RESUMEN

The psychological impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on college students is an important topic. With the entry of the post-epidemic era, how universities can better improve students' psychological resilience in teaching is the research topic of this article. In the form of a questionnaire survey, some entrepreneurial college students investigated the loneliness and psychological resilience of college students after the outbreak of the epidemic and explored the role of self-efficacy in it. The data is collected online through cooperation with an entrepreneurial event, and the participating students are asked for background information such as colleges, grade, and majors. After collecting this information, they answered a series of simplified scale questions about loneliness, self-efficacy, and psychological resilience. In the end, a total of 200 questionnaires from different universities were collected, and the structural equation model was used to explore the role of self-efficacy. The results show that: loneliness has a significant negative effect on Self-efficacy, ß = -0.292, p < 0.001; Self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on psychological resilience, ß = 0.556, p < 0.0 01; loneliness has a significant negative effect on psychological resilience, ß = -0.244, p < 0.01. Self-Efficacy has a significant intermediate effect in loneliness and psychological resilience, with an effective value of -0.111 and p < 0.01. The results show that this exploratory survey finds it important to provide targeted personal self-efficacy improvement activities for college students with a strong sense of loneliness and to combine school and family education organically to help college students form a healthy and upward mentality to better cope with the unknown and troubles caused by the epidemic, which will help improve the psychological resilience of college students in the epidemic.

RESUMEN

Based on the premise of sustainable development of the environment, how to achieve the balance of energy utilization, economic development, and sustainable management of the environment is becoming increasingly important in the process of stable economic development. This paper analyzes the concept of environmental Kuznets curve, taking 35 European countries as the research objects, first discusses the trend of energy utilization efficiency from 1990 to 2013, and then analyzes the relationship between energy efficiency and economic development. Empirical results show that labor has a significant negative impact on energy efficiency and the increase in labor input will reduce energy efficiency. If the added value of national manufacturing accounts for a higher percentage in GDP, it will have a negative impact on the effectiveness of energy utilization. In addition, when the national price level is high, price fluctuation will increase the price of energy utilization, or the cost of energy input in economic activities, which will further reduce the country's energy efficiency performance. Lastly, the empirical study also found that energy efficiency and economic development showed a quadratic U-shaped relationship, indicating that the long-term energy efficiency of the country will first decline and then rise during economic activities.

RESUMEN

With the rapid economic growth and a large number of industrial production activities in China in recent years, the public has paid more and more attention to the improvement of environmental quality. Issues such as control of pollution in water and air resources, solid waste and noise, as well as energy use and alternative energy development, have received increasing attention. How to effectively manage and utilize precious water resources is a major issue for China to achieve sustainable development. The present study tried to the concepts of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with slacks-based model (SBM) model under Constant Returns-to-Scale (CRS) technology (CRS-SBM-DEA) to find a solution, by estimating the total factor water usage efficiencies and sewage treatment efficiencies across Eastern, Central and Western areas in China. The results showed that, before 2007, the Eastern Area in China had the highest water usage efficiency, followed by the West Area and then the Central Area. After 2007, the Western area has gradually become the one with the highest water usage efficiency, followed by the East Area and then the Central Area. In addition, the empirical estimates also consider the impact of the social level. Through panel analysis, this paper finds that population pressure will significantly reduce the efficiency of water use in the region, and the government's actions can effectively boost the use and conservation of water resources.

RESUMEN

China has established the River Chief System (RCS) to develop mechanisms to achieve success in cross-regional negotiations of the Sustainable Water Resource Management Affairs (SWRMA). This paper aims to investigate the mechanisms developed by RCS and social welfare brought by RCS in China, and thereafter put forward suggestions for the future development of RCS. Therefore, a one-stage cooperation game was used to investigate cross-regional SWRMA negotiations with RCS. The results showed that RCS ensures that cooperative solutions are chosen in cross-regional SWRMA negotiations. Moreover, this paper used a two-stage game to explore cross-regional SWRMA negotiations without involving RCS. In this case, the involvement of the upper-level administrators and the probability of a successful negotiation are endogenously determined by local authorities. The results showed that in cross-regional SWRMA negotiations, both when the upper-level administrators are involved in the first stage and in the second stage, the cooperative solutions would be adopted. Thus, RCS is an inevitable outcome of the cross-regional SWRMA negotiations. In addition, RCS could help to avoid transactional costs and external costs in cross-regional SWRMA negotiations. Based on these results, this study provided the following suggestions: the river chief and local authorities of RCS should be stakeholders; the major members of RCS should be the local authorities influenced mostly by SWRMA quantities; RCS should actively advertise the benefits and the cost-down of SWRMA.
