RESUMEN

Background: Surgical pain affects postoperative sleep quality, and they jointly form a vicious cycle of mutual influence. The cycle of postoperative pain and sleep disorders could lead to delirium, cardiovascular disease, and hyperalgesia, which significantly affect patients' postoperative recovery. Thus, exploring this phenomenon is of great importance for surgical patients, and warrants further investigation. Objective: By employing bibliometric methods, this study systematically analyzes the publications on postoperative pain-sleep disorders, identifies research trends and field dynamics, and ultimately provides insights for further progress in this research area. Methods: In this study, we searched the Web of Science database for studies on postoperative pain and sleep disorders from 2013 to 2023, and analyzed the number of publications, journals, authors, institutions, country regions, and keywords by utilizing CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and Bibliometrix. Results: The 1894 retrieved publications showed a trend of increasing number of publications and correlations between postoperative pain and sleep disorders from 2013 to 2023. The top countries for publications included the USA, China, etc., establishing a global collaborative network centered around the USA, China, and Europe. The top institutions for publications included University of California System, Harvard University, etc. The top authors include Christine Miaskowski, Steven M. Paul, Qiuling Shi, etc. These publications involved multiple disciplines including surgery, neurology, and anesthesiology, and various research funds including NIH, HHS, NSFC, etc. The top journals for publications included the European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, etc. Keywords that appear most frequently in this field include "pain", "surgery", "quality of life", "sleep", "depression", and "outcomes". The thematic map indicated that the hot topics in this area include obstructive sleep apnea, tonsillectomy, children, pain, quality of life, and sleep. The undeveloped topics with research potential included postoperative pain, analgesia and dexmedetomidine, breast cancer, fatigue, and lung cancer. Conclusion: The increased number of publications and correlations between postoperative pain and sleep disorders, and the collaborative network across the USA, China, and Europe indicate a growing global interest in this area. This study also provides valuable insights into the trend of hot topics and frontiers and shows that this is an evolving and dynamic research area.

Energy-intensive load benefits from low electricity tariff and carbon emission, since they occupy certain amounts in the total cost of the product. This paper considers energy-intensive load participation in the electricity as well as carbon trading to reduce the cost. Firstly, an electricity-carbon model is established based on the correlation value method to calculate the carbon emissions of energy-intensive load based on their electricity consumption to realize the carbon amount. Afterwards, the baseline method is used to allocate free carbon emission quotas to energy-intensive load and a reward-penalty carbon trading price mechanism considering offset is proposed. Next, the objective function to achieve maximum benefits, and to reduce output fluctuation, and to improve new energy accommodation is proposed. The case studies show that, by comparing multi-objective function optimization, the optimization target proposed in this paper can effectively reduce wind power output fluctuations and improve wind power accommodation. Through the total participation in carbon trading and electricity market income, multi-objective optimization can increase the system income while ensuring that energy-intensive load meets production requirements under the premise of reducing carbon emissions, verifying the effectiveness of the low-carbon optimal operation model proposed in this paper.

