RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Chemical graph theory is a sub-branch of mathematical chemistry, assuming each atom of a molecule is a vertex and each bond between atoms as an edge. OBJECTIVE: Owing to this theory, it is possible to avoid the difficulties of chemical analysis because many of the chemical properties of molecules can be determined and analyzed via topological indices. Due to these parameters, it is possible to determine the physicochemical properties, biological activities, environmental behaviours and spectral properties of molecules. Nowadays, studies on the zero divisor graph of Z_n via topological indices is a trending field in spectral graph theory. METHODS: For a commutative ring R with identity, the prime ideal sum graph of R is a graph whose vertices are nonzero proper ideals of R and two distinctvertices I and J are adjacent if and only if I+J is a prime ideal of R. RESULTS: In this study the forgotten topological index and Wiener index of the prime ideal sum graph of Z_n are calculated for n=p^α,pq,p^2 q,p^2 q^2,pqr,p^3 q,p^2 qr,pqrs where p,q,r and s are distinct primes and a Sage math code is developed for designing graph and computing the indices. CONCLUSION: In the light of this study, it is possible to handle the other topological descriptors for computing and developing new algorithms for next studies and to study some spectrum and graph energies of certain finite rings with respect to PIS-graph easily.

RESUMEN

From the mid-nineteenth century, the railway network has been the most important mode of conveying people and goods in India. 22.15 million passengers used this network and 3.32 million metric tons of goods were also shipped daily from 2019 to 2020. The national rail network comprised 126,366 km of track over a route of 67,368 km and 7,325 stations. It is the fourth-largest national railway network globally after the United States, Russia and China. But with the passage, they pose a threat to the general public while travelling, being the instances of crimes rising fourfold in rails. The ongoing railway crime has become a cause of concern for the common passenger now. In this article, F-index for fuzzy graphs is used to analyze the railway crimes in India and compared with three other topological indices. F-index for fuzzy graphs and the first Zagreb index for fuzzy graphs provide similar results whereas F-index for fuzzy graphs provides better realistic results than F-index for crisp graphs and first Zagreb index for crisp graphs to detect the crime in Indian railway. Also, this index is studied for several operations such as Cartesian product, composition, union and join of two fuzzy graphs. Some interesting relations of F-index are established during fuzzy graph transformations. Using those transformation, it is shown that n-vertex star has maximum F-index among the n-vertex trees. Also, maximal n-vertex unicyclic fuzzy graph having r cycle is determined with respect to F-index.

RESUMEN

A massive of early drug tests implies that there exist strong inner relationships between the bio-medical and pharmacology characteristics of drugs and their molecular structures. The forgotten topological index was defined to be used in the analysis of drug molecular structures, which is quite helpful for pharmaceutical and medical scientists to grasp the biological and chemical characteristics of new drugs. Such tricks are popularly employed in developing countries where enough money is lacked to afford the relevant chemical reagents and equipment. In our article, by means of drug molecular structure analysis and edge dividing technology, we present the forgotten topological index of several widely used chemical structures which often appear in drug molecular graphs.
