Aims: To test the effect of Hsa-miR-183-3p on cell aging and disc degeneration in lumbar intervertebral disc. Methods: This study combined clinical research with basic cell experiment, analyzing clinical data from patients with lumbar disc degeneration and traumatic lumbar spine fracture, as well as the differences in baseline data. The degree of lumbar disc injury in patients of different ages was also compared. Differentially expressed miRNAs were predicted via GEO database, and qPCR confirmation was determined by collecting cartilage endplates from two groups. ACAN, Col2A1, p16, p21, and p53 were detected by immunofluorescence, Western blot and qPCR in human nucleus pulposus cells. Changes of cell senescence were detected. The binding of Hsa-miR-183-3p to ataxia-telangiectasia mutated protein was confirmed by dual luciferase reporter assay. Results: Degenerative discs showed elevated expression of hsa-miR-183-3p, which may be upregulated by TNF-α via NF-κB signaling pathway and target ataxia-telangiectasia mutated protein regulation. Conclusion: Degeneration of the intervertebral disc can be accelerated by TNF-α. Additionally, Hsa-miR-183-3p passed NF-κB signaling pathway is blocked via up-regulation of TNF-α to reduce inflammation via targeting ataxia-telangiectasia mutated protein. As a result, this negative feedback mechanism may assist in maintaining a low degenerative load and preserving chronic disc degeneration.

Unconventional superconductors often feature competing orders, small superfluid density, and nodal electronic pairing. While unusual superconductivity has been proposed in the kagome metals AV3Sb5, key spectroscopic evidence has remained elusive. Here we utilize pressure-tuned and ultra-low temperature muon spin spectroscopy to uncover the unconventional nature of superconductivity in RbV3Sb5 and KV3Sb5. At ambient pressure, we observed time-reversal symmetry breaking charge order below [Formula: see text] 110 K in RbV3Sb5 with an additional transition at [Formula: see text] 50 K. Remarkably, the superconducting state displays a nodal energy gap and a reduced superfluid density, which can be attributed to the competition with the charge order. Upon applying pressure, the charge-order transitions are suppressed, the superfluid density increases, and the superconducting state progressively evolves from nodal to nodeless. Once optimal superconductivity is achieved, we find a superconducting pairing state that is not only fully gapped, but also spontaneously breaks time-reversal symmetry. Our results point to unprecedented tunable nodal kagome superconductivity competing with time-reversal symmetry-breaking charge order and offer unique insights into the nature of the pairing state.

The electronic instabilities in CsV3Sb5 are believed to originate from the V 3d-electrons on the kagome plane, however the role of Sb 5p-electrons for 3-dimensional orders is largely unexplored. Here, using resonant tender X-ray scattering and high-pressure X-ray scattering, we report a rare realization of conjoined charge density waves (CDWs) in CsV3Sb5, where a 2 × 2 × 1 CDW in the kagome sublattice and a Sb 5p-electron assisted 2 × 2 × 2 CDW coexist. At ambient pressure, we discover a resonant enhancement on Sb L1-edge (2s→5p) at the 2 × 2 × 2 CDW wavevectors. The resonance, however, is absent at the 2 × 2 × 1 CDW wavevectors. Applying hydrostatic pressure, CDW transition temperatures are separated, where the 2 × 2 × 2 CDW emerges 4 K above the 2 × 2 × 1 CDW at 1 GPa. These observations demonstrate that symmetry-breaking phases in CsV3Sb5 go beyond the minimal framework of kagome electronic bands near van Hove filling.

