RESUMEN

With the fast development of large-scale Photovoltaic (PV) plants, the automatic PV fault identification and positioning have become an important task for the PV intelligent systems, aiming to guarantee the safety, reliability, and productivity of large-scale PV plants. In this paper, we propose a residual learning-based robotic (UAV) image analysis model for low-voltage distributed PV fault identification and positioning. In our target scenario, the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are deployed to acquire moving images of low-voltage distributed PV power plants. To get desired robustness and accuracy of PV image detection, we integrate residual learning with attention mechanism into the UAV image analysis model based on you only look once v4 (YOLOv4) network. Then, we design the sophisticated multi-scale spatial pyramid fusion and use it to optimize the YOLOv4 network for the nuanced task of fault localization within PV arrays, where the Complete-IOU loss is incorporated in the predictive modeling phase, significantly enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of fault detection. A series of experimental comparisons in terms of the accuracy of fault positioning are conducted, and the experimental results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model in dealing with the safety and reliability maintenance of low-voltage distributed PV systems.

ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Radix Chimonanthi Pracecocis(RCP), also known as Tiekuaizi, widely used by the Miao community in Guizhou, exhibits diverse biological activities and holds promise for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA). However, there is a lack of contemporary pharmacological research in this area. AIMS OF THE STUDY: This study aims to explore the potential of targets and mechanisms of RCP in the treatment of OA. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The chemical components of RCP were identified using UPLC-MS/MS, and active components were determined based on the Lipinski rule. RCP and OA-related targets were retrieved from public databases such as TCMSP and GeneCards. Network pharmacology approaches were employed to identify key genes. The limma package (version 3.40.2) in R 4.3.2 was used to screen for differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between OA and healthy individuals in GSE82107. DEGs were analyzed using an independent sample t-test and receiver operating characteristic analysis in GraphPad Prism 9.5.1. Additionally, molecular docking (SYBYL2.1.1) was used to analyze the binding interactions between the active components and target proteins. Finally, we established a papain-induced osteoarthritis (OA) rat model and treated it with RCP aqueous extract by gavage. We validated relevant indicators using real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction, western blot, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. RESULTS: Seven active components and 53 targets were identified. The results of GO and KEGG enrichment analyses confirmed the significant role of RCP in the regulation of pyroptosis. Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) was identified as a key gene involved in the main biological functions. Molecular docking analysis revealed that Praecoxin, Isofraxidin, Esculin, and Naringenin can bind to the nucleotide-binding domain, leucine-rich repeat, and pyrin domain-containing protein 3 (NLRP3) (T-Score > 5). Additionally, Praecoxin can bind to HIF-1α (T-Score > 5). In vivo experiments demonstrated that RCP significantly affects the NLRP3 inflammasome, which is regulated by the HIF-1α pathway. RCP inhibited pyroptosis and reduced synovial inflammation. CONCLUSIONS: This study confirmed the efficacy of RCP aqueous extract in the treatment of OA and identified seven active components (esculin, dihydrokaempferol, naringenin, praecoxin, carnosol, hydroxyvalerenic acid, isofraxidin) that may play an anti-pyroptosis role in the treatment of OA by downregulating the expression of HIF-1α and NLRP3 inflammasome.

There is an increasingly growing demand to balance tissue repair guidance and opportunistic infection (OI) inhibition in clinical implant surgery. Herein, we developed a nanoadjuvant for all-stage tissue repair guidance and biofilm-responsive OI eradication via in situ incorporating Cobaltiprotoporphyrin (CoPP) into Prussian blue (PB) to prepare PB-CoPP nanozymes (PCZs). Released CoPP possesses a pro-efferocytosis effect for eliminating apoptotic and progressing necrotic cells in tissue trauma, thus preventing secondary inflammation. Once OIs occur, PCZs with switchable nanocatalytic capacity can achieve bidirectional pyroptosis regulation. Once reaching the acidic biofilm microenvironment, PCZs possess peroxidase (POD)-like activity that can generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) to eradicate bacterial biofilms, especially when synergized with the photothermal effect. Furthermore, generated ROS can promote macrophage pyroptosis to secrete inflammatory cytokines and antimicrobial proteins for biofilm eradication in vivo. After eradicating the biofilm, PCZs possess catalase (CAT)-like activity in a neutral environment, which can scavenge ROS and inhibit macrophage pyroptosis, thereby improving the inflammatory microenvironment. Briefly, PCZs as nanoadjuvants feature the capability of all-stage tissue repair guidance and biofilm-responsive OI inhibition that can be routinely performed in all implant surgeries, providing a wide range of application prospects and commercial translational value.

