RESUMEN

The inheritance of recurrent patellar dislocation (RPD) is known, but the susceptible gene remains unidentified. Here, we performed the first whole exome sequencing (WES) cohort study to identify the susceptible genes. The results showed eight genes were associated with this disease. Notably, the carboxypeptidase D (CPD) gene showed the highest relevance based on its gene function and tissue expression. Single-cell sequencing results indicate that the CPD gene is involved in the pathophysiological process of RPD through granulocytes. Implicated pathways include nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB), mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK), and Wnt/ß-catenin signaling, potentially influencing CPD's role in RPD pathogenesis. This study identified the susceptible gene and investigates the potential pathogenesis of RPD, which provided a new prospect for the understanding of RPD. Besides, it would offer the theoretical basis for disease prevention and genetic counseling.

Microeukaryotic plankton communities are keystone components for keeping aquatic primary productivity. Currently, variations in microeukaryotic plankton diversity have often been explained by local ecological factors but not by evolutionary constraints. We used amplicon sequencing of 100 water samples across five years to investigate the ecological preferences of the microeukaryotic plankton community in a subtropical riverine ecosystem. We found that microeukaryotic plankton diversity was less associated with bacterial abundance (16S rRNA gene copy number) than bacterial diversity. Further, environmental effects exhibited a larger influence on microeukaryotic plankton community composition than bacterial community composition, especially at fine taxonomic levels. The evolutionary constraints of microeukaryotic plankton community increased with decreasing taxonomic resolution (from 97% to 91% similarity levels), but not significant change from 85% to 70% similarity levels. However, compared with the bacterial community, the evolutionary constraints were shown to be more affected by environmental variables. This study illustrated possible controlling environmental and bacterial drivers of microeukaryotic diversity and community assembly in a subtropical river, thereby indirectly reflecting on the quality status of the water environment by providing new clues on the microeukaryotic community assembly.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the risk factors and maternal and fetal outcomes of preeclampsia after pregnancy in patients with primary chronic hypertension. METHODS: A total of 500 singleton pregnant women with a history of hypertension who were admitted for delivery at our Hospital from March 2015 to May 2022 were retrospectively collected by random sampling and divided into the non-occurrence group (n = 200) and the occurrence group (n = 300) according to whether they were complicated by preeclampsia. Afterward, the general data and the pregnancy-related data of patients were collected for comparison. RESULTS: The univariate analysis showed significant differences between the non-occurrence group and the occurrence group in terms of the proportion of preeclampsia history (4.00% VS 24.67%, χ2 = 37.383, P < 0.001), duration of hypertension > 3 years (18.00% VS 31.67%, χ2 = 11.592, P < 0.001), systemic therapy (20.50% VS 10.00%, χ2 = 10.859, P < 0.001), gestational age at admission [37.72 (34.10, 38.71) VS 35.01 (31.91, 37.42) weeks, Z = -9.825, P < 0.001]. Meanwhile, the multivariate analysis showed that a history of preeclampsia (OR = 6.796, 95% CI: 3.575 ∼ 10.134, χ2 = 8.234, P < 0.001), duration of hypertension > 3 years (OR = 3.456, 95% CI: 2.157 ∼ 5.161, χ2 = 9.348, P < 0.001), and a lack of systemic antihypertensive treatment (OR = 8.983, 95% CI: 7.735 ∼ 9.933, χ2 = 9.123, P < 0.001) were risk factors for chronic hypertension complicated by preeclampsia during pregnancy. CONCLUSION: A history of preeclampsia, a longer duration of hypertension, and a lack of systematic antihypertensive treatment are risk factors for chronic hypertension complicated by preeclampsia during pregnancy. The occurrence of preeclampsia in pregnant women with chronic hypertension increases the incidence of maternal HELLP syndrome and fetal distress.

