Propuesta de intervención psicosocial en medio abierto con población habitante de calle en la ciudad de Medellín / Proposal for psychosocial intervention in an open environment with a population living in the city of Medellín

En lo sucesivo llevaremos a cabo una reflexión metodológica de una intervención psicosocial con población adulta, habitante de calle en la ciudad de Medellín. Se proponen aquí algunas ideas sobre la perspectiva, las condiciones y las características en que se desarrolla dicha práctica. Se resalta la importancia del vínculo y la interacción entre el habitante de la calle y el psicólogo social, influidos por algunas líneas del interaccionismo simbólico.

From now on we will carry out a methodological reflection of a psychosocial intervention with an adult population, a street dweller in the city of Medellín. Some ideas about the perspective, conditions and characteristics in which this practice is developed are proposed here. The importance of the link and the interaction between the inhabitant of the street and the social psychologist, influenced by some lines of symbolic interactionism, is highlighted.

Scrotal cystic hygroma in a 13-year-old boy.

We describe a patient with cystic hygroma, in a rare location (scrotum). The hygroma was diagnosed incidentally after injury to the scrotum in a 13-year-old boy. The diagnostic methods used, the characteristics of this type of tumor, its treatment and its clinical course are described. We suggest that cystic hygroma be taken into account in the differential diagnosis of other more frequent causes of scrotal masses.
