10 (C-10), B. amyloliquefaciens T-5 (T-5) and W. cibaria C-10 + B. amyloliquefaciens T-5 (C-10+T-5), respectively, for 5 weeks. Then, various immune parameters were measured at 35 days of post-feeding. Results showed both probiotics could improve the activities of related immune enzymes, immune factors and non-specific immune antibodies in blood and organs (gill, gut, kidney, liver, and spleen) of crucian carp in varying degrees. Moreover, after 7 days of challenge experiment, the survival rates after challenged with A. veronii of W. cibaria C-10 (C-10), B. amyloliquefaciens T-5 (T-5) and W. cibaria C-10 + B. amyloliquefaciens T-5 (C-10+T-5) supplemented groups to the crucian carps were 20%, 33% and 22%, respectively. Overall, W. cibaria C-10 and B. amyloliquefaciens T-5 could be considered to be developed into microecological preparations for the alternatives of antibiotics in aquaculture.

RESUMEN

Organic phosphorescence materials have received wide attention in bioimaging for bio-low toxicity and large Stokes. Herein, a design strategy to achieve near-infrared (NIR) excitation and emission of organic room-temperature phosphorescence through two-stage confinement supramolecular assembly is presented. Via supramolecular macrocyclic confinement, the host-guest complexes exhibit phosphorescence with two-photon absorption (excitation wavelength up to 890 nm) and NIR emission (emission wavelength up to 800 nm) in aqueous solution, and further nano-confinement assembly significantly strengthens phosphorescence. Moreover, the nano-assemblies possess color-tunable luminescence spanning from the visible to NIR regions under different excitation wavelengths. Intriguingly, the prepared water-soluble assemblies maintain two-photon absorption and multicolor luminescence in cells or vivo.

RESUMEN

Although purely organic room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) has drawn widespread attention in recent years, regulatable phosphorescence resonance energy transfer (PRET) supramolecular switch is still rare. Herein, single molecular dual-fold supramolecular light switches, which are constructed by phenylpyridinium salts modified diarylethene derivatives (DTE-Cn, n = 3, 5) and cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) are reported. Significantly, biaxial [3]pseudorotaxane displayed efficiently reversible RTP after binding with CB[8] and the phosphorescence quenching efficiency is calculated up to be 99%. Furthermore, the binary supramolecular assembly can coassemble with Cy5 to form ternary supramolecular assembly showing efficiently PRET, which is successfully applied in switchable near infrared (NIR) mitochondria-targeted cell imaging and photocontrolled data encryption. This supramolecular strategy involving energy transfer provides a convenient approach for phosphorescent application in biology and material fields.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Growing evidence has showed long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play critical roles in bladder cancer (BC) progression. LncRNA taurine upregulated gene 1 (TUG1) was involved in the development of human malignancies. However, the intrinsic and concrete molecular mechanisms of TUG1 in BC remain largely unknown. METHODS: Expression patterns of TUG1, miR-320a and FOXQ1 in BC tissues and cell lines were measured using qRT-PCR and western blot, respectively. Cell proliferation was detected by CCK-8 and colony formation assays. The capacity of cell migration and invasion was evaluated using wound healing and transwell assay. Tumor xenograft assay was performed to further validate the role of TUG1 in BC progression. Dual luciferase reporter assay and FISH analysis were employed to verify the TUG1/miR-320a/FOXQ1 regulatory network. RESULTS: TUG1 was significantly higher expression in BC specimens and cell lines. TUG1 knockdown suppressed BC cells malignant behaviors in vitro and inhibited tumor growth and metastasis in vivo, while TUG1 overexpression promoted BC cells malignant behaviors in vitro. However, the function of miR-320a was opposite to that of TUG1, and miR-320a inhibitor partially eliminated the inhibitory effect of TUG1 knockdown on the malignant behavior of BC cells. As a microRNA sponge, TUG1 actively elevated FOXQ1 expression to sponge miR-320a and subsequently promoted BC cells malignant phenotypes. CONCLUSION: TUG1 may have great potential as therapeutic target for BC, since TUG1 silencing inhibited cell proliferation, migration and invasion in BC, while promoted cell apoptosis, by regulating the miR-320a/FOXQ1 axis.