Monitoring homeostasis is an essential aspect of obtaining pathophysiological insights for treating patients. Accurate, timely assessments of homeostatic dysregulation in deep tissues typically require expensive imaging techniques or invasive biopsies. We introduce a bioresorbable shape-adaptive materials structure that enables real-time monitoring of deep-tissue homeostasis using conventional ultrasound instruments. Collections of small bioresorbable metal disks distributed within thin, pH-responsive hydrogels, deployed by surgical implantation or syringe injection, allow ultrasound-based measurements of spatiotemporal changes in pH for early assessments of anastomotic leaks after gastrointestinal surgeries, and their bioresorption after a recovery period eliminates the need for surgical extraction. Demonstrations in small and large animal models illustrate capabilities in monitoring leakage from the small intestine, the stomach, and the pancreas.

Innovative functional electrical stimulation has demonstrated effectiveness in enhancing daily walking and rehabilitating stroke patients with foot drop. However, its lack of precision in stimulating timing, individual adaptivity, and bilateral symmetry, resulted in diminished clinical efficacy. Therefore, a closed-loop wearable device network of intrinsically controlled functional electrical stimulation (CI-FES) system is proposed, which utilizes the personal surface myoelectricity, derived from the intrinsic neuro signal, as the switch to activate/deactivate the stimulation on the affected side. Simultaneously, it decodes the myoelectricity signal of the patient's healthy side to adjust the stimulation intensity, forming an intrinsically controlled loop with the inertial measurement units. With CI-FES assistance, patients' walking ability significantly improved, evidenced by the shift in ankle joint angle mean and variance from 105.53° and 28.84 to 102.81° and 17.71, and the oxyhemoglobin concentration tested by the functional near-infrared spectroscopy. In long-term CI-FES-assisted clinical testing, the discriminability in machine learning classification between patients and healthy individuals gradually decreased from 100% to 92.5%, suggesting a remarkable recovery tendency, further substantiated by performance on the functional movement scales. The developed CI-FES system is crucial for contralateral-hemiplegic stroke recovery, paving the way for future closed-loop stimulation systems in stroke rehabilitation is anticipated.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic joint disease characterized by progressive degeneration of articular cartilage. A challenge in the development of disease-modifying drugs is effective delivery to chondrocytes. The unique structure of the joint promotes rapid clearance of drugs through synovial fluid, and the dense and avascular cartilage extracellular matrix (ECM) limits drug penetration. Here, we show that poly(lactide-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles coated in chondrocyte membranes (CM-NPs) were preferentially taken up by rat chondrocytes ex vivo compared with uncoated nanoparticles. Internalization of the CM-NPs was mediated primarily by E-cadherin, clathrin-mediated endocytosis, and micropinocytosis. These CM-NPs adhered to the cartilage ECM in rat knee joints in vivo and penetrated deeply into the cartilage matrix with a residence time of more than 34 days. Simulated synovial fluid clearance studies showed that CM-NPs loaded with a Wnt pathway inhibitor, adavivint (CM-NPs-Ada), delayed the catabolic metabolism of rat and human chondrocytes and cartilage explants under inflammatory conditions. In a surgical model of rat OA, drug-loaded CM-NPs effectively restored gait, attenuated periarticular bone remodeling, and provided chondroprotection against cartilage degeneration. OA progression was also mitigated by CM-NPs-Ada in a canine model of anterior cruciate ligament transection. These results demonstrate the feasibility of using chondrocyte membrane-coated nanoparticles to improve the pharmacokinetics and efficacy of anti-OA drugs.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate the role of the oral and gut microbiome related to systemic metabolism and clinical parameters in various types of kidney stone disease. PATIENTS AND METHODS: We conducted a case-control study by analyzing 16S rRNA and untargeted metabolomics profiling of 76 fecal, 68 saliva, 73 urine, and 43 serum samples from 76 participants aged 18-75 years old. The participants included 15 patients with uric acid stones, 41 patients with calcium oxalate stones, and 20 healthy controls. Correlations among microbiome, metabolism, and clinical parameters were identified through Spearman's correlation analysis. (Clinical trial No. ChiCTR2200055316). RESULTS: Patients with uric acid stones exhibited reduced richness and diversity in their microbiome, as well as altered composition in both oral and gut microbiome. Furthermore, their fecal samples showed lower relative abundances of Bacteroides and Lachnospiraceae, while their saliva samples showed higher relative abundances of Porphyromonas and Neisseria. Predicted KEGG metabolism pathways, including amino acid and fatty acid metabolisms, were significantly altered in subjects with uric acid stones. Oral, gut microbiota, and metabolism were also associated with low water intake and urine pH. The area under the curve (AUC) of the specific microbiota and metabolite prediction models was over 0.85. CONCLUSION: The structure and composition of the oral and gut microbiome in different types of kidney stone disease, the correlations between oral and gut microbiome, and the associations among oral and gut microbiota, systemic metabolism and clinical parameters imply an important role that the oral and gut microbiome may play in kidney stone disease.