OBJECTIVE: To identify and categorize home- and community-based services used by older adults and the distribution of their utilization, and to examine their utilization patterns in terms of region, time trends, and older adults' characteristics. DESIGN: Systematic review and meta-analysis. METHODS: We conducted a systematic search of six databases for studies published up to January 12, 2023, and performed meta-analyses and subgroup analyses to identify the utilization of home- and community-based services and analyze utilization patterns concerning region, time trends, and individual characteristics. RESULTS: We included 42 studies from 10 countries worldwide, involving a total of 2,942,069 older adults. Home- and community-based services were grouped into three categories: health services, social services, and family caregiver services. Regional differences were consistently evident across all three categories of services, reflecting diverse patterns of home- and community-based service adoption worldwide. Notably, there was a significant increase in the utilization of social services, as distinct from health services and family caregiver services, during the post-2010 period (2010-2018) in comparison with the pre-2010 period (before 2010). In addition, age and cognitive function also played an important role in the utilization of home- and community-based services. CONCLUSION: These findings highlight the importance of tailoring home- and community-based services to specific populations and understanding the needs of older adults over time. Further research should be undertaken to gain a deeper understanding of the reasons behind these variations and differences and to provide more targeted and effective services to older adults worldwide.

Cancer immunotherapy has rapidly transformed cancer treatment, yet resistance remains a significant hurdle, limiting its efficacy in many patients. Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a novel class of non-coding RNAs, have emerged as pivotal regulators of gene expression and cellular processes. Increasing evidence indicates their involvement in modulating resistance to cancer immunotherapy. Notably, certain circRNAs function as miRNA sponges or interact with proteins, influencing the expression of immune-related genes, including crucial immune checkpoint molecules. This, in turn, shapes the tumor microenvironment and significantly impacts the response to immunotherapy. In this comprehensive review, we explore the evolving role of circRNAs in orchestrating resistance to cancer immunotherapy, with a specific focus on their mechanisms in influencing immune checkpoint gene expression. Additionally, we underscore the potential of circRNAs as promising therapeutic targets to augment the effectiveness of cancer immunotherapy. Understanding the role of circRNAs in cancer immunotherapy resistance could contribute to the development of new therapeutic strategies to overcome resistance and improve patient outcomes.

Owing to the fact that the contentious data in the above article were already under consideration for publication prior to its submission to Molecular Medicine Reports, the Editor has decided that this paper should be retracted from the Journal. ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) results in reduced fertility. Kuntai capsule, a Chinese patent medicine, which can nourish the heart and kidneys, has shown promising efficacy in its treatment. However, there is no enough clinical evidence to confirm the efficacy and safety of Kuntai capsule. AIM OF THE STUDY: This review aims to evaluate Kuntai capsule's potential benefits and detriments for diminished ovarian reserve. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Databases namely China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WANFANG Database, Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase were searched from their inception to July 2023. We included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing Kuntai capsule to hormone therapy (HT) and Kuntai capsule in combination with HT to HT alone for DOR treatment. The risk of bias was evaluated using RoB 1.0. A Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 software. The primary outcomes were antral follicle count (AFC) and serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), secondary outcomes were follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and adverse reactions. RESULTS: A Meta-analysis of 12 randomized controlled trials (RCTs), encompassing a total of 905 DOR patients was conducted. The results indicated that the combination of Kuntai capsule with HT exhibited superior efficacy in enhancing AFC (MD = 1.34, 95% CI [0.96,1.72]) and AMH levels (MD = 1.09 (ng/mL) 95% CI[0.80,1.38]), Kuntai capsule demonstrated improvements in AFC (MD = 0.65, 95% CI [0.48,0.83]) in DOR patients compared to HT alone. CONCLUSIONS: Based on the available results, the combination of Kuntai capsule with HT appears to improve the AFC, AMH and FSH levels of DOR patients. Kuntai capsule alone appears to improve the AFC and FSH levels of DOR patients. However, included trials had methodological quality issues, further standardized research is required.

