RESUMEN

The performance of low-cost smart terminals is limited by the performance of their low-cost Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) hardware and chips, as well as by the impact of complex urban environments, which affect the positioning accuracy and stability of GNSS services. To this end, this paper proposes a robust adaptive Kalman filter for different environments that can be applied after data preprocessing. Based on the Kalman filter algorithm, a robust estimation approach is introduced into real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning to make judgments on the abnormal observation values of low-cost smart terminals, which amplifies the variance and covariance of the outlier observation equation, and reduces the impact of outliers on positioning performance. The Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics III (IGG III) function is used for regulation purposes, where prior information is modified and refreshed using the equivalent weight matrix and adaptive factors, thus reducing the impact of system model errors on system state estimation results. In addition, a robust factor is defined to adjust positioning deviation weighting between the pre- and post-test robust estimates. The experimental results show that after robust RTK positioning in the static experiments, the overall improvement in positioning accuracies of the Xiaomi 8, Huawei P40, Huawei mate40, and low-cost M8 receiver reached 29.6%, 31.3%, 32.1%, and 30.7%, respectively. Similarly, after applying the proposed robust method in the dynamic experiments, the overall positioning accuracies of the Xiaomi 8, Huawei P40, Huawei mate40, and the low-cost M8 receiver improved by 28.3%, 32.9%, 35.4%, and 26.2%, respectively. The experimental results reveal that an excellent positioning effect of a smartphone is positively correlated with robust RTK positioning performance. However, it is worth noting that when the positioning accuracy reaches a high level, such as the positioning results achieved using low-cost receivers, the robustness performance shows a relatively decreasing trend. This finding suggests that under the condition of high positioning accuracy, the sensitivity of specific positioning equipment to interference sources may increase, resulting in a decline in the effect of robust RTK positioning.

RESUMEN

With the continuous construction and development of the BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS), its positioning performance is constantly being improved. In this study, the positioning performance of different frequency combinations of BDS-3/GPS/Galileo in the Asia-Pacific region was investigated. The precision products of Wuhan University and the observation data of nine MGEX stations were selected to compare and analyze the B1I\B1C\B2a\B3I and L1\E1 pseudo-range Standard Point Positioning (SPP) and B1IB2a\B1IB3I\B1CB2a\B1CB3I\B2aB3I\L1L2\E1E5a precise point positioning (PPP) performance, while B1I\B3I\L1 SPP and B1IB3I PPP were investigated using BDS-2 with QZSS supplemented with BDS-3 and GPS. The experimental results showed that the positioning precision of BDS-3/GPS/Galileo SPP was in the order of B1C > E1 > L1 > B1I > B3I > B2a, and it was not significantly improved after BDS-2 and QZSS were added. Moreover, for the PPP of different frequency combinations, the convergence speed was in the order of L1L2 > B1IB3I > E1E5a > B1CB3I > B1CB2a > B1IB2a > B2aB3I. After adding BDS-2, B1IB3I improved by about 11% in static mode and 27% in kinematic mode, which was similar to the L1L2 frequency combination. The positioning precision of different frequency combinations of BDS-3/GPS/Galileo was B1IB3I > B1CB3I > L1L2 > E1E5a > B1B2a > B1CB2a > B2aB3I. In static mode, after adding BDS-2, B1IB3I did not show significant improvement in the plane direction, and showed ~61% improvement in the elevation direction, and ~67% in the three-dimensional (3D) direction. In kinematic mode, after adding BDS-2, B1IB3I was improved by about 16% in the E direction, the N direction did not show significant change, it improved by ~38% in the U direction and by ~70% in the 3D direction. In general, the positioning performance of BDS-3 was slightly better than those of GPS and Galileo in the Asia-Pacific region, and it is believed that with the continuous development of BDS, its positioning performance will surely be improved further.