RESUMEN

The monitoring of space debris assumes paramount significance to ensure the sustainability and security of space activities as well as underground bases in outer space. However, designing a wide range monitoring system with easy fabrication, low power, and high precision remains an urgent challenge under the scarcity of materials and extreme environment conditions of outer space. Here, we designed a one-piece, robust, but flexible, and repairable 3D metal-printed triboelectric nanogenerator (FR-TENG) by incorporating the advantages of standardization and customization of outer space 3D metal printing. Inspired by the structure of hexagonal and pangolin scales, a curved structure is ingeniously applied in the design of 3D printed metal to adapt different curved surfaces while maintaining superior compressive strength, providing excellent flexibility and shape adaptability. Benefiting from the unique structural design, the FR-TENG has a minimum length of 1 cm with a weight of only 3.5 g and the minimum weight resolution detected of 9.6 g, with a response time of 20 ms. Furthermore, a multichannel self-powered collision monitoring system has been developed to monitor minor collisions, providing warnings to determine potential impacts on the space station and bases surfaces. The system may contribute to ensuring the successful completion of space missions and providing a safer space environment for the exploration of extraterrestrial life and the establishment of underground protective bases.

PURPOSE: To verify that lateral trochlear inclination (LTI) measured by the transepicondylar axis can reliably be used to evaluate trochlear dysplasia (TD) on MRI and can serve as an objective indication of trochleoplasty for patients with lateral patellar dislocation (LPD). METHODS: Eighty patients with recurrent LPD and eighty healthy subjects were included. TD, posterior condylar angle (PCA), and LTI measured by the posterior condylar reference line (LTIp), surgical transepicondylar axis (LTIs), and anatomical transepicondylar axis (LTIa) were assessed on MRI. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman analysis were performed, the correlations and differences amongst the parameters were identified, and a binary logistic regression model was established. RESULTS: Each measurement had excellent inter- and intra-observer agreement. The LTIp, LTIs and LTIa were smaller in the study group than in the control group, with mean differences of 9.0°, 7.2° and 7.0°, respectively (P < 0.001). The PCA was larger in patients with LPD than in the control group (P < 0.001). LTIp was associated with PCA in the study group (r = - 0.41, P < 0.001). The pathological values of LTIp, LTIs and LTIa were 11.7°, 15.3° and 17.4°, respectively. LTIs and LTIa were independent risk factors for LPD, with ORs of 7.33 (95% CI [1.06-52.90], P = 0.048) and 10.29 (95% CI [1.38-76.96], P = 0.023), respectively. CONCLUSION: The LTI can be reliably measured by MRI, but LTIp could potentially decrease the recorded value from the actual inclination angle. LTIs and LTIa are more appropriate to serve as trochleoplasty indications for patients with LPD, which could help orthopedists with surgical decision-making. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level III.

Real-time monitoring of flow turbulence is very difficult but extremely important in fluid dynamics, which plays an important role in flight safety and control. Turbulence can cause airflow to detach at the end of the wings, potentially resulting in the aerodynamic stall of aircraft and causing flight accidents. Here, we developed a lightweight and conformable system on the wing surface of aircraft for stall sensing. Quantitative data about airflow turbulence and the degree of boundary layer separation are provided in situ using conjunct signals provided by both triboelectric and piezoelectric effects. Thus, the system can visualize and directly measure the airflow detaching process on the airfoil, and senses the degree of airflow separation during and after a stall for large aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles.