Animal experiments are important in trauma-related studies because they simulate in vivo effects. Rodents are a good choice for preparing trauma models; however, contractile healing in rodents results in a healing pattern that differs considerably from that in humans. Therefore, this study developed a new rodent model that avoids contractile healing of the skin around the wound using an anti-contraction ring, and the skin in the wound's center remains intact and acts as a source for epithelialized diffusion healing. Cell proliferation, migration, revascularization, and collagen secretion did not differ between the novel and conventional full-skin defect trauma models. However, the healing rate at various stages significantly differed between the two groups owing to differences in the healing patterns. And without effective treatment, the experimental group cannot heal. The stabilities of the novel and conventional methods were good regardless of operator or batch. In summary, this new animal trauma model provides a stable experimental environment similar to that in humans, which may promote trauma-related research.

Irrigation and fertilization are indispensable links in the jujube planting industry in southern Xinjiang, China. Regulating the relationship between fertilization and irrigation can effectively reduce costs and improve economic efficiency. A 2-year water and fertilizer optimization coupling test was conducted to determine the optimal water and nutrient supply scheme. The three-factor randomized block experiment included water (W), nitrogen (N), and phosphorus (P). According to the principal component analysis of each index, each treatment's comprehensive score was obtained. Using yield and economic regression models, the theoretical value and yield value of the optimal economic benefit are inferred. When W, N, and P were applied together, the fruit quality and yield of each treatment significantly differed, and the vitamin C, soluble sugar, and sugar-acid ratio increased significantly with an increase in N fertilizer. However, the titratable acid decreased. An increase in irrigation and nitrogen application significantly increased fruit yield. The comprehensive score was the highest in the N4P3W2 treatment, which improved fruit quality, and the lowest in the N3P3W2 treatment. When the amounts of N, P, and W were 275.56 kg hm-2, 413. 66 kg hm-2, and 7278.19 m3 hm-2, respectively, the theoretical economic benefit was the best. The N4P3W2 treatment is the optimal treatment.

Cancer therapeutic resistance remains a significant challenge in the pursuit of effective treatment strategies. Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a class of non-coding RNAs, have recently emerged as key regulators of various biological processes, including cancer progression and drug resistance. This review highlights the emerging role of circRNAs-mediated autophagy in cancer therapeutic resistance, a cellular process that plays a dual role in cancer by promoting both cell survival and death. Increasing evidence suggests that circRNAs can modulate autophagy pathways, thereby influencing the response of cancer cells to therapeutic agents. In this context, the intricate interplay between circRNAs, autophagy, and therapeutic resistance is explored. Various mechanisms are discussed through which circRNAs can impact autophagy, including direct interactions with autophagy-related genes, modulation of signaling pathways, and cross-talk with other non-coding RNAs. Furthermore, the review delves into specific examples of how circRNA-mediated autophagy regulation can contribute to resistance against chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Understanding these intricate molecular interactions provides valuable insights into potential strategies for overcoming therapeutic resistance in cancer. Exploiting circRNAs as therapeutic targets or utilizing them as diagnostic and predictive biomarkers opens new avenues for developing personalized treatment approaches. In summary, this review underscores the importance of circRNA-mediated autophagy in cancer therapeutic resistance and proposes future directions for research in this exciting and rapidly evolving field.