Background: Perioperative neurocognitive disorders (PND) refer to neurocognitive abnormalities during perioperative period, which are a great challenge for elderly patients and associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Our studies showed that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) regulate mitochondrial function and aging-related pathologies in the aged hippocampus after anesthesia, and lncRNAs are associated with multiple neurodegenerations. However, the regulatory role of lncRNAs in PND-related pathological processes remains unclear. Methods: A total of 18-month mice were assigned to control and surgery (PND) groups, mice in PND group received sevoflurane anesthesia and laparotomy. Cognitive function was assessed with fear conditioning test. Hippocampal RNAs were isolated for sequencing, lncRNA and microRNA libraries were constructed, mRNAs were identified, Gene Ontology (GO) analysis were performed, and lncRNA-microRNA-mRNA networks were established. qPCR was performed for gene expression verification. Results: A total of 312 differentially expressed (DE) lncRNAs, 340 DE-Transcripts of Uncertain Coding Potential (TUCPs), and 2,003 DEmRNAs were identified in the hippocampus between groups. The lncRNA-microRNA-mRNA competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network was constructed with 29 DElncRNAs, 90 microRNAs, 493 DEmRNAs, 148 lncRNA-microRNA interaction pairs, 794 microRNA-mRNA interaction pairs, and 110 lncRNA-mRNA co-expression pairs. 795 GO terms were obtained. Based on the frequencies of involved pathological processes, BP terms were divided into eight categories: neurological system alternation, neuronal development, metabolism alternation, immunity and neuroinflammation, apoptosis and autophagy, cellular communication, molecular modification, and behavior changes. LncRNA-microRNA-mRNA ceRNA networks in these pathological categories were constructed, and involved pathways and targeted genes were revealed. The top relevant lncRNAs in these ceRNA networks included RP23-65G6.4, RP24-396L14.1, RP23-251I16.2, XLOC_113622, RP24-496E14.1, etc., and the top relevant mRNAs in these ceRNA networks included Dlg4 (synaptic function), Avp (lipophagy), Islr2 (synaptic function), Hcrt (regulation of awake behavior), Tnc (neurotransmitter uptake). Conclusion: In summary, we have constructed the lncRNA-associated ceRNA network during PND development in mice, explored the role of lncRNAs in multiple pathological processes in the mouse hippocampus, and provided insights into the potential mechanisms and therapeutic gene targets for PND.

Radiation-induced salivary gland injury (RISGI) is a common complication of radiotherapy in patients with head and neck cancer. Intragland expression of the Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) gene may partially rescue irradiation (IR)-induced hyposalivation by preserving salivary stem/progenitor cells and parasympathetic innervation, maintaining resident macrophages, and maintaining microvascular density. Previous studies have revealed that Ad-Rat Shh transduction through the salivary glands of miniature pigs can ameliorate oxidative stress-induced microvascular dysfunction after radiotherapy. Changes in the parotid salivary flow rate were analyzed, and the parotid tissue was collected at 5 and 20 weeks after IR. Changes in the Hedgehog pathway and vascular function-related markers (vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and CD31) and oxidative stress-related markers were detected via immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and Western blotting. A stable Shh-overexpressing cell line was generated from human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and exposed to 10 Gy X-ray irradiation, after which endothelial cell proliferation, senescence, apoptosis, and vascular function were evaluated. We found that intragland expression of the Shh gene efficiently alleviated IR-induced parotid gland injury in a miniature pig model. Our results indicate that the antioxidative stress and microvascular-protective effects of the Hh pathway are regulated by nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2).

Objective: To investigate the effect of self-developed Ye'an Analgetic Decoction/Jiawei Shaoyao Gancao Decoction on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) symptom scores and RLS Severity of patients with restless legs syndrome (RLS). Methods: This was a clinical comparative study. Eighty patients with RLS admitted to Baoding No.1 Central Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were randomly divided into observation group and control group(n=40). Patients in the control group were given basic and oral tramadol treatment, while those in the observation group were given self-developed Ye'an Analgetic Decoction/Jiawei Shaoyao Gancao Decoction based on the treatment in the control group. The differences of TCM symptom scores, RLS severity (IRLS), quality of life (QOL-RLS), sleep quality (PSQI) and clinical efficacy between the two groups were compared. Results: Before treatment, no statistically significant differences were observed in the TCM symptom scores, IRLS scores, QOL-RLS scores and PSQI scores between the two groups (p>0.05). After treatment, the above scores decreased significantly in both groups, with a higher degree of decrease in the observation group than in the control group, indicating statistically significant differences (p<0.05). The QOL-RLS scores were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). The overall response rate in the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than that in the control group (80.00%), with a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). Conclusion: Self-developed Ye'an Analgetic Decoction/Jiawei Shaoyao Gancao Decoction leads to numerous benefits in the treatment of RLS, such as obviously ameliorating patients' clinical symptoms, reducing RLS severity, and improving their quality of life and sleep quality.