Objective: To investigate the morphological characteristics of coracoid process in different stages of temporomandibular joint osteoarthrosis (TMJOA), and to provide theoretical data for clinical and anatomic study. Methods: A total of 290 patients who were diagnosed with TMJOA in the Department of Temporomandibular Joint, Kunming Medical University School and Hospital of Stomatology from January 2015 to February 2021 were collected, including 69 males and 221 females, with an average age of 35.1±13.7 years (16-69 years old), 64 cases of unilateral lesions (64 sides), and 226 cases of bilateral lesions (452 sides). According to the TMJOA X-ray staging standard put forward by Ma Xuchen in 2005, the affected joints were divided into stage I (227 sides), stage Ⅱ (38 sides), stage Ⅲ (164 sides) and stage Ⅳ (87 sides). Twenty-six patients without clinical and imaging manifestations of temporomandibular disorders in the Department of Radiology, Kunming Medical University School and Hospital of Stomatology from October 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the control group, including 8 males and 18 females. The average age was (34.3±13.9) years (17-60 years). The dicom data of each group were imported into SimplantPro11.04 software to measure the height of coracoid process, anteversion angle and the ratio of coracoid vertex to mandibular corner to condylar vertex to mandibular angle. R 3.6.1 was used to analyze the difference of the morphological characteristics of coracoid process between in the affected side of TMJOA and in the both sides of the control group, in the healthy side and the affected side of unilateral patients and in different stages of TMJOA. Results: The height of the coracoid process [(16.26±2.81 mm)], the ratio of the coracoid process vertex-mandibular angle point and the condyle vertex-mandibular angle point distance [0.96(0.92,1.01)] on the affected side of TMJOA were significantly higher than those in the control group [(15.31±3.03)mm;0.95(0.89、0.99)] (t=2.18, P=0.033; t=2.87, P=0.004). There was no significant difference between the ante-version angle and the control group (t=-1.37, P=0.176). The ratio of the distance between the apex of the coracoid process and the apex of the mandibular angle to the apex of the condyle and the angle of the mandible in the affected side of unilateral patients was significantly greater than that in the healthy side (t=-3.46, P=0.001). There was no significant difference in coracoid height, coracoid anteversion angle and the healthy side (t=-1.85, P=0.069; t=-0.06, P=0.955) in different periods. The intra-group analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the height of the coracoid process in different stages (F=0.37, P=0.774). There was no significant difference in the ante-version angle of the coracoid process: stage I, stage Ⅱ, and stage Ⅲ (P>0.008), but all were significantly smaller than stage Ⅳ (PⅠ-Ⅳ<0.001, PⅡ-Ⅳ=0.009, PⅢ-Ⅳ<0.001). The ratio of the distance between coracoid apex-mandibular angle and condyle apex-mandibular angle: there was no significant difference in stage I, stage Ⅱ, and stage Ⅲ (P>0.008), and stage I and stage Ⅲ were significantly smaller than stage Ⅳ (P<0.001). Conclusions: The coracoid height and the ratio of the coracoid apex-mandibular angle to the condyle apex-mandibular angle distance on the TMJOA side were significantly greater than those without temporomandibular joint disorders. The bone deposition was mainly concentrated in the upper and posterior part of the condyle. TMJOA had a certain correlation with the height of the coracoid process.

The clinical data of five cases of relapsed/refractory (R/R) Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute B-lymphocytic leukaemia (Ph+B-ALL) treated with Bcl-2 inhibitor venetoclax combined with tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) and dexamethasone-containing low-dose chemotherapy regimen at Zhengzhou University Cancer Hospital were analyzed, and the efficacy and safety were evaluated. Ponatinib was used in two of the five patients with T315I mutation, and flumatinib was used in other three patients. The results showed that, of the four minimal residual disease (MRD) positive patients, three achieved complete molecular remission (CMR) in the short term and one was ineffective. Another patient with morphological recurrence reached CR in one month. The overall response rate was 80%. Treatment related adverse reactions included mild skin pigmentation, gastrointestinal reactions, fatigue, and grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ bone marrow suppression.