Background: Nodal T-follicular helper cell lymphomas (nTFHLs) represent a new family of peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs), and comparative studies of their constituents are rare. Methods: This study retrospectively enrolled 10 patients with nTFHL-F and 30 patients with nTFHL-NOS diagnosed between December 2017 and October 2023 at six large comprehensive tertiary hospitals; 188 patients with nTFHL-AI were diagnosed during the same period at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University for comparison. Results: Compared with nTFHL-AI, nTFHL-NOS patients exhibited better clinical manifestations, lower TFH expression levels, and a lower Ki-67 index. However, no differences in clinicopathological features were observed between nTFHL-F and nTFHL-AI patients as well as nTFHL-NOS patients. According to the survival analysis, the median OS for patients with nTFHL-NOS, nTFHL-AI, and nTFHL-F were 14.2 months, 10 months, and 5 months, respectively, whereas the median TTP were 14 months, 5 months, and 3 months, respectively. Statistical analysis revealed differences in TTP among the three subtypes(P=0.0173). Among the population of patients receiving CHOP-like induction therapy, there were significant differences in the OS and TTP among the nTFHL-NOS, nTFHL-AI, and nTFHL-F patients (P=0.0134, P=0.0205). Both the GDPT and C-PET regimens significantly improved the ORR, OS, and PFS in nTFHL patients. Conclusion: There are significant differences in the clinical manifestations, pathology, and survival outcomes among the three subtypes of nTFHLs. However, further research with a larger sample size, and involving clinical pathology and molecular genetics is needed to determine the distinctive biological characteristics of these tumors.

Sludge incineration is the main strategy for sludge reduction in China. The combined conditioning of lime and chemical agents has been proven to achieve sludge dewatering by disrupting the extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) of sludge and reducing its compressibility. However, when incineration is the intended disposal purpose, this method poses challenges such as incomplete combustion, equipment corrosion, secondary pollution, and decreased calorific value of sludge cake. In contrast, freeze-thaw conditioning, coupled with sawdust as a high-calorific-value bio-waste, emerges as an efficient and clean alternative. The research investigates the synergistic effects of freeze-thaw and sawdust co-conditioning on various sludge properties, including dewaterability, compressibility, consolidation, permeability, microscopicity, and calorific value. The study reveals that the combined conditioning significantly reduces water content and compressibility while increasing void ratio, consolidation, permeability, and enhancing the calorific value of the sludge cake. Specifically, sludge cake conditioned with 60% dried solids (DS) sawdust and freeze-thaw achieved a water content (Wc) of 49.07% and a calorific value of 1422.3 kcal/kg, meeting standards for self-sustained incineration. With heat recovery, the combined conditioning generates an economic revenue of 25.1 $/t DS after deducting costs, thereby reducing the overall cost of sludge reduction treatment. This research offers a clean and practical solution for sludge incineration and reduction, demonstrating great economic value and application potential.

The negative coordination of growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R) and growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRH-R) involves in the repair processes of cellular injury. The allosteric U- or H-like modified GHRH dimer Grinodin and 2Y were comparatively evaluated in normal Kunming mice and hamster infertility models induced by CPA treatment. 1-3-9 µg of Grinodin or 2Y per hamster stem-cell-exhaustion model was subcutaneously administered once a week, respectively inducing 75-69-46 or 45-13-50 % of birth rates. In comparison, the similar mole of human menopausal gonadotropin (hMG) or human growth hormone (hGH) was administered once a day but caused just 25 or 20 % of birth rates. Grinodin induced more big ovarian follicles and corpora lutea than 2Y, hMG, hGH. The hMG-treated group was observed many distorted interstitial cells and more connective tissues and the hGH-treated group had few ovarian follicles. 2Y had a plasma lifetime of 21 days and higher GH release in mice, inducing lower birth rate and stronger individual specificity in reproduction as well as only promoting the proliferation of mesenchymal-stem-cells (MSCs) in the models. In comparison, Grinodin had a plasma lifetime of 30 days and much lower GH release in mice. It significantly promoted the proliferation and activation of ovarian MSCs together with the development of follicles in the models by increasing Ki67 and GHS-R expressions, and decreasing GHRH-R expression in a dose-dependent manner. However, the high GH and excessive estrogen levels in the models showed a dose-dependent reduction in fertility. Therefore, unlike 2Y, the low dose of Grinodin specifically shows low GHS-R and high GHRH-R expressions thus evades GH and estrogen release and improves functions of organs, resulting in an increase of fertility.