As extremely important physiological indicators, respiratory signals can often reflect or predict the depth and urgency of various diseases. However, designing a wearable respiratory monitoring system with convenience, excellent durability, and high precision is still an urgent challenge. Here, we designed an easy-fabricate, lightweight, and badge reel-like retractable self-powered sensor (RSPS) with high precision, sensitivity, and durability for continuous detection of important indicators such as respiratory rate, apnea, and respiratory ventilation. By using three groups of interdigital electrode structures with phase differences, combined with flexible printed circuit boards (FPCBs) processing technology, a miniature rotating thin-film triboelectric nanogenerator (RTF-TENG) was developed. Based on discrete sensing technology, the RSPS has a sensing resolution of 0.13 mm, sensitivity of 7 P·mm-1, and durability more than 1 million stretching cycles, with low hysteresis and excellent anti-environmental interference ability. Additionally, to demonstrate its wearability, real-time, and convenience of respiratory monitoring, a multifunctional wearable respiratory monitoring system (MWRMS) was designed. The MWRMS demonstrated in this study is expected to provide a new and practical strategy and technology for daily human respiratory monitoring and clinical diagnosis. PURPOSE: To evaluate the management of antithrombotic drugs made by different urologists before ureteroscopic lithotripsy and flexible ureteroscopy in stone patients undergoing active anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy. METHODS: A survey was distributed to 613 urologists in China, which included personal work information and views on the management of anticoagulants (AC) or antiplatelet (AP) drugs during the perioperative period of ureteroscopic lithotripsy (URL) and flexible ureteroscopy (fURS). RESULTS: 20.5% of urologists believed that AP drugs could be continued and 14.7% believed that AC drugs could be continued. 26.1% of the urologists who participated in more than 100 ureteroscopic lithotripsy or flexible ureteroscopy surgeries each year believed that AP drugs could be continued and 19.1% believed that AC drugs could be continued, compared with 13.6% (P < 0.01) and 9.2% (P < 0.01) of the urologists who performed less than 100 surgeries. Among the urologists with more than 20 cases undergoing active AC or AP therapy per year, 25.9% thought that AP drugs could be continued and 19.7% thought that AC drugs could be continued, compared with 17.1% (P = 0.008) and 11.5% (P = 0.005) of the urologists with less than 20 cases. CONCLUSION: The decision on the continuation of AC or AP drugs before ureteroscopic and flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy should be individualized. The experience in URL and fURS surgeries and in dealing with patients under AC or AP therapy is the influencing factor.

Tubulointerstitial fibrosis (TIF) is essential during the development of end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) and is associated with the impairment of fatty acid oxidation (FAO). Kruppel-like factor 14 (KLF14) is an important gene in lipid metabolism, but its role in TIF remains unknown. TGF-ß-stimulated HK-2 cells and mouse unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) were used as renal fibrosis models. The role of KLF14 in the process of renal fibrosis was verified by gene knockout mice, genetic or pharmacological interference in animal model and cell model respectively. In the current study, we found that KLF14 expression increased after activation of the TGF-ß signaling pathway during TIF. In KLF14-/- mice, more severe fibrosis was observed after unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) was induced. In human HK2 cells, knockdown of KLF14 led to more severe fibrosis induced by TGF-ß1, while overexpression of KLF14 partially attenuated this process. Specifically, KLF14 deficiency decreased mitochondrial FAO activity, resulting in lipid accumulation. Thus, the energy supply to the cells was insufficient, finally resulting in TIF. We further proved that KLF14 could target peroxisome proliferator activated receptor alpha (PPARα) as a transcriptional activator. This study identified the upregulation of KLF14 expression in response to kidney stress during the process of fibrosis. Upon TIF, the activated TGF-ß signaling pathway can enhance KLF14 expression, while the upregulation of KLF14 expression can decrease the degree of TIF by improving FAO activity in tubular epithelial cells and recovering the energy supply mediated by PPARα.

Recently, Coiled-coil serine-rich protein 1 (CCSER1) gene is reported to be related to economic traits in livestock, and become a hotspot. In our study, we detected CCSER1 gene CNV in 693 goats from six breeds (GZB, GZW, AN, BH, HG, TH) by quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and the association analysis between the types of CNV and growth traits. Then, CCSER1 gene expression pattern was discovered in seven tissues from NB goats. Our results showed that the CCSER1 gene copy numbers were distributed differently in the aforementioned six breeds. The type of CCSER1 gene CNV was significantly associated with body weight and heart girth traits in GZW goat, in which individuals with deletion type were dominant in body weight trait (P < 0.05), while the normal type individuals were more advantageous in heart girth trait (P < 0.01); and there was a significant association with heart girth in TH goat (P < 0.05), which normal type was the dominant one. The expression profile revealed that CCSER1 gene has the highest level in the lung, followed by the small intestine and heart. In conclusion, our result is dedicated to an in-depth study of the novel CCSER1 gene CNV site and to provide essential information for Chinese goats molecular selective breeding in the future.

