RESUMEN

Objective To observe the influencing of Yiqi Huayu Jiedu Prescription on the growth of HepG2 nude mice transplantation tumor and the expression of related factors of vascular mimicry. Methods Models of transplanted tumors, which were made by HepG2 cells in nude mice, were randomly divided into 7 groups, Yiqi Huayu Jiedu Prescription group, Astragali Radix group, Curcumae Rhizoma group, Paridis Rhizoma group, Gecko group, cis-platinum group, and model group. Except for the model group, the rest groups were given relevant medicine for intervention. 21 days later. HIF-1α, MMP-2, MMP-9, and E-cad were detected by immunohistochemistry, and Twist1 and Bcl-2 were detected by fluorescence quantitative PCR. Results Compared with the model group, tumor volume in the rest groups decreased (P<0.05), and the effect in the Yiqi Huayu Jiedu Prescription group was more obvious than the Astragali Radix group, Paridis Rhizoma group and Gecko group (P<0.05);The expression of vasculogenic mimicry structure was rare in each group, and the model group and cis-platinum group were the most obvious;Except for the Astragali Radix group, the expressions of HIF-1α, MMP-2, and MMP-9 showed statistical significance compared with model group (P<0.05);The expression of E-cad in the Yiqi Huayu Jiedu Prescription group and Astragali Radix group showed statistical significance (P<0.05);The expression of Bcl-2 in the Yiqi Huayu Jiedu prescription group, Paridis Rhizoma group, and Gecko group decreased significantly compared with the model group (P<0.05);The expression of Bcl-2 in the Yiqi Huayu Jiedu prescription group was much better than the other groups (P<0.05);The expression of Twist1 showed statistical significance in the Yiqi Huayu Jiedu Prescription group, Curcumae Rhizoma group, Paridis Rhizoma group, and cis-platinum group (P<0.05). Conclusion Yiqi Huayu Jiedu Prescription can reduce expression of HIF-1α, Twist1, Bcl-2, MMP-2, and MMP-9, and increase expression of E-cad, thereby inhibiting the formation of vascular mimicry.

Currently ,EphB receptor has been demonstrated as an important factor on the biological be -havior of normal cells .Some studies found that it plays an important role in the regulation of normal cell morpholo -gy,cell adhesion ,migration and angiogenesis .There is a certain relationship between abnormal expression of EphB receptor with a variety of tumor development .Visiblely,EphB receptor is important research direction in cancer studies,understanding the relationship between EphB receptor and tumor can better realize the progress of the tumor,and further to provide more scientific basis for cancer treatment and prevention .

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the effects of total saponins of Panax ginseng combined with berberine on hemodynamics, Plasma brain natriuretic peptide and Ca2+ concentration in cardiac cells of chronic congestive heart failure rats.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>Animal models of heart failure were induced by subcutaneously injecting a large dose of ISO (80 mg x kg(-1)) for 12 days Rat and then were randomly divided into four groups: model group was given distilled water by gavage; total saponins of P. ginseng combined with berberine group was treated with total saponins of P. ginseng and berberine (each 20 mg x kg(-1); once per day) taken orally; captopril group was given captopril (45 mg x kg(-1); once per day) orally; shenmai injection group was injected intraperitoneally with shenmai injection (5 mL x kg(-1), once per day). The normal control group was given distilled water by gavage. After 4 weeks of drug treatment, rat To determine the contents of hemodynamics and plasma brain natriuretic peptide were determined and rat Ca2+ concentration in cardiomyocytes was measured by flow cytometer of each group.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Compared with normal control group, in model group can decrease the contents of LVSP, +dp/dtmax, and -dp/dtmax were decreased, but increase the contents of LVEDP, plasma brain natriuretic peptide and Ca2+ concentration were increased. The difference between two groups was significant meaning (P<0.01). Compared with model group, in total saponins of P. ginseng combined with berberine group can increase the contents of LVSP, +dp/dtmax, -dp/dtmax were increased, but were increased contents of LVEDP, plasma brain natriuretic peptide and Ca2+ concentration were decreased. The difference between two groups was significant was (P<0.01, P<0.05). Moreover, Total saponins of P. ginseng combined with berberine group had an efficacy similar to that of captopril group but superior to that of shenmai injection group.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Total saponins of P. ginseng combined with berberine has a good effect on hemodynamics, plasma brain natriuretic peptide concentration and calcium overload in experimental rats with chronic congestive heart failure.</p>

RESUMEN

A microemulsion electrokinetic chromatographic (MEEKC) method has been developed and validated for determination of resibufogenin and cinobufagin in toad venom and in traditional Chinese medicine prepared from the venom. The MEEKC method involved use of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as surfactant, heptane as organic solvent, and butan-1-ol as co-solvent. To improve the separation, the effect of temperature and running buffer pH were evaluated. The optimized conditions (heptane 0.81% (w/w), SDS 3.31% (w/w), butan-1-ol 6.61% (w/w), and 10 mmol L(-1) sodium tetraborate buffer, pH 9.2, and 298 nm as the detection wavelength) enabled useful and repeatable separation of the analytes.