OBJECTIVE: The rib approach is a new extrapedicular approach for vertebral augmentation in the thoracic spine. This article discusses the surgical essentials and therapeutic effect. METHODS: Computed tomography (CT) imagings were obtained from 100 subjects to stimulate a Φ 4-mm puncture needle via the rib approach to determine the anatomical parameters of the channel and the position of the needle inserted in the vertebral body. Application results for 26 patients with T5-10 lesions were observed, four patients were treated under general anesthesia and 22 were treated under local anesthesia. RESULTS: The channel diameter was 5.9-7.0mm. In T5-10, the puncture needle could reach the middle of the midsagittal line of vertebral bodies in the transverse plane and only reached the middle and upper parts of the vertebral body in the sagittal plane. One week after surgery, the visual analog scale (VAS) sores decreased to 2.4±0.8, the ODI decreased to 13.4±5.9, and the anterior and posterior vertebral body height ratios recovered to 82.2±13.7% and 86.3±13.2%, respectively (all, P<0.05). No intraspinal cement leakage or nerve injury was noted. CONCLUSIONS: Vertebral augmentation via the rib approach is suitable only for patients with T5-10 lesions located in the middle and upper parts of the vertebral body. The puncture needle should be inclined inward and downward. This method is characterized by simple execution and low risks of intraspinal cement leakage and nerve injury.

In this study, we investigate harnessing fibrocartilage stem cell (FCSC) capacities by regulating tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) signaling for cartilage repair in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA). Stem cell specifics for FCSCs were characterized in the presence of TNF-α. Etanercept as a TNF-α inhibitor and BAY 11-7082 as an Nf-κB inhibitor were used to study TNF-α regulation of FCSCs. Lineage tracing was performed in Gli1-CreERT+;Tmfl/fl mice when etanercept (1 mg/kg, every 3 d) or isometric vehicle was subcutaneously injected to trace specific changes in FCSCs. Surgically induced TMJOA Sprague-Dawley rats were generated with BAY 11-7082 (5 mg/kg, every 3 d) or vehicle subcutaneous injection to investigate the functional role of TNF-α/Nf-κB in TMJOA. Anterior disc displacement (ADD) rabbits were used to analyze the therapeutic effect of etanercept as a TMJOA intra-articular treatment with etanercept (0.02 mg in 100 µL, every 2 wk) or isometric vehicle. In vitro, TNF-α inhibited proliferation of FCSCs and increased FCSC apoptosis. TNF-α activation interfered with osteogenic and chondrogenic differentiation of FCSCs, while etanercept could partially recover FCSC specificity from TNF-α. FCSC lineage tracing in Gli1-CreERT+;Tmfl/fl mice showed that the chondrogenic capacity of Gli1+ cell lineage was markedly suppressed in osteoarthritis cartilage, the phenotype of which could be significantly rescued by etanercept. Specifically blocking the Nf-κB pathway could significantly weaken the regulatory effect of TNF-α on FCSC specificity in vitro and in TMJOA rats in vivo. Finally, intra-articular etanercept treatment efficiently rescued TMJ cartilage degeneration and growth retardation in ADD rabbits. Inhibition of TNF-α signaling reduced Nf-κB transcripts and recovered FCSC specificities. In vivo, etanercept treatment effectively rescued the osteoarthritis phenotype in TMJOA mice and ADD rabbits. These data suggest a novel therapeutic mechanism whereby TNF-α/Nf-κB inhibition promotes FCSC chondrogenic capacity for cartilage transformation in TMJOA.