PURPOSE: To compare the values and the relationship of tibial tubercle lateralization measurements between computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). METHODS: Sixty patients with patellar dislocation who underwent both CT and MRI of the same knee joint from November 2021 to February 2022 were included in our study. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman analysis were performed to evaluate the reliability of tibial tubercle-trochlear groove (TT-TG), tibial tubercle-Roman arch (TT-RA), and tibial tubercle-posterior cruciate ligament (TT-PCL) distance measurements. The values of CT and MRI measurements using the same bony landmarks were compared for the difference. Pearson correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were performed to assess the correlation between CT and MRI measurements. Finally, the estimated values obtained from the regression equation were compared with the actual values obtained from the radiological measurement to evaluate the accuracy of the equations. RESULTS: A total of 60 patients with patellar dislocation who underwent both CT and MRI of the same knee joint were included in this study. The included measurements showed excellent agreement with ICCs > 0.9. TT-TG distance measured on CT (19.5 ± 5.1 mm) had a mean of 7.1 mm higher than that on MRI (12.4 ± 4.7 mm) (P < 0.001). The mean value of TT-RA distance was 22.5 ± 3.7 mm on CT and 16.7 ± 4.9 mm on MRI (P < 0.001), showing a mean difference of 5.8 mm. The values of TT-TG distance measured by CT and MRI were significantly correlated (R = 0.5, P < 0.001). The values of TT-RA distance between these two modalities showed a better correlation than that of TT-TG distance (R = 0.6, P < 0.001). The interchange values of TT-TG distance and TT-RA distance between CT and MRI can be obtained using regression equations (TT-TG distance: y = 0.6x + 12.3; TT-RA distance: y = 0.5x + 14.4). CONCLUSION: The values of tibial tubercle lateralization measured by MRI may be underestimated compared with those measured by CT. Although the values measured on CT and MRI are not equivalent, the value in the other modality can be estimated. Therefore, an additional CT scan for tibial tubercle lateralization evaluation may not be necessary. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level II.

Background: Femoral torsion can be evaluated from different femoral segments. The pathological thresholds for femoral torsion of different segments and the influence of segmental femoral torsion on patellofemoral alignment remain unknown. Purpose: To compare femoral torsion between patients with recurrent patellar dislocation and healthy individuals, to determine the statistical physiological range and pathological thresholds of femoral torsion in different segments, and to investigate the influence of femoral torsion on patellofemoral malalignment. Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the records of patients with patellar dislocation who received surgical treatment in our department between 2019 and 2020. Healthy participants were recruited as the control group. The control patients were asymptomatic and had no history of lower extremity disorders. The differences in femoral torsion between the study and control groups were compared. The diagnostic capacity of femoral torsion in different segments and their correlation with patellar tilt were investigated. The mean value and 95% CI of femoral torsion in different segments were established using data from healthy volunteers. Results: A total of 60 patients with patellar dislocation and 100 healthy volunteers were included in this study. The total, mid, and distal femoral torsion values differed significantly between the study and control groups (P < .01). Total femoral torsion had the highest diagnostic value (area under the receiver operating curve = 0.733). Total torsion (r = 0.432; P < .001), mid torsion (r = 0.242; P = .002), and distal torsion (r = 0.324; P < .001) showed significant correlations with patellar tilt. The pathological thresholds of excessive femoral torsion of the total, proximal, mid, and distal femoral segments were 24.73°, 46.68°, -6.55°, and 14.92°, respectively. Conclusion: Patients with patellar dislocation had greater femoral torsion than healthy individuals in multiple femoral segments. Excessive mid, distal, and total torsion was associated with more significant patellar tilt.