BACKGROUND: A key component of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is the involvement of immune cells. However, the causal interaction between different immune cell signatures and IPF remain inconclusive. OBJECTIVES: Based on publicly accessible data, our study utilized the Mendelian randomization (MR) approach to determine the causative relevance of complex immune cell phenotypes in IPF. METHODS: We deployed a two-sample Mendelian randomization approach to evaluate the causal interaction between immune cell markers and IPF. All data regarding 731 immune signatures and IPF were acquired from two genome-wide association studies (GWAS) that are accessible to the public. The original study adopted the inverse variance weighted (IVW) method, followed by sensitivity analyses aimed at eliminating heterogeneity and pleiotropy. Additionally, Multivariate Mendelian randomization (MVMR) was utilized to identify the independent risk factors in our study. RESULTS: The summary dataset for IPF was accessed from the Finnish Genetic Consortium R9, comprising 2018 patients and 373,064 controls. And the dataset for immune signatures was conducted in 3,757 Sardinian individuals. By conducting IVW and extensive sensitivity analyses, univariate Mendelian randomization (UVMR) identified one immunophenotype that remained causally associated with IPF after false discovery rate (FDR) correction: CD39 on CD39+ CD8+T cells (odd ratio [OR] = 0.850, 95 % confidence interval [CI] = 0.787-0.918, P = 3.68 × 10-5). The causal association with IPF was further validated using MVMR. CONCLUSIONS: Based on rigorous MR analysis methods and FDR correction, our study demonstrated that CD39 on CD39+ CD8+T cells showed a protective effect against IPF, providing effective insights for preventing and diagnosing pulmonary fibrosis.

Data from the International Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Database were used to compare the phosphorus (P) control performance of six categories of stormwater BMPs representing traditional systems (stormwater pond, wetland basin, and detention basin) and low-impact development (LID) systems (bioretention cell, grass swale, and grass strip). Machine learning (ML) models were trained to predict the reduction or enrichment factors of surface runoff concentrations and loadings of total P (TP) and soluble reactive P (SRP) for the different categories of BMP systems. Relative to traditional BMPs, LIDs generally enriched TP and SRP concentrations in stormwater surface outflow and yielded poorer P runoff load control. The SRP concentration reduction and enrichment factors of LIDs also tended to be more sensitive to variations in climate and watershed characteristics. That is, LIDs were more likely to enrich surface runoff SRP concentrations in drier climates, when inflow SRP concentrations were low, and for watersheds exhibiting high impervious land cover. Overall, our results imply that stormwater BMPs do not universally attenuate urban P export and that preferentially implementing LIDs over traditional BMPs may increase TP and SRP export to receiving freshwater bodies, hence magnifying eutrophication risks.

Developing electrocatalysts with high activity and durability for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in both acidic and alkaline electrolytes remains challenging. In this study, we synthesize a self-supported ruthenium-iron oxide on carbon cloth (Ru-Fe-Ox/CC) using solvothermal methods followed by air calcination. The morphology of the nanoparticle exposes numerous active sites vital for electrocatalysis. Additionally, the strong electronic interaction between Ru and Fe enhances electrocatalytic kinetics optimization. The porous structure of the carbon cloth matrix facilitates mass transport, improving electrolyte penetration and bubble release. Consequently, Ru-Fe-Ox/CC demonstrates excellent catalytic performance, achieving low overpotentials of 32 mV and 28 mV for HER and 216 mV and 228 mV for OER in acidic and alkaline electrolytes, respectively. Notably, only 1.48 V and 1.46 V are required to reach 10 mA cm-2 for efficient water-splitting in both mediums, exhibiting remarkable stability. This research offers insights into designing versatile, highly efficient catalysts suitable for varied pH conditions.

Polyvinylpolymethylsiloxane (PVPMS)/polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) copolymer aerogels were synthesized via consecutive radical polymerization and cohydrolytic polycondensation of vinylmethyldimethoxysilane and dimethyldimethoxysilane, followed by supercritical drying or ambient pressure drying. The resultant PVPMS/PDMS copolymer aerogels exhibit a highly porous, tunable triple-network structure consisting of interlinked hydrocarbon polymers, PVPMS and PDMS. These aerogels display superhydrophobicity (151°), low density (109 mg cm-3), low thermal conductivity (29.8 mW m-1 K-1), and adjustable pore structure. The combination of good machinability, low thermal conductivity, excellent compressive elasticity and bending flexibility, and efficient organic solvent adsorption gives these aerogels broad application prospects in thermal insulation and oil-water separation. In addition, PVPMS/PDMS/carbon nanotube (CNT) composite aerogels were obtained by incorporating the conductive CNTs, followed by vacuum drying. The resultant PVPMS/PDMS/CNT composite aerogel exhibits high sensitivity with a broad pressure sensing range in strain and pressure sensing applications.