RESUMEN

The present paper describes the development of a microemulsion electrokinetic chromatographic (MEEKC) method for simultaneous determination of andrographolide and dehydroandrographolide in traditional Chinese medicines and Chinese medicinal preparations. The MEEKC method involved the use of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as surfactant, heptane as organic solvent and butan-1-ol as co-solvent. The effect of temperature and pH of running buffers on separation were examined. The optimized conditions (heptane 0.81% (w/w), SDS 3.31% (w/w), butan-1-ol 6.61% (w/w) and 10mM sodium tetraborate buffer, pH 9.2) allowed a useful and good reproducible separation of the studied analytes to be achieved.

RESUMEN

Broad spectrum anthelmintic agent-albendazole sulfoxide (ABZSO) have been separated and semiprepared on amylose tris (3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) chiral stationary phases by HPLC using mobile phases contained with n-hexane and different alcohols. For analytical separation the influence of the nature and content of alcoholic modifiers on separation were systemically studied. Then, the analytical methods were scaled up to semipreparative loading to obtain small quantities (about 1 g) of both ABZSO enantiomers. Especially, different loading amounts were investigated for their effect on various parameters of semipreparative HPLC. In addition, optical rotation and circular dichroism (CD) of both ABZSO enantiomers collected were determined and single enantiomers were found stable in configuration for 1 year.

RESUMEN

Objective To compare the scale of the spinal bones removed by microendoscopic discectomy (MED) and interlaminal fenestration approach discectomy (IFAD),and their postoperative influence on the lumber degeneration in patients with lumber disc herniation.Methods Totally 76 cases of MED and 80 cases of IFAD were enrolled in this study.The scale of the spinal bones resected were compared by measuring the width and height of the bone window,as well as the percentages of the removed superior and inferior articular processes by using X-ray.To compare the efficacy of the two procedures,Nakai criteria was employed. The height and angle of intervertebral space and intervertebral displacement were detected preoperation,and then were followed up after the surgery.Results Both the width and height of the bone window and the percentages of the removed superior and inferior articular processes of the MED group was significantly less than those in the IFAD group (P=0.000);whereas,no marked difference was found in the scale of disc removal between the two group[(1.75?0.58) g vs (1.95?0.77)g,t=-1.825,P=0.070].The outcomes of the two group was similar,the rate of excellent and good outcomes of the MED and IFAD groups were 86.8% and 88.8%, respectively (Z=-0.184,P=0.854).In the MED group,the intervertebral space was reduced by 30%?18%,which were similar to that in the IFAD group 34%?15%(t=-1.246,P=0.215);3 cases of the MED group and 5 of the IFAD group had intervertebral instability after the surgery (x~2=0.425,P=0.515).Conclusions Both MED and IFAD are effective for lumbar disc herniation.However,MED shoud be the first choice for the disease,because the procedure causes less trauma.

Objective: To study the e ects of Heying Anxin Fang on cardiac function and intracellular Ca2+ concentration in cadiocyte of chronic congestive heart failure rats. Methods: Animal models of heart failure were induced by subcutaneous injection of a large dose of ISO, and were randomly divided into model group, Shenmai injection group, captopril group, high, middle and low dosages of Heyinganxin Fang group and normal group with 9 in each group. To determine the indexes of LVSP, LVEDP, +dp/dtmax ,-dp/dtmax and heart weight, and determine Ca2+ concentration in cardiomyocytes by ow cytometer. RESUMEN

Objective:To determine the content of ginsenoside R g1 ,R e and Paeoniflorin by HPLC in Shenshao tablet.Methods: HPLC Symmetry C 18 column was used and CH 3CN H 3PO 4 (11∶89) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.8mL/min, the column temperature at 30 ?C and the detective wavelength 203nm and 230nm. Results:The content of ginsenoside R g1 ,R e, and paeoniflorin can be determined by HPLC. The linear concentration ranges of these compound were 0.960?g~4.800?g, 0.912?g~4.560?g,1.050?g~ 5.250 ?g. The average recoveries were 105.2%, 98.5% and 103.5%, respectively.Conclusion: This method is simple and accurate and can be used to determine the content of Shenshao Tablet.
