RÉSUMÉ

OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study is to increase the effectiveness of diagnostics of microhemocirculatory changes in periodontal tissues in anatomical and functional disorders of the mucogingival complex, based on the use of the method of discriminant analysis of ultrasound opplerography. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 187 patients aged 18-44 years (young age according to WHO) were examined without concomitant somatic pathology with various variants of anatomical structures of the mucous-gingival complex, which included an assessment of blood flow in periodontal tissues by ultrasound dopplerography at rest and during a functional test of the tension of the soft tissues of the upper and lower lip, cheeks using an opt-out. After qualitative and quantitative analysis of dopplerograms, an automated assessment of the microhemocirculation of the studied structures was performed, identifying differences between groups using step-by-step discriminant analysis with the study of several variables. RESULTS: Depending on the type of reaction to the sample, a model of the distribution of patients into separate groups based on the application of the discriminant analysis method is proposed. It was found that patients of all groups were classified statistically significantly (p<0.05) and the possibility of distributing patients according to the described criteria (the ratio of the maximum systolic blood flow rate along the mean velocity curve, Vas) to a specific class corresponding to the highest value of the function was proved. CONCLUSION: The proposed method for assessing the functional state of periodontal tissue vessels allows classifying patients with high accuracy and a minimum of the probability of false results, reliably assess the degree of existing functional disorders, determine the prognosis and further tactics of therapeutic and preventive measures and can be recommended for use in clinical practice.

RÉSUMÉ

OBJECTIVE: in the experiment, to investigate the effect of Quercetin on the NO-dependent reactions of isolated vessels involving endothelium and perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) after a single X-ray irradiation of rats at a sublethal dose. In a clinical study, to investigate the effect of long-term use of Quercetin on the functional state of themicrovascular endothelium in the elderly patients with metabolic syndrome (MS). MATERIAL AND METHODS: Experimental studies were performed on vascular fragments obtained from adult male rats(7-8 months) of the control group, in animals exposed to a single R-irradiation at a dose of 7 Gy and animals irradiated in the same dose, which received Quercetin orally for 14 days three times a week based on 10 mg/kg bodyweight. Fragments of the thoracic aorta (TA) and mesenteric artery (MA) were cleaned of perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT-) or left uncleaned (PVAT+), and then were cut into rings (up to 2 mm). The amplitude of the contractionof the rings TA and MA under the influence of phenylephrine (PE, 3 x 10-6 M), the amplitude of the contraction of therings TA and MA in the presence of a competitive blocker of NO-synthase methyl ester of N-nitro-L-arginine(L-NAME, 10-5 M), the amplitude of relaxation of the rings TA and MA in the presence of N-acetylcysteine (NAC, 10-4 M)were measured. The clinical study examined 110 patients with MS criteria in accordance with ATP III (2001).Patients in the main group for 3 months received Quercetin from the same manufacturer, 80 mg three times a day, patients in the control group received placebo. RESULTS: Single R-irradiation disrupts the regulation of the contractile function of TA and MA, which is evidenced bychanges in the contractile reactions of isolated fragments of these vessels as a response to the action of vasoactivecompounds. Course use of Quercetin in irradiated rats leads to the normalization of contractile and dilatory vascular responses due to partial correction of NO metabolism in the endothelium and PVAT. For the majority of patients(69 %) who received Quercetin, a post-occlusive hyperemia test showed a statistically significant increase of maximal volumetric velocity of the skin blood flow rate and duration of the recovery period to the baseline, which indicates about improvement of vasomotor vascular endothelial function. CONCLUSIONS: Course use of Quercetin improves the functional state of the microvascular endothelium among theelderly people with MS, normalizes contractile and dilatory vascular responses in irradiated rats due to partial correction of NO metabolism in the endothelium and PVAT.

RÉSUMÉ

Development, standardization and use of medicinal products of plant origin and various therapeutic value are described in the review. The literature data refer to the studies of some leading institutions of the Russian Federation and in particular to the Medical Institute of the Russian University of Peoples' Friendship, All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Pyatigorsk State Pharmaceutical Academy and some foreign laboratories. Possible use of the trichoderma extract and its prospects are shown.

RÉSUMÉ

After administration of endocannabinoid-like compound N-stearoylethanolamine (NSE) at a dose of 0,1 and 5 mg/kg the anxiety level of rats in the elevated plus maze and learning ability of rats in the radial maze were investigated. It was revealed that NSE can change both innate and acquired behavior of rats. It was found that the administration of NSE decreased of anxious behavior in general, although number and duration of grooming were not affected. Administration of NSE at a dose of 5 mg/kg decreases of anxious behavior in rats but also decreases locomotor activity. Higher anxiolytic effect of the substance in the elevated plus maze and growth of learning ability in the radial maze were shown during 7 days' introduction of NSE at a dose of 0,1 mg/kg that administration of this substance at a dose of 5 mg/kg. Administration of NSE at a dose of 0.1 mg/kg significantly reduced the total number of errors in the radial maze compared to the control at the first day of conditioning with food reinforcement. The latent period of 3rd reinforcement's taking in animals in this group was lower on the 1st, 5th (P<0.05) and 6th (P <0.01) days. Nevertheless, it was found no significant differences in the behavior in rats treated with NSE in both doses throughout the study period. Therefore, NSE changes the behavior of rats and contributes to the improvement of cognitive function without negative effects specific to cannabinoid drugs.

RÉSUMÉ

Sixty-two patients with cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and endocrine diseases aged over 60 years and 27 healthy young people aged 16-18 years (controls) were examined in order to evaluate the qualitative composition and dissemination of oral microflora in elderly people with general somatic diseases. Microbiological study revealed changes in the qualitative composition and dissemination of the oral mucosa microflora, which depended on patient's age, disease, and treatment administered for somatic disease.