RESUMEN

Objective: To systematically evaluate the attentional bias in patients with depression toward emotional stimuli and to explore eye movement indicators and potential regulatory variables that can distinguish such patients from healthy individuals. Methods: Case-control studies regarding eye-tracking in major depressive disorder published in PubMed, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, The Cochrane Library, EBSCOhost, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, and VIP databases from database initiation until March 12, 2022 were included in the present meta-analysis. Two researchers independently screened the literature and performed data extraction. The quality of the literature was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa quality assessment scale.RevMan 5.4 software was used for Meta-analysis. Results: Overall, 14 studies were included, including 1,167 participants (N depression = 474; N healthy = 693). We found that (1) fixation duration was significantly lower for positive emotional stimuli in the depression group than that in the healthy group; however, for negative stimuli, the fixation duration was significantly more in the depression group than in the healthy group. No significant difference was observed in terms of neutral emotional stimuli between groups. (2) Patients with depression exhibited a significantly lower fixation count for positive emotional stimuli than healthy individuals, whereas the fixation count for negative emotional stimuli was significantly higher in the depression group than in the healthy group. No significant difference was found for neutral emotional stimuli between groups. (3) No significant difference was detected in terms of the first fixation duration of the positive, negative, and neutral emotional stimuli between groups. (4) subgroup analysis indicated that age effected fixation duration for positive emotional stimuli. In addition, age and the type of negative emotional picture (sad, dysphoric, threat, anger) effected fixation duration for negative emotional stimuli. Conclusion: Our research supports that patients with depression exhibit a negative attention bias toward emotional stimuli, and the fixation duration and fixation counts may be used as auxiliary objective indicators for depression screening.

RESUMEN

Concerning the triple-frequency ambiguity resolution, in principle there are three different realizations. The first one is to fix all the ambiguities of the original frequencies together. However, it is also believed that fixing the combined integer ambiguities with longer wavelength, such as extra-wide-lane (EWL), wide-lane (WL), should be advantageous. Also, it is demonstrated that fixing sequentially EWL, WL and one type of original ambiguities provides better results, as the previously fixed ambiguities increase parameters' precision for later fixings. In this paper, we undertake a comparative study of the three fixing approaches by means of experimental validation. In order to realize the three fixing approaches from the same information in terms of adjustment, we developed a processing strategy to provide fully consistent normal equations. We first generate the normal equation with the original undifferentiated carrier phase ambiguities, then map it into that with the combined and double-differenced ambiguities required by the individual approach for fixing. Four baselines of 258 m, 22 km, 47 km and 53 km are selected and processed in both static and kinematic mode using the three ambiguity-fixing approaches. Indicators including time of first fixed solution (TFFS), the correct fixing rate, positioning accuracy and RATIO are used to evaluate and investigate results. We also made a preliminary theoretical explanation of the results by looking into the decorrelation procedure of the ambiguity searching algorithm and the intermediate results. As conclusions, integrated searching of original ambiguities or combined ambiguities has almost the same fixing performance, whereas the sequential fixing of EWL, WL and B1 ambiguities overperforms the integrated searching. By the way, the third-frequency data can shorten the TFFS significantly but can hardly improve the positioning.

RESUMEN

Metronidazole, a widely used drug for the treatment of infections with anaerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, can frequently cause metronidazole-induced cutaneous adverse reactions (McADRs). The aim of the present study was to investigate the association between human leucocyte antigen (HLA) alleles and McADRs in a Chinese Han population. The frequency of HLA-B*24:02 carriers among the McADR patients was 73.3%, which was significantly higher than that of the population controls (32.16%, OR = 5.80, 95% CI = [1.80-18.72], Pc = 0.004) and of the metronidazole-tolerant patients (26.67%, OR = 7.56, 95% CI = [2.02-28.35], Pc = 0.004). Molecular docking showed that metronidazole and one of its major metabolites had the potential to bind in the HLA groove and that there was a relatively stable binding state of the HLA-B*24:02-metronidazole/the metabolite complex. The CDR3 repertoires of both T cell receptor (TCR)Vα and Vß of the patients showed a significantly skewed or an oligoclonal distribution. The TCRVß CDR3 of the patients shared a similar motif, "CASSxxxxxxQxF." The current study demonstrated that both the HLA-A*24:02 allele and TCR are involved in the pathogenesis of McADRs.

RESUMEN

Tanshinone, a widely used Chinese patent medicine, has been confirmed to have various kinds of pharmacological effects although frequently causing cutaneous adverse drug reactions (cADRs). We aim to identify whether human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I alleles are associated with tanshinone-induced cADRs in Han Chinese. The association study including 18 patients with tanshinone-induced cADRs, 67 tanshinone-tolerant volunteers, and two general population databases consisted of 10,689 and 169,995 healthy subjects was performed. The frequency of tanshinone-induced cADRs patients carrying HLA-A*02:01 was significantly higher when compared with the general control groups (OR = 6.25, Pc = 7.20 × 10-5; OR = 7.14, Pc = 8.00 × 10-6), and with the tolerant group (OR = 5.09, Pc = 0.024). The molecular docking assay confirmed high affinity of the ingredients of tanshinone towards HLA-A*02:01 (≤-7.5 kcal/mol). The result suggested HLA-A*02:01 may work as a promisingly predictive marker for tanshinone personalized therapy in Han Chinese.