RESUMEN

In recent years, purely organic room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) has aroused wide concern and promotes the development of the supramolecular phosphorescence. Different from organic crystallization, polymerization, or matrix rigidification, supramolecular strategy mainly takes advantage of the synergy between supramolecular co-assembly and strong binding by macrocyclic host compounds (cucurbit[n]urils, cyclodextrins, etc.) to overcome deficiencies such as poor processability and water solubility and improves RTP materials' quantum efficiency and lifetime in the solid state or in an aqueous solution. Meanwhile, it expands application, especially in aqueous solution, in cell imaging. Therefore, supramolecular phosphorescence will become a new growth point and will have broad application prospects in chemistry, biology, and material science. This Account focuses on the uniquely synergetic advantages of co-assembly and host-guest interaction from macrocyclic hosts for enhancing RTP. This Account starts with a brief introduction of the recent development of organic RTP materials as well as the host-guest interaction and co-assembly. Then, we introduce a supramolecular solid-state RTP strategy involving an ultrahigh phosphorescent quantum yield via the tight encapsulation of macrocyclic host cucurbit[6]uril, an ultralong lifetime via changing the substituents of phosphors, and long-lived and bright RTP by the synergy of host-guest interaction and polymerization. Meanwhile, the applications of solid-state RTP materials for anti-counterfeiting and data encryption are presented. The third part will be the water-phase supramolecular phosphorescence systems constructed by water-soluble macrocyclic host cucurbit[8]uril. Host-guest interaction and polymerization worked together toward efficient phosphorescence in aqueous solution, and the multi-stage assembly promoted phosphorescent applications such as cell targeted imaging and energy transfer. A humidity sensor and data encryption by the conversion of supramolecular hydrogels and xerogels are also involved. In the summary section, we present perspectives and possible research directions for supramolecular phosphorescence.Furthermore, on the basis of previous research, we would like to conclude and propose the developing concept of "macrocycles enhance guest's phosphorescence", and this concept not only means that the macrocyclic host limits the movement of the guest compound or promotes interactions between guest compounds but also involves the synergetic enhancement centered on macrocyclic compounds via multi-stage supramolecular assembly which further improves the efficiency of RTP, water solubility, and biocompatibility. And we believe that this concept will be able, together with theory of "assembly-induced emission" and "aggregation-induced emission", to accelerate the development of purely organic RTP materials.

RESUMEN

Constructing ultralong organic phosphorescent materials possessing a high quantum yield is challenging. Herein, assemblies of purely organic supramolecular pins composed of alkyl-bridged phenylpyridinium salts and cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) are reported. Different from "one host with two guests" and "head-to-tail" binding, the binding formation of supramolecular pins is "one host with one guest" and "head-to-head," which overcomes electrostatic repulsion and promotes intramolecular charge transfer. The supramolecular pin 1/CB[8] displays afterglow with high phosphorescence quantum yield (99.38%) after incorporation into a rigid matrix, which is the highest yield reported to date for phosphorescent materials. Moreover, multicolor photoluminescence can be obtained by different excitation wavelengths and ratios of host to guest. Owing to the redshift of the absorption, the supramolecular pins are applied for targeted phosphorescence imaging of mitochondria. This work will provide a reasonable supramolecular strategy to achieve redshifted and efficient phosphorescence both in the solid state and in aqueous solution.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Multiple primary malignancies (MPM) are characterized by two or more primary malignancies in the same patient, excluding relapse or metastasis of prior cancer. We aimed to elucidate the clinical features and survival of MPM patients. AIM: To elucidate the clinical features and survival of MPM patients. METHODS: A retrospective study of MPM patients was conducted in our hospital between June 2016 and June 2019. Overall survival (OS) was calculated using the Kaplan-Meier method. The log-rank test was used to compare the survival of different groups. RESULTS: A total of 243 MPM patients were enrolled, including 222 patients with two malignancies and 21 patients with three malignancies. Of patients with two malignancies, 51 (23.0%) had synchronous MPM, and 171 (77.7%) had metachronous MPM. The most common first cancers were breast cancer (33, 14.9%) and colorectal cancer (31, 14.0%). The most common second cancers were non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (66, 29.7%) and gastric cancer (24, 10.8%). There was no survival difference between synchronous and metachronous MPM patients (36.4 vs 35.3 mo, P = 0.809). Patients aged > 65 years at diagnosis of the second cancer had a shorter survival than patients ≤ 65 years (28.4 vs 36.4 mo, P = 0.038). Patients with distant metastasis had worse survival than patients without metastasis (20.4 vs 86.9 mo, P = 0.000). Following multivariate analyses, age > 65 years and distant metastasis were independent adverse prognostic factors for OS. CONCLUSION: During follow-up of a first cancer, the occurrence of a second or more cancers should receive greater attention, especially for common concomitant MPM, to ensure early detection and treatment of the subsequent cancer.