Orientation regulation of nanoparticles in a suspension by an electric field is a powerful tool to tune its mechanical, thermal, optical, electrical properties etc. However, how molecular modification can affect the orientation of two-dimensional nanoparticles is still unclear. In this paper, the influence of molecular modification on the orientation of graphene nanosheets (GNS) in water was investigated through theoretical analyses and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. Firstly, a new orientation angle model was proposed, which considers hydration effects, dipole moments and resistance torque. Then, MD simulations were conducted to investigate the effects of position, direction, type, and number of functional groups on the orientation of GNS. The trend observed in MD simulations is consistent with the proposed theoretical model. The results reveal that, under the combined influence of the dipole moment and hydration effects, the modification with hydrophilic functional groups can reduce the orientation angle from 21.31° to 8.34°, while the modification with hydrophobic functional groups increases it to 26.43°. Among the hydrophilic functional groups, orientation of hydroxylated GNS is the best. With an increase in the number of hydroxyl groups, orientation angle is decreased from 12.61° to 8.34°. This work can provide valuable guidance for the design of high-performance suspensions and composites, such as thermal smart materials with adjustable thermal conductivity and intelligent devices with tailored capabilities.

The Chinese tree shrew ( Tupaia belangeri chinensis), a member of the mammalian order Scandentia, exhibits considerable similarities with primates, including humans, in aspects of its nervous, immune, and metabolic systems. These similarities have established the tree shrew as a promising experimental model for biomedical research on cancer, infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, and mental health conditions. Herein, we used meta-transcriptomic sequencing to analyze plasma, as well as oral and anal swab samples, from 105 healthy asymptomatic tree shrews to identify the presence of potential zoonotic viruses. In total, eight mammalian viruses with complete genomes were identified, belonging to six viral families, including Flaviviridae, Hepeviridae, Parvovirinae, Picornaviridae, Sedoreoviridae, and Spinareoviridae. Notably, the presence of rotavirus was recorded in tree shrews for the first time. Three viruses - hepacivirus 1, parvovirus, and picornavirus - exhibited low genetic similarity (<70%) with previously reported viruses at the whole-genome scale, indicating novelty. Conversely, three other viruses - hepacivirus 2, hepatovirus A and hepevirus - exhibited high similarity (>94%) to known viral strains. Phylogenetic analyses also revealed that the rotavirus and mammalian orthoreovirus identified in this study may be novel reassortants. These findings provide insights into the diverse viral spectrum present in captive Chinese tree shrews, highlighting the necessity for further research into their potential for cross-species transmission.

Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) are efficient carriers of drugs, and are promising in developing novel pesticide formulations. The cotton aphids Aphis gossypii Glover is a world devastating insect pest. It has evolved high level resistance to various insecticides thus resulted in the application of higher doses of insecticides, which raised environmental risk. In this study, the MSNs based pesticide/antibiotic delivery system was constructed for co-delivery of ampicillin (Amp) and imidacloprid (IMI). The IMI@Amp@MSNs complexes have improved toxicity against cotton aphids, and reduced acute toxicity to zebrafish. From the 16S rDNA sequencing results, Amp@MSNs, prepared by loading ampicillin to the mesoporous of MSNs, greatly disturbed the gut community of cotton aphids. Then, the relative expression of at least 25 cytochrome P450 genes of A. gossypii was significantly suppressed, including CYP6CY19 and CYP6CY22, which were found to be associated with imidacloprid resistance by RNAi. The bioassay results indicated that the synergy ratio of ampicillin to imidacloprid was 1.6, while Amp@MSNs improved the toxicity of imidacloprid by 2.4-fold. In addition, IMI@Amp@MSNs significantly improved the penetration of imidacloprid, and contributed to the amount of imidacloprid delivered to A. gossypii increased 1.4-fold. Thus, through inhibiting the relative expression of cytochrome P450 genes and improving penetration of imidacloprid, the toxicity of IMI@Amp@MSNs was 6.0-fold higher than that of imidacloprid. The greenhouse experiments further demonstrated the enhanced insecticidal activity of IMI@Amp@MSNs to A. gossypii. Meanwhile, the LC50 of IMI@Amp@MSNs to zebrafish was 3.9-fold higher than that of IMI, and the EC50 for malformation was 2.8-fold higher than IMI, respectively, which indicated that the IMI@Amp@MSNs complexes significantly reduced the environmental risk of imidacloprid. These findings encouraged the development of pesticide/antibiotic co-delivery nanoparticles, which would benefit pesticide reduction and environmental safety.