RESUMEN

Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) /toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) are life-threatening severe cutaneous adverse drug reactions characterized by widespread epidermal necrosis. Recent studies have indicated that SJS/TEN is a specific immune reaction regulated by T cells. Certain drug serves as foreign antigens that are presented by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) and recognized by T cell receptors (TCRs), inducing adaptive immune responses. However, few studies have performed detailed characterization of TCR repertoire in SJS/TEN, and it remains unclear whether the particular types of TCRs expanded clonally are drug-specific, which would provide a potential underlying mechanism of SJS/TEN. In this study, using high-throughput sequencing, we comprehensively assessed the diversity, composition and molecular characteristics of the TCRß repertoires in 17 SJS/TEN patients associated with three different causative drugs including methazolamide (MZ), carbamazepine (CBZ) and allopurinol (ALP). Systematic analysis of the TCRß sequences revealed that SJS/TEN patients had more highly expanded clones and less TCR repertoire diversity, and the TCR repertoire diversity of these patients showed certain associations with the clinical severity of disease. Similar predominant clonotypes, shared-usage TRBV/TRBJ subtypes and combinations thereof were observed among different subjects with the same causative agent. Our observations provide enhanced understanding of the role of T lymphocytes in the pathogenesis of SJS/TEN and enumerate potential therapeutic targets.

RESUMEN

Xuesaitong (XST) is mainly used to treat cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, sometimes causing cutaneous adverse drug reactions (cADRs) with unknown mechanisms of pathogenicity or risk factors. We aimed to verify whether human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles are associated with XST-related cADRs in Han Chinese population. We carried out an association study including 12 subjects with XST-induced cADRs, 283 controls, and 28 XST-tolerant subjects. Five out of 12 patients with XST-induced cADRs carried HLA-C*12:02, and all of them received XST via intravenous drip. The carrier frequency of HLA-C*12:02 was significantly high compare to that of the control population (Pc = 4.4 × 10-4, odds ratio (OR) = 21.75, 95% CI = 5.78-81.88). Compared with that of the XST-tolerant group, the patients who received XST through intravenous drip presented a higher OR of cADRs (Pc = 0.011, OR = 27.00, 95% CI = 2.58-282.98). The results suggest that HLA-C*12:02 is a potentially predictive marker of XST-induced cADRs in Han Chinese, especially when XST is administered via intravenous drip.

RESUMEN

Genetic risk factors could cause cutaneous adverse drug reactions (cADRs) in patients after treatment with clarithromycin. This study explored the association of HLA class I genes with clarithromycin-cADRs in Han Chinese patients. A total of 12 clarithromycin-cADR patients and 34 clarithromycin-tolerant controls were recruited for the high-resolution genotyping of HLA class I genes (HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-C). The population controls consisted of 283 Han Chinese retrieved from the MHC database for validated comparison. A molecular docking analysis of HLA-A*02:07 protein and clarithromycin was conducted using glide module with Schrödinger Suite. Among all tested HLA alleles, the carrier frequencies of HLA-A*02:07 (58% versus 5.9%, OR = 22.40, 95% CI = 3.58-139.98, p = 8.20 × 10E-5, pc = 1.1 × 10E-3) and HLA-B*46:01 (50% versus 5.9%, OR = 16.00, 95% CI = 2.59-98.99, p = 0.002, pc = 0.03) were significantly higher in clarithromycin-cADRs than in clarithromycin-tolerant controls. However, when compared to population controls, only HLA-A*02:07, and not HLA-B*46:01, reached statistical significance (58% versus 15.5%, OR = 7.61, 95% CI = 2.31-25.04, p = 1.2 × 10E-4, pc = 1.7 × 10E-3). Furthermore, molecular docking data revealed that clarithromycin could bind to and interact with HLA-A*02:07 in two possible binding situations. These data suggest that HLA-A*02:07 might be a genetic risk factor for developing clarithromycin-cADRs in Han Chinese and serve as a useful biomarker for personalized medicine to prevent clarithromycin-cADRs.