Objective: Comparison of conventional chemotherapy and immunotargeted therapy efficacy in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute B cell leukemia (B-ALL) . Methods: The clinical data of 212 patients with R/R B-ALL in the Affiliaed Cancer Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2008 to July 2020 were analyzed retrospectively to compare the response rate and survival time difference between conventional chemotherapy and immunotargeted therapies (antiCD19 CAR-T and CD3CD19 bi-specific antibody blinatumomab) , and to explore the related factors affecting prognosis. Results: The CR rate of patients with R/R B-ALL treated with anti-CD19 CAR-T cells was 80.4% , patients treated with blinatumomab was 62.5% , and patients treated with chemotherapy was 38.6% . There was significant difference in the CR rate among the three therapies (P<0.001) . CAR-T cells 1-year OS rate was 41.5% , which was significantly higher than that of the chemotherapy group (10.3% ) (P<0.001) . The 1-year PFS rate of CAR-T cells (30.1% ) was also significantly higher than that of the chemotherapy group (9.7% ) (P<0.001) . The median OS of patients with bridging allo-HSCT after CR treatment by CAR-T cells was 18.5 months, which was higher than that of patients without allo-HSCT (8 months) (P=0.027) . The median PFS of patients with allo-HSCT was 17 months, which was higher than that of patients without allo-HSCT (4 months) (P=0.001) . The 1-year OS rate of patients treated with blinatumomab was 14.3% , which was higher than that of the chemotherapy group (10.3% ) (P=0.018) . The 1-year PFS rate (14.6% ) was also higher than that of the chemotherapy group (9.7% ) (P=0.046) . The median OS and median PFS of patients with bridging allo-HSCT were 13 and 11 months, respectively, which was higher than that of patients without allo-HSCT (9.5 and 6 months) . The cytokine release syndrome (CRS) incidence in patients with R/R B-ALL treated with anti-CAR-T cells was 89.8% . Grades 3-4, grade 2, and grade 1 CRS were experienced by 30.2% , 11.3% and 58.5% patients, respectively. Only three patients (37.5% ) with blinatumomab developed CRS, all of which were grade 1. Conclusion: The response rate and survival rate of patients with R/R B-ALL treated with CD19 CAR-T cells and blinatumomab were significantly better than those treated with conventional chemotherapy.

Abrupt cooling is observed at the end of interglacials in many paleoclimate records, but the mechanism responsible remains unclear. Using model simulations, we demonstrate that there exists a threshold in the level of astronomically induced insolation below which abrupt changes at the end of interglacials of the past 800,000 years occur. When decreasing insolation reaches the critical value, it triggers a strong, abrupt weakening of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation and a cooler mean climate state accompanied by high-amplitude variations lasting for several thousand years. The mechanism involves sea ice feedbacks in the Nordic and Labrador Seas. The ubiquity of this threshold suggests its fundamental role in terminating the warm climate conditions at the end of interglacials.

CsV_{3}Sb_{5} is a newly discovered Z_{2} topological kagome metal showing the coexistence of a charge-density-wave (CDW)-like order at T^{*}=94 K and superconductivity (SC) at T_{c}=2.5 K at ambient pressure. Here, we study the interplay between CDW and SC in CsV_{3}Sb_{5} via measurements of resistivity, dc and ac magnetic susceptibility under various pressures up to 6.6 GPa. We find that the CDW transition decreases with pressure and experience a subtle modification at P_{c1}≈0.6-0.9 GPa before it vanishes completely at P_{c2}≈2 GPa. Correspondingly, T_{c}(P) displays an unusual M-shaped double dome with two maxima around P_{c1} and P_{c2}, respectively, leading to a tripled enhancement of T_{c} to about 8 K at 2 GPa. The obtained temperature-pressure phase diagram resembles those of unconventional superconductors, illustrating an intimated competition between CDW-like order and SC. The competition is found to be particularly strong for the intermediate pressure range P_{c1}≤P≤P_{c2} as evidenced by the broad superconducting transition and reduced superconducting volume fraction. The modification of CDW order around P_{c1} has been discussed based on the band structure calculations. This work not only demonstrates the potential to raise T_{c} of the V-based kagome superconductors, but also offers more insights into the rich physics related to the electron correlations in this novel family of topological kagome metals.