Cyclocodon lancifolius fruit is a promising commercial fruit with antioxidant activity and is rich in polyphenolic compounds. In this study, the anti-aging activity of C. lancifolius fruit extract (CF) on Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) was evaluated by observing the longevity, stress response, reproduction, oscillation, lipofuscin, and antioxidant enzymes of worms. Moreover, the effects and potential mechanisms of CF on delaying C. elegans senescence at the mRNA and metabolite levels were investigated. The results showed that CF treatment significantly increased the lifespan and stress resistance, decreased the levels of lipofuscin and reactive oxygen species (ROS), and improved the antioxidant system of C. elegans. The extension of the lifespan of C. elegans was remarkably correlated with the upregulation of mtl-1 and Hsp-16.2, along with the downregulation of age-1, daf-2, and akt-1. Metabolomics analysis revealed that purine metabolism is a key regulatory pathway for CF to exert anti-aging effects. The present study suggests that C. lancifolius fruit has potential for use as a functional food to enhance antioxidant capacity and delay aging.

Chlorine-resistant bacteria (CRB) in drinking water treatment plants (DWTPs) jeopardize water quality and pose a potential risk to human health. However, the specific response of CRB to chlorination and chloramination remains uncharacterized. Therefore, we analyzed 16 S rRNA sequencing data from water samples before and after chlorination and chloramination taken between January and December 2020. Proteobacteria and Firmicutes dominated all finished water samples. After chloramination, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas, Methylobacterium, Ralstonia, and Sphingomonas were the dominant CRB, whereas Ralstonia, Bacillus, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas, and Enterococcus were prevalent after chlorination. Over 75% of the CRB e.g. Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas, Bacillus, and Enterococcus were shared between the chlorination and chloramination, involving potentially pathogens, such as Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Notably, certain genera such as Faecalibacterium, Geobacter, and Megasphaera were enriched as strong CRB after chloramination, whereas Vogesella, Flavobacterium, Thalassolituus, Pseudoalteromonas, and others were enriched after chlorination according to LEfSe analysis. The shared CRB correlated with temperature, pH, and turbidity, displaying a seasonal pattern with varying sensitivity to chlorination and chloramination in cold and warm seasons. These findings enhance our knowledge of the drinking water microbiome and microbial health risks, thus enabling better infectious disease control through enhanced disinfection strategies in DWTPs.

Pruritus of lymphoma is commonly associated with both Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma (AITL) and critically affects the life quality of patient. Recent evidence suggests that the pruritogenic cytokines seem to play a significant role in the genesis of chronic. This study aims to investigate the cytokines associated with itching in lymphoma patients and provide the basis for potential therapeutic targets. Serum samples were collected from 60 lymphoma patients, including 47 with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and 13 with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), serving as the observation group (lymphoma group, LP group, n = 60). Additionally, serum samples from 8 healthy donors (HD group, n = 8) were collected for comparison. Within the lymphoma group, patients were stratified into those with pruritus (LWP group, n = 30) and those without pruritus (LWOP group, n = 30) based on the presence of skin pruritus symptoms. Elevated levels of multiple cytokines were significantly observed in the LP group in comparison to the HD group (p < 0.01). Patients in LWP group exhibited higher serum levels of IL-31 (p < 0.001), IL-1ß (P = 0.039), and IL-1α (P = 0.037) compared to LWOP group. Notably, serum IL-31 levels were higher in advanced AITL patients (stage IV) than in early AITL patients (stage I-Ⅲ, P < 0.05). In subgroup analysis, patients with pruritus in the AITL group exhibited higher serum levels of MIG and CTACK compared to HL group, whereas PDGF-BB levels were significantly lower (p < 0.05). Elevated serum levels of IL-31, IL-1ß, and IL-1α are linked to lymphoma-associated pruritus. Differences in serum cytokine profiles between HL and AITL subgroups are also highlighted. These findings offer valuable insights for clinical intervention in managing lymphoma-related pruritus.