RESUMEN

RNA editing is an important co- and post-transcriptional event that generates RNA and protein diversity. Aminoglycosides are a group of bactericidal antibiotics and a mainstay of antimicrobial therapy for several life-threatening infections. However, aminoglycosides can induce ototoxicity, resulting in damage to the organs responsible for hearing and balance. At low concentrations, aminoglycosides can bind to many RNA sequences and critically influence RNA editing. We used a bioinformatics approach to investigate the effect of aminoglycosides on global mRNA editing events to gain insight into the interactions between mRNA editing and aminoglycoside ototoxicity. We identified 6,850 mRNA editing sites in protein coding genes in embryonic zebrafish, and in about 10% of these, the degree of RNA editing changed more than 15% under aminoglycosides treatment. Twelve ear-development or ototoxicity related genes, including plekhm1, fgfr1a, sox9a, and calrl2, exhibited remarkable changes in mRNA editing levels in zebrafish treated with aminoglycosides. Our results indicate that aminoglycosides may have a widespread and complicated influence on the progress of mRNA editing and expression. Furthermore, these results highlight the potential importance of mRNA editing in the pathogenesis and etiology of aminoglycoside-induced ototoxicity.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: Tetanus antitoxin (TAT) is an effective antitetanus medicine, but may sometimes cause adverse drug reactions such as rapid-onset anaphylactic shock and late-onset cutaneous adverse drug reactions, including exanthematous drug eruptions (EDE). Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I alleles are strongly associated with different types of cutaneous adverse drug reactions. This study aimed to assess whether there is an association between TAT-induced EDE and HLA-A, HLA-B, and HLA-C alleles in the Chinese Han population. PATIENTS AND METHODS: We carried out an association study in 15 patients with TAT-induced EDE and two groups of general Han Chinese patients. Allele-level genotypes of the HLA-A, HLA-B, and HLA-C genes of each patient were determined using the PCR-sequence-specific oligonucleotides method. RESULTS: The carrier frequency of HLA serotype A2 was significantly higher in the TAT-induced EDE patients than in the general Han Chinese study participants from the human major histocompatibility complex database [n=283, odds ratio (OR)=6.93; P=0.0061]. Particularly, the carrier frequency of three A2 alleles, including HLA-A*02:01, HLA-A*02:06, and HLA-A*02:07, is significantly higher than that of the control group (OR=14.40; P=2.4×10). Furthermore, HLA-B*39:01 was in complete linkage disequilibrium with HLA-A*02:06 in the case patients. Consequently, the distribution of the HLA-A*02:06/-B*39:01 haplotype was also significantly different in the cases and the controls (OR=105.00; P=0.0024). CONCLUSION: The HLA-A*02:06/-B*39:01 haplotype is a potential genetic marker for the TAT-induced EDE. Furthermore, the HLA-A2 serotype, especially three alleles A*02:01, A*02:06, and A*02:07, was identified to be associated with the TAT-induced EDE in the Han Chinese population for the first time.

RESUMEN

The GNSS derived Zenith Tropospheric Delay (ZTD) plays today a very critical role in meteorological study and weather forecasts, as ZTDs of thousands of GNSS stations are operationally assimilated into numerical weather prediction models. Recently, the Chinese BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) was officially announced to provide operational services around China and its neighborhood and it was demonstrated to be very promising for precise navigation and positioning. In this contribution, we concentrate on estimating ZTD using BDS observations to assess its capacity for troposphere remote sensing. A local network which is about 250 km from Beijing and comprised of six stations equipped with GPS- and BDS-capable receivers is utilized. Data from 5 to 8 November 2012 collected on the network is processed in network mode using precise orbits and in Precise Point Positioning mode using precise orbits and clocks. The precise orbits and clocks are generated from a tracking network with most of the stations in China and several stations around the world. The derived ZTDs are compared with that estimated from GPS data using the final products of the International GNSS Service (IGS). The comparison shows that the bias and the standard deviation of the ZTD differences are about 2 mm and 5 mm, respectively, which are very close to the differences of GPS ZTD estimated using different software packages.

RESUMEN

This paper discusses the effect of transverse force on the performance of quartz crystal resonator (QXR) force sensors that use symmetrical incomplete circular QXRs as sensing elements. Based on Lee's vibration theory and the transverse force-induced stress distribution, frequency changes are derived. This result and finite element method (FEM) are applied to investigate the performance of two metal-quartz combined sensors under the action of transverse force. Analytical and experimental results show that transverse force affects the sensitivity and linearity of QXR force sensors.