Improving the efficiency of overall water splitting (OWS) is crucial due to the slow four-electron transfer process in the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). The coupling of the thermodynamically favorable hydrazine oxidation reaction (HzOR) with the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) significantly boosts hydrogen production. A Ru-decorated MoNi/MoO2 micropillar (Ru-MoNi/MoO2) has been synthesized using a hydrothermal followed by reduction annealing. Benefiting from Ru moderating the active interface of Mo-based alloys/oxides and the unique one-dimensional micropillar morphology. The synthesized Ru-MoNi/MoO2 exhibits outstanding bifunctional activity for HER and HzOR, achieving 10 mA cm-2 at merely -13 mV and -34 mV in 1 M KOH and 1 M KOH + 0.5 M N2H4, respectively. Notably, with Ru-MoNi/MoO2 in a dual-electrode setup, only 0.57 V is needed to achieve 50 mA cm-2, demonstrating good stability and facilitating hydrazine-assisted water splitting (OHzS). This work offers insights into the modulation of alloy/metal oxide active interfaces, contributing to the development of efficient bifunctional catalysts for HER and HzOR.

Active sites, mass loading, and Li-ion diffusion coefficient are the benchmarks for boosting the areal capacity and storage capability of electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries. However, simultaneously modulating these criteria to achieve high areal capacity in LIBs remains challenging. Herein, MoS2 is considered as a suitable electroactive host material for reversible Li-ion storage and establish an endogenous multi-heterojunction strategy with interfacial Mo-C/N-Mo-S coordination bonding that enables the concurrent regulation of these benchmarks. This strategy involves architecting 3D integrated conductive nanostructured frameworks composed of Mo2C-MoN@MoS2 on carbon cloth (denoted as C/MMMS) and refining the sluggish kinetics in the MoS2-based anodes. Benefiting from the rich hetero-interface active sites, optimized Li adsorption energy, and low diffusion barrier, C/MMMS reaches a mass loading of 12.11 mg cm-2 and showcases high areal capacity and remarkable rate capability of 9.6 mAh cm-2@0.4 mA cm-2 and 2.7 mAh cm-2@6.0 mA cm-2, respectively, alongside excellent stability after 500 electrochemical cycles. Moreover, this work not only affirms the outstanding performance of the optimized C/MMMS as an anode material for supercapacitors, underscoring its bifunctionality but also offers valuable insight into developing endogenous transition metal compound electrodes with high mass loading for the next-generation high areal capacity energy storage devices.

The goal of "carbon peak, carbon neutral" and the increasing expansion of new energy have helped to advance the development of energy storage. However, since the operating cost of energy storage is high, carbon emission trading and power market trading have emerged, effectively improving the efficiency. In this paper, a trading strategy and bidding framework of energy storage participation in the day-ahead joint market are studied. A market bidding model has been established in a framework based on the Stackelberg game. Finally, the "Day-Ahead and Intra-Day and Carbon Emission Trading (CET)" market clearing model has been constructed. It has been simplified to solve the equivalent mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) problem with equilibrium constraints through the use of the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) optimality criterion and duality principle. The proposed model is validated through improved examples to obtain thermal unit output cuts of up to 32.2% during load trough periods, and up to 16.75% increase in clearing prices during peak load periods. The storage life is extended and the storage output variation is minimized.

Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a progressive interstitial inflammatory disease with a high mortality rate. Patients with PF commonly experience a chronic dry cough and progressive dyspnoea for years without effective mitigation. The pathogenesis of PF is believed to be associated with dysfunctional macrophage polarization, fibroblast proliferation, and the loss of epithelial cells. Thus, it is of great importance and necessity to explore the interactions among macrophages, fibroblasts, and alveolar epithelial cells in lung fibrosis, as well as in the pro-fibrotic microenvironment. In this review, we discuss the latest studies that have investigated macrophage polarization and activation of non-immune cells in the context of PF pathogenesis and progression. Next, we discuss how profibrotic cellular crosstalk is promoted in the PF microenvironment by multiple cytokines, chemokines, and signalling pathways. And finally, we discuss the potential mechanisms of fibrogenesis development and efficient therapeutic strategies for the disease. Herein, we provide a comprehensive summary of the vital role of macrophage polarization in PF and its profibrotic crosstalk with fibroblasts and alveolar epithelial cells and suggest potential treatment strategies to target their cellular communication in the microenvironment.

Transfusion of bacterially contaminated platelets, although rare, is still a major cause of mortality and morbidity despite the introduction of many methods to limit this over the past 20 years. The methods used include improved donor skin disinfection, diversion of the first part of donations, use of apheresis platelet units rather than whole-blood derived pools, primary and secondary testing by culture or rapid test, and use of pathogen reduction. Primary culture has been in use the US since 2004, using culture 24 h after collection of volumes of 4-8 mL from apheresis collections and whole-blood derived pools inoculated into aerobic culture bottles, with limited use of secondary testing by culture or rapid test to extend shelf-life from 5 to 7 days. Primary culture was introduced in the UK in 2011 using a "large-volume, delayed sampling" (LVDS) protocol requiring culture 36-48 h after collection of volumes of 16 mL from split apheresis units and whole-blood derived pools, inoculated into aerobic and anaerobic culture bottles (8 mL each), with a shelf-life of 7 days. Pathogen reduction using amotosalen has been in use in Europe since 2002, and was approved for use in the US in 2014. In the US, recent FDA guidance, effective October 2021, recommended several strategies to limit bacterial contamination of platelet products, including pathogen reduction, variants of the UK LVDS method and several two-step strategies, with shelf-life ranging from 3 to 7 days. The issues associated with bacterial contamination and these strategies are discussed in this review.

Against the backdrop of the gradual advancement of China's electricity market reform, the number of Power Trading Companies in China has been increasing year by year, and as of October 2022, the number has reached more than 10,000. As an important hub connecting the electricity market and users, electricity retailers face double risks from downstream user load fluctuations and electricity market price fluctuations. Therefore, a reasonable power purchase and sale strategy is very important for an electricity retailer. In this study, a block bidding mechanism is adopted to optimize the clearing of the medium-to long-term market and a DA-RBF neural network is established for spot electricity price forecasting model based on numerical feature similarity to improve the accuracy of electricity price forecasting. Furthermore, the model considers the differences in user demand responses and investigates the optimal power purchase and sale strategy, guided by differentiated time-of-use electricity pricing. The case study analysis demonstrated that the proposed power purchase and sale optimization strategy yields favorable results, improving profitability and enhancing the stability of the power system.

Dwarfing rootstocks have transformed the production of cultivated apples; however, the genetic basis of rootstock-induced dwarfing remains largely unclear. We have assembled chromosome-level, near-gapless and haplotype-resolved genomes for the popular dwarfing rootstock 'M9', the semi-vigorous rootstock 'MM106' and 'Fuji', one of the most commonly grown apple cultivars. The apple orthologue of auxin response factor 3 (MdARF3) is in the Dw1 region of 'M9', the major locus for rootstock-induced dwarfing. Comparing 'M9' and 'MM106' genomes revealed a 9,723-bp allele-specific long terminal repeat retrotransposon/gypsy insertion, DwTE, located upstream of MdARF3. DwTE is cosegregated with the dwarfing trait in two segregating populations, suggesting its prospective utility in future dwarfing rootstock breeding. In addition, our pipeline discovered mobile mRNAs that may contribute to the development of dwarfed scion architecture. Our research provides valuable genomic resources and applicable methodology, which have the potential to accelerate breeding dwarfing rootstocks for apple and other perennial woody fruit trees.

