RESUMEN

An automated assessment of the results of treatment and prediction of a course of the postoperative period was performed in 218 patients with cholelithiasis by means of ES computer according to 100 parameters. Five statistic packs of the application programs (VMDR-75 version) were used. Cluster-analysis, factor analysis and a method of the main components were employed. Four most essential risk factors were distinguished, the regressive models of a postoperative period obtained. This permitted to choose the most rational method for treatment.

RESUMEN

The authors studied the results of sonography of the breast and zones of regional lymph drainage in 15,973 patients. In 154 of them puncture aspiration biopsy was conducted under ultrasonic control. Breast carcinoma was found in 23 patients, in 2 of them the tumor was not palpable. The examination was performed on the Aloka-SSD-630 apparatus. The sonographic picture was that of a structure with diminished echogenic properties, irregular notched contours, and non-uniform echo signals from the internal structures. Echography with puncture biopsy made it also possible to reveal the presence of nonpalpable axillary metastatic lymph nodes and to establish the precise differential diagnosis of benign and malignant intraductal tumors. The method of puncture aspiration biopsy under control of ultrasonic examination is highly effective in the differential diagnosis of breast carcinoma.

RESUMEN

A study of 198 patients with chronic gastritis after cholecystectomy revealed that chronic gastritis occurred in 2.6-4.5% of patients with benign diseases of the biliary tract and postcholecystectomy syndrome that were not diagnosed before surgery. Gastric disorders should be considered in the complex of rehabilitation measures after cholecystectomy. Treatment in a gastroenterological department and at health resort will improve long-term results.

RESUMEN

In a work, the comparative analysis of the state of immunological reactivity in 25 patients with pathology of the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts and in 25 healthy subjects is presented. In patients, T-lymphocytopenia, impaired ratio of subpopulations of the helpers and suppressors, increase in the absorptive and metabolic activity of neutrophilic granulocytes, lysozyme activity of the blood serum, decrease in the immunoglobulin G content are observed.

RESUMEN

The authors report results of examination and treatment of 318 patients with chronic pancreatitis following cholecystectomy. Cholelithiasis is one of the most frequent etiological factors of development of pancreatitis. The incidence of pancreatitis showed a direct proportion to the duration of cholelithiasis before the operation. The treatment of these patients should be complex. Life-long prophylactic management is indicated in patients with pancreatic disorders.