D- red blood cells (RBCs), always in short supply, and Rh immune globulin (RhIG) are not needed for patient care if D+ RBCs can safely be transfused. According to a recent work group recommendation, patients with the RHD*weak D type 4.0 allele can be considered D+. We report an African American woman who presented for delivery at the end of the third trimester, at which time anti-U and a serologic weak D phenotype were recognized, requiring U-, D- RBC units. We obtained 3 U- RBC units, including 1 D- unit. Later, the RHD*weak D type 4.0 allele was determined by RHD genotyping, only 6 days before delivery. The patient had an uneventful vaginal delivery of a D+ baby. No transfusion was needed for mother or baby. In this case, a pregnant woman with the RHD*weak D type 4.0 allele can safely be managed as D+, relaxing the unnecessary D- restriction for the limited U- RBC supply. The procured U-, D- RBC unit was frozen with 14 days of shelf-life remaining. To conserve D- RBC units, not limited to U-, for patients with a definite need, we recommend molecular analysis of a serologic weak D phenotype before a transfusion becomes imminent. The best time to resolve a serologic weak D phenotype with RHD genotyping is early in a pregnancy. Purpose To evaluate the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound combined with plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in the diagnosis of breast cancer (BC). Methods 129 patients with BC and 50 patients with benign breast lesions were selected. They were scanned by color Doppler ultrasound on the breast. The relative expression of miR-21 and miR-27a in plasma was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. The clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound combined with plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in the diagnosis of BC was analyzed retrospectively. Results Two-dimensional ultrasound images of BC showed irregular shape, unclear boundary, burr-like edge, uneven internal echo, weakened rear echo, microcalcification, aspect ratio > 1 and axillary lymph node metastasis. The grade of blood flow signal was improved, mainly in grade II and above, which was statistically different from that of benign control group (P < 0.001). The relative expression of plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in breast cancer group was significantly higher than that in benign control group (P < 0.001). The relative expressions of plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in breast cancer group were significantly correlated with histological grade, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and postoperation. The relative expression levels of miR-21 and miR-27a in plasma of patients with low histological grade (grade III), high clinical stage (stage III, IV) and lymph node metastasis before operation were significantly higher than those in patients with high histological grade (grade I, II), low clinical stage (stage I, II) and no lymph node metastasis after operation (P < 0.01) (AU)

Objective: To explore pyrrolizidine alkaloid-induced hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (PA-HSOS) severity grading to predict the prognostic value for PA-HSOS patients treated with transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS). Methods: Clinical data of patients with PA-HSOS who were critically ill or had ineffective drug treatment and underwent TIPS treatment from December 2013 to September 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. PA-HSOS severity grading criteria in adult was quoted, revised and defined from the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT). The survival time, the rate of shunt dysfunction and the incidence of postoperative hepatic encephalopathy in different severity groups after TIPS were compared. Univariate Cox or Binomial Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the impact of each variable. Variables with P < 0.1 were regarded as statistically significant variables for the prognosis, and were introduced into Cox or Binomial Logistic regression hierarchical regression analysis as controlled covariates. PA-HSOS severity grading was analyzed as dummy variables. Results: A total of 102 patient data were collected, and the median follow-up time was 14.52 months. The difference in survival time of patients with different severity levels was statistically significant (P = 0.023). The mortality risk in moderate patients was 1.575 times higher than that of mild patients (95%CI: 0.216-11.457, P = 0.654). The mortality risk of severe and very severe patients was 7.424 times higher than that of mild patients (95% CI: 1.612-34.197, P = 0.010). There was no statistically significant difference in postoperative hepatic encephalopathy recurrence rate and shunt dysfunction rate (P > 0.05). Conclusion: PA-HSOS severity grading has prognostic value for PA-HSOS patients receiving TIPS treatment, and can be used as an important reference for guiding the timing of TIPS intervention.

AIMS: Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), is now the leading cause of death from infectious disease, thus rapid diagnostic and screening techniques for TB are urgently needed. METHODS AND RESULTS: Here, a detection of MTB using multiple cross displacement amplification coupling with nanoparticles-based lateral flow device (MCDA-LFD) was developed and validated, targeting the specific sdaA gene. The whole detection procedure, including rapid genomic DNA extraction (15 min), amplification (30 min) and result reporting (2 min), was completed within 50 min. No cross-reaction with non-mycobacteria and non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) strains was observed. The sensitivity of sdaA-MCDA-LFD, Xpert MTB/RIF assay and culture results was 81·6, 48·3 and 37·9%, respectively, in TB patients. Among positive culture samples, the sensitivity of sdaA-MCDA-LFD and Xpert MTB/RIF assay was 93·9% (31/33) and 81·8% (27/33), respectively. Among culture-negative samples, the sensitivity of sdaA-MCDA-LFD and Xpert MTB/RIF assay was 74·1% (40/54) and 27·8% (15/54), respectively. The specificity of sdaA-MCDA-LFD and Xpert MTB/RIF was 95·4% (62/65) and 100% (65/65) in clinical samples from non-TB patients. CONCLUSION: The sdaA-MCDA-LFD assay was a rapid, simple, specific and sensitive TB diagnostic test. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: The sdaA-MCDA-LFD assay holds promise for application as a useful point-of-care test to detect MTB, and will play an important role in controlling and preventing TB.