RESUMEN

The triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) developed by Z. L. Wang's team to harvest random mechanical energy is a promising new energy source for distributed sensing systems in the new era of the internet of things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) for a smart world. TENG has many advantages that make it suitable for a wide range of applications, including energy harvesting, environmental protection, wearable electronics, robotics, and self-powered sensors. Sensing as an important part of TENG applications is gradually expanding, with the in-depth study of TENG sensing in its working principle, material selection, processing technology, system integration, surface treatment, and back-end algorithms by researchers. In industry and academia, fluid dynamics sensing for liquid and air is urgently needed but lacking. In particular, local fluid sensing is difficult and limited to traditional sensors. Fortunately, with advantages for ordinary TENGs and TENGs as fluid dynamics sensors, fluid dynamics sensing can be better realized. Therefore, the paper summarizes the up-to-date work on TENGs as fluid dynamics sensors, discusses the advantages of TENGs as fluid dynamics sensors in-depth, and, most importantly, aims to explore possible new key areas to help guide the future direction of TENG in fluid dynamics sensing by addressing the key challenges.

Background: The tibial tubercle (TT)-trochlear groove (TT-TG) distance has low reproducibility in patients with a dysplastic trochlea, whereas the clinical value of the TT-posterior cruciate ligament (TT-PCL) distance remains controversial. Purposes: To establish a method to assess the position of the TT on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans using the TT-Roman arch (TT-RA) distance, compare this method with the TT-TG and TT-PCL distance, and provide the pathological threshold value of the TT-RA distance in patients with patellar dislocation. Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: The TT-RA distance, TT-TG distance, and TT-PCL distance were measured on MRI scans in 70 patients with a history of patellar dislocation and 70 healthy individuals. Inter- and intraobserver reliability of each measurement parameter were evaluated. The discriminatory capacity and the interrelationship of the 3 measurement parameters were investigated using Pearson correlation and the receiver operating characteristic curve. The pathological threshold values of these measurements were calculated according to the data of healthy individuals. Finally, logistic regression analysis was performed using these values. Results: Patients with patellar dislocation had a greater TT-RA distance compared with healthy individuals (18.05 ± 4.16 vs 13.86 ± 2.90 mm; P < .001). The TT-RA distance had a stronger diagnostic capacity, with an area under the curve of 0.802 compared with 0.625 for TT-PCL distance. Excellent reproducibility was seen for TT-RA distance measurement at any degree of trochlear dysplasia (all intraclass correlation coefficients [ICCs] >0.90). The inter- and intraobserver ICCs of the TT-TG distance measurements were extremely low for Dejour type D dysplasia (ICC, 0.509 and 0.616, respectively). The pathological TT-RA distance threshold was calculated as 19.5 mm. Logistic regression showed that patients with a TT-RA distance >19.5 mm were 11.7 times more likely to sustain patellar dislocation than were those with TT-RA distance less than this value. Conclusion: The TT-RA distance was a more reliable parameter with which to evaluate TT position than was TT-TG distance in patients with trochlear dysplasia. The TT-PCL distance was the least reliable among the 3 parameters studied.

To effectively avoid the drawbacks of conventional metal-based electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials such as high density and susceptibility to corrosion, a multifunctional melamine foam (MF) consisting of MXene/polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) layers with ultralow percolation thresholds was designed through the electrostatic self-assembly and impregnation strategies. The prepared lightweight foams simultaneously show multifunctional properties including EMI shielding, infrared (IR) stealth, oxidation-resistance, and compression stability. Typically, this multifunctional foam exhibits an excellent EMI shielding efficiency (EMI SE) of 45.2 dB at X-band (8.2-12.4 GHz) with only 1.131 vol % MXene filler. Moreover, the temperature difference between the upper and lower surfaces of the foam can be maintained at 45 °C due to its unique three-dimensional (3D) porous structure and low infrared emissivity. The MF skeleton with MXene/PDMS (MFMXP) displays high hydrophobicity, which remains stable in EMI SE after 60 days of exposure to air. Additionally, it shows outstanding mechanical stability after 100 cycles of compression experiments. The lightweight stealth nanocomposite foams can operate stably in complex environments and show high potential for applications in high-tech fields such as wearable electronics, the military, and semiconductors, etc.