The efficiency of hydrogen evolution at ruthenium (Ru) active sites, often hindered by the kinetics of water dissociation in alkaline or neutral conditions, requires further enhancement. Metal oxides, due to superior electron dynamics facilitated by oxygen vacancies (OVS) and shifts in the Fermi level, surpass carbon-based materials. In particular, tungsten oxide (WO3) promotes the directed migration of electrons and protons which significantly activates the Ru sites. Ru/WO3-OV is prepared through a simple hydrothermal and low-temperature annealing process. The prepared catalyst achieves 10 mA cm-2 at overpotentials of 23 mV (1 M KOH), 36 mV (0.5 M H2SO4), 62 mV (1 M PBS), and 38 mV (1 M KOH + seawater). At an overpotential corresponding to 10 mA cm-2 in 1 M KOH and 1 M KOH + seawater, the mass activity of Ru/WO3-OV is about 7.7 and 7.86 times that of 20 wt% Pt/C. The improvement in activity and stability arises from electronic modifications attributed to metal-support interaction. This work offers novel insights for modulating the HER activity of Ru sites across a wide pH range.

Introduction: In the context of the digital economy, the emergence and application of emerging technologies have accelerated the integration of traditional social structures with new technologies, leading to the inception of the "Future Community" as an innovative urban unit. With an aging population's rapid and sustained rise, integrating health care for older adults with modern information technology is gradually moving towards holistic governance. This approach utilizes the Future Community as a medium and aims for quality enhancement and increased efficiency, which instrumentally addresses the diversified health care needs of China's aging era. Methods: In this study, we employed a questionnaire survey method that covered 11 communities in Tianjin City to understand better the current status and characteristics of their health care services. Results: The survey results show that the means of community health care for older adults are gradually being upgraded, and the demands are shifting. Then, we arrive at three conclusions: firstly, technological innovation and smart approaches have the potential to positively influence the quality of health care in these communities. Secondly, allocating health care resources within communities can have a salutary effect on the psychological well-being of seniors. Thirdly, actively involving seniors in community life and governance can elevate their self-worth. Discussion: At last, in conjunction with current challenges, we think that deepening multi-party collaboration, educating specialized talents, and bridging the "digital gap" would be effective ways to establish a future community for seniors.

Introduction: This longitudinal study aims to investigate the relationship between fear of COVID-19, support-seeking behaviors, and perceived social support among Chinese college students during two distinct periods of the COVID-19 pandemic: the period of strict control (time 1) and the period following a relaxation of restrictions (time 2). Methods: A total of 408 Chinese college students participated in this study. Data collection included demographic information, measures of fear of COVID-19, support-seeking behaviors, and perceived social support. Results: Fear of COVID-19 at time 1 showed a significant positive association with fear of COVID-19 at time 2. The relationship between support-seeking behavior at time 1 and fear of COVID-19 at time 2 was significantly mediated through a chain mediation effect of support-seeking behavior at time 1 and perceived social support at time 2. Discussion: This study contributes to the growing body of evidence on the psychological impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and underscores the significance of social support in mitigating fear of COVID-19. It calls for a re-evaluation of public health policies considering their potential psychological effects and introduces new opportunities for developing psychosocial interventions.

OBJECTIVES: The inner mechanism of how diabetes affects dental pulp of patients with periodontitis has seldom been reported. We collected clinical samples and explored the influence of diabetes and periodontitis on the pathological change of dental pulp. METHODS: Dental pulp from healthy individuals and patients with periodontitis with or without diabetes were collected based on strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. Dental pulp was morphologically observed; advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and lectin-like oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor-1 (LOX1) were examined. Oxidative stress (OS), inflammatory indices, and apoptotic levels were assessed. RESULTS: Morphologically, fibrous structure in the dental pulp of patients with diabetic periodontitis (DP) group was sparse and disordered, and the blood vessel wall was thickened. Diabetes related indexes as AGEs and LOX1 were upregulated. Superoxide dismutase 2 expression was decreased, and OS level was increased. Matrix metalloproteinase 3 and other relevant proinflammatory cytokines levels were increased. The elevated OS and inflammation contributed to upregulation of apoptotic levels in DP group. CONCLUSIONS: Diabetes aggravates the pathological changes in the dental pulp of periodontitis patients possibly due to upregulated AGEs and LOX1. Our results highlight the importance of early oral intervention in patients with DP.