PURPOSE: To evaluate the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound combined with plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in the diagnosis of breast cancer (BC). METHODS: 129 patients with BC and 50 patients with benign breast lesions were selected. They were scanned by color Doppler ultrasound on the breast. The relative expression of miR-21 and miR-27a in plasma was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. The clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound combined with plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in the diagnosis of BC was analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS: Two-dimensional ultrasound images of BC showed irregular shape, unclear boundary, burr-like edge, uneven internal echo, weakened rear echo, microcalcification, aspect ratio > 1 and axillary lymph node metastasis. The grade of blood flow signal was improved, mainly in grade II and above, which was statistically different from that of benign control group (P < 0.001). The relative expression of plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in breast cancer group was significantly higher than that in benign control group (P < 0.001). The relative expressions of plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in breast cancer group were significantly correlated with histological grade, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and postoperation. The relative expression levels of miR-21 and miR-27a in plasma of patients with low histological grade (grade III), high clinical stage (stage III, IV) and lymph node metastasis before operation were significantly higher than those in patients with high histological grade (grade I, II), low clinical stage (stage I, II) and no lymph node metastasis after operation (P < 0.01). The sensitivity, accuracy and negative predictive value of ultrasound combined with plasma miR-21 and miR-27a in the diagnosis of BC were significantly higher than those of each single examination. CONCLUSIONS: Color Doppler ultrasound combined with plasma miR-21 and miR-27a can significantly improve the diagnostic efficiency of BC, which is beneficial to early diagnosis and early clinical intervention.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the clinical application value of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) PET/CT imaging combined with detection of serum tumor molecular markers (carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA 125) and human epididymis protein 4 (HE4)) in the diagnosis of recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Clinical data about 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging and serum CA125 and HE4 of 69 ovarian cancer patients after the first cytoreductive surgery and chemotherapy were retrospectively analyzed, and the clinical application value of 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging combined with detection of CA125 and HE4 in the diagnosis of recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer was evaluated. RESULTS: The 18F-FDG PET/CT images of recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer showed hypermetabolism. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, predictive positive value, and predictive negative value of 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging for the diagnosis of recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer were 90.74%, 86.67%, 89.86%, 96.08%, and 72.22%, respectively; those of CA125 for the diagnosis of them were 77.78%, 86.67%, 79.71%, 95.45% and 52.00%, respectively, and those of HE4 for the diagnosis of them were 70.37%, 93.33%, 76.84%, 97.44%, and 48.39% respectively. In addition, the sensitivity and specificity of 18F-FDG PET/CT combined with detection of serum CA125 and HE4 for the diagnosis were 100.00% and 100.00%, respectively, significantly higher than those of separate 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging, detection of serum CA125, and detection of serum HE4 (c2 = 5.243, 13.500, 18.783, p = 0.022, 0.000, 0.000; c2 = 4.000, 8.525, 9.864, p = 0.046, 0.004, 0.002), and the accuracy of the combination use of them was 95.65%, also significantly higher than that of separate CA125 and HE4 (c2 = 8.118, 10.315, p = 0.004, 0.001, both p < 0.01). Furthermore, the maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) of 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging for recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer focuses was significantly positively correlated with serum CA125 and HE4 levels (r = 0.596, p = 0.000; r = 0.431, p = 0.002), and the serum CA125 level was also significantly positively correlated with serum HE4 level in patients with recurrent or metastasized ovarian cancer (r = 0.198, p = 0.043,). CONCLUSIONS: 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging combined with detection of serum CA125 and HE4 can significantly improve the diagnostic efficiency to recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer and is conducive to the early diagnosis of the recurrence and metastasis, which provides a basis for further clinical intervention.
