RESUMEN

Original method of treatment of a ligature fistulas was proposed, using the ligature taking out via fistular passway or doing the cutaneous cutting under continuous ultrasonographic control. The efficacy and safety of the method, comparing with existing methods (probing "blindly" and excision of the fistula), was estimated. Original method owes advantage of possibility to visualize the ligatures and instruments on all stages of the intervention, small need in anesthesia, good medical-statistical indices. The method proposed constitute a clinically beneficial intervention and more effective one.

RESUMEN

The results of treatment of 23 patients with the thyroid gland cyst was summarized. Laser photocoagulation was performed under ultrasonographic control. Peculiarities of the treatment performance using laser for the thyroid gland cyst with more than 10 ml volume were established. Twenty two (95.7%) patients had recovered and in one (4.3%)--the state improvement was noted. In laser photocoagulation for the cystically-transformed nodes the reduction or disappearance of residual nodal tissue was noted, there were no postoperative complications.

RESUMEN

The possibility of the miniinvasive methods application in the treatment of a cystic-transformed nodes of thyroid gland was studied up. In 59 patients the diagnostical and therapeutical interventions were carried out: in 39--the node's liquid contents aspiration (in 2 patients while cytological investigation the malignant transformation was revealed with operative treatment recommended); in 19--the ethanol sclerosing therapy (in 14--single, in 5--two-stage according to original method); in 4--the laser photocoagulation. The above mentioned methods efficacy was 82.2, 92.8 100 and 100% accordingly.

RESUMEN

Under analysis is an experience with examining and treatment of 167 patients with focal lesions of the liver using computed tomography. Percutaneous transhepatic puncture and draining the hepatic abscesses and cysts under control of computed tomography is an independent method of treatment used in 53 patients. The technique of performing the puncture and drainage is described. Specific features of surgical treatment of focal lesions of the liver are described. Decompression of bile ducts in the postoperative period is shown to be necessary. A conclusion is made about high efficiency of computed tomography in diagnosis and treatment of focal lesions of the liver.

RESUMEN

The experience with treatment of 97 patients with non-parasitary liver cysts by means of percutaneous puncture under guidance of ultrasound investigation and computed tomography has been summarized. The techniques for puncture of non-parasitary liver cysts with drainage and irrigation of a cyst cavity with the solutions of sclerosing substances are presented. The independence of a puncture method of treatment of non-parasitary liver cysts is stressed. A high effectiveness of the method is emphasized.