RESUMEN

PDB-1 is a new C-27-carboxylated-lupane-triterpenoid derivative isolated from Potentilla discolor Bunge. In our previous research, PDB-1 was suggested to have an obvious selectivity for tumor cells. This study focused on clarifying PDB-1's anticancer mechanism in the inhibition of proliferation and in the induction of apoptosis and autophagy in A549 cells. In general, A549 cells were treated with PDB-1 for different times, and cell survival was assessed by a CCK8 assay. The assessment of intracellular reactive oxygen species, a mitochondrial membrane potential assay, a cell cycle assay, an annexin V-FITC/PI assay, and MDC staining were performed in A549 cells treated with PDB-1. Moreover, the mRNA and protein expression of cell cycle-, apoptosis- and autophagy-related factors were detected by RT-qPCR and western blotting. The results showed that PDB-1 inhibited A549 cell proliferation and colony formation in a dose- and time-dependent manner. The decrease in the viability of A549 cells was due to a G2/M cell cycle arrest. Moreover, PDB-1 induced cell apoptosis, accompanied by an increase in the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio and an increase in the expression levels of cleaved caspase-3/caspase-9. We also found that PDB-1 induced autophagy by increasing the conversion of LC3-I to LC3-II and elevating Beclin-1. In addition, further studies indicated that pretreatment with a specific PI3K inhibitor (LY294002) enhanced the effects of PDB-1 on the expression of proteins associated with apoptosis and autophagy, demonstrating that the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway was related to PDB-1-induced apoptosis and autophagy. These results indicated that PDB-1 may be considered a potential candidate for the future treatment of lung adenocarcinoma. These findings should benefit the development of the C14-COOH type of pentacyclic triterpenoids.

RESUMEN

In this study, an optical manipulation and micro-surface-enhanced Raman scattering (microSERS) setup based on a microcavity was developed for efficient capture of gold nanoparticles using the photothermal effect. In addition, optical manipulation of gold nanoparticles and SERS signal detection were performed using only one laser. The results show that the SERS enhancement effect based on the microcavity was more than 20 times that based on a gold colloid solution. The laser power and velocity of nanoparticles exhibited a good linear relationship, and the velocity of nanoparticles decreased with decreasing radius r, which verifies the detriment of the radial thermophoresis in this study. This method can be used to quickly and efficiently drive metal nanoparticles and provides a promising approach for analysis of substances in the fields of chemistry and biology.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors. The role of tumor microenvironment in esophageal cancer is unclear. METHODS: The gene expression profiles and clinical data of 158 patients with esophageal cancer were extracted from The Cancer Genome Atlas database. Immune scores and stromal scores were calculated based on ESTIMATE algorithm. According to different immune/stromal scores, differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified. The function enrichment, protein interactions of shared DEGs and their associations with overall survival were analyzed. RESULTS: In regard to the association of the immune/stromal scores and disease stage, pathological type and overall survival, only the stromal scores among the different stages were significantly different (P=0.015). In the high immune and stromal score groups, 603 shared up-regulated genes were found. The related function and pathways included regulation of lymphocyte activation, cytokine binding and chemokine signaling pathway. Protein-protein interaction analysis showed that ITGAM had the most connections, followed by CXCL10 and CCR2. High expression of 11 genes, including MS4A7, TMIGD3, MS4A4A, EVI2A, MS4A6A, FCER1G, AIF1, GNGT2, LCP2, DNAJC5B and RNASE6, were found to be associated with shorter overall survival. CONCLUSIONS: Microenvironment-associated functions and pathways were analyzed in esophageal cancer, and 11 microenvironment-associated genes were correlated to poor prognoses. Further studies on these genes may be helpful to understand the tumor microenvironment and provide new therapies for esophageal cancer.

RESUMEN

T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) is a type of aggressive leukemia with inferior prognosis. Although activating mutations of NOTCH1 are observed in most T-ALL cases, these mutations alone are not sufficient to drive the full development of T-ALL. ß-Arrestins (ARRB) are versatile and multifunctional adapter proteins that regulate diverse cellular functions, including promoting the development of cancer. However, the role of ARRBs in T-ALL has largely remained elusive. In this study, we showed that ARRB1 is expressed at low levels in assayed T-ALL clinical samples and cell lines. Exogenous ARRB1 expression inhibited T-ALL proliferation and improved the survival of T-ALL xenograft animals. ARRB1 facilitated NOTCH1 ubiquitination and degradation through interactions with NOTCH1 and DTX1. Mechanistically, the oncogenic miRNA (oncomiR) miR-223 targets the 3'-UTR of ARRB1 (BUTR) and inhibits its expression in T-ALL. Furthermore, overexpression of the ARRB1-derived miR-223 sponge suppressed T-ALL cell proliferation and induced apoptosis. Collectively, these results demonstrate that ARRB1 acts as a tumor suppressor in T-ALL by promoting NOTCH1 degradation, which is inhibited by elevated miR-223, suggesting that ARRB1 may serve as a valid drug target in the development of novel T-ALL therapeutics.Significance: These findings highlight a novel tumor suppressive function of the adaptor protein ß-arrestin1 in T-ALL.
